The Mapleleaf Restaurant at the Pixar Hotel is absolutely amazing! We visited three times during our vacation, and every single meal was incredible. The Hot Honey Fried Chicken Sandwich was a standout, but everything we tried—the hamburger, the hummus—was delicious. On top of the amazing food, the staff were phenomenal—so kind, attentive, and fast. Dining here was an absolute highlight of our trip, and we can’t wait to come back!
Great restaurant and just what we needed after being in the Disney parks all day. We had a reservation which was nice, so we got right in. The service was very friendly! The food was hot, plentiful, and high quality. It's a bit of a walk from the park, but worth the walk if you want a great meal. Very compatible with kids, but they'd be much less excited for the walk. To get there, walk all the way to the end of downtown Disney, then through parking area to Pixar hotel, you'll be glad you did.
First time in. The staff was amazing! I started with the truffle fries which were really good. Also had the special menu item tortilla soup. It was AMAZING! this is something you need to have all the time! For dinner We had the meatloaf and chicken&doughuts. The meatloaf was good, but I expected more. The chicken and doughnuts was really good, but it was a lot! Total bill for 2 people was $130. I would go back
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Great Maple in Anaheim, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. The restaurant's unique blend of sweet and savory flavors shone through in every dish we tried. The standout stars of the show were undoubtedly the Chicken and Doughnuts, a creative twist on a classic comfort food. The tender, juicy chicken paired perfectly with the fluffy, sweet doughnuts - a match made in heaven! The meatloaf with mashed potatoes was another highlight, with a rich, meaty flavor that was expertly balanced by the creamy, buttery mashed potatoes. It was a classic comfort food dish done to perfection. We also enjoyed the Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich, which boasted a delightful balance of spicy and sweet flavors. The crispy, juicy chicken was elevated by the subtle sweetness of the hot honey, making for a truly addictive sandwich. Overall, Great Maple is a must-visit destination for anyone looking for creative, delicious, and satisfying comfort food. With its unique flavor combinations and exceptional service, this Anaheim restaurant is sure to become a new favorite
Absolutely electric experience every time I come here. I’ve been multiple times, once with a small party of two and another with a group of eight, and we always ask for Matthew during breakfast or brunch. He keeps the vibe positive, gives great recommendations, and makes the whole meal feel special. I usually go for the Eggs Benedict (highly recommend!), but this time I tried the Cajun Shrimp and it was more than satisfying. We were celebrating my grandma’s 90th birthday on her first visit, and Matthew’s service made it a truly memorable day. Thank you!
We just finished our trip to Disneyland and we stopped by Great Maple for breakfast one day. We were so impressed with the food that we came back two days later! The portions are huge, so we had plenty of leftovers. The portabello mushroom fries are delicious - perfectly seasoned and crispy. The chilaquiles were also amazing and the service was great. We’ll definitely come back on our next trip!
Oh, you absolutely must hear about our incredible experience at the Great Maple in the Pixar Hotel! A huge thank you to the wonderful concierge at the Grand Californian for the fantastic recommendation. We were looking for a place that could handle our party of ten, and this gem delivered in spades. The walk across the street to the Pixar Hotel was a breeze, and from the moment we arrived at the Great Maple, we felt welcomed and well taken care of. They had our reservation ready, and seating our large group was seamless. The atmosphere was lively and fun, perfectly complementing the Pixar vibe. But let's talk about the food! Every dish was a delight, from the appetizers to the main courses. The quality of the ingredients was evident, and the flavors were just outstanding. However, the real stars of the show, according to my kids (and honestly, the adults too!), were the maple and bacon donuts for dessert. Seriously, those things are little bites of heaven! The sweet maple glaze combined with the salty, crispy bacon was an absolute revelation. My kids are still raving about them! The service was also top-notch. Our server was attentive, friendly, and patient with our large and somewhat rambunctious group. They made sure everyone had what they needed and offered helpful suggestions. Overall, our meal at the Great Maple was a highlight of our Disneyland trip. It's a fantastic spot for families and anyone looking for delicious food in a fun setting. We wholeheartedly give the Great Maple five stars and will definitely be recommending it to others! If you're at Disneyland, make a reservation – you won't be disappointed!
Place has a fun vibe and the service was great. The maple salmon was awesome, mac n cheese was good- creamy and flavorful the shrimp added to Mac n cheese was good but a little over-salted. Fresh maple bacon donut came out soft and warm and perfect.

Last day at Disney we walked over the Great Maple and it was amazing. The decor was so clean and inviting! The food was so YUM!! Our server, Ryan was prompt and courteous! We had a great time & highly recommend!!
Our visit was fantastic! Great staff, from the moment we stepped in and were welcomed and seated by our waiter. Other waiters and managers stopped by to make sure the experience was superb (and it was). We ordered the Portobello Mushroom Fries, the Steakhouse Burger (sub truffle fries) and Shrimp Biscuit Benedict. It would be an understatement to say I would order it all again or try other portions of their menu based on this experience. Every bite was absolutely delicious.
The staff worked very hard to meet our dietary needs while we were here. The food was excellent, and it was completely free of any allergens that we spoke to them about. The only reason I gave it four stars for the atmosphere was because of the horrible Christmas music they played throughout our entire meal. On another note, I do love the monochrome portraits of the Pixar characters.
Alex & Nushal at pool bar & main bar inside were so amazing and fun! They made our visit extra special!
This is not a stereotype of Disney dining and I mean that in a good way. Located in the Pixar hotel this restaurant is family friendly but closer to the ESPN zone vibe. Ate brunch on Saturday with friends and there were many families there as well. The food options were varied and we enjoyed everything we tried. Ordered the French toast logs, Maple bacon donuts with chicken tenders, Portobello mushroom fries and Cesar salad with salmon. Everything was delicious and I will definitely be back!
The Great Maple is inside the Pixar Place Hotel near the Downtown Disney. One of their signature dishes is the maple bacon donut.🍩 Oh my goodness it is sooo good!! If you visit this area and don't try it, you are missing out. Pair it with a Double Latte Mexican Mocha,☕ it has a small spicy bite, but also so good, just ask for extra whip to cool it down, if it is too much. I did, it was perfect! Thanks Alicia and crew!
Great Maple in Anaheim delivers an exceptional dining experience from start to finish. The food is absolutely incredible — every dish is full of flavor, beautifully presented, and made with top-quality ingredients. The drinks are just as impressive: creative, well-balanced, and truly memorable. If you're planning to visit, making a reservation in advance is highly recommended, as this place is popular for a reason. The atmosphere is vibrant yet comfortable, and the customer service is outstanding — warm, attentive, and professional throughout. Thank you, Great Maple, for a truly remarkable culinary experience. Without a doubt, a must-visit in Anaheim.
We really liked this dining option during our recent trip to Disney. The ribs were great and my kiddo loved the butter noddles option!
The food was pretty good, and the price fits the Disney expectations. But the service is what brought me to the review section. Stephanie was incredible and so kind, and the atmosphere at the bar area was wonderful. Yes it’s a Disney hotel, but you can forget that while you’re there and enjoy a nice moment of peace. 10/10 chance of me returning just for the conversation and wine.
Gabby was our server. She was fabulous. Who knew that they have a special vegan menu? Love this place!
Where do I begin?! This restaurant was so so good. Let me start with how beautiful the atmosphere is- I loved the moody Pixar art on the walls! Service was great and on top of it. Now onto the food. I am not a fan of seafood but the crusted salmon was screaming off the menu to me, so I went for it. It was done perfectly, it was by far the best salmon I have ever had and will probably crave from time to time. Vegetables were done to perfection too. My husband had the hot honey chicken and enjoyed it. The fries though lets chat about those....if you like lightly salted McDonald's fries you will love these. If you are NOT a McDonald's fry person- these fries are not for you. We personally loved them! Lastly, the maple bacon donuts-HEAVEN! Like a cake donut and yeast donut had a perfect baby donut. The bacon and maple complimented each other without over powering the other. I definitely recommend this place and can't wait to return.
We had breakfast here, this morning— we had gone to the San Diego location several years ago on a vacation and my husband talks about the Chilaquiles at least once a week, still. The food didn’t disappoint, but our server hit it out of the park- Jonah was kind, had great attention to detail and even offered drinks to go (our girls both ordered beverages and then hardly touched them while at the table)— if only we lived closer, and this would be our Sunday breakfast weekly spot. If you’re looking to expand; Great Maple— I plead with you to look at Maple Valley, WA!
Wow!! Excellent service, food and ambiance. Everyone in our family agrees, this is THE BEST MEAL we’ve had on our four day trip to Disneyland. Maria, our server, was AMAZING!!! Hands down simply the best spot in and around Disneyland!
Beautiful Location inside Disneyland Paradise pier Hotel (soon to be Pixar Place Hotel). Atmosphere was beautiful and inviting, food was delicious and Service was above average. We ordered the Portobello fries and the mac & cheese for the table. Both were delicious but portobello fries were the clear winner. For our entrées, we ordered the chicken sandwich with hot honey, the French toast logs, the ribeye sandwich melt and the soda pop ribs. Every one of us enjoyed our meal thoroughly and we kept saying it was the best meal we had all week. Absolutely recommend.
Jennifer, the hostess, is amazing. She goes above and beyond to make sure guests are seated as quickly as possible and offered great suggestions for shopping. Our waiter was awesome as well. He was friendly, but not too talkative and gave us updates on when to expect the food. The food was so good we didn’t have a chance to take pictures of it. The Cesar salad was amazing and the kids meals were all yummy and great portion sizes. *the tiki drink was delicious. Highly recommended.
Great Maple is a great place to celebrate birthdays which is what we've done twice now. Don't forget to get your parking validated with the check-in counter before you leave. The patio seating is warm and not cold. The Sodapop Baby Back Ribs is my favorite. It has great flavor and is not dry at all. The Tropical Mermade is a safe Pina Colada type drink. I got 2 hehe. Definitely stop by here if you're a Magic Keyholder because you'll get a 10% discount.
Don't come here unless you're really hungry. The portions are huge. We went around brunch time on a weekday and had a wait of about 20 minutes which wasn't bad, it helped us work up more of an appetite haha. The menu is limited but I think that just means their limited selections are perfected. Every dish I saw come out looked incredible. I ended up with the fried chicken and maple bacon doughnuts- one of their signature dishes. It was delicious. The doughnuts are the thickest I've ever seen. They're not sickeningly sweet or too heavy on the maple. They paired wonderfully with the chicken. The only negative thing I can say is the acoustics in there are terrible. We went when it was full and it was SO uncomfortably loud.
If you’re looking for a good dinner spot outside of the park, I highly recommend this location. The staff were all friendly and welcoming, the food was delicious and so were the drinks. Perfect for larger parties or a simple meal for two. They are known for their fried chicken and rightfully so. It’s mouthwatering!!!
Dined here late, but the service was still good and so was the food-- which isn't always the case when you get to a restaurant 30 mins before closing. We ordered the french toast, the hot honey chicken sandwich(fries were crispy and the right salt level 😋) and the scallop potatoes randomly lol. The sandwich was great that chicken remained crispy. Even with the slaw and the sauce. The french toast was very impressive and very large. The scallop potatoes were excellent, well seasoned ans creamy.
Amazing food as always. This location looks a lot like the old one in the Del Amo mall. Fried chicken and donuts is a must try. Their hot honey chicken sandwich was not spicy but it was very delicious. No seasonal desserts at this location. Brunch with drinks is the way to go here. Also there's no Disney influence here.
Everything about this restaurant is amazing! The staff is welcoming, the atmosphere is great - especially if you sit near the open area, and the MAC AND CHEESE is delicious ! Highly recommend One of the best restaurants on the disney property UPDATE: Cesar is hands down one of the best servers I have ever encountered, both on and off Disney property. He was incredibly kind, attentive, and anticipated our needs before we even had to ask. His hospitality truly elevated our dining experience. He is a prime example of what great service should look like. If you’re visiting, definitely ask for his section!
My husband & I wanted to try this place for a while. We were not disappointed. The food & service were excellent! JC, our server, was top notch! They had run out of French fries, so JC recommended the portobello mushroom fries. I’m so glad because those are far more superior. Fortunately, the fries became available by the time our food was ready, but we really loved the mushrooms! The mac & cheese is one of the best!! Definitely try this place for excellent food, service, & atmosphere.
Very clean and vibrant. Part of the Pixar Hotel. Love the modern look and feel. Food was delicious. Many delicious options. Menu has something for everyone. The cocktails were great and definitely recommend the espresso martini. Would definitely recommend before heading into the parks or just for a cute date or a friend gathering. Indoor and outdoor seating. Reservations highly recommended, but not needed.
The food, service, and ambiance at this establishment are truly exceptional. The seamless blend of old-school charm and modern touches--both in the art and the cuisine--creates a unique and memorable dining atmosphere. Every dish was outstanding, and the flavors were remarkable. Our server, Matthew, went above and beyond to ensure our experience was nothing short of perfect, so attentive and genuinely he went above and beyond to make our visit very magical. This was one of the finest dining experiences l've had in a long time, and I highly recommend eating here.
Got the chance to visit the new Pixar Place Hotel at Disneyland last week. One of the highlights was having lunch at the new Great Maple restaurant inside. Service was fantastic. So attentive to my needs. Food was picture perfect and of course yummy too. I highly recommend the maple donut. Note the menu has them sold in threes but I asked and you can order just one. The ribeye melt was recommended and it didn’t disappoint. Probably my favorite thing in addition to all listed above is it’s still quiet and was easy to get a reservation and not overwhelmingly busy like some of the Disneyland restaurants. If you are looking for great food and a quieter out of the way relaxing place to eat lunch while at Disney definitely try Great Maple!!!
So I’m not generally impressed with the magic of Disney when it comes to their restaurants. This experience was different. New revamped hotel, new restaurant I was skeptical. First glance at the menu the higher than average prices but as I started to explore the unique drinks and food options grabbed me. Not a gin guy but order the cucumber gimlet, it was fantastic in taste and presentation. I got the ribeye melt it too hot both marks. Oldest daughter the hot honey sandwich, younger daughter the New York steak. Both perfectly cooked and great flavors. The steak was exactly medium rare as we had asked. Needless to say there were no left overs. Our table had many of the specialty drinks and not a single negative from anyone. Service was very attentive and friendly. The hotel looks to be about 50% done with renovations so the crowd was not a problem to get 10 people at our table. I still recommend a reservation. Great indoor/outdoor area in the back of the restaurant with large roll up doors. Disney knocked this one out of the park!
Oh boy, wear your loose clothing, you're going to want to eat EVERYTHING on the menu! Ribeye Steak Sandwich with arugula and Cheddar Cheese, heaven. Scalloped Potatoes-creamy smooth. French toast LOGS, yes, they are generous in the portion and delicious! Don't forget, you must order the Warm Maple Bacon Donut. OMG ! Our server, Daniel, brought ours out warm. Very friendly staff, even the Mgr, "Biz", checked on us, very nice !
I was really positively surprised by how good the breakfast was. And also by the portion size. We were able to have a feast while leaving some left overs for the road. The smoked bacon scramble is a must have, and the doughnuts can feed an army of kids. Special mention for a great service. Carlos was super helpful with the recommendations.
Went here for breakfast and had Matt as our server. First and foremost he was excellent is all ways. He knew the menu was extremely helpful with our dietary needs from allergies to vegetarian meal options. The food was great as well. The whole experience made up for a lack of food options in Disneyland so far. Can't wait to go back and try more of the menu.
Our visit was fantastic! Great staff, from the moment we stepped in and were welcomed and seated by our waiter. Other waiters and managers stopped by to make sure the experience was superb (and it was). Our small party of four had an excellent first experience at Great Maple in the Pixar Place Hotel. The walk-up wait for a Sunday for lunch wasn't too bad—15-20 minutes. Our exceptional and upbeat server was Gigi, who explained the day's specials, gave menu recommendations, and kept us happy during our visit. We started with drinks and shareables. My family ordered a couple of Maple Bacon Old Fashioned cocktails and a beer, and I got a Cali Carajillo. The old-fashioned was okay; the bourbon used was a "Bacon washed Four Roses Bourbon," according to the website, but not on the menu. If you like coffee cocktails, try the Cali Carajillo. I prefer a carajillo with large cubed ice, but this was still satisfying. If you enjoy tropical vacation cocktails, try the Tropical Merm-ade. It's a refreshing tiki drink in a cool tiki glass. On to the food. Everyone ordered something different. Overall, everyone enjoyed what they got. We started with the Famous Maple Bacon Donuts, which were impressive when brought to the table. They are very sweet and doughy, with tasty bacon bits and maple bacon glaze. The Thick-Cut Smoked Bacon was also an excellent starter. Who doesn't love bacon?! The Chef's Market Fish special was a mahi mahi taco, which my bro enjoyed. The salmon entrée and the Steakhouse Burger were just okay. I ordered the Rib Eye Melt. This was a hearty meal; the flavor was delicious overall, the buttered bread was toasty, and the ribeye was tender. My only issue was that it was too salty for me. I could only eat half of the sandwich and took the other half home. I would come back again to experience friendly, attentive service, chill Disney vibes, and try more menu items. We didn't need reservations, but it doesn't hurt to set one up to guarantee a dining spot, especially for larger parties. There were many tables and bar seating available after our lunch. Indoor and patio seating are available. Disney Magic Key discounts apply!! Also, don't forget to check out the awesome Pixar decor and art around the hotel lobby. I love the music playing around the lobby as well.
Real clean restaurant, not too loud, and great service from all staff, specially the servers. The food took a bit to be ready, but the food definitely made up for the wait. 10/10 on everything. I had the “chicken and donuts”, my son had “modern American breakfast “, my daughter had the kids “grilled cheese”, my wife had the “strawberry pancakes “, and we all had the delicious orange juice to drink.
Had a great experience here this morning… we didn’t have a reservation and only had to wait 15 minutes for a party of 5. Ribeye hash was very good, kids loved their pancakes, they made my wife’s eggs with only yokes because she’s allergic to the whites, and the maple bacon donuts were killer. Service was friendly and brought us everything we asked for. Best meal we had at Disneyland the past 3 days.
Not the most "Disney" of restaurants, but if you want no fuss, no muss/just a meal, it gets the job done. We had a reservation (yes, you're gonna wait if you don't... sorry? Disney has a system, yo), checked in a few minutes early, then received a text right at our reservation time that our table was ready (see, a system). The salads we ordered were large enough that we had to take about 1/3 to go for later. The blue cheese vinaigrette on the Cobb Wedge was sooooo good. My partner ordered the Caesar with salmon, and the salmon portion was generous. Our kiddo's mac and cheese serving was large and also delicious.
We found the food to be fantastic - enjoyed the kids french toast, kids pancakes, the GM chopped salad, and fried chicken with the maple bacon donuts. In particular, our server, Matthew, was incredible! He provided great recommendations about activities to do at the Pixar Place Hotel and was extremely kind with our children. As frequent Disneyland Resort guests, we are looking forward to going back during our next trip!

Simply put: good food. Donuts are yummy. My only complaint is the guacamole was gross. Too much lemon juice. But the “list of coupon exclusions” and “90 min limit” signs at the door just communicate: get in and get out; we just want your money. It’s really off-putting to be “welcomed” that way
I've been here a few times with my partner and family. I really enjoyed the food - that lemon pasta is my favorite! I also enjoyed their sandwiches. Service has been solid but a few times I've gone, it was a bit slow. I think they should staff it more during peak meal times. It took a while to get the attention of our server for the check. Atmosphere can vary - it's either fairly quiet or super loud, just depends on when you go. We generally walk here from the parks or the hotels but there is a parking garage behind the hotel.
Awesome experience and good food! The restaurant has a fairly wide menu and great dishes. The prices are a bit on the higher side, but nothing too crazy. Their portions are decent and the quality of the food is better than expected. The restaurant was really nice and felt luxurious. Highly recommend making a reservation because there’s usually a 20-ish minute wait for dinner. However, if you don’t show up and cancel your reservation, you’ll be CHARGED A FEE. * 10 Oz. New York Steak: 8/10 - juicy steak and decent sized portion * Hot Honey Fried Chicken Sandwich: 9/10 - huge portion * Powdered Sugar Beignets: 6/10 - more like bread than beignets It’s located near Disney so it’s a great stop if you’re planning on going to the park. There’s a parking structure that requires validation, but the first 30 minutes are free. The staff was also super friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend if you plan on stopping by Disneyland!
We love this place. It’s one of our favorite stops when visiting Disneyland. I shared the shrimp pasta with my wife, yuuuuuumy. I had the tortilla soup, great flavor and very hearty. My wife had the Caesar salad, we had to return it, soggy lettuce, not enough dressing. My sons one ordered maple donut with chicken, and my other son ordered the chicken sandwich. Please work on your donut recipe, they are so dense and if you tried to use them as a life preserver you are going down. Finally we asked our amazing waitress how are the beignets, are they as dense as donuts? She was honest and said people loved them. Well we ordered them. When they arrive at the table our waitress offered to shake the bag with the powdered sugar. As soon as she started shaking the bag you can clearly hear they weren’t light and fluffy, she then proceeded to dumping them on plate, I swear it sounded like a bowling ball hitting a lane. Please, please, please work on your donut and beignets recipe. We love this place.
Went for breakfast. Egg scramble was really good. Potatoes okay. French toast was alright. Coffee was solid. Service was really friendly. Hard to stomach a $100 breakfast for a family of three, when it's pretty standard stuff.

As with all other Disneyland restaurants, you need to make a reservation on the app and likely way ahead of time. We wound up doing a togo order to eat in our room and it took about an hour to prepare. The ribs were the highlight. Ribeye melt sandwich was decent, but pretty fatty. We'll give it another shot for breakfast since we're staying in the Pixar place.
This was the most expensive meal (we had brunch) my family ate so we just ate in the parks the remained of our trip. The donuts were amazing. My adult kids had chicken sandwiches and I ordered a grilled cheese with soup. I did have an unauthorized additional charge to my credit card the following day so watch for that.
Not sure why I had to wait 10 minutes for an empty both after declining the bar, but after sitting and having some superb espresso, I ordered a salad.... And it was TOP NOTCH! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND.
Service and atmosphere is great! Food is hit or miss. Rib Eye melt and Truffle fries are worth every penny. Cesar salad is solid. Avoid the Cobb wedge salad like the plague (chef needs to look at plates they are sending out of the kitchen and ask themselves if it looks appetizing). The chicken on the Cobb wedge looks like it was “pre-chewed”… Beer selection is great if you’re looking for craft beer. There Old Fashioned was one of the best I’ve had in ages.
I was really surprised to see a non-Disney restaurant in a Disney hotel. Great Maple has multiple locations. Our food and service was good and this is a good non-downtown Disney and non-Park option for a meal. Don’t expect a bargain though, no drinks and we were at $73 for brunch for two.
Enjoyed lunch here with some friends. We ordered the Portobello mushroom fries to share. They were fantastic! Crispy, well seasoned and with the dipping sauce were actually almost unbelievably delicious. I could have made my meal with two orders of those! I also ordered the ribeye melt with side salad. It was meh. The rib eye felt like it was leftovers from others steak dinners saved for days. It was bland and really could have been a cheap cut of steak given how tough it was. I would not order it again.
We had reservations at 5:15 and got there when they opened. The place is nice with a good amount of pictures to look at. The service was ok I feel that the server asked how everything was as soon as we got our food and then after that we had to flag other staff for anything else. I made the mistake of getting the chicken and donuts , I say mistake because what they have for dessert is mainly donuts and by that point I didn't want any more. The portion of chicken was on the smaller side and I wish it would have been white meat as I'm not a big fan of chicken thigh. I would probably go back but won't be getting chicken and donuts. I also wish they had a kids burger as the kids menu is very limited.
Upon checking in for our reservation the host was warm and welcoming. As we walked to our table there was a dirty table that was pre-bussed, but it was not busy so I feel like it could have been wiped already since it had been pre-bussed. We sat at a table right at the edge of the roll up windows which was great. The overall feel and ambiance is chill with a slight feeling of that up scale modern dining experience. Our Server was very warm and welcoming as well, although we did not get a menu overview with recommendations. I did ask after the fact and the server had a good basic knowledge of the menu and was able to give recommendations. This may be a little thing but the Seasonal Menu that we were given had a few rough edges that my eyes and hands caught. I think for a restaurant who is that up scale modern dining I expected the menus to be in better condition but this was a little thing. The first item up is the Portobello Mushroom Fries. I actually am not a huge fan of mushrooms but these were good. I'm not a fan of the breading but it did not feel as heavy as it looked. The pesto aioli was good and the vreading ratio was good. the flavors all together went well together although I may be missing some acidity to lighten the dish. For someone who does not like mushrooms except when on pizza, I was surprised how much I enjoyed the dish. Omg, the entrees, here we go: The Ribeye Melt, at first I was worried that I saw more veggies than ribeye but it is definitely in there. The flavors are so harmonious and the ribeye is cooked beautifully. The fries are pretty standard. My wife got the NY strip and it was cooked perfectly. She ordered it Med-Well. She also got the truffle fries and we both agreed it had just enough of that truffle flavor to not be overpowering and every bite had flavor. The Arugula Salad compliments the butteriness of the steak. The Vinegrette gives a little acidity but it could use just a little bit more will really elevate it. We drizzled some lemon on it and BAM. They even rendered the fat on the steak as well. You can tell that whoever cooked this dish put some great attention to it. So the Peach Doughnuts were more dense than we were expecting but the taste was great and the crunchy exterior was actually nice. They were not overly sweet but could probably be just a tad on the sweeter end. The fruit medley on top was also not very sweet either. Taste and Flavor was pretty much there but I wouldn't call it a doughnut. They did sit for a few minutes as I waited for my wife to come back from the restroom. Timing on the dishes was also near perfect. The pacing of the meal was amazing which I expect on a slow lunch service. Overall I would definitely come back and try the other dishes. I would recommend this place to not only Guests of the park but also just anyone looking for a good meal. Notes: They are closed between 2pm - 5pm to reset for Dinner Service. They have the same menu All Day, so don't feel pressured to get in early for Brunch.
The food was decent. The chilaquiles were less than average on the taste scale. It is pricy, but this is expected since it’s a Disney property. We were very disappointed that a kids pancake order did not come in the shape of Mickey. Huge oversight on their part which is such a simple improvement that would had elevated the experience. Needless to say we won’t be back since the cocos down the street will open up soon.

Great restaurant service 5/5 but flavor was 3/5. I got the chicken and donuts. Chicken was a bit dry and the breading was a bit flavorless but good portions. The doughnut were big but too dense. I felt like the denseness made them hard to eat. Bacon bits were delicious and overall I still recommend you try it but if I was a local I wouldn’t come back.
We ate here 3 times ,2 dinners and1 breakfast. Every time, except for breakfast, we made reservations, every time they made us wait and served people who came in after our party….and let me add for breakfast , there was only two people in the restaurant!! I felt a “ holier than thou” Attitude, especially at the front desk they took our phone number and never even called us, but took multiple groups before us. I won’t return.
There were lots of open tables when we arrived but still waited at least 20 minutes to be seated. The bartender was friendly and made wonderful drinks. The food was mediocre and the service was ok.
First time here and was disappointed. First off no grilled chicken entrees’s, we walked through disney walk and non of the restaurants had no grilled chicken entrees, fried this, breaded etc. The chef’s cant even cook a a medium burger. Ingot medium well. I won’t even say anymore. Molly however our server was great.
I wish I walked away with a better opinion about Great Maple Anaheim. The food and atmosphere was fine, but the service was a bit disappointing. Between the time it took the server to show up at the table…the wrong food showing up… the unusual number of times the server called me sweetheart and hon in front of my wife and being given the wrong check, our experience at this visit was a bit off. Otherwise, the restaurant was clean and inviting and we would probably give this place another try if we happened to be nearby and hungry. Because of the service, I would not consider this a place to go out of my way for in the future. Pro tip for all the servers out there… it really is kind of strange to call a stranger sweetheart or hon 15 times. I feel like I would get a slap in that face if I called a random woman sweetheart in front of her significant other. To me at least it felt very uncomfortable.
The kids menu foods were a little disappointing, the burger was literally a patty and a bun. No mayo, sauce or cheese for $15. The grilled cheese was big but nothing particular. The spicy chicken and the burger was good but nothinf really stood out. The food came slow and waited 15-20min... Everything was a little slow in this place.
We missed the boat on making reservations for a group of 10 far enough in advance and this was the best dinner option on the way back to the Westin. Service was on, they tried. Food was ok … atmosphere lacks considering being in a Disney hotel and all the other experiences. A solid option if you need it, but not top of the list if you have other options to consider.
Just had a rather mediocre experience from top to bottom. We had a reservation for 6:00 PM, but we were all hungry due to a long travel day, so we showed up 30 minutes early. We were hoping they could seat us early if the place wasn’t busy. The place wasn’t busy, (there were plenty of open tables that could have fit us) but for seemingly no good reason they didn’t accommodate our request. Not a great start. Before ordering, we asked if they had a small side of Mariana for the buttered noodles. They said they could offer a bit of the turkey bolognese, which seemed like it would work great. When they brought the noodles, they brought a giant serving of sauce and charged us $8 for it. This would have been enough sauce for 4+ pasta dishes. I much would have preferred a heads up about the size/cost, and would have gladly paid $2-$3 for 10-15% of the amount they brought. They also forgot my daughter’s meal, and clearly rushed to bring out a “replacement”. It came 10 minutes after all the other plates. They agreed to take it off the bill, but only after being asked - the right move in my book would have been for them to proactively offer the refund. I personally wouldn’t go back, and if our experience is par for the course, I don’t think you would be sad for skipping this spot.

Food was just ok. I placed an order for my teenager who was asleep in the room. I wanted it to go and placed it at the same time as my order. The waiter forgot to put the order in and the kitchen closed. Left my son with absolutely nothing to eat. I was very disappointed and was not offered anything to compensate. Not even a drink comped. Just a simple sorry. I was baffled. The hostess was also not very polite.
We decided to visit after we had been at the park all day. We didn’t have to wait long to be seated however the service from there was extremely disappointing. Our server came she asked we’re we ready to order we said yes so she took our drink order then went. She came back 5 minutes later with our drinks and then she rushed off again I was surprised as we had said we were ready to order when she took the drink order. She came back the third time to take our food order. We never got offered any water for our table yet all the other tables were offered bottles of water. When our meals came I was surprised my French fries were stone cold, I asked for hot fries as they were cold she made us feel uncomfortable with the fact I complained the chips were cold. They did bring back my fries ( the same ones) just put back in the deep fryer . Extremely overcooked we never ate them. I did get the rib eye sandwich and omg it was so good. My partner got the ribs he wasn’t a fan but did eat half my sandwich and loved it. We would have got desert and stayed longer but with the unfriendly atmosphere and poor quality of the chips we decided to leave. It was really unpleasant and took around 15minutes to be able to pay our bill after we got the check from the server as the server was no where to be seen. Disappointed as we travelled from overseas and had seen on YouTube about how great it was but our experience was not the best.
This place was so cute and u couldn’t wait to try it! Can here with my mom, brother and best friend. I ordered the Mexican coffee and it was awful tasted spicy so I complained they were willing to change it out, but I just said no thank you because mom and best friend also didn’t enjoy their coffees. We order food I get blueberry pancakes… underwhelming. We ordered the pigs in a blanket…. The pancake was not cooked on the first bite. Honorable mentions the chilequiles, the brioche French toast and the chicken and donuts but they still weren’t good enough to get us to come back.
My family and I were disappointed with the food. For example, the chicken and donuts was soggy which we could not eat. The ceasar salad was just okay. We ordered takeout and the utensils was missing from the bag which caused a return trip from hotel room. Not too far of a walk but annoying. We would not recommend.
This place is so hit or miss. The first time my husband and I came here, we fell in love with the atmosphere, service, and food. The cauliflower hummus is amazing. I think that's what I come back for honestly. Every other time, our food order gets brought out incorrectly. Usually it's only a couple things. But today, EVERYTHING kept being brought out wrong. Our server would forget to bring stuff out and just seemed rushed when we reminded him (couple of drinks and spoons for our coffees). I asked him what came on the vegan all American breakfast and I don't actually think he knew. I'm allergic to avocado, and what do you know was on it that he forgot to tell me about? Avocado toast. Now my appetite is ruined for my food. I would only recommend this place for takeout honestly. That's the only time my order has been correct. Also, our server started acting visibly annoyed with us when we would ask for anything. He dropped our check off and didn't ask us if we had a magic key for discounts. Then acted annoyed when told him we had one. I feel like this place has an insane turnover rate, and they aren't actually training servers correctly.
Food was good, but service was very slow at 1 pm with a mostly empty restaurant. The waiter seemed overwhelmed. Only the bus staff noticed we were missing place settings and gave us some. We got the missing place setting ourselves. Pasadena location was much better.
Came here on Thanksgiving hoping for a nice dinner. The hostess and our waiter were incredibly friendly and gave prompt, attentive service. I wish the food quality matched the staff quality. Me and my partner got the chicken and donuts from the all day brunch menu and our kid got the buttered noodles with parmesean and grilled chicken. The food here is not cheap, our meal with non-alcoholic drinks and an appetizer was over $100. The glazed donuts were dry and stale. The chicken tasted like it was fried in old oil. It was quite dark, dry, and had a slight weird after taste. My kid couldn't finish her buttered noodles. They were super dry and lacked flavor.
Stephanie our server was absolutely wonderful. She was friendly, attentive and made the experience enjoyable. The food was just okay and extremely overpriced. The atmosphere is nice but overall I left feeling the value was not there.
Food was good but very expensive. Service was poor, the servers came by infrequently and brought the food without any utensils or napkins, had to flag them down to ask for cutlery. When we tried to ask if they accepted Disney coupons the server stooped over, leaned towards us and raised his voice like an irate teacher would lecture a child.
Ribs where good, burger was average and the lemon pasta leaves something to be desired. With the price scale and being in my resort hotel and being in Disney I expect at least decent service. He got our orders incorrect both times, one with drinks some how mixed up Iced Tea with Sprite, then left shrimp on a plate that was expressly ordered with to not have shrimp. It was not busy and our server after drinks and ordering checked on us twice one of which was to give us our check. We got straws from and woman that seemed to be doing all his work, she was also the one that brought us our meals. How ever I did see him stop to speak with the same coworker no less than 7 times each time longer than the total the time of the few times we saw him at our table. Even though this is the resurant at my hotel I WILL NOT be eating there again. I know my servers name but do not post such things publicly.
Update 9/2024 - After a third visit, the food and service continues to be subpar. You cannot be charging these prices and then deliver lukewarm food, stale doughnuts and have us sitting around for fifteen minutes after being seated. Original Review: Living in Anaheim and having been to and a fan of both the San Diego and Newport locations, I thought someone was playing a joke on me when it was first announced that Great Maple was coming to essentially my backyard. I've always considered going to the other locations as a nice treat for ourselves since it has always been a great experience. You can imagine my disappointment after not getting the same experience at the new Anaheim location. This location has some kinks to iron out. We made a reservation via the Disneyland app a few days in advance and checked in when we arrived via the app as well. We received a text to hang out and after ten minutes past our reservation time, we went to the desk to inquire how much longer and were then seated immediately. It seems the staff either hasn't been trained on the Disneyland app check-in process or they simply refuse to acknowledge it. The restaurant was not busy at ~1:45 PM on a Sunday, for reference for the rest of this review. Service was subpar, we were seated for about ten minutes before anyone came over and we could tell this was going to be an issue so we ordered everything at once. We watched as food came out from the kitchen and continuously was brought to the wrong table, including our own food. When we did receive our order (before our drinks), we noticed the chilaquiles portion was SIGNIFICANTLY smaller than the portion at the other locations. We knew this because we usually split the dish and can barely finish between the two of us. Here in Anaheim, it wasn't even close. I get the Disney tax where everything is going to be more expensive on property, but you cannot shrink the portion too, pick one or the other. Our waiter only came by once or twice to check on things, no drink refills, a lot of what appeared to be managers walking the floor who didn't bother to come over to us at any point unlike the other locations. A really deflating experience, and more expensive than usual to add insult to injury. I'm sure we'll give this location another shot in the future but these issues need to be worked out. It's really surprising since the other locations operate like well oiled machines. TLDR - Expensive, small portions and poor service.
Sadly we had a bad experience at this place back in jun 30th . We had big expectations . Not trying to be mean but food tasted like it came from hometown buffet and our server never checked on us . I didn’t sense team play between the service people . I just hope that the Manager(chef) changed the menu by now and talked to his/her team.
Run, don’t walk to get away from this place as quick as you can. We had a 6:30 reservation, checked in at 6:10. 6:40 they tell me they are getting a table ready now. They end up giving our table to another large party that arrived after us. Good was ice cold, one of our guests didn’t even get his drink (water) for almost an hour. Definitely not the Disney quality, especially when staying in the Pixar Signature suite.
Choose a different restaurant! The waiter was absolutely horrible. We had a large group and as we were ordering the guy actually told us to speed things up and we definitely did not take our time. When asking simple questions about what was on the menu, he told us, “what’s on the menu, is on the menu”. He was rude to our children and never checked on us. We received half of our food before we received our drinks. We had to ask for water, ordered a bottle of wine and came out with a few glasses they seemed skimped on, never seeing the bottle its self. The food was definitely sub-par and my wife got food poisoning, puking in the hotel! I see mostly 5 star reviews, but if those can be compared to what we have experienced, never again! The manager did give us 35% off and some complimentary donuts, but that was to little, to late. Oh yes, we had reservations and came on time, only to be seated 30 mins later, when there wasn’t even a wait. I normally do not give reviews on bad places, normally paying my bill and leaving. But, I wanted to warn you!
I called and spoke to the host and they advised there was only a 15-20 min wait. I then walked in and they immediately asked if we had a reservation. They didn’t even bother to greet us. They said there was a longer wait because they were changing their floor plan but had tons of tables open. We decided to go elsewhere because of how rude both hostess were amongst our arrival. This restaurant should hire more welcoming employees considering they’re on Disney Dr with tons of diverse people.
One star for the decor and pineapple juice. 1. The hostess was fine, but we both stood and looked at one of the waiters play on his phone (they just opened for dinner so it pretty empty). 2. Not solo dinner friendly. I waited 20mins for a waiter and watched larger parties get helped first even though I had a reservation for 5pm right as they open…….. 3. The portraits of the Pixar characters were the highlight. 4. The waiter was nice, but I do not recommend this restaurant or the food at all. I had a better time at Downtown Disney.
Food was subpar & service terrible. Frozen fish and poorly cooked seafood dish, dry meatloaf and bland salmon. Salads and entrees arrived within 3 minutes of each other - so disappointing
A 90 minute limit is ridiculous for any resaturant considering prices they are charging. Also, I have never been charged an additional $2 because I asked for a drink to be served without ice, neat.
I called in advance to confirm that Great Maple would be serving a holiday themed meal for Thanksgiving. We reserved a table for four at one of their last seatings of the night. The restaurant was mostly empty and didn’t have any vibes of the rest of the park or the hotel. It was really stark and kind of like beach themed weirdly enough? Our server was friendly enough, but rushed. The menu options were two prefix meals, one ham and one turkey. The turkey meal came with Cajun gravy. The gravy ruined the entire plate of food. I don’t think they meant for it to taste only like black pepper. It was truly inedible. Nobody ate their dinner. We left about five minutes after being served our plates of food and asked for boxes. The desserts that we took home and ate the next morning were very good. I tried to contact Disney guest services for assistance with some sort of partial refund because the meal cost over $200 and it was inedible. They let me know that the park is not associated directly with the hotel restaurant. This was also very weird to me since I booked the entire thing through the Disneyland Park app and called Disneyland guest services to confirm that the menu would be holiday themed. Disney guest services told me to contact Great Maple directly for assistance. I used their contact us form on their website and never heard a single word back. I canceled the Disney character dinner option for the Great Maple because I have older children and thought we would enjoy the sit down experience with less children. I highly regret this decision. Every bite of food at the park was better than every bite of food that we were served at Great Maple if you’re going for the holidays, do not waste your time with this restaurant.
Horrible experience within seconds of being seated RUDE!!!! Nasty !!!! Attitude!! Extremely unprofessional he seem to be hung over or still intoxicated took his sweet time to take Our orders intentionally after I said we where ready to order I am hungry he reply me to and walk away we where speechless like it’s this really happening at Disney he just didn’t care and seem he didn’t even want to be there he continue to make the experience extremely bad this place it’s poorly run they don’t know what they are doing food kept on coming to our table when we didn’t even order yet the ladies bringing out the food they were wonderful the issue was the male he is making this restaurant loosed the Disney magic food was not the greatest for the high prices and horrible service better off eating at the park you will get the Disney magic experience and yummy tasty hot Food also the melt bacon was hard like beef Jerkey when ask for a refill it was no longer sprite it was like if he when and dip the cup in the toilet nasty taste the left me nauseas for the rest of my Disney day…
We had breakfast there in July. The restaurant was nearly empty which should have been a clue. The decor was puzzling as the name invokes images of the woods and warm cozy things. The decor is a confusing mix of modern and Victorian. The service was very slow despite it not being busy at all. The server was not attentive. A drink was spilled and he never noticed and couldn’t be found to ask for help. We ordered the French toast, the avocado toast and scrambled eggs. None of it was good! Not of it was even warm. The eggs were cold and rubber. The French toast was under done in the middle. And the avocado toast had so little avocado spread on it. Absolutely not worth it. I expect better of a place on Disney property.
Some of the worse service I ever got. Ordered an ice latte and got hot. Was told I would get a free one even though I didn’t bring it up that he messed up. Still got charged for the 2nd one. I ordered a plate that never came even after I let them know I was missing my food. Everyone seems like they had a bad attitude I can’t believe this is a Disney restaurant.
Surprised by the outcome of a place that is soo good everywhere else. Inside the Pixar Hotel where we have been enjoying Birthdays and Disneyland for 3 days until this place on our way to the airport. First there is no smiles or welcome. Our server was probably the worst I have ever witnessed. It seemed like we were an inconvenience? Which is crazy with the prices they give. No service and when it finally came she was not happy. Nobody came and ask how was everything? We had to get our own silverware and nobody picked up our plates. It was horrible. Asking for simple maple syrup and getting a deer in headlights faces. The only reason why we did call the manager is I haven't seen my brother in a year and didn't want to spoil a good day. Find another place, they hire strange and unfriendly people at a Disneyland hotel of all places. Nobody seems to care or want you there.
I went into the Great maple for the first time on 11/17/25. I wish I could say I had a good experience. My friend and I enjoy going to the parks and trying new foods. We decided to try great Maple since we hadn’t tried the hotel restaurants yet. The atmosphere was great. I loved the decorations for the holidays, it all looks so beautiful. Unfortunately our waiter took about half an hour to get to our table. He was an older gentleman, he didn’t introduce himself so I didn’t catch his name, I thought that was odd because a couple tables over he introduced himself and mentioned he had been working in the restaurant industry for years. He started off by asking if we liked the decoration and I said yes, he said he doesn’t like any holidays and that the manager made someone work overnight to hang everything up. We took a bit in ordering our food, once ordered we had the Mac and cheese which was delicious. We tried to order a drink in the cute seasonal bear cups but the waiter said that they were unavailable right now because the manager kept selling the cups and didn’t order any on time. Once it was time to place our order I asked if they make any modifications to their dishes, I was interested in having the Hash but wanted it without mushroom and the eggs done differently, he said they don’t allow any modifications to any dishes. I went on to order the CAL salad and my friend got the fried Chicken sandwich. The salad was ok, the chicken sandwich was not so much. It tasted like fish so they might be frying the chicken and fish in the same oil. A manager walked by and checked on us and dropped off a seasonal drink menu. I decided to get the hot chocolate. We asked for our bill and once he comes over so I can pay he tells us that their manager had just gave them this new seasonal drink menu and that they had no training so he has no idea what is on it. Throughout our experience he forgot a couple things we had asked for and didn’t really check in on us. It felt like we were more of a burden and when he would come to us he would off load his feelings about the manager which made us very uncomfortable. We did end up speaking to the manager after our experience and she listened and apologized for the service we had just received. The manager ended up rectifying the situation and that’s when we noticed that we had also been over charged. When the waiter came over so I can pay he didn’t give me an option to leave a tip. I usually leave cash but in this situation I wasn’t planning on leaving any tip based on our experience. My total on my receipt was $101 and I was charged $120. If you plan on dining here be sure to double check the amount you are charged for. It was a very uncomfortable experience, not sure I recommend this spot, which is unfortunately because the hotel is beautiful and the restaurant it’s self as well. Not sure we will be back. I edited after speaking to my husband and he suggested not omitting in the over charged situation, we wouldn’t want that happening to any other guests
