I had the best filet mignon, rice and tomato. The sesame bread and cucumber yogurt was so good. All 5 of our plates were so good. Lamb Shank, 2 chicken Kabobs. All were great. We will be back. The restaurant was full and sound level made it hard for my old ears to hear our party talking.

Second visit: Another excellent visit this time with work colleagues! Dee was our server and she was awesome along with the rest of the staff. The Barg was excellent and also loved the baklava for dessert. First visit: Excellent restaurant with great servers organization and atmosphere. Ron did an excellent job and made our anniversary dinner special.

My husband made Valentines reservations for us as first timers and we absolutely loved it. There was a small misunderstanding at check-in that caused a brief delay, but it was quickly resolved. Just a testament to how well they handle any minor inconveniences. Asser truly made the experience, his recommendations were amazing. My husband had the chicken and beef kabobs and i had the sea bass - delicious!!

The experience here was absolutely wonderful. The food was full of flavor, the drinks were excellent, and everything felt thoughtfully done. We visited on our birthday and truly enjoyed the time we spent there. The complimentary dessert was a sweet surprise and made the evening even more special. Had a wonderful time at Rumi’s with my family. It was our first time there and we practically sampled everything. Our server Michael N. was amazing! He gave us some delicious recommendations on appetizers and rices. We got what he suggested and I suggest you do as well! He was attentive, patient, and thoughtful to our whole experience. The food was hot and fresh! It all came out perfectly timed, just long enough to savor each course! We will be back!

Most amazing place EVER!!!! MY favorite dish is the chicken kabob with half Afas and half shirin then after I order the Saffron Gold Ice cream!! AMAZING!!! 😍

Amazing Persian cuisine! Food was delicious and the drinks were fine. Service was top tier; our server was very attentive and also extremely nice. Also loved the vibe and ambience the restaurant had to offer. I’ll definitely be coming back to try some more awesome Persian food

On the drive from Dallas to Charlotte I stopped at Rumi’s Kitchen in Atlanta-total detour win. Sultani platter: half kubideh, half barg kebab-so soft, so smoky, so stupid good. Like, did a Persian grandma personally roll it? Kask bademjan , though? Eggplant that melted like butter, saffron and walnuts singing harmony in my mouth. Plated pretty as a postcard. Manager popped over, asked if everything was good-was perfect, warm, low-key cool. If they opened in Dallas I’d eat here instead of breathing.

It you're looking to have a great kebabs and persian foods in Atlanta, you should try Rumi!! Reasonable pricing with fresh and tasty menu , service is perfect , they are always busy and crowded but waiters are very well experienced. Try their Soltani kebab if you're a meat lover!! Will visit soon.

Best Bite of Sea Bass I have ever had. Please order it. This restaurant is so good. Absolutely excellent food and service. This food is beyond belief. Any issues and they will make it right. It is busy, but so very worth it. Justin was our server and did a great job.

I visited this place to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and it was such a wonderful experience! They even arranged a special surprise for her, which made the evening extra memorable. Lauren took care of us throughout — she was amazing, very friendly, and helped us choose the perfect dishes. Highly recommend!

We were lucky to be there on a beautiful evening! The staff was amazing and the food even more so! We ate soooo much food and beverages. The grilling was perfect and the food amazing! We were not rushed and were able to enjoy a peaceful meal even with a large group!

Our family lunch at Rumi’s Kitchen was absolutely exceptional. The three-course meal was outstanding. We started with beautifully crafted mocktails and sodas, followed by perfectly prepared kabobs—tender lamb, flaky salmon, and succulent chicken that had us savoring every bite. But the best was saved for last. The finale was pure magic: delicate multi layered baklava paired with cardamom ice cream, plus a delightful ice cream sandwich sprinkled with saffron and cardamom bits. Rumi’s Kitchen delivered more than exceptional food—it provided an experience that brought our family together. If you would like an excellent take on classic Turkish/Mediterranean food then Rumi's is the place for you. From the moment that you reserve your table until you leave, you are treated like a loyal customer should. The staff is very accommodating and the food is well thought out. I have eaten Mediterranean food at hundreds of places around the world over the past 30 years, I must say, Rumi's has done an excellent job. We had their salmon dish and their vegetable plate. Both executed perfectly. My wife is a very, very picky eater. In her words, their Salmon, "the best I ever had"!. That is saying alot. My wife has eaten Salmon up and down the coast. She states that their Salmon ia the best ever. Their appetizers are unique to their Restaurant and the bread is fresh. Only 2 complaints, very small ones: 1. How about some place to sit while waiting for 30-45 minutes for a table. The weather was great last night, but, what will happen when it is not? 2. How about a quieter area for the restaurant for a more intimate setting. The restaurant was as live as mating season in the Amazon jungle (smile). Which is an indication of the happiness people have. But, we couldn't hear ourselves think let alone have a dinner conversation without yelling (smile). The food is too good to not be able to enjoy it peacefully.

We ordered the lamb hummus this time, which comes topped with tender chunks of lamb—rich, satisfying, and beautifully balanced. The grilled shrimp appetizer is another standout—the shrimp are enormous, almost lobster-sized, and absolutely delicious. When it comes to entrees, the kebabs are always a hit. Whether you go with steak or chicken, the meat is grilled to perfection, full of flavor and expertly seasoned. The rice is a star in its own right, with several varieties to choose from. I recommend trying two or three for a mix of textures and tastes—they truly elevate the meal. One last fun touch: the street outside often doubles as a luxury car showcase. Ferraris, Porsches, and other high-end vehicles regularly line up outside, making it a treat for car lovers as well. Rumi’s Kitchen delivers on every level—ambience, service, and food. A must-visit if you’re in the area.

Rumi’s kitchen was great! The chicken kabobs and signature cocktail were delectable. Fresh ingredients from start to finish, AMAZING service from Olivia!! She put my birthday flowers in fresh water, and brought out a desert. 10/10 will be returning. 🍽️ 🍋 🍅💐

I’ve eaten at all the different locations of rumi’s and multiple times at this specific location. I’ve never had bad experience, but this most recent dining experience left quite the impression. We had a reservation at 9:30pm and we weren’t seated until a little after 10pm. Understandably the restaurant was very packed but me and my date were offered champagne for the long wait. Not only that the manager of the restaurant came to our table as soon as we were seated to profusely apologize about the long wait and even sent us 2 complementary appetizers, which did not disappoint. Service and food were impeccable and I would highly recommend to anyone who is interested in dining here.

Lovely place! Great service! Delicious food! We celebrated my daughter’s 16th birthday and they did everything we requested, held the cake we brought in the back and kept it cool, lit up the candles and brought it out to us. Thank you for your wonderful service!

Consistent quality and great service. The kbob menus are excellent, the basmati rice with orange zest and cranberry is exceptional! Their jumbo prawns are huge and deliciously grilled! The appetizers are some of the best, try the wings with hot sauce, salmon or ground lamb with hummus. Atmosphere is vibrant and wait staff on point!

Great restaurant. Best shrimp ive ever had i think. Dont know what was in the sauce but it was fantastic. My date was a late lying loser but the food and wonderful staff made up for it. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Persian food is hands down some of the most unique food in America. It's not commonly found even in big cities. If you have a chance to dine at one, please do. The last time I had Persian food was in Chicago decades ago! First, the hummus, bread, and a plate of greens, radish, walnuts, and feta arrived. Very healthy and pleasant. Next, the hummus and I'm going to argue theirs is some of the best. We ordered the mushroom hummus; sauteed mushrooms layer on top of the hummus. I ordered falafel because I have tried to make this at home and failed miserably. It was delicious and paired very well with the hummus as well as the pickled beets. We also tried the cauliflower and it was delicious. The rice really surprised me. It was a sour cherry rice and nothing like anything I have ever had- and I'm a regular at all of the Indian restaurants in my city. But, the employees were delightful. These were just very good, warm hearted, friendly people. Our waitress was excellent. She has a good soul. So overall, this restaurant is top tier in every way. I loved eating outside too!

Delicious food and such kind staff! We sat at the bar and were seated right away. Loved the salmon, hummus, and duo of dips - I could live on those alone :))). The rose ice cream was unique and refreshing. Can’t wait to go back and try the chicken and lamb!

Wow. What an amazing dining experience! We sat outside and it was the most perfect ambiance for a date night. Our server Valentina was everything we could've asked for. She was kind, attentive, and so funny. My husband has an allergy and both she and the manager made sure he was well taken care of. We had the mirza dip for an appetizer and shared the barg chicken and it was plenty of food for both of us. Such a wonderful time!

I literally had the best meal of my life. All the appetizers that were served at our business dinner were fantastic. The Sea Bass was the best tasting dish I have EVER had!! The service was amazing by Anthony. I have Celiac and he knew exactly how to take care of me. He provided excellent service to all of us! Victoria was the person I worked with to organize this dinner and she too was amazing - very organized and responsive. I will definitely be going back!!

Rumi’s never disappoints, and tonight was no exception. My husband ordered the wings. He is serious about his wings and said they were some of the best he has ever had. We also shared the fried eggplant appetizer, which was fantastic. But the highlight of our evening was our server, Valentina. She gave thoughtful recommendations, was incredibly attentive, and made the experience feel personal. We genuinely enjoyed our conversation with her, which made the night even more memorable. As much as I look forward to the chicken barg every visit, I may be just as excited to request Valentina next time.

The atmosphere is great a little loud sometimes but not crazy. The decor is well kept and restaurant has a clean look. The staff great working with a smile on and looking for ways to provide a more white glove service experience. We enjoy the outdoor seating on nice days . This is one of my favorite places to eat. The portions are generous, and well prepared. I enjoyed the lamb kabob and the rice that paired with it ( the waiter was great at explaining the different rices to us ) my wife like the shrimp kabob.

We visited Rumi’s for the first time last night. What an amazing experience. Our waiter (Evan, I believe), was fantastic. He explained the menu it’s and made great recommendations. The manager visited our table at least twice to check on us. The food was fantastic! Great flavor and portions. Wonderful experience. Will definitely be back!

Had a beautiful time here last weekend celebrating our anniversary & a special event. The food was phenomenal and our server, Ethan (?), was very kind and helpful. The leftovers are even better! You cannot go wrong with anything on this menu…Great water as well ☺️ (Minus 1 star for the wait, although not horrible considering it was a Friday night. A waiting area for those with reservations would be nice, otherwise, the surrounding strip is great to kill time 🙂)

Stopped in for Lunch to celebrate an event. Wait time for a table was not that long even though it was busy for a Saturday afternoon. Staff and service were great. Food was good. However the plate of chicken kabobs was slightly undercooked inside. We brought this to the attention of the server and manager handled it i would say well. -1 star for that slightly undercooked chicken. Otherwise a good experience.

I had heard a lot about the place so wanted to give it a try. We ordered the wings and roasted eggplant for appetizers with few cocktails. Everything was really nice. No complaints on the quality of the food. I deducted a star for the service. For a highly active restaurant like this you would expect better customer service. I had reserved a table for a particular time and I was there on time. I was told to wait and when I wasn’t called for 15 mins I had to go check again only to find out the lady didn’t remember to check me in. Secondly, we ordered appetizers and main course almost at the same time and asked the waiter to get 1 at a time. After we were done with appetizers and ready for main course we were informed 1 of the 2 items ordered was unavailable which I found frustrating as this could have been communicated at the time of placing the order or few mins after that. We ended up with just 1 main course coz I didn’t feel like ordering again and waiting more.

Had a great dinner at Rumi’s Kitchen! We tried the chicken wings – super spicy and tasty. The grilled shrimps were okay, loved the sauce but only got 2 pieces and they were a bit overcooked. Falafel was nice and definitely worth ordering. But the winner for me? The saffron rice – sooo good, fluffy, and fragrant! The place itself has such a cozy, homey vibe. I’ll for sure be back to try more dishes next time.

It gets busy on the weekends. We had to wait 20 minutes despite our reservation, but once we were seated, our server Lane made for a wonderful experience. He took the time to explain the menu & offer recommendations. * I recommend the Mirza Ghasemi (smoked eggplant) as a starter * Can’t go wrong with either the Chicken kabob or Koobideh kabob * Chicken & ground beef are halal

I was so looking forward to going to this new restaurant after really liking the other Rumi’s that is currently under renovation. I’m sorry to say the other restaurant experience was SO MUCH BETTER. First, this place is SO NOISY!!! You could hardly hear yourself much less have a conversation. My chicken meal here at Avalon was overcooked, hard, not moist nor flavorful. The rice was good but the small amount of sauce on the rice was disappointing. The apps were the best part of the experience. The eggplant was perfection, smoky and delicious. The shrimp appetizer and shrimp meal was very good. Flavorful and tasty. The shrimp meal came with rice that was wonderfully seasoned with orange peel and other spices. Amazing. The cream brûlée was different. It was flavored with cardamon and earl grey tea. I liked it very much even if it was brown and had a different taste. The atmosphere was rated low because of the noise level. Holding a conversation was nearly impossible.

Rumi’s in Alpharetta offers great service and a beautiful atmosphere, but unfortunately, the pricing doesn’t match the portions. I ordered a single dish that cost $45, it was missing a lot of seasoning, and the portion was surprisingly small. For that price, I expected more. The staff was friendly and attentive, but I personally won’t be returning due to the lack of value. There are other spots in the area that offer a better balance of taste, service, and portion size.

Good main dishes but I wouldn’t bother with the starters. Really pricey for fairly basic meals that are nothing to write home about. Dry dry dry baklava yikes. Cardamom ice cream was delicious though. The atmosphere really killed it, sat right by the counter to the kitchen and up against another table. It was so loud we couldn’t have a conversation and we got bumped into at least 6 times.

Went to Rumis to celebrate an anniversary and overall I’d say it didn’t live up to expectations. The food was a hit or miss. In particular the mushroom hummus and the sea bass were incredible I absolutely loved it. On the other hand the shrimp was tough and chewy and the beef kabab was meh at best. Not sure if we got the wrong one as it tasted more like lamb than beef. I’ve had better service at chick fil a. Our server wasn’t particularly pleasant and was very slow.

Customer service was good very nice. It was busy for a Tuesday so make sure make a reservation. Yes, it's pricey but food was tasty. Found two black thick HAIR in the fried eggplant! Was upset and unhappy about it since it was a birthday dinner but waitress apologized a manager came and apologized as well. Drinks were good if eating outside have stand up heater to keep warm and umbrellas to black wind and sun.
