So me and my partner went to this location today around 1:30 2pm. We order 2 drinks and apon ordering at the drive thru a girl was taking our order. At first she seemed nice but my partner asked to have a flat snow coned not piled on the top and she started laughing at us. I’m not sure if she was laughing at us or her other employees but I thought that was unprofessional. We just brushed it off. The boy that served us was very nice and professional. We got our snow cones and left. I love there coconut snow cones but today something seemed off. It tasted like as if there was cleaning chemicals in the drink. Maybe they forgot to rinse the blender the use or I’m not sure but we could definitely taste cleaner in our snow cones. We visited there 2 weeks before this and could smell that cleaner as we walked in the room hence why I knew it was cleaner. So we thought nothing of it until we got home. We fell so ill with a sore stomach and spewing. This happened around 5pm. We hadn’t had anything else to eat or drink that day as my husband works nights and we wake up around mid day. I wished that there were older people there to supervise or train the teenagers that are always there or I’m hoping they have struck regulations when it comes to handling cleaning chemicals in there work place as this was a huge shame. We are not satisfied this time with the visit and probly won’t be going back there. Such a shame as there drinks are amazing.

Place looked closed upon walking in, had a bad stale dirty mop water smell. Snow was already half melted and when requesting flat top wasn’t given the correct size.

Edited to add: after having a gross experience, I looked up their health reports and they haven’t been in compliance with proper sewage disposal, food storage, or cleanliness since at least 2022, which means they are aware and don’t care. AVOID. We used to always stop here on our way through Amarillo. This time we went inside and immediately got hit with the smell of sewage. Everything was filthy — beyond a typical drive thru — but the smell was so bad. I figured maybe it was a new problem, but I see reviews here going back for months reporting the same issue. Our snow cones tasted like the lines had not been cleaned for ever — mildewy and gross. I don’t know how this place hasn’t been shut down. Y’all know this isn’t sanitary or healthy. Close and fix your issues instead of making your customers sick! You can’t run a snow cone stand until your doodoo issues are solved.

Got in line at 9:47. 5 were cars ahead of us. The open light was on and bright. Got right up to the order menu and a girl walked out at 10:10 and said sorry we are closed. I said i have been in line for over 20 minutes. Her reply was “Sorry we didn’t see you.” They refused to take our order and literally laughed us about it. Worst service ever.

This used to be a great location, we’d go almost every weekend! These past few visits have been not so bueno, they always mess up our order and it’s just never right. The wait time is not worth it anymore. Tonight we ordered 2 sour patch kids blue raspberry with extra sour sand, they forget the sour patch sauce, there was no sour sand, and absolutely no flavor at all. Once you get to the middle it’s a more concentrated blue color but still just tastes like nothing but regular ole ice, now I feel stupid for spending $6 for a cup of regular flavorless shaved ice🤣 next time we’re in the mood for Bahama bucks we will definitely be trying the other location, most likely will not be returning to this one unfortunately. We did say something about our order being wrong at the window to which the girl stood there and said “uhhhhh” we weren’t in the mood to wait another 20 minutes with the line already wrapped around the building for another order to be potentially wrong again so we just called it a night and left!

Terrible service! We stood at the counter for several minutes before anyone came to take our order. The girls already making snow cones didn’t even acknowledge our presence. When we first came in, it was dead. No one was inside, except one other woman. When a girl came from the back to take the order, she was rude. As though she was being inconvenienced. The last sno cone ordered was Pina coloda. We waited over 15 minutes for the sno cones to get ready and we didn’t get the pina coloda. When asked about it, we were told “we’re out and i never heard that.” I was with 5 other people who heard me order it. Aside from this, the place smells awful! Like dirty shoes or something…. The sno cones were sloppy, we didn’t receive our sonic spoons for the sonic sno cones, and it was altogether bad experience. I won’t be back!

Ordered a snow cone. Small is $9 🤦🏻‍♀️ so that already was insane. Then the wait was 33 minutes. For two cars including mine. After she handed the snow cone to me. It immediately overfilled from the sides and spilled everywhere. Had to throw the solid block of ice syrup volcano out the window. But by then the damage was already done... It got all over my cupholders, phone, and pants. Currently cleaning out everything and washing my clothes 😐

Store so dirty inside makes you wonder how often they clean equipment. Snow cones tasted fine. Holes in ceiling with wires hanging out. Cracked tile, not very well kept inside at all.lost my order waited 20 minutes and finally asked where it was they have no idea.

So disappointed with my visit to Bahama bucks today. My family and I came for a little treat after Father’s Day fun and this is what we received when we asked for the piccadilly mixed with the mangonada. Originally the pickles are supposed to be chopped up and throughout the entire snowcone. However it looks like the staff got lazy and charged $2 just to put full size pickles on top of a snow cone, sad.

Yikes at this location: unprofessional. So There was no line...we were behind 1 car. For some reason the girls working there decided to do photos for online promotion I guess. I kid you not, one of the ladies crawls out of the drive thru window to take photos and laugh it up with the car ahead of us...my brother and I waited for 15 minutes while these kids working the window lollygagged...I get up to the front, and I'm like in disbelief...they are STILL playing around. I get up to pay and I'm annoyed at this point. I asked why they think this is professional...when we, leave the line is out to the street...and why they selected the busiest time to play around like this I'll never know. I'm going to the western location. Never play with a customers time because that's YALLS money SMH.
