Slide in for some comfort food. Nostalgic atmosphere with much to admire. Definitely took me down memory lane with players that I haven't seen in awhile. The food was okay. I Googled steak fingers near me and this place came up. Was looking for steak fingers with mashed potatoes and I have found my go to whenever that craving hits. The green beans were bomb, fresh mashed potatoes, (could use a little salt), but overall delicious! Husband had the same dish as me and the kiddos had the corn dog and fries. The service was great. Staff was super friendly and welcoming. They are the reason we will be back.

No senior pricing but their prices are very reasonable. Most items are under $10 and the food it's just good home-cooked comfort food. I've been there a couple times now and had a good meal both times. Beef stew one time and ground steak the other time. The beef stew had fresh vegetables in it, not canned or made from a dry mix. The hamburger was obviously handmade and not some frozen patty they bought from Sam's Club . The mashed potatoes tasted homemade with slight chunks of potato mixed in . I wish they used real butter instead of margarine . I wasn't crazy about the cobbler. I do wish they had breakfast meals. There is a ton of seating and the decorations are cute. The place is very clean.

I ordered the stew and it had one piece of meat in it. The corn bread was extremely dry and hard. I have ordered this before and it was much better. Very disappointing.

My first time to visit and was disappointed. I ordered the Chicken fry with mashed potatoes and corn. Chicken fry was not up to expectations. Everyone is a critic these days but I’m editing my review to give you grace. 1st,. In my opinion, I would start with better quality beef, hand dip in egg (or egg and milk), then seasoned flour, back in the egg (or egg and milk) and back in flour and pan fry without turning too soon so you don’t lose the crust. Then I would always use real potatoes for mashed potatoes. I’m not a Chef by any means but unfortunately I wouldn’t go back unless your quality improves. Good vibes and friendly staff and would like to see you succeed with better reviews.

They forgot our kids meal so we went back around through the drive thru, they had a bit of attitude when we told them what was wrong and we still didn’t get our fries that went with it. We had two burger meals and a kids meal which ended up totaling to $50 which is honestly a bit much for okay food and not the greatest service.

Ordered an Old Fashioned burger, added green chilies cheeseburger and curly fries (no drink). Somehow it came out to $14. Burger size was small but taste was decent. Curly fries were not crispy and unseasoned. Overall, an underwhelming experience.

Usually a good chicken fried steak dinner. Not at their finest today. Chicken fried steak was over cooked and not very hot. The green beans were super salty. The curly fries were hot and fresh as was the okra. It was still early so service was quick and efficient. Pertty friendly service. Placed was well cleaned. The chocolate cream pie and coconut merengue were the best part of they meal. Super creamy and fresh. The crust was baked just right. Loved them.

Over priced mediocre fast food. They are flat out ripping people off. I dont know what happened. I use to love this place growing up. Went today and i ordered 2 kids meals, 2 drinks, steak fingers dinner, and burger and fries, and 2 large drinks. They charged me $50! And the food was greasy and burnt. I paid the money because i use to love this place to i gave a little grace on the price but once i got home i was extremely let down by food quality. I told my wife never again.

We loved the atmosphere and employees were amazing. I didn't recognize what i ordered as catfish. Not sure on how to describe other than processed breaded fried white meat. Mashed potatoes were most likely warmed over and instant. Macaroni and cheese soggy and luke warm. Fried okra was decent. Saw the responses to the other reviews as "Sorry will try to do better next time" when does this start?

Stopped in to get an order and the cashier was so busy eating her food she couldn't even talk with me.. when I asked a menu question she just pointed at the menus board!! First time in probably won't be back I know it's hard to find people

great food just do not order online i did they did not get my order but still took the money out of my bank. called them talked to a manager she told me they use a company for online orders and no one at Home plate dinner can do anything about it she did not know any way she can help me. she said sorry we can not do anything i am out the money with no great food

Disappointed. Spent well over 60 bucks for food that Lukewarm at best, zero flavor, and the wait....well, let's say I could have flown to Saturn and returned and still no food. Overall very expensive for the portion sizes served, people keep on driving down to another place. Bubbas 33 sounds really good right now!
