Excellent food and the chef is extremely kind and helpful with food recommendations. Everything we ate was spectacular. Best Indian food I've had ever
Food is delicious and super flavorful. Every dish seems like it’s made personally for you. Don’t wait, go treats your tastebuds now!
Tried their Fish Curry ( Tilapia). I was really good. Homestyle cooked food. 100% recommend
Roni, the Chef, of Flavors of India charismatic and gifted culinary artist! So glad we stopped today to taste the flavors of India. Our waiter was so kind, and prompt as well!
The food was delicious I have tried the mutton curry which was flavored full and awesome. The Staff service is excellent and the restaurant owners are very friendly which makes place more comfortable. I will definitely suggest people to visit this place.
A soothing, lovely ambiance to rest your soul-delicious food perfectly seasoned and beautifully presented. The service is excellent. We left well fed and refreshed in body and soul. Thank you
The best Indian food this side of India. Very friendly and knowledgeable head chef.
The food was wonderful, the wait was very attentive! We received personal recommendations from the chef based on our likes and tastes. The service was fast, and the naan was specially good!!!
One of the most authentic INDIAN restaurants in this area I have tried other restaurants but the food here has my home country touch..... Proper spices Properly cooked Most important authentic taste and reasonable prices and friendly services
Thank you Flavors of India for delivering the food in the most important time . The food certainly reminds you of home .May God bless you with resilience, prosperity , wealth and spreading happiness and you really helped us in the need of the hour . The food is very tasty . Thanks always
Wonderful place… Delicious food, you can customize your spice level as per taste. The best food place close to Hwy 287 in Amarillo Texas.
The best authentic Indian food in town. In fact one of the best in the entire country.
The owner is charming and an amazing chef! Just the right amount of spice, and incredible flavor! Will definitely be back!
5 stars!! No exaggeration. Best Indian flavor I’ve ever had.
The food was surprisingly good and authentic. The spiciness was indian . Its the better than other Indian cuisines in amarillo which have more ratings Chef was kind and polite
The owner/chef, Ronnie, was so kind and funny. He definitely made the experience wonderful. It’s not often you have restaurant owners that love their customers and love what they do. The Food was just as good, my wife’s first time eating Indian and she loved it! Thank you !
Flavors of India was the best food I’ve had at an Indian restaurant by a LONG shot!! They were so friendly, happy to answer questions, and the food was delicious (spicy, but I requested that)! The chai was so yummy, along with the spinach curry, naan, samosas, and chicken dish thingy I got… it was such a great time! Everything was affordable and I was so pleased overall. I will definitely be going back!!
We were at a hotel across the street. 9:26pm. Flavors of India closes at 9:30! We paced over and walked into a house of loving hospitality. The staff insisted it was ok to take a table, despite the hour. The chef came out and personally helped us find dishes that we would love and match our dietary restrictions. (Gluten free for me and vegetarian for her) The food was amazing! We will return when we pass through Amarillo again.
Wonderful food, Chef will come and help you understand these flavorful dishes. Been several times.
Great service from everyone and great veg tikki masala and mango lassi. Thank you for the wonderful young man that took care of us during lunch today. So kind!
Ordered the butter chicken, rice, and garlic naan. Was absolutely delicious thank you all! Would highly recommend stopping to try this place out!
Traveling through Amarillo, I stopped at Flavors of India-- Ronnie was not only friendly but very serious about making recommendations and explaining the flavors and contrasts of the food, and the natural spices he uses. I loved the chicken curry and samosa, but more than this the care that Ronnie took. Definitely drop by Flavors of India!
The food is exquisite. The butter chicken is seasoned to perfection, and pairing it with their garlic naan makes it even better. Their coffee was the first Indian style coffee I’ve had, and I don’t think I’ll be able to drink starbuck’s ever again. Ronnie provided excellent service and was very cool and relatable, and offered solid words of advice. Next time I come to Amarillo, and every time after, I’ll make it a point to stop by Flavors of India.
All restaurants say they are Authentic Indian but this one truly is. Pure Indian taste. I will visit again when I next time pass through Amarillo. Cant miss it. Sept 4th 2025. Was here again today. Truly amazed with the quality of food. Feels like home. This was not my 2nd visit though. Had many visits here as I am a trucker and this is my almost regular route. Highly recommended place to eat.
This Indian restaurant is amazing! It’s located in the old building Braceros on Paramount was. The samosas, chicken tiki masala, and mango lassi were all amazing. Chef Ronny came out to give us recommendations and was so pleasant to visit with. He even gave us pieces of jaggery, which niether my mother or I knew what that was. Great learning experience for us and a great dining experience. I highly recommend eating here if you’re in the mood for Indian food in Amarillo, TX.
Authentic! The dish is truly authentic, and the tikka masala with paneer tastes wonderful. The flavors are so well-balanced, it's a delightful experience. We had the pleasure of meeting the chef, who has a remarkable talent for seasoning. The food was exceptional, creating a perfect culinary experience. We look forward to the possibility of returning.
The food was so good and the atmosphere is very nice! The owner is so nice and made us feel like we were right at home! Will love to try this place again :)
Great food and great service especially! The owner/chef is very friendly and truly cares about the experience! We visited from Dallas, and I can truly say this place has better taste than 90% in dfw area and 100% better service than anywhere in Dallas. Will definitely recommend to stop by if you’re passing through Amarillo by i40 or staying.
WOW!!!!! What an excellent experience we had! Ronni gave us such excellent recommendations! The Delhi style butter chicken and Paneer Tikka Masala were outstanding! The naan was soft, fluffy and delicious. Excellent service. So attentive. Thank you! My only suggestion is to serve more rice (which was perfectly cooked) with the portions. Rice is inexpensive and serving enough of it is an easy way to keep customers happy! Well done, friends! Thank you for a fantastic meal! We look forward to coming and experiencing all the flavors!
My family and I went to try it out. We had such a fun visit. It’s not fast food; it’s an experience and we enjoyed every minute of it. I’m pretty sure my husband ate his weight in Vindaloo. I’m stoked to take my left overs to work for lunch tomorrow. I had Methi Malai with Chicken and it was fantastic. The meat in everything we ordered was so tender and not at all dry. They are a new business working their tails off. Show some grace and patience while they get on their feet. You won’t be sorry. We are excited to go back and try something else!
15/10 stars if we could!! Parminder is such a great guy and his knowledge of the foods history is so amazing. we love to hear what he has to share. You’ll never find another man so passionate about his culinary art and he is incredible! The paneer jalfreezi and dehli style butter chicken were both so savory and full of flavor unlike any other Indian joint in town. The chai was delicious and fragrant. The seasoning on the veggie pakora was so good we had to ask what was in it. Everything is cooked fresh and from scratch too! I noticed some reviews about the rice being bland but if you got plain white rice you need to try the other rices! They are so damn good! Thank you for the wonderful experience and we can’t wait to come back and visit you!
Went for dinner here with a group of my friends and had a fantastic meal. The service was top notch and made us all feel welcomed and at home. I was going to order the Paneer Vindaloo but was told to try the Paneer Jalfrezi and it was phenomenal. I also ordered a lassi and had our waiter make it the way he likes his and it was amazing as well. Not super sweet and very refreshing the perfect mix of flavors. I can’t wait to come back again with my friends and try more of what they have!
The food was fresh and amazing! Very tasty and felt very authentic but also good for people who want to have all the flavors without the food being too spicy. Excellent service with very attentive staff.
Awesome food! Loved the interaction and get to know the food and culture at the same time! We would love to visit again. If you go to Colorado which we do every year we will definitely stop by again! Thank you Rony Bhaisahab for your hospitality!!
Amazing food, great service. Fresh food served with great taste. Will definitely recommend folks who stop at Amarillo .
We had a date night here and were blown away. The restaurant was very clean and the service was amazing! The owner came out and spoke to us several times and he made us feel very welcomed there. We tried the samosas, garlic naan, butter chicken and vindaloo chicken. The flavors were like a symphony in our mouths! The restaurant became an instant favorite for us.
The food is phenomenal! Absolutely the best chicken biryani I've ever had. Fresh, bright & delicious flavors throughout. My husband had the lamb vindaloo & he loved it as well. The portion sizes are just right & the entire experience is wonderful. The service is great & the chef is super personable. Give it a try you won't be disappointed. We can't wait to go back.
Unbelievably good food. The flavor was incredible. The head chef personally consulted with us about our food and helped tailor the taste to our liking. Friendly staff and good prices. I'll be coming back.
Unexpectedly amazing Indian food in Amarillo of all places. The owner and chef went out of his way to make our experience special, recommending dishes, sharing flavor profiles and highlights from his recipes and even giving us tips on how best to enjoy desert (gulab jamun) with chai. Highly recommended, will absolutely be stopping here next chance we get.
Chef Roni So friendly food was fresh and amazing flavors. The lamb chops were so tender and juicy. The lentil soup and sauces delicious 😋
My experience at Flavors of India today was outstanding! The food was delicious and the service was attentive and courteous. They have awesome hospitality. That garlic naan is to die for! We tried the Curry Shrimp, Tikka Masala and the Kadhai. 10/10 for all 3 dishes, I definitely recommend giving it a try!
Flavors of India is PHENOMENAL . We were so impressed with the cleanliness of the restaurant, the service , and the attentive owner ! It’s hands down our new favorite Indian in town . Everything was so fresh , flavorful and you could taste the quality in the ingredients . Husband had the Goat curry , I had the paneer mattar both were excellent. Samosa and naan were the best we’ve had .
I've never been to an Indian restaurant where the food was so good, I gorged myself and was absolutely stuffed by the time I walked out. My only regret was not having room for dessert. The flavors in the food were outstanding. The range of flavors were phenomenal and you can tell each dish is unique. I've been to other restaurants where it tastes like all the food is made together or similarly, but this is not the case here. We ordered several platters and those were great samplers of multiple food types. I highly recommend that to people who are new to the experience or Indian food in general. We had a group of seven and we were seated in the larger room to the side, which worked well. We have several friends from Southern India and we're used to their style but this is clearly Northern food and not as spicy. It's a great latent spice and really good. Service was great - several of the people there are family members and it shows. They even went so far as to tell us the history of some of the dishes and how everything is made. I really liked it and they went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We don't come to Amarillo very often but I'm going to have to put this on my list for places to visit. I'm writing this and salivating as I think about the tandoor chicken wings and mango lassi. Oof and the naan and the kebab were spot on. I could eat the garlic naan all day. This is definitely one of those authentic restaurants I want to see become very successful.
Flavors of India is an absolute gem! The restaurant is impressively clean and well-maintained, especially for an older building, which immediately gave me a great first impression. I ordered the Lamb Tawa (Bhuna), and it was nothing short of perfect. The dish was bursting with layers of rich, authentic flavor, truly some of the best Indian cuisine I’ve ever had. The chef clearly has a passion for cooking and came by my table personally to make sure everything was to my liking, which made the experience feel even more special. The service was equally outstanding. My waiter was incredibly attentive, never letting my drink go empty and making sure everything was just right throughout the meal. Flavors of India delivers authentic Indian dishes prepared with skill and care, and I can’t wait to return to explore more of their menu. A solid 5 out of 5 stars!
We recently visited this restaurant. The food is outstanding and service is great. The owner greets each customer with great enthusiasm and suggest's dishes. Must try place for people who love Indian food.
Hands down the best Indian food I’ve had! Every dish I have tried is wonderful. The owner is very personable and starts a conversation with every table. He is very proud of his dishes and rightfully so! The service is excellent and the restaurant is very clean. This is the only Indian restaurant in Amarillo I will be visiting from here on out!
Amazingly delicious! Do not miss out on this new spot. I will be coming back many times to try everything! The naan is perfect, the vindaloo is spicy and warming, the mutter paneer was spiced perfectly. Dont miss out on the chai or the samosa either! And the owner and staff are some of the nicest and gracious people. Thank you all for a wonderful meal.
We were starving so forgot to take pictures but the food and service was extraordinary! The chef came out and we had a good chat! The flavors were really really good! The server and the chef really touched our hearts with the service. They offered free rice pudding at the end too! HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you want authentic flavors.
If you ever ate at Spice and Saga downtown and wondered what happened to them, they moved and are now called Flavors of India. This place is fantastic and if you like Indian cuisine, I would recommend it any day over Punjabi Affair and Indian Oven. I tried their butter chicken and naan, both were delicious. The only downside is the price, they're rather pricey, but I would say it's worth it for an exquisite meal.
Very clean building, VERY GOOD SERVICE!!! The deli style butter chicken has immaculate flavor, I ordered roti nann but I wish I had got the onion. The chef is very knowledgeable and professional. Will definitely be coming back!
Its our only go-to place everytime we travel via Amarillo. Chef is very friendly and personally welcomes and explains about his menu. Classic indian yummy food. Soft goat and traditional gravies. Great hospitality from everyone in the restaurant.
Really good food!!. Best in town is CORRECT! Ronnie is a great guy and a great chef who goes above and beyond to make his customers feel at home and taken care of. Definitely telling friends and family to come here AND coming back for my free rice pudding 🔥🔥
im burmese so when i hear theres a new indian restaurant im always down to go try it. let me tell you it was GOOD. chicken samosa? 10/10. goat biryani? 10/10. garlic naan? 10/10. chai tea? 10/10. idk if it was the owner or head chef he made this like spicy habanero sauce, and i ate it with my goat biryani, that was a 10/10. i recommend this place to anyone who’s willing to try indian food :) i will be coming back.
My family had a wonderful meal Christmas night. The flavors were fantastic with every dish we ordered and I’m so happy we stumbled upon this restaurant instead of going to a chain. We travel from Dallas to Colorado often and Amarillo is always the halfway mark, it’s exciting to know we have a place we want to eat at now!
We loved the piquant and delicious food. Everything was super tasty especially chicken manchurian. They made special tea for us like how we wanted. Their hospitality made our day. Thank you So much for giving us a yummy memory❤️❣️
We had chicken samosa, paneer saag, lamb biryani, garlic naan. Everything was delicious, the samosa and biryani especially. We added the mango habanero sauce on the side and it was some of the hottest I've had, but delicious. Use drops not dollops.
Absolutely amazing experience. The food was by far the best we’ve had in Amarillo. If you are looking for the best Indian food in town, this is a must have. Parminder is an amazing chef, and the staff (Rakesh) is wonderful! Will absolutely comeback here again!
If you like Indian food, you definitely have to try this place out. Their food is really good. The food is not over spicy, but it has a lot of good spice to it. I got the chicken jalfrezi. There were three of us that went, and I tried all three of the sauces. They were all really good. It’s a quaint little place that you’ll almost miss if you blink. I definitely recommend trying this place out.
Flavors of INDIA is the authentic North Indian food restaurant, the service is amazing too. Must try delhi style butter chicken with onion kulcha and lachha paratha, it was awesome, I bet, they makes best butter chicken in the US. The food will remember you the real taste of INDIA. Thanks to owner for such nice treatment, we will meet again soon.
Found a new favorite Indian spot! You will not be disappointed. The garlic naan was amazing done right crisp and soft lots of garlic flavor , had the vegetables Samosa absolutely delicious.Next, we had the classic butter chicken made with the tandoori chicken bone style fantastic flavor. The second dish we had was the chicken korma absolutely mind blowing with the almond flavor and the spices hit just right. If you want authentic Indian food done right come to this place it’s new and it’s where the old Braceros used to be on Paramount. Be mindful everything is made fresh so just be patient but damn you’ll be rewarded.
Moving to the U.S. was hard at first because I missed the chai I used to love back in UAE, but Flavors of India truly filled that craving. Their chai was so comforting and authentic, and the naan was absolutely outstanding! Everything tasted fresh and delicious. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and very helpful, which made the experience even better. We will definitely be coming back to try more dishes. Highly recommend! BEST CHAI!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Ive been to a couple of Indian restos in town and this is by far the most authentic, in taste and also the Indian chef came out to explain the dish briefly so you know there was love in making the food. Highly recommend the lamb tikka masala with plain naan bread. Will surely be back!
Upon entering the establishment, the dining tables were all clean from what I could tell and the silverware and glasses were set neatly. I ordered an order of Butter Chicken, and Garlic Naan, it took approximately 5 minutes or so to arrive to the table. Tasting the Butter chicken, it did have some spiciness to it, which is good but should be a little more mild. I don't mind the spiciness since I eat Indian food all the time to get more used to it for my partners culture/religion. The Garlic naan, was a little thin, which is normal but should have maybe a little more thickness to it in my opinion. Unfortunately I did not order some tea like I wanted but I will next time. The chef also came out and greeted himself and asked how everything was. He was also helping other people who have never had indian food, help them with some decisions. This place gets a 5/5 for me, the food is excellent, the server was very polite and did not rush me into any decisions. I will return another day.
One of the best Indian restaurant in Amarillo. The menu options are really good, specially the veg ones - paneer tikka masala and dal. The deserts are also great. We liked the restaurant dine in environmement, they have lot of space inside. The staff is very humble and polite. We came here with small kids and they enjoyed the lunch here. Highly recommend to visit and try this out.
Went to Flavors of India with a couple friends and had a wonderful experience. We had samosas, kadai paneer, and a few other vegetarian dishes recommended by the chef who was very friendly. Everything was delicious and obviously made fresh. Would 100% return again.
Good atmosphere and Authentic indian food with perfect indian spices. Chef roni what can i say for you no words to describe how amazing was your food. delightful
The food here is absolutely delicious! The garlic naan is by far the best naan I’ve ever had. The korma paneer is so flavorful and truly spectacular. We love the butter chicken and tikka masala as well. Oh, and coconut curry, they nail it all! The samosas are delicious - the veggie by far being the best!! PSA - do not think these photos are their presentation. I never remember to take photos before we start digging in, lol.
Everything was amazing! Shout out to the chef! We got the butter chicken, coconut chicken, and samosas. We will be back soon to try new items!
This place is a hidden gem!! My hubby and I are picky, we can taste the quality of food. And let me tell you, this place is AUTHENTIC & did not disappoint. We ordered the Vegi Samosa for an appetizer which we tore up! It was so good! And for our main entrees the Tikka masala and butter chicken along with Garlic Naan. IT WAS ALL absolutely AMAZING! What made everything even better was the cook coming out himself and thanking us for coming. He was also explaining how he made these dishes from scratch, and gave me a sample of his special mango habanero sauce that was like nothing I’ve ever tasted before. He uses actual mangos and habanero. A huge fan of this place now! I highly recommend you give this place a try!! It’s not like the other Indian places here, they have their own flair! Oh yeah! & their water was great!! If you are a picky water drinker, you know what I mean!
We went to eat at Flavors of India and had THE best experience. Samosas for appetizers, butter chicken & tikka masala for our entrees, and we split a mango Lassi for dessert. Everything was delicious, but what really made our experience was the absolutely SUPERB customer service. We will be visiting again very soon. If you like Indian food, we highly suggest this place!

I tried the tandoori whole fish and the Delhi-style butter chicken — both were really good. Just a heads-up: the tandoori fish needs to be ordered a day in advance since it takes longer to marinate. Totally worth the wait though.
Highly recommend this restaurant. We ordered dal fry (requested it spicy while ordering), butter garlic paneer, and garlic naan. Both the dal and the butter garlic paneer were superb—rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The garlic naan was also well done. This place is definitely a must-visit. I haven’t tried the other Indian restaurant located right next to it, but Flavors of India was excellent when it comes to taste and quality of food.
I ordered from Flavor of India, and although the preparation took about one hour, the wait was worth it. The food was rich in flavor, well balanced, and clearly prepared with care. I have eaten Indian food many times in India, and while I am not Indian, I am familiar with what authentic Indian cuisine tastes like. This meal met that standard. The spices were well layered, not overpowering, and the dishes tasted genuinely traditional. I would gladly order again. Thank you 🙂
If you’re looking for your new favorite Indian restaurant this is it! We had the chicken biryani, lamb curry, coconut curry, tandoori chicken, and pakora. Each dish was exceptional and expertly seasoned. The chef/owner even came out and told us what to order and gave personal suggestions based on allergies. The food came out quickly, and the staff was so kind. The owner even told us he would teach us how to cook the dishes if we wanted to learn! Such a genuine guy running an awesome restaurant. For sure give it a try!
Really loved the garlic butter chicken and rice. The chai is very unique and I recommend it, as well as their rice pudding for dessert. I would also recommend the samosa's for an appetizer and Tikka Masala for those who want a slight kick but not too spicy. I love the spices the chef Ronnie uses, they are very distinct and different compared with other Indian places I've been too. I would say its the best Indian food place in Amarillo, go try it you won't be sorry.
We ordered the tikka masala lamb and the kadai chicken, the food was delicious and the service was great. Very kind staff and very clean environment. We also had the rice pudding and we loved it! Lovely experience, we definitely recommend!
We stopped at Flavor of India on our way to Dallas and absolutely loved the food! We ordered samosas, kadai paneer, and laccha paratha — everything was incredibly delicious and full of authentic Punjabi flavor. The aroma itself made us forget to take pictures! It truly felt like eating in India. The owner was also very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend this place if you’re craving real Indian food! 🇮🇳✨
This place is AMAZING!! I have been a couple times now and it is always fantastic! The food is amazing. I had the butter lamb and my husband got the curry. You are able to request the spice level you like which is great for my husband and I who are on opposite ends of the spicy scale! The people there are so friendly and helpful. I have never felt so welcome at a restaurant! It was my birthday the first time I went and they gave me cheesecake and played a song it made it feel very special! Definitely one of the best places in town!

My husband and I stopped at Flavors of India on the way home from Colorado, and I am glad we did. The service was great. The waiter made sure our water stayed full. The owner/chef stopped by our table several times to check on us and make recommendations. They served us papadum while we waited for our meal. It was nice and crispy. The tomato soup was aMAZing! The freshly made vegetable samosas had the right amount of filling. Upon the chef's recommendation, we had the lamb curry. It had great flavor. Adding the butter naan made it a very satisfying meal. Another thing that makes this place a gem is how they make everyone feel special. While we were there, a young girl of 9 or 10 came to her favorite place for her birthday meal. They celebrated her by bringing her a birthday dessert and playing the Happy Birthday song. I totally recommend that you stop by and support this local restaurant. I know I will next time I come through Amarillo.
I thought the food was absolutely delicious. The chef himself came out and recommended the three of us try three different dishes so we could explore the menu a little bit. He did not steer us wrong: I had the chicken Jalfrezi, and my two companions had chicken tikka marsala And the Dheli style- butter chicken. All 3 delicious! The waiter is new but is learning; For instance, he didn’t ask If we wanted something besides water to drink, but he was very quick to keep our water refilled. My friend ordered samosas, Which were also delicious; but he didn’t recommend to increase our order from 2 to 3 so we could all have one. The chef fixed us up with a third though! The Naan was yummy as well . So far the printed menu is pretty basic: There are no descriptions of the food items; and I’m fairly new to Indian food so I had to Google a lot of dishes. I hope this changes in the future. They’ve done a decent job with the inside of the old Braceros and the table place settings look nice. When we first walked in, I could only hear some chanting music coming from a corner of the restaurant, but they finally turned on some pleasant Indian music. The prices were great Especially for the delicious food. I will definitely return and get the chefs recommendation for three more dishes that I haven’t yet tried. I’m sad. I didn’t take any photos before we started digging in, next time!
The lamb was tender and both the garlic and cheese naan were awedome. Yay! It was also swimming in the most off color, greasy and bland masala sauce that I have ever had. When asked for the meal to be extra spicy, they brought me something akin to miracle whip on the heat scale.
The food was okay. Definitely not the best in town. The butter chicken was more of a sweet flavor. Too sweet for my liking. The portion size was not that big at all for spending about $17 and getting mainly sauce. I was very disappointed that you only got a small bowl of rice about 1 cup worth for your whole table. If I’m spending that much money on my meal I think each person should get their own rice. It was definitely not enough rice and then you have to pay extra (approx $5-6) for more rice just to have rice for your meal. The naan bread is another charge on top of that as well. I will definitely be choosing elsewhere in the future. The price and amount of food was definitely not worth it for me.
Are you kidding me! I’ve ordered two items worth over 20$ for a total of over 50$ and I get two kid sizes amount of food. What have to world gone to what happened to giving when you are trying to support their business instead they try to rip you off!
I LOVE Indian food, unfortunately right after eating I caught a WICKED case of food poisoning. I’ve been terribly sick all day. They seem promising , so hopefully they ramp up their food handling procedures.
If you want to have diarrhea or belly pain, please feel free to have Biriwani there. Even for take out, they will tell 30 mins but will give in an hour. Sleepless night due to belly pain guaranteed. Spice level is too high. Digestive system is bound to take a reboot. I had taken Biriwani yesterday and still recovering from it. I am not writing this review to tarnish anyone reputation with claims about food safety due to a service wait time on Christmas rush. I have written more than 130 reviews so far and most of them were genuine and good. We were total 8 members who all have fallen sick and have the same symptoms and had the same Biriwani.
We stopped on the way during a road trip and picked up Chicken Biriyani from here and the food taste was very bad and tangy. All of us who had that Biriyani in our group, had severe stomach upset that night. We do not recommend this restaurant at all
What should a restaurant actually have? “Good food.” This place lacks that. I ordered chicken biryani, and it was just plain white rice with boiled chicken on top. Even the quantity was too little—and I’m not exaggerating. The food didn’t even contain salt, which is the most basic requirement.
If you love Indian food then the Flavor of India is your place to taste EXCEPTIONAL ! NO buffets food that has been sitting around for hours or recycled from the days before. The food is fresh and beautifully served up. By the way the best Tandori chicken! NOT SURE WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO THIS RESTAURANT, BUT 3 MONTHS AGO IT WAS VERY GOOD WE WENT TODAY AND IT WAS HORRIBLE. SO SAD. DON'T GO UNLESS OWNER IS IN THE KITCHEN.
The cook was condescending & rude. Our server was taking our order & costumizing it according to our taste & allergic status. The cook came in between & interrupted the server & asked our name. He asked our names, assumed us indian & started talking in Hindi very rudely..We were inquiring about tea & the options that we have for tea (one of my friends is lactose intolerance). He starting mocking us for not knowing tea. Very rude & condescending way.... I wish He had as decent behavior as his cooking.... We Will never return to this eatery....I feel sorry for the server too that he gets underestimated at his job..
I went into the restaurant at the recommendation of my motel staff. It was around 7:30p.m. and the only person in the restaurant was the waiter. I Tried to ask him questions about the menu however, he was very rude and unhelpful. I understand why the place was empty. In the end d I walked out without eating.
