A very positive experience. The tasting menu, €25 plus two substitutes, offers a good variety of food. Five appetizers to start, with the manager being very helpful and knowledgeable. He even went out of his way to substitute items that the guests at the table couldn't eat, and explained in detail any intolerances and allergies. The quality of the appetizers was excellent; the beef with mushrooms was very tender and rich in sauce. The only flaw was the pasta was a bit bland, but it was cooked just right. Recommended for lunch to fully enjoy the lake and mountain surroundings.

A wonderful place to spend a lovely evening. You can choose to dine on the lakefront terrace, or enjoy an evening of music in the garden overlooking the river, surrounded by willow trees and nature. There are children's games and a large green space where you can breathe in the fresh air. I highly recommend it! I recommend the beer, both bottled and on tap 😊

Welcoming, clean place, friendly and professional staff. All the dishes were excellent, beautifully presented, and a wonderful blend of flavors. The "dishes of the day" were highly appreciated, including the Bra sausage tartare, potatoes, asparagus, and arugula pesto. A hidden gem, I'll definitely be back for an aperitivo given the beauty of the place! Congratulations, don't change (unless for the better 😉)

A truly five-star place. Beautiful, airy, and convivial. A terrace overlooking the lake, which must be very picturesque in the warmer months. Excellent food, as was the service. The Christmas lunch was perfect. Parking was a large, spacious lawn. Compliments to the staff, friendly and helpful without ever being intrusive. Excellent wines.

Ristorante vicino ad un laghetto ad Alpignano, la strada per arrivarci passa in mezzo ai campi ed è un po dissestata, il locale e bello ed il personale molto gentile. Cucina piemontese, piatti buoni, servizio veloce.

Purtroppo ci siamo andati d'inverno ma il potenziale di questo posto già era ben visibile. Un piccolo angolo tranquillo e rilassante, si mangia bene e si va via molto soddisfatti. Cibo molto buono, servizio impeccabile e veloce, ambiente molto curato. I prezzi davvero onesti. Complimenti, ci torneremo con la bella stagione.

An excellent place to relax and spend time with friends. The staff is very helpful, the menu offers a good selection, and vegan options are also available. There's a play area equipped for children and teenagers. One very important point: the fence surrounding the parking lot needs to be fixed to prevent accidents if a responsible adult isn't present to supervise children and teenagers playing freely.

A very nice small restaurant located in a cottage in the countryside, near two small ponds at the foot of the mountains. The cuisine is very good, the service is quick and kind. The dining room is large and well lit by large windows all around. A very friendly and agreeable environment, where it is nice to spend some time, even beyond the eating time. There is also ping pong! The only downside is that it is not a place well known by navigators. I used three different ones, and to get there they all made me take an unnecessarily long detour, also passing on dirt roads.

Food were delicious, service was good, friendly, also having english speaking staff member. I liked specially their benvenuto with presocco and small starter before you order. Only, the thing the food portion was a bit small for me. I ordered a fish, expected normal fish but arrived a small piece of fish, very tasty. So, later should order another meal. If I know portions are small could take a menu.

Siamo stati all’Osteria Lago di Alpignano in coppia il 12 aprile 2025. Il cibo è stato nella media, niente di eccezionale. Purtroppo, titolare e camerieri sfottevano ad alta voce una famiglia con bambini al tavolo vicino. Anche se i bambini erano un po’ rumorosi, il tono e le parole forti usate non erano per nulla piacevoli e hanno rovinato l’atmosfera. In sintesi: il cibo va, ma il comportamento del personale è stato un serio punto negativo.

Very charming and well-kept location. Ample parking. The quality of the dishes served is truly excellent, the plating and cooking perfect. Service is prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable. The only flaw is the portion sizes, which are honestly very meager, not at all like an osteria. Specifically: the appetizer was skimpy, the wild boar tortelloni seemed like a half portion, and the limoncello served in a tiny glass was so disappointing I couldn't even take a photo. The quality is fine, but the quantity is also worth it. What a shame 🙇🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

The restaurant is located just outside Alpignano, overlooking a small lake at the foot of Mount Musinè. The restaurant is clean and tidy, but still has a touch of that typical 1990s lakeside restaurant feel. The large entrance area, complete with a marquee, performance platforms, and metal tables, along with its enclosed BBQ area and children's playground, betrays the restaurant's former glory. However, the modern interior decor strives to create a different atmosphere. In the summer, you can eat on the back terrace overlooking the lake, but I recommend sitting inside anyway, as the sun beating down on it at lunchtime can get very, very hot. The dishes are average; you can tell they strive for quality, but the execution isn't always up to par. Among the Piedmontese appetizers, some items, like the giardiniera and turkey with tuna sauce (I assume it was turkey, because it didn't taste like veal topside), were fairly bland. The Russian salad was very good. The first courses are homemade and delicious, clearly showing the refinement. For the second course, I tried the tongue and I have to admit it was the best dish of the meal. The bunet was also good, made differently than usual, with a hint of basil that was too much (but that's my personal preference). The staff is friendly and helpful, and the service is very quick; with few customers, lunch is served in an hour. Overall, I found it a bit overpriced: appetizer, first course, second course (without side dish), glass of wine, and dessert, €50, without coffee or a digestif. Considering that: for a little more, you can eat at a Michelin-starred restaurant, and that the area is somewhat spoiled by the nearby lake (where they fish, grill, and play loud music), I would have expected the price to be a few euros lower. I still recommend going if you're in the area, perhaps on a weekday evening.

Scomoda Ma vera

We found this place by chance, reading the excellent reviews. It's beautiful and well-kept. Definitely clean. They have their own gastronomic offerings, which demonstrate a great deal of study and research into reworking traditional dishes and presenting them in an innovative way. Behind every gesture and every dish, you can see all the work and effort that goes into such an undertaking. There's no à la carte menu; there are three options. The ingredients are good, but I'm sorry the dishes aren't to my taste. I would have expected something more. That said, I'll allow myself two observations: no paper napkins in a place like this. And I change cutlery between appetizers because the flavor of the dishes is tainted by the previous course. There are two menus, one for €23 and one for €26. Half a liter of house wine and a bottle of water are €68. I'd level the prices a bit, as they're honestly on the high side.

Conttura pasta pienamente sbagliata arrivati ancora crudi. Il resto niente di eccezionale. Ma la cosa che mi ha colpito di più e la scortesia del personale. onsiglio vivamente di migliorare la qualità e soprattutto la gestione del cliente. Che viene trattato davvero in maniera troppo scortese
