Come before 9 if you want fresh food. They don't cook all day long. Most of the cooking is done in the morning and the rest of the time is spent prepping food for the next few day.

We like Benjamin's for several reasons. They are close to our neighborhood, they are locally owned and everything they make is amazing. The staff is friendly and eager to please their customers.

The kolaches are always fresh and delicious 😋, as are their donuts. And the croissants 🥐 are always top notch.

Tried this place for the first time today, and I am very impressed! The donuts smell amazing, they taste better, and the customer service was really good as well. This place should really consider opening a spot on the east side of town. My only problem, which isn’t a big one, is that it’s a 15 minute drive across town to get these heavenly morsels...

We ordered 35 dozen for our school event and it was a seamless transaction! Great price, picked them up at 6:30am just like agreed and they were hot and fresh! Absolutely the best!

Their red velvet donut is my son's favorite donut in Amarillo!! This is an awesome place to have breakfast for the whole family. The sausage kolaches are amazing also!

The fresh donuts are perfect. The yeast ones have a crisp crust outside and a soft, airy inside. The cake ones are flavorful but not too heavy like other cake donuts. Then there's the meat kolaches / croissant wraps. The ham, cheese, and jalapeno combine for a rich, delicious, balanced breakfast treat. The exterior of the building is unassuming. But inside there's great food and plenty of seating.

They had been busy and therefore did not have the cinnamon rolls that we ordered. However, the cinnamon donuts that were recommended were amazing. As always the staff was friendly and helpful.

Also, their donuts are delicious andthey were a huge hit withnour students, parents, and staff! You should definitely go check them out!

LOVE their donuts. Much less grease than other Amarillo favorites and more flavor variety. Best apple fritter in town. My favorite is the maple bacon (real bacon on top!). When they have donuts. My only complaint is if you don't get there really early, the run out fast!

The staff is very friendly and we've never had a bad experience. They have a good variety of donuts, more than just your traditional styles. Their croissant donuts are amazing. The one issue is they aren't necessarily consistent in what they offer from day to day or week to week. But, we don't find that to be an issue and there's always something our boys will eat.

Really great donut. Friendly service. Good prices. They carry kolaches, burritos, and sandwiches. I didn't try any of those and they are pre-made but that doesn't mean they aren't good. (I would guess they are made fresh daily using fresh bread, pastries or tortillas. )

The doughnuts are the best in town. The kolaches too. Stay away from the egg burritos, here in Texas we don't put sage in breakfast burritos. It tasted very strange, like super salty/peppery Thanksgiving stuffing. Pretty bad.

Only 6 donuts to choose from?

I was wanting something different and ordered breakfast burritos at a donut shop. (I know)...I tried the Korean Bulgogi Burrito and the Combo breakfast Burrito. The Bulgogi was sweat in taste and due to added salsa tasted even sweeter.... don't recommend this. But the combination Bacon Breakfast Burrito was as expected, the salsa once again was a little sweet for my liking. Thier coffee is actually one of the better coffees I have had in a while. I there defense, their donuts in the past have been on point. So if you want donuts this is a good place for sure.

Would have given 4 stars because we go here all the time for their awesome donut holes but lately they have tasted bad. They are crunchy and more dense and I can taste the grease. They used to be so light before. I don’t know what has changed. I might try one more time but I’m about to write this place off. Why do people have to change a good thing?

The kolache was warm on the outside and cold on the inside. The sausage inside was overcooked and cold?? How does that even happen? My guess, yesterday's sausage used for today's kolache. They were out of mustard also, which I was told after the fact. She did offer me some ketchup in place though.... 😕 the kolache looks like it was good when it was fresh. Maybe we just caught them on a bad day.

Good donuts. Interesting flavors. I ordered a mocha donut where they put creme filling. I wasn't impressed with the kolache but donuts are the way to go here.

Just got a dozen donuts and tried to eat two different kinds, both were so greasy I had to throw them away! So disappointed, they are usually so good.

The food was wonderful! We live in very, very rural NM so when we have to make a grocery run or something we come to Amarillo. We always try to shop small & try new joints. I am giving two stars because although the breakfast was delicious, the young woman working the drive thru order window was actually hurtful towards us. Like I said, first time here, didn’t know the menu as well as regulars and was treated so poorly for not knowing exactly what the names were of what we wanted. Also, when trying to explain what it was that we wanted but couldn’t remember what the menu called it, the lady rolled her eyes and said “I can’t hear you.”… which is fine. But she literally had an air pod in her ear. Soooo..? That is probably why she couldn’t hear us. Idk. I know everyone has bad days but this was such a bummer because the food was great!

Had to stop in here one morning because donut stop was closed and the lady that was working the window was rude.

I waited for 10 minutes for the store to open at 6 AM and it didn’t disappointed thanks for nothing. Someone else got my money! Won’t come back! Per your response I respectfully waited, didn’t mind, as all the lights were off and no one in sight and it says don’t open till 6! Didn’t sweat the small stuff still got my breakfast just felt this was what reviews were for. I didn’t mind waiting, but for nothing!! I left at 6:05 and then drove back by. Still lights off and dead there. No biggy just sharing! Enjoy your day

I have no idea how this place is rated so highly. We came on Saturday at 11am. Got jalepeno kolaches. They are hard, overcooked to the point of almost black, and served to us room temperature. The meat inside still cold. Worst kolaches I've had in a while. To top it off they are out of mustard. Mustard comes in boxes of thousands... How do you not order another box when you see its like 20 packets left... Do yourself a favor and stay away from the kolaches.

Horrible!! Went there in the morning and they served me COLD donuts, not warm or hot. Also got a few burritos and they asked me if I wanted them warmed up. Really? The burritos also tasted days old. I would not recommend this place to anybody!

I'm sorry but I had to complain. I ordered several items for breakfast. And the one item you can't order anywhere else in Amarllo was "unavailable". I should have cancelled the whole order, and I won't be ordering from them again.
