Love this place. Clean quiet and the man and woman that work there are very nice. I eat here at least once a week

Best Hawaiian food I have yet. Just wish they opened at 10 instead of 11 but worth the wait.

Great little joint. Took the family here for dinner tonight. We got the BBQ chicken, pulled pork, & fried shrimp. Everything was delicious. Rice and macaroni salad come as sides. The Mac salad was awesome—super creamy. Chicken was moist and flavorful. The bbq sauce and teriyaki sauce were great. Would definitely recommend if you’re in the mood for some Hawaiian BBQ.

Stopped off here on our way home after a bad experience at another restaurant. Figured we'd just take food home. Well, the kids and the wife are happy. The food was good, it was all fresh. Nothing fancy, just a Family Meal. The only issue- there will always be a 10-15 min wait for the food because they make it fresh. Not a complaint, just an observation.

Spam mosubi and the chicken tariaki meal are great. Good portions. Clean and quiet to eat. They are doing a touch menu now but is super easy to use. Wonderful service when you need it. Prices seem fair and consistent with their competitors. I like this one the best.

The food was great! Always cooked fresh. The spicy pineapple chicken was amazing! Only downfall is they close pretty early.. 6pm. Our dine-in ended up being takeout. They have a touchscreen monitor for self ordering and checkout which was easy to use. The two guys working seemed more interested with preparing orders than interacting with customers which was fine, they weren't rude about it. It just would have been nice since it was our first time there to be told about ringing ourselves up instead of figuring that out after watching others coming in do that. Overall it was the best Hawaiian BBQ we've had!

Food is always delicious. However the restaurant itself is dirty, chairs sticky, floor was sticky. My shoes kept sticking to the floor. The poor plants needed water. I advised them to water the poor plants. They laughed. Wait. What........

First time trying out Hilo Hawaiian BBQ, and had a pleasant experience. The service was quick and the food was very tasty. We tried the chicken combo and the bbq combo, the food had so much flavor. The combos come with rice and a macaroni salad, was plenty of food for one person.

Not very fast but I've never had an issue with the size of the serving and the quality of the ingredients. Amazing spam masubi , not that many options. I love their green tea/ black tea they have. Little bit pricey, I easily spend 12 dollars on my self for the meal. P.S try their macaroni.

The potstickers are enormous, almost a meal by themselves. The combo grill plate was pretty good, with nice marinade on the meat. Our biggest disappointment, however, was that several of the items we used to come for aren't on the menu anymore. We were especially sad that the Kahlua pork and Japanese curry are not available!

love this place!!! great tasting hawaiian bbq! a little pricey but love the mixed plate and the musubis. always friendly customer service. can be a little cold in the winter because i dont think they turn the heat on but love the atmosphere. they allow for vegetable substitutes of starches. nice place!

We have been going here for awhile. The food taste and quality has dropped a bit but the drastic change was in quantity. Of couse as with everything the prices have also steadily risen. Overall its a specialized meal that if your craving this is a decent place.

It was not bad. I was good with portion size but Im not a big eater. I could see if you were a man or like big meals you may feel cheated for the price. Employees and service was very good.

This place is probably by far the worst Hawaiian BBQ joint I have ever tried the use so much grease on the food you'll have a puddle underneath the plate of grease and the fountain drinks are super mega washed down! Literally after eating a couple bites I just couldn't anymore my stomach was hurting and the drink didn't help at all tasting super washed down and bitter. Please Be Careful When Eating Here! Don't believe the other reviews they're just super hungry people that anything tastes good that they let hunger do the talking.

I ordered a family meal and had a choice of 3 different meats for $40.00 I chose 2 chickens and short ribs. They wanted me to pay 8.25 extra for the ribs. So I chose beef instead. Worker said the beef is the same as the ribs except no bones. I won't be going back unless they allow ribs to be one of the meat choices.

Long wait and portions are small ish for the listed price. But the food was good. I prefer L&L

I placed a phone order for pickup today. I arrived and wasn't let in because I didn't have a mask. When I asked if they require masks are they supplying them? Without getting an answer I was told to go outside. So I leave without my food. About 10-15 minutes later I get a call from the cashier asking me if I was going to pick up my food. I told her no because you wouldn't let me in without a mask. Then she tells me if you don't have a mask we will bring your order to you outside. So why was I told that when I placed the order or when I was told to go outside? There were no visible signs requesting masks be worn as I approached the the storefront either. So until they can get their communication skills in order, I will be dinning elsewhere.

They are not reliable they close randomly on a Monday or Tuesday and when they are open Terrible!!! Asian Cashier is rude they take forever with your food (even if it’s a phone order) and the price went up (which don’t matter) BUT they give u less food & by Trying to make up with the higher price, they give you a stale egg roll.

I just dont guet why they still open food is not that good any more service is terrible and rude no wonder why they don't have any employees I wouldn't recommend or comeback

Went there tonight and not only did screw up my order but the cashier admitted that they only put one size portion of meat on your plate even if you pay for extra, so not only are they not giving you the right portion but they are also stealing your money.

I’ve been to lots of Hawaiian bbqs and never have I seen a place so stingy with its food even though if you pay extra.....I paid 21 something for a 5 pieces of chicken and a side order of rice that is outrageous

I ate here twice with my daughter. First time, a special on the window pork chop/rice with pot sticker. When the order arrived a egg roll was on the plate instead of pot sticker. I asked the rude male cashier, why not the pot sticker, he said its seasonal only. (Seasonal only for pot sticker)???? 2 months passed. Second time, again I ordered the same special and again no pot sticker, egg roll instead. I asked again, rude male cashier replied, egg roll not pot sticker. If you going to advertise on the window and table of a special, provide the correct items. It's been almost a year since, and I haven't been back.
