An oasis in the snow. After a day on the sleds, was a great place for a meal and drinks. Cool atmosphere and some indoor cornhole tournaments. Looking forward to our next pit stop there.

Had a friend from out of town, and we wanted to go out to eat. I had a few people rave about the food here, so we took a ride. Walked in and we were the only ones there, waitress was right there. She told us the spacial and we all ordered the wings( omg the choices for flavors made it so hard) they cooked them perfectly. We spent two hours there shooting pool, and just talking to the owner and waitress. IF YOU PASS THIS PLACE UP, YOU LOST IT BIG !!! also I ordered more wings to go. .

Tug Hills awesome JEM! Good food Good views Good times! Always a party going on. The owners are super chill, Freindly and make an enjoyable time of hanging out while getting a bite to eat. Warm up, or chill out. You can show up my snowmobile, ATV, UTV boat kayak, motorcycle, what ever just enjoy all they have to offer. OOH and they are lake side too. Make this high on your 'must stop' list, they always have an event going on so go ahead let yourself have a good time.

Got tickets from the cops for unregistered snowmobiles but the bar was great!

This place is tucked away off a quiet roadside on a quiet little lake but even on a Wednesday night it was a lively inviting vibe! We had some killer wings and drinks at a great price! We even happened to come in on wing night and man, more flavors to choose from then I have ever seen!

Loved the atmosphere. Cheeseburger & fresh fried chips were AMAZING. Price was reasonable. They have GF options. 3 of us was $43+8 tip. We stopped here after a rainy ATV ride. Cannot wait to come back! UPDATE... there are 2 Google listing for this place: Kasoag Lake Tavern & Kasoag Campgrounds.

Kasoag Lake Tavern & Grill is an excellent place to relax and have an excellent meal! We enjoy riding sleds, side by sides and driving here. The scenery is beautiful and there are many great events here!

Good people, warm atmosphere, wonderful support for snowmobiling. Places like Kasoag Lake Tavern are what make upstate NY a wonderful place.

This place is so cool n quaint! The food is perfect. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. The view is incredibly beautiful; a slice of heaven.

The fish fry dinner is outstanding. Broccoli salad and french fries and onion rings are perfect. Outside tables overlooking the lake are best. Can't say enough good about the food. Beware, the place itself is a little wonky, but worth checking out.

This place is awesome! We met the owner Jay over the weekend on our first visit. He was super friendly, and made us feel welcomed. The wings are all made fresh never frozen and were delicious. We will definitely be back for more next time we are in town!!

Stopped by for a cold Busch Light and a bite to eat yesterday. Asked about the soup for the day. Sure am glad I did - "Uncle Merv's" NE clam chowder was absolutely fantastic. I asked my husband if we could go back today for more, but not happening. I should have gotten some to go!

The food was delicious as well as affordable. Try the pull pork sandwich it’s fantastic. The haddock special on Friday is worth trying as well. They have hazy little thing on tap here, one of my favorite beers! Great cozy environment. Jay is extremely friendly and accommodating.

We love coming up here. There is always good food, great service, and friendly faces. The owner himself came out and refilled our drinks to help our server handling many other tables. Tonight was an excellent singer to compliment the meal. Great place and a great atmosphere.

I come to the area every year to fish and Kasoag is my favorite watering hole and restaurant in the area! Always a good time! The owners are always welcoming and the rest of the staff is awesome. Great pub food and don't miss Wing night on Wednesdays. Erin and Lindsey are are great Bartenders!

We love Kasoag! Jill and Jay are so sweet and accommodating. We love sitting outside on the picnic tables. They have a beauitful lawn that our children like to run across. The lake is so close they can fish on the dock while you watch them play from your table. They also have corn hole to play on the lawn.

Super clean and accommodating. Plenty of room and seating even though it was busy. Good food too. Kinda makes you wish they had a little Corner Store or Canteen or something for travel snacks and beverages. Non-alcoholic of course... 😆

We road in on sleds at about noon and had a great time.The bartenders were fun and the owner was a blast. It’s a great ride there and with a scenic view. we returned at dinner time. Place was packed, food was excellent , service was great and the waitresses were hustling.

I heard that this place was a classic fun destination, but this place is 200% times what I expected. Came to see the eclipse would come back for the refreshingly real and well grounded people. Great food, awesome atmosphere, clean campsites…. And Fantastically fresh hard cider.

This was a wonderful find on a beautiful day. We got so many options but with their respectable portion sizes, our eyes were never bigger than our stomachs. We started with the polish nachos which are loaded fried perogies. We then ordered mozzarella sticks. Followed by our main courses my fiance got the Black and Blue Burger and I wound up with the Bacon Bourbon Burger. Of course this is a bar so we both also got drinks he got a Hazy IPA and I had the Nutty Russian (a Hazelnut White Russian) and their seasonal Caramel Apple Cocktail which were both lovely. The bartender was very personable and attentive. The food and service would definitely give me a reason to return. My only complaint is the upcharge to pay with a card, accept cards or don't, don't make your patrons cover your vendor fees. With an $80 tab I was lucky to have that much cash on me.

Kasoag Lake Tavern and Grill never disappoints the local crowd. On the trail or in the Truck the food is always fantastic. Try the Polish Nachos! Our favorite, wife says I've gotta try and make them at home. I tell her, get in the truck we are going to Kasoag Lake Tavern and Grill. Wednesday, 50 cent wing deals Friday Haddock Fish Fry. I swear the damn fish was swimming yesterday! Great Salads too. Try the Chicken Bacon Ranch Salad with an order of Cream Cheese Jalapeño Poppers. Great for snowmobiling!!!

I had an amazing time here last night. I've been here once before about 4 years ago and it was amazing then too. I love the atmosphere. The music, the food, the drinks, all of it. The owners are awesome people. They have rooms for rent as well as a cabin and lots to rent as well. If you're in the area definitely stop by and grab a drink and some food.

Went here for a wedding and it was so beautiful. The staff are super friendly their food was amazing and it was just overall a great place to have a wedding and reception.

Food was decent, but the service was slow/sporadic (i.e. understaffed?). Live music was nice. Casual, convivial atmosphere, great for an after-work hangout with friends!

Food was great, service a little slow needs more help hope they make it work lot better than it was years before these people owned it. This is my third week in a row I've been there.

Great little tavern for what it is, the food is mostly frozen but the people are nice and the food was quick and tasty enough. Not fancy dining, but for a burger and chicken tenders it was good. The polish nachos were pretty tasty too!

Dive … which I love … my food was really good and the wife’s shrimp were tops … her sides were sad enough to bring tears to my eyes… Mac and cheese was wallpaper paste..: cool dive bar though … just stick with bar food and enjoy

Fish was very good. Mac and cheese side was dry, disappointing. Otherwise sides were fine. Burger ordered med. Was hockey puck, tasteless. Not sure it deserves a return visit.

Food is amazing, love the variety of sauces and the polish wings are to die for! Great place for a good bite to eat and a cold drink, I just don't understand why the food takes so long. Went two weeks in a row and waited close to 2 hours for food both times. I understand kitchens can't keep up when it's busy, but it definitely wasn't busy enough for it to take that long. Will be back, I just hope to see less waiting times in the future.

Rustic bar and restaurant, the waitress was awesome very friendly and knowledgeable. So many chicken wing flavors. The deep fried cheese curds were very good, the breading was a little thick but otherwise delicious. Very nice!

When I walked in I almost walked out. But remembered the New York Bar thing some of best food in dumpy bars! The place was pretty red neck and I live in Georgia. But I stuck it out and glad we did as the food was really good. Broccoli salad excellent and wrap I had great with lots of spinach! Husbands haddock was good too. And excellent onion rings.

I've been going here since the 80s, very fond memories and still a great place to go! Beautiful cabin rentals and canoeing on the lake was great!

Nice setting. Does seem to be a local bar with typical regulars. Seems they want to make it a restaurant more than bar but have a lot of work ahead of them. Prices seem average maybe even a little low. With that said 12 oz Miller was $3 or I was over charged.

Stioped last friday evening. First time here since the new owners. My boyfriend went to the bar to get us drinks. He was not greeted he was treated horribly being a new customer. We will not return. We were actually looking for a new place to have friday night fish dinner but, unfortunately it was not a friendly experience so we will not return. It's sad because I actually like Jill. 😔

We rode in on New Years weekend, the place was extremely busy in all fairness. We finally found an open table to eat but there was apparently no table service. We seen one waitress trying to keep up but she never looked our way. We figured we would just order drinks at the bar and go on our way, no harm no foul. They had one bartender guy that looked pretty rattled as he tried to keep up with the window for the back room and the bar too. I stood at the bar for 10 minutes trying to get his attention but not to be. A couple other ladies came out of the kitchen a couple times and didn't acknowledge me either. After a total of 25 minutes in the place we took and hit the trail. To be fair, they were busy, under staffed and it was lunch time on a holiday week we realized. Someone could at least said we will be with you in a minute lol. We have been told they do however have good food but the service tends to lack, I guess we will try it again sometime to be fair.

Very disappointed, mac & cheese/ coleslaw not good,fish was small, but average quality. Very loud anywhere near the bar area,went there for the 1st time, will not return.

This place is always out of something usually twisted tea. the bar personal is nice the owners are nice. But there always out of something 5 outa the last 6 times I stopped there they were out of twisted tea. im not stopping anymore unless i call ahead to see what there out of. I sitting there drinking a beverage of there choice and another customer wanted to order one of there specialties Polish Nachos they didnt have the ingredients. I dont usually like making bad reviews, but I was honestly turned off about this place with the experience we had. Came here to try it out since most everything we have heard about the place was positive. Had a lousy experience. Wasn't very busy at all on an Sunday night. Walked in and sat at a table. Waitress was great, but that was the only thing. My mother ordered a vodka and cranberry. Tasted as if they forgot the vodka. We ordered the sample platter for an appetizer, a bacon cheeseburger with fries, and a bourbon bacon cheeseburger with fries. Appetizer came out about 15 minutes later. Fries and onion rings were way over cooked as they were inedible and crunchy. The 2 chicken fingers, fried ravioli, and jalapeño poppers were good. Mozzarella sticks were undercooked. And the fried pickles were missing completely. Was told after the fact they were out of them. Another 15 minutes passed and our burgers were out. After telling the waitress the onion rings and fries on the appetizer where overcooked the fries and onion rings with the burgers were perfectly cooked, but that was the only thing. My mother's bacon cheeseburger was supposed to be medium rare and came out well done. And the bacon was basically non existent. My burger was also well done and then some which was supposed to be medium rare. The cheese on the burger was some sort of cheese sauce that was not pleasing to look at let alone eat. And the bacon was not even on the sandwich. The waitress was very apologetic. The owner guy cam out after and asked what was wrong. We told him our food was overcooked and missing items and he agreed, and proceeded to tell us that he hasn't heard anything negative of their food in 2 years. Never offered to make it better. He took the burgers off our bill and we paid for the drinks and sample platter as my mother offered to because we ate part of it. After we paid the bill he then proceeded to tell us that they had a new cook that started 3 day ago and another cook that had been there for 3 weeks. Would think the owner would check on food before it is sent out. In my opinion the owner should have compted the whole meal and apologized for a negative experience and try to at least remake the meal. We were also going to use a voucher from oswego county to purchase $200.00 in gift cards. Kind of glad we ate here before we did. Maybe it was just a bad day for this place but I am sorry I will not return.

So I have a love/hate relationship with this place. The food is incredible especially the wings. But the service is so slow!! If they tell you 45 minutes for a take out order they really mean an hour. In my case tonight, 45 minutes turned into an hour and a half. For just one order of wings.

The food was good after it came out a hour and 15 minutes later for 2 people.the owner was stumbling around hammered instead of helping his staff from drowning. We will never be back this has been a problem a few times!

Only good thing was the bottle beer was nice and cold. Wings were dry and no flavor. DON'T get the cheese steak egg rolls. Horrible & expensive. (Only got 3 little horrible egg rolls for $9). Had to go up to bar to get my own beer after being empty for over 10 minutes. Sorry, never going there again.

3 hr wait time for chicken wings. Asked the owner about the food he turned his back, busy talking to his friends. Didn’t get all food we ordered. Waitress came back to table because she couldn’t read here writing on the ticket. Just a bad night, eat something before you go.

The waitress was nice, and I could tell she was trying...however it was so LOUD, even the waitress said her voice hurt from talking over the music. So why would you not turn it down? We couldn't carry on a conversation. We have been here for an hour and half and still don't have any food. If I could give zero stars I would.

I ordered to go got the Philly cheese sandwich, the kasog sampler, fries pickles, and a kids tenders meal. When I picked it up got in the car everything was soggy soaking with grease, the fries pickles were way over done that the batter just fell off the only good thing was the jalapeno poppers those were excellent. It's a same for the price you would expect better quality food .
