It was our mother's 96th birthday and the service was amazing! The staff at Red Lobster went above and beyond to celebrate her with us! Including white tablecloths, ice cream desert, and singing happy birthday! Travis was an excellent waiter and very attentive even with such a big crowd!! Thank you Travis and thank you Red Lobster Amarillo, TX!

I’ve had ups and downs at this restaurant, but this visit was A++ Our server was attentive and helpful, and our food was delicious! My combo plate had shrimp scampi, fried shrimp, scallops, and lobster tail. Delicious and buttery! They also have happy hour from 11-6 M-F with discount plates and drinks.

We were greeted as soon as we walked in. Food was great.! The manager Robert came by our table a few times throughout the meal to make sure everything was as expected. Our server Desi did a great job. All staff was friendly and courteous. Thanks for the experience! Will definitely be back.

On Monday, we arrived at 3 PM and were warmly welcomed by our server, who was an exceptional host. She was courteous and attentive without being intrusive, ensuring our experience was delightful. For instance, she promptly refilled our biscuit basket with warm, fluffy biscuits and checked in just enough to make sure all was well. She served as our mixologist, making exceptional drinks from the bar as well. Our appetizer arrived swiftly, followed by our main course, all delivered with a genuine smile. Her thoughtful service made the meal truly enjoyable.

Micah is a great great server! Always on top of things. My boyfriend and I had chicken Alfredo. She suggested adding Cajun seasoning and it was superb! Our drinks were never empty. She made our trip worth it!

Grilled shrimp was good, broccoli was a very light serving but of course the Cheddar Bay Biscuits were the best! Our poor waiter was serving 2 sections of tables with 6-8 tables occupied with 4 or more guests. To say the least he was having timing issues because of the load he was carrying. Thankful we were not on a schedule and enjoyed our conversations during the lag time. Suggest Management reevaluate options so as not to lose the staff they have that are good servers.

Since moving to East Texas in a small community nearly 5 years ago - it has been awhile for us to have visited a Red Lobster. We didn’t have any wait time to be seated and Micah, our waitress was polite, attentive and efficient. We enjoyed our food as well!

The seafood may be okay, but do not order a $14.99 bacon cheeseburger from this restaurant. It was the driest, most over-cooked burger that I have had in the last ten years. The coleslaw was good, but it certainly didn't make this a decent $14.99 bacon cheeseburger meal.

Thank You for cleaning up the place. I havent been to a Red Lobster in a few years. Mostly because the last several times Ive been to different restaurants across the nation, OK, MO, FL, NC, LA… as soon as you walk in the door it smells like an old guy who has needed a shower for a few days. No Stink! YAY! I got to enjoy my shrimp scampi again. And the wonderful biscuits, I’ve missed them so. Our waiter wasnt the greatest. I Rarely leave a $5 tip. But I didnt figure he was worth much more than that.

We occasionally stop in for promotion. On our last visit we had a gift card that was given to us so we decided to splurge a bit. We originally ordered a couple of the Wednesday lobster and steak specials, my partner changed her mind before our server left the table to do a live lobster instead, but the server put in free entrees despite us saying "switch to" this "instead." We went ahead and paid for everything and took what we didn't eat to go, but a bit frustrating. The food is okay, pretty standard fare for a seafood chain. Even with the Wednesday special price it gets pricey. I ordered my steak medium well and it came out beyond well done. Despite the miscommunication, the server was friendly and accommodating. Felt like we paid a lot for just an okay experience, Even with a gift card.

It had been years since I ate at a Red Lobster. There were only 4 other tables of 2 in the whole restaurant. I can't believe how far down the quality of the food has gone. My last time eating at one.

Came for a birthday, party of 9 people. 3 being kids. Showed up at 7, finally got food at 8:15. Was not a busy night, but everything took forever. My crab didnt taste like crab, it just tasted like water. And I didnt know they cut their melted butter with fake butter. Server didn't show up, for another 15 minutes and said they would be right back! Took another 20 minutes, no drinks, not even water. Anyhow, went like that for the rest of out time, there. We got there at 1pm and left at 3.55pm. Never again!!

If you want Cheddar bay biscuits with your meal, don't come here. Last time they were "Having to make them fresh" and this time they were out completely. They didn't bother mentioning it either until our food came out and I asked if we could have some with our meal. Won't be coming back, if you can't provide one of the things your restaurant is most known for you don't deserve business.

Wanted to confirm the downhill slide of this restaurant chain for myself. Having had the greatest seafood ever produced in the u.s. I can settle for red lobster once in awhile. It's not even close to the quality red lobster was once known for. Shadow of itself. Day of judgement occurred on December 17th 2025. Went into this fast food restaurant for shrimp skewers and asparagus. Had a white Russian to start. The bartender is not skilled enough to make a good white Russian, the waitress was not even sure if her restaurant made the drink. Shrimp over done to the point of dry. No sauce, so ordered cocktail sauce. The shrimp came on a bed of rice. The rice was crunchy, bottom of the pot rice. Well aged rice. Asparagus I would of liked little more cooked. Appetizer was stuffed mushrooms close to edible but had a ,I once was frozen taste. I had to get up out of my seat to find my waitress. I asked for a salad in place of the old rice and that was surprisingly delicious. Biscuits were delicious. I dont know what corporate is thinking,they certainly dont do quality control. Paid 62 dollars plus tip,because the waitress doesnt do the cooking. Iam done with supposed high end dining and receiving literally frozen food. I'll cook at home more now.

I came in tonight for my weekly visit and I usually ask for Liv but I came in around 6pm today and I usually ask for micha or Kelsie but I just forgot and got a new waitress name Bre .. I read her reviews on here and the experience I got is not what others experienced. She forgot about my biscuits the whole entire visit and then asked me twice “if I still wanted those” after my entree .. I got my food.. cold like it’s been sitting there and when I ask to speak to a manger Bre says “I am the manager” and then I told her okay?? We had a party of 12, set in back the ceiling was falling, it’s the Eve of Mothers Day the place was dead. We had two plates of food raw, not cooked literally chicken pink, burger bloody, the place was empty. Went to the Red Lobster in Amarillo Texas 3311 I-40 W for my bday had an amazing seafood boil me and my husband decided to go back tonight for dinner . We both ordered seafood boils not hot at all the corn was fresh out the ice box I asked our waiter if the corn was supposed to be so cold she asked in the back she said they said the corn was de thawing ( so basically they put the cold corn in out boils) On top of that they boil had absolutely no juice . Our waiter didn’t seem to care.

Red Lobster in Amarillo looks run-down and the service did not match the brand reputation. Our waitress, KK, was polite, but it was clear we were not a priority. A customer who arrived after us was served quickly while we waited much longer for our food. When we asked about the delay, we were told the kitchen had to be “checked,” but the lack of communication and urgency made us feel overlooked. As contractors who recently relocated to the area, we were hoping for a familiar, reliable place to eat — instead, we left disappointed. These franchise locations need to step up. Amarillo has people coming in ready to work and spend money, and if service and atmosphere don’t improve, customers will take their business elsewhere.

Party of 18 with reservation, seated promptly and that was the only thing that went well. It took over an hour and half to get our food. Another party was there 30 minutes before us and got their food at the same time. Getting drinks and biscuits was like pulling teeth as well. Not worth the money or your time.

I don’t know where to start. I guess I’ll start with dirty silver ware, cold inedible cheddar biscuits, a flat beer and over 20 minutes of no service. Three tables around us had people literally get up and leave form lack of service and food. I don’t know where the problem lies but when you can’t even give someone a glass of water while they wait, you’re in trouble. I can clearly see why Red Lobster is failing. It use to be a go to place for me and my family but never again. When I discussed the issues with my server, it was excuse after excuse. There is no excuse for this service, food (or lack of food) that causes table after table to leave. I won’t be back and that’s too bad. Hello, If you are reading this, I received a response from the management of the Red Lobster here in Amarillo. They wanted me to respond to them privately. The answer to that is "no". Your service, cleanliness, food management, bar service were absolutely horrible and everyone who thinks about eating there needs to think twice. If you want a positive review do something that is positive. There is not one thing that I can think of about your establishment that is redeeming. Shame on you for not taking this review where it should be...in public so that you don't dare to continue your absolutely horrible service, cleanliness, your shabby and dingy restaurant (Clean and repair the furniture and carpeting)! Also, stop telling people it is others departments in your establishments fault that things are going wrong. The server we had proceeded to bad mouth the kitchen and the bar repeatedly and took no ownership for their areas of lacking service and the customer experience. It has been nearly a week since I went there and this experience is one of my worst ever!

Food was good. Service was not the best. Were seated by the hostess in a mostly empty restaurant and were not greeted or even acknowledged by a server for 25 minutes. Even though many walked past our table. I finally stood up and asked if we were going to be helped and after another 10 minutes a server came. We aren’t impatient people but the fact that not even an acknowledgment or someone telling us they will be with us in a few minutes, after 25 minutes was a bit disappointing.

November 6th 2025, My family went to red lobster in Amarillo, Tx. Upon walking into the establishment, there was a young lady wearing a bright grinch sweater as the hostess. She looked as if she was ill and definitely should not have been at work. We were seated promptly as there were only a few customers inside at 5:20 pm on a Thursday. All signs were telling me to turn around and walk out, but we didn’t. We were seated in a booth where high traffic waiters and waitresses were just talking to each other about this and that trying to make the time go by because of the lack of business. There was no air flow. No Air Conditioning. No fans. Our waitress Kaykay, interesting name. She was training a new hire, a young man. I didn’t catch his name. We ordered our food. I feel as if it came too swiftly. I didn’t think anything of it. We had two boils. A crab boil and a shrimp boil. When you open your bag from the boil it’s supposed to be visually hot. It was not. I started to eat my shrimp boil, and noticed that some of the shrimp were still raw. Refer to photos. The trainee was doing his job and asked if everything was okay. It was not. I quickly lost my appetite. I asked to speak to the manager “Patrick”. The trainee quickly went over to his trainer Kaykay and told her what transpired. Kaykay came to the booth and like a well seasoned waitress asked what she could do to resolve the issue. She took care of the issue. However, I still needed to talk to “Patrick”. They left the booth to go get the manager, and about 4 minutes later come back to the booth stating that he is in a conference call and won’t be done with for another hour. This review would have been a lot different if Mr “Patrick” would have came and talked with me for 5 minutes. Kaykay thank you for taking care of what “Patrick” should have. I will not be returning. I do not recommend this establishment to anyone.
