Delicious Latin food! My wife and I were looking for something different than the usual Mexican fare that the area is known for. We stumbled upon Flamingo's and saw that had dishes that my wife hasn't had since she was a kid living in Florida. TOSTONES w/MOJO: Mashed and fried plantains. My wife's favorite appetizer that she had a lot of in her Cuban family. The Mojo was a nice mixture of garlic, onion, and vinegar MOFONGO with Skirt Steak: a Puerto Rican Green Plantain Mash.The meat was cooked perfectly and the plantain mixture had a ton of flavor. TAJADAS with Skirt Steak: Honduran Fried Green Banana which were nice and crispy! Again the skirt streak was perfect... Restaurants tend to under-flavor overcook skirt streak, but this was some of the best! MOJITO: Refreshing and delicious! Didn't taste too strong of alcohol but had great lime and mint flavor with a ring of lime & sugar in the rim. Everything came with chips and salsa which tasted very fresh. And the portions are really good! We'll definitely be back to try more. Especially the dessert!

Amazing food! Great Prices! Great Service! All of our food was good and our server, Israel was awesome! We ordered some birria tacos, a shrimp and cheese stuffed panoramic pepper, and mofongo with fried chicken. The monfongo and fried chicken is one of the best plates of food I’ve ever had. Definitely will be coming back for more!

Don’t walk, RUN to Flamingos!!!! I’m one for trying new things and small independent restaurants. Saying I was impressed is an understatement!!! From Mexican to Puerto Rican and Moroccan. They absolutely blew us away! My amazing hair dresser Nancy Perez is the daughter of the owners and also bartended the night we went. She’s a rockstar! She explained everything on the menu and answered any questions we had! I was craving birria tacos which we got and they were stunning! She also recommended the Caribbean style ceviche with fish and we had the seafood moqueca! I’m telling you, my husband and I could not stop raving about how good EVERYTHING was!!! Sorry for not getting the birria tacos captured but if you’re down to try some authentic food, try this place immediately!!!

I had a great experience, me and my wife went to get something for her only. I end up buying food and drinks for the two of us. Reasonable prices and great hospitality. I'm gonna definitely go again. The owner was world class for sure. This was also me and my Wife first time out in Amarillo since moving out here from California and what a great way to spend quality time out. Amazing! Great service, great chips and salsa, queso is good as well. Husband and I got the Birria tacos with cheese, 10/10!!! They were the best we have had ever. Juicy and cheesy, ugh just delicious. My son got the fish tacos and he could only eat one since they are so full of fish. He said they were very good. Definitely will be a new favorite!

The staff are amazing at this restaurant. They are all nice and helpful. It's cute on the inside. Very clean and decorated nicely. It is also BYOB right now. The food is delicious! The chips & salsa were some of the best I have eaten. The loaded cheese dip was a white queso with picadillo & pico de gallo. The posole bowl was huge and full of great spices. It comes with limes, cabbage, cilantro & onions on the side as well as a smokey sauce that was delicious. The birria tacos were the best I have ever tasted. Stuffed with melt in your mouth brisket and cheese & toasted cheese on top. The birria sauce to dip it in was full of spices and flavored perfectly. It also comes with a side of beans & rice. The melon agua fresca was refreshing and not too sweet. We cannot wait to go back.

First the chips and salsa were great. Salsa had good flavor and a nice kick. We couldn't decide what to get so we got a little bit of everything. macho Nachos were excellent, a little light on toppings, but the flavor made up for it. The queso fresco was a nice touch. For entrees we got three to share. The chicken flautas, burria tacos and baja ceviche. The flautas were a little dry, but again great flavor. The tacos were fantastic, juicy and delicious. The ceviche was the star of the meal, light and fresh. It was a little weird that it was served with crackers, would have been better with chips, but we just asked for extra chips so no big deal. For dessert, again we couldn't decide so we got the fried plantains and flan. Both were excellent. Service was quick and timed well. We will definitely be back, there are a lot of other things on the menu that we want to try.

Came here for the first time and I was not disappointed. The service was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. It's a great place to bring the family or friends and they can handle large groups as well. They do have a bar also and flat-screen tv's everywhere. The price was very affordable. We will definitely be back again.

Chips and salsa, salsa was great I feel the chips where to thick but taste was good. Had the ground beef enchilada plate. The red sauce was very tasty, ground beef & tortilla was ok didn't care for I think was a dry seasoning used. Tasted the shredded beef grilled cheese tacos, had a nice crunch, I feel the beef could've had a little seasoning on it. The beans &rice where on point. The atmosphere was clean, nice music spacious eating Area felt very comfortable and the staff was nice and accommodating.

Great service, clean and good atmosphere. The drinks were really good. We had piña colada and a mojito. Even they add lime juice to the piña colada still taste good. The downside was that ceviche it was to spicy, tostones and mofongo to greasy.

Went last Friday... was pretty empty... waited 20ish minutes for our drinks. And over an hour for our food. By the time 2 plates came out my enchiladas weren't even hot. We sent the two plates back and asked for the check. Cook came out and apologized said he was training a new guy. I could understand that but the two tables that came in way after us... got their food first?? Idk my first experience there. I won't be back.
