Amarillo, TX has it going on with this gem. Tapas are usually ideal for a wonderful light dinner paired with exquisite wine. I loved everything I ordered, but know that the prosciutto and burrata already have candied butternut squash, and the goat cheese-stuffed peppadews are six of them and they are the size of a cherry tomato. Very tasty, though. I paired it with a rosé German wine. The service was top-notch, and the ambiance of the place was quite sophisticated with its decor and its choice of Christmas tunes.
Incredible experience here for my little sisters birthday dinner! We made a reservation for 6:45, showed up almost 30 min early and they still accommodated us right away. Vibes were so cozy, color scheme was beautiful. Would make for a great date night spot or holiday dinner party! Server (curly hair, glasses, tattoos, cannot remember his name) was phenomenal. Super attentive, answered a billion questions, went over specials in detail and made great recommendations. They had a Birria ramen special and it was incredible. The specialty drinks on the menu looked so beautifully curated I wanted to try them all. We got the shishitos, jalapeño hummus, the pollo and rice and the ramen and everything was delicious. We also ordered the smores dessert and he brought out a sparkler for her birthday. Management also checked in multiple times and the hostess was super sweet as well. Absolutely recommend and if we are ever back in the area we would love to come again! Thanks yall! 🙏🏼
I had an incredible experience at Savor! The atmosphere was welcoming and beautiful. I started at the bar with an espresso martini, featuring a new tequila that was absolutely delicious. Hutson, who was behind the bar, went out of his way to ensure I had everything I needed and was incredibly helpful. In the dining area, Zachary made sure to check in on my experience, and we had a lovely conversation as well. Chef John prepared the short rib ramen, which was absolutely delicious. The general manager, Mike, took the time to chat and made me feel truly valued. And I also want to mention Manuel, who was incredibly sweet and took the time to show me around the restaurant and a reservable room. He let me know I could call any time to make a reservation, and his thoughtful attention truly enhanced the experience. Overall, the food, the drinks, and the service were all top-notch. I highly recommend Savor for a wonderful dining experience!
Such a fun place! Quaint but classy. GREAT staff! Abbie was our bartender. Very sweet and attentive! We had the artichoke flatbread the shishito peppers, and escargot!!! 🤯🫢 They were good too! This place is a definite must try.
What a wonderful place. I love stopping here when I'm driving through Amarillo. The food was delicious , and the ambiance was just absolutely stunning. The staff, however, made the experience. Everyone was so kind, caring, and accommodating. Highly recommend!
I was looking for a place with a beautiful terrace for brunch and found Savor. It quickly became my favorite 😍. I really like their dinner menu but I LOVE their brunch one even more, especially the poached eggs and ham option. It’s delicious 🤤 The atmosphere is great, I was missing a place with a quiet terrace like I have in my country and I found a bit of home at Savor. Highly recommend!
Favorite restaurant in Amarillo for dates and celebrations! You can’t go wrong with anything you get from here. The atmosphere feels upscale and the service here fits the vibe. Our go tos is the artichoke flatbread, escargot, and any of their paellas. They also have the best wine selection and amazing cocktails! Love the espresso martinis.
10/10 Everything was amazing! Food, drinks, service, hospitality was phenomenal! Being a prepared friend myself I appreciated that the ladies restrooms were stocked for the inevitable! ;) Our servers were Addy and Casey and we loved them!
I’ve been to Savor plenty of times in the past, their brunch is fantastic and the service is always impeccable, but I had the pleasure of being served by Eden, she was great and attentive, but not too over the top, she was wonderful! I also had the pleasure of meaning their new manager Manuel and he is the best, he was attentive, knowledgeable, and humorous!
What a great find! Sa•vor is tucked in a shopping/office area of Amarillo. Their beautiful patio is surrounded by vines. Our server was Briana. She greeted us with a glass of water topped by a little wooden plate that had a complimentary Tapa of the day on it. We told her it was our first time there and she welcomed us and told us it was a great time to be there because of their new menu. We ordered Pan Con Tomate, a slice of crispy bread covered with a tomato spread and halved cherry tomatoes. The taste and textures were amazing. We also ordered the seared scallops. Again, amazing tastes and textures! The scallops were served on top of creamy orzo. On the side there was a seared bok choy and the dish was topped with fried wonton strips. I highly recommend the Seared Scallops! We moved inside to the bar for dessert. The bartender greeted us and welcomed us inside. Our Basque Cheesecake was drizzled in burnt carmel and topped with plump blueberries. It was a generous portion and again it had it all. The taste, texture, temperature and presentation hit on all cylinders! Thanks Briana for such a great dinner!
I took my daughter here to celebrate her birthday. Her hairdresser recommended it. We had an amazing experience starting with our stellar server, Drew! She was very attentive and was quick to answer all our questions and offer suggestions for her favorites. We ordered the charcuterie board, and were not disappointed. We then split the Pork Belly sliders and Brussel sprouts, which my only complaint was them being a bit too salty. We completed our dining experience with dessert consisting of a Creme Brule that was out of this world. And, for an added treat, they surprised us with a slice of their fabulous cheesecake, complete with a giant sparkler for my daughter's birthday. If I lived in Amarillo, I'd frequent this place probably way too much. But we definitely want to plan another visit next time I'm in town!!
Here’s the thing about Savor: the incredible ambiance and thoughtfully curated menu are just the beginning of an exceptional experience. Last year, they offered pasta classes, and nearly everything is made in-house. From artisan cocktails to the perfect patio, dinner under the stars, and brunch served seven days a week, Savor consistently delivers inventive specials. Most impressively, you forget you’re in the heart of West Texas! Today, I had the Smoked Chorizo Stew, a special dish not typically on the menu. It was one of the most beautifully presented plates I’ve had in Amarillo. While the flavors needed a bit more development—the smokiness was subtle, and I missed the depth of complexity I was hoping for—it was still delicious. Special dishes can be challenging to perfect, especially stews that need time to develop their full flavor. The general manager, Mike Bartels, stopped by to ask for feedback and then brought out their homemade bread to pair with the stew. The bread was spot on—crispy and flaky on the outside, moist and flavorful on the inside. It helped balance the dish perfectly. Their fall drink menu was excellent. I enjoyed an apple cinnamon cocktail that paired nicely with the creamy chorizo sauce. Having dined at Savor half a dozen times, I’m always impressed by their innovative menu and the team’s creativity in keeping things fresh. While not every visit is flawless, I respect their willingness to take risks. I’ll definitely continue returning, eager to try something new each time.
We love Ashley! The restaurant in itself is amazing but she just put the cherry on top. Definitely will be returning!

Honestly, what would we do without Fatima! I love the decor, I love the food, I love everything here. You always know Patrick is there if you need anything else! Love it here. I almost forgot Casey, he’s such a staple. I’ll always come to Savor!
Had a great experience thanks to our amazing waitress, Ashley! She was so helpful and attentive throughout the meal. She recommended the best dish on the menu, and it did not disappoint. Her friendly attitude really made the night even better. Highly recommend asking for Ashley if you visit!
Y’all…the beef ragu is one of the best dishes in town. Homemade noodles, amazing flavor & such a cozy dish! We had the hummus and shishito for tapas and everything was just fabulous! We come here regularly now on date night and sit at the bar, such a great experience! 10/10 recommend
Savor was delicious! We had a large family gathering just after Christmas and utilized their back room. What a cool, intimate space! The food was delicious and I sampled everyone’s food at our table: Burger, French Dip, Frittata, Monte Cristo, Colorado Steak, along with several app’s including frito misto and shrimp gamba. We also enjoyed the mimosa flight and a cup of coffee…all delicious! Staff and manager incredibly friendly and accommodating. Can’t wait to return and highly recommend Savor!
We had a great experience here. The ambience was excellent and the food was amazing. My mom loved the Paella and though my wife loved her food.... she most loved the wall paper! 😂 We had incredible service from Briana! We had a few special request for food sensitivities and she was great with all of it! Our group of 5 was still talking about how great Briana was on the drive home Well done Savor!!
I don't get the opportunity to frequent Amarillo, but now I have something look forward to! Wow. Would not have expected one of my favorite experiences having Tapas to have happened in Amarillo, but here we are! Every dish I has was bursting with flavor. Some of the best Patatas Bravas I've ever had. Don't miss out on the tuétano and champigñones! Definitely my go-to dish for my next visit!

I love this place. The atmosphere is wonderful. The food is amazing. My waitress eating was wonderful as well. There are several opportunities with the hostess. There were one too many, and they were on their cell phones talking. And laughing with each other, while bartenders and servers were working really hard. I don't think it's fair for bartenders. And servers to be constantly moving and hostesses be at their giggling and talking on their personal cell phones. It does not look very professional for the establishment and definitely does not give any encouragement or incentive for other employees. To be working as hard when they're doing nothing. As a manager once told me, you have time to be leaning. You have time to be cleaning.
The pros: Great menu. A mix of Spain cuisine with Latin influences. The paella with salmon & shrimp was absolutely delicious. Highly recommended. The flavor was on point. My friend had the pulpo and she enjoyed it. The cons: Just be prepared to wait for the food to come out. We did get there at the end of the day and I had made modifications to the paella but we waited a good hour for the food to come out. We did end up taking the food to go because we needed to hit the road. Besides that everything was great.
My friends and I drove about two hours each to surprise our friend for her birthday all she had talked about was wanting to try Savor’s Halloween Dinner in the Dark. Unfortunately, the night was really disappointing from start to finish. Even though we had an email confirmation and a reservation number, we were told when we arrived that we didn’t have a reservation. There were five of us, and we ended up being seated at the bar instead of at a table. For something that’s been going on four years and was already on its second night this season, it felt really unorganized. The bartenders were super nice and clearly doing their best, but you could tell they were overwhelmed. The “dark” experience was unique, but most of the food came out room temperature or cold… nothing was actually hot. At checkout, we were automatically charged a 20% gratuity even though our group was only five people and we didn’t even have a table. When I tried to talk to the manager, he seemed more interested in the two drinks he was drinking than listening to what went wrong. For $132.10, it just wasn’t worth it. My friend didn’t even get the full experience she had been so excited about. If you’re local, maybe give it a try and see for yourself, but if you’re traveling from out of town, I wouldn’t waste the drive, time, or money.
It was a Saturday night, and the restaurant was surprisingly empty, that should have been our first red flag. There were plenty of servers on the floor, far more than needed for the handful of occupied tables. The food was mediocre at best , nothing memorable, just borderline okay. Drinks and meals took forever to arrive, and our server forgot several items we’d ordered. Check-ins were rare; we felt largely ignored throughout the evening. The atmosphere was completely flat, no energy, no vibe, and worst of all, no music playing at all. It made the whole experience feel oddly quiet and lifeless. Overall, it was a disappointing night out. We won’t be rushing back.
We have been to Sa-vor many times over the last few years and have greatly enjoyed the food and dining experience. Our last visit however will end our patronage of this establishment due to the unacceptable poor service. I ordered the soup and salad combo on the lunch menu. Prior to ordering, I asked what the soup of the day was. The server said it was French Onion, which I was very excited about. When my dish arrived, the soup consisted of a small cup of broth and onions...no bread or cheese. French Onion soup has 4 main components...broth, caramelized onions, toasted bread and melted Swiss. When I questioned my dish, the server sent an assistant manager over to discuss it with me. She said that in an effort to keep costs down, they only prepare half of the soup for this combo dish that I ordered. What??? She asked if I wanted it to be fired up again and they could add toast and cheese. I said, yes please. Then, the manager came to my table and told me that I would have an upcharge on my bill for them to add what should have been included in the first place. He was quite rude when I stated that I don't mind if they make it a half size portion, but they should include all the ingredients of this classic soup. I left it untouched and will not be back. We left the waitress a hefty tip, because she was kind and had no control over the situation. But, a warning to future guests...if the soup of the day is Chicken Noodle and you only get half because of cost control...will you just get broth or noodles, or maybe just chicken?
