Very good authentic mexican, super polite staff and I did enjoy my torta (Mexican sandwhich) very much. I would in fact recommend this spot to others in the future.

The food was good, I had the barbacoa taco plate. The serving was perfect, the rice and beans was superb, the salsa and chips were fiery pero good. The waitress was super nice the wall pictures were very reminiscent of my parents choice of music and cinema. We walked and didn't wait long to get service and food, great place, go eat there!!

Ordered food for delivery from here. First time trying it. Ordered a breakfast burrito and some pancakes. Tortillas appear handmade as did the pancakes. It was delicious and tasty. Salsa was awesome and fresh. I will be eating and ordering Maria's Cocina!!🙂😃

Hole in the wall for sure, you'll miss it if your not paying attention😂. Very nice set up, food was good, I had the menudo ( large ) and portions were more than enough. Very good and service was great and she was nice. Will be back!

This is my favorite place to get menudo. I have tried menudo in many Mexican restaurants in Amarillo and Marias cocina is my #1 spot.

I stopped here randomly on a road trip that took me through Amarillo. Such a lucky find! Food was wonderful and the atmosphere was even better! Obviously some very satisfied regulars joking around with the staff. Really enjoyed the whole experience.

I just ordered a Menudo and a 32 ounce Coca-Cola from this place from DoorDash and when it came to my front door my Menudo was sideways spilled all over in the bag and so was the Coca-Cola and it was very expensive. I don’t understand why they put the Coca-Cola in the bag when they should’ve just left it out.

Walked in, didn’t get greeted, she said to find a seat and will be right with you. Ordered Gorditas only option chicken or beef said it would take 15 mins cause they are fresh, they were hard gorditas and dryyyyyy chicken. If you don’t know Spanish don’t come here. Our chips for the chips and salsa were Stale! Gnats flying around while your trying to eat! I killed 4 so far! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY COMING HERE! service sucked!!!!!

Chilaquiles were ok lacking flavor if they would use queso fresco instead and some cotija on beans and drizzle some crema on both than they would have been authenticly delicious. Hot salsa was good. Horchata was ok...Service was not good at all no refills brought to the table there was a large group of guys eating menudo buy a server that was either dating or married to one of the guys hugging her behind(VERY UNPROFESSIONAL) AND GETTING REFILLS ON THERE HORCHATA,Clearly some favoritism since on the menu it states no refills on Horchata!

First time eating at this place when we got there me and my husband set down waiting for them to bring us our menus we set there for like five minutes and i see that a couple came in after us and they got their menus before us i had to ask this dam waitress for our dam menu we odoerd a torta and the barbacoba was so dry and hard no good won't eat their again

Won't be coming back.
