We experience much better service here than at Cathay lounge Food is ok, large portions of basically appetizers. Perhaps healthier than fast food options. Reasonably priced considering it’s a theme park. It fills you for another go at the park, and you do it in a cool place.

Excellent location for drinks and a snack. You can walk up and put yourself on the wait list. We waited 20 minutes. The seating area and bar overlook the lagoon and the incredicoaster and nearby rides. A very fun environment. They have very fun, colorful and delicious drinks for both adults and children. Friendly staff and they helped us navigate allergies for a party member. Highly recommend and I look forward to visiting again.

We typically visit for lunch, but we tried brunch this visit. Don't miss it! The food is a delicious and it was a great way to start our day at the park. The french toast and the mimosa flight were really good, but I definitely recommend the Chilaquiles!

Absolutely our favorite place to make reservations and enjoy brunch in DCA! We loved both times we went and enjoyed an amazing brunch and drinks. We sat in the patio with a panoramic waterfront view which was amazing! They have a creative cocktail menu which we love to order from. For non alcoholic try the Infinity Fizz which is so fun to drink.

Great location (by the lake). The food was actually REALLY good. The vegan burger was one of the best I've ever tasted. To top it all up, our bartender Chris was awesome and very skilled.

The menu just changed and it is all so good. The only issue we had was being seated outside made the potato skins cold rather quickly. I got the Chicken Saltado and it was cooked very well, and had plenty of seasoning. Not pictured is the Brussels sprouts my partner got, and he said they are the BEST Brussels sprouts he's ever had. He even went to far as to get a manager to tell them such. There's a paprika aioli that you should ask for, too. It came with the potato skins, but if you get fries or other dippables, thats the best.

Lamplight lounge, located at Pixar Pier in Disney California Adventure, is one of the most popular sit down restaurants in the park, and reservations are often hard to get. You’ll need to keep refreshing the app to snag a spot. Recently, when the World of Color show was closed (from 9/9 to 10/22/2024), it was a bit easier to get reservations around dinnertime. However, now that the show is back, trying to walk in without a reservation will likely result in no available tables. We got lucky during our visit for the Oogie Boogie Halloween Party and managed to grab a 4PM reservation (the restaurant closes at 6 PM on event nights). One of the highlights here is the Lobster Nachos, famous for a reason! At $26, a bit pricey but definitely worth it. The restaurant also offers a great selection of beers. My husband was torn between two choices: Pizza Port Honey Blonde Ale from San Clemente, CA, and Mother Earth Cali Creamsicle from San Diego, CA. The server was super nice and brought him two small samples to try before deciding. We both voted for the Cali Creamsicle at $15. As for drinks, my cousin and I each got a non-alcoholic 2319 ($8), a refreshing mix of strawberry, coconut milk, pineapple, and Coke—so good! With the sunny weather and the backdrop of the Incredicoaster and Ferris wheel, it’s a perfect spot for snapping some photos. It’s also a great place to relax, people-watch, and take a break. Definitely a spot worth checking out!

Don't skip the panzanela salad! I cannot stop thinking about how delicious it was and I've spent my time back home trying to recreate it! Booked our reservation well in advance so we were able to walk right in, sat outside with a fantastic view.

My wife and I were here for our anniversary trip and decided on the Lamplight Lounge for dinner. That was an excellent idea! After having spent an entire day in the park and being extremely tired, we arrived and were seated immediately. That was a good start. Our server came over in a short manner and took our requisite water order. We already knew what we wanted and got the Lobster Nachos and Salmon Poke for appetizers and we both ordered the Salmon PLT with fries. The nachos and poke were on our table in about 10 minutes and were amazing! The Nacho ratio of Lobster to chips to toppings was beyond phenomenal and they were extremely tasty to boot! The Poke was amazing and had a great amount of both Salmon and accouterments. Our sandwiches were next and did not disappoint. The salmon was prefectly cooked and mixed well with the pancetta and aioli. The fries were pretty solid as well! The atmosphere of the restaurant was lively and fun and was very well appointed with Pixar memorabilia. Overall, if we were going to be in California Adventure again, we will definitely be back!

Wonderful experience here. Suck a beautiful view of the park, water and Mickey Ferris wheel. Food was delicious and extremely reasonably priced. The pork belly bao buns were the perfectly sweet and spicy, and the pork belly itself was so tender. My kiddos got cute little kids meals that were well worth the price and tasted great too.

We checked in on the app and were happy to get a spot pretty quickly. I got a mocktail and it was a fun little soda drink but we also got a drink like an iron mule drink but it was a pretty strong drink ;). Great refreshing outside seating area at the bar with plenty of cute pictures and friendly staff all around ready to help you. I loved this little eatery and definitely want to try more here.

Updated to 5 stars - Review / visit Sept. 2021 Fantastic food & drinks! The lobster nachos were on par this visit! The potato skins and cheddar burger & fries were also delicious. It was a little tricky getting a dining reservation. If possible, book your reservation prior to your trip so you can coordinate it with your park reservation (for the California Adventure park). Review / visit Sept. 2019 - We have really loved this place in the past and this time it seemed to be lacking a little our last visit. We have always loved the lobster nachos and they were just a little off this last time. Kids love the fun drinks - Infinity Fizz is always a favorite. Chicken tenders are grilled, not breaded (1 kid likes them, my other does not). Burger slider was good (it's a slider so it's small). We love the location on the pier.

I love Lamplight Lounge. We often go here for drinks and at times dine in for the food. The food is so delicious 🍔and yes the open ocean is the best drink there, I hugely recommend it!!! 🫢✨The decor is so pretty for all the Pixar Fans🩵 the service is always on point and quick! You do have to wait outside or get in the wait list to be seated.

This is a beautiful place to eat with an awesome menu, and an unbeatable view of the Pixar pier across the water. The menu is unique and delicious. We had the Al pastor pork chop and the nacho fries. Both were perfect and well-portioned. The service was impeccable. Also, you can stand at the bar out back for some cocktails even without waiting for the main restaurant. The bartenders are quick and friendly, and the drinks were very refreshing on a 90F day.

Shout out to Nadine (and ESPECIALLY Ariel who checked on us constantly and made sure we had everything we needed) for the extremely top notch customer service. Food tasted great and was served quickly as well. Chill/relaxing atmosphere. Please make sure Ariel gets recognized for being such a hard/good worker and kind person.

The food was remarkable. I had the cheeseburger, it came with hand cut fries and pickled vegetables. My husband's Ratatouille was, hands down, the best thing I've eaten at the Disneyland Resort. The coffee table and couches for patio seating was comfortable and relaxing, especially with the water reflecting and dancing on the ceiling of the gazebo we were sitting under. Highly recommend the Bloody Mary. Lobster nachos also pretty tasty. Everything was great and we all enjoyed our meal, three adults, two children.

What a grear view from where we were seated. I am amazed that thr food quality in thr park has dramatically gotten better since I visited 6yrs ago. The Brussels sprout was perfectly seasoned. The rosemary chicken was very tender and nice presentation with mushroom and sweet peas. The kids liked their mini burger amd came with a complimentary milk which was nice. The price was reasonable as well. Came out to be just under $100 for 2adults and 2kids

As a frequent visitor of the parks I had been trying to get a reservation here from all the rave reviews I had heard. I didn't manage to get a reservation but tried my luck with the walk up waitlist and was lucky to get my name down. My party of 2 only waited 15 minutes to be seated. We were lucky enough to be seated where the view was amazing. We started our order off with mocktails, the 2319 and Mint to Be. Both were refreshing and honestly I didn't miss the alcohol. For brunch we ordered the chilaquiles plated and Challah French Toast. When our plates arrived we were blown away by the portions! Not only was the portion worth every $$$ but the flavors and quality were on par. If you have an opportunity of making a reservation, do it! It's worth the experience.

Luis the water guy was nice and helpful. Went here for brunch expecting the lobster nachos but those are apparently only available in the afternoon? We split the burger instead and that was tasty but messy and small (for the price). The 2319 drink is incredible and worth getting

I love the Lamplight Lounge at California Adventure. The food is incredible, the service is amazing, and the atmosphere is the best in the park. I normally go for lunch or dinner and yes, the Lobster Nachos are a must. But I tried brunch and it's equally as delicious. The drinks are yummy and they offer both cocktails and mocktails. Make a reservation because walk-up can be a long wait if available at all.

This is always a must-stop on my Disney trips! I’ve been 3 times now for both the lunch and brunch menu. My personal preference it towards lunch for the absolute must-have lobster nachos. Yes, they are as good as everyone says. The drinks are creative and fun, plus if you’re lucky enough to be seated in the secret room, The Office, then you’re sure to have an awesome time!

Good spot near the water. Greeted by amicable staff, quick service. Food was decent, price is obviously fairly high. Meat was okay, nothing special. Cauliflower was decent with the sauces. Lobster nachos were good, chips were crisp and not stale. Ordered a martini and seemed watered down and needed more flavor from bitters.

I think it's safe to say that no matter who we're with, whether it's a party of 2 or 15 ppl, Lamplight Lounge is a MUST when at DCA aside from DD DTF, of course! ºoº Although they've switch the menu around a bit and offer our favorite "Lobster Nachos" at LL Boardwalk only. Also, just about a year ago, they added Dole Whip (shot or cocktail) in the "not so secret" menu which is my usual aside from 2319 :) Great friendly staff all around wherever you're seated: LL Boardwalk, Lounge or Bar ºoº

Our server JJ was exceptional! Great options for kids and delicious entrees for adults. The nachos can be had with lobster, chicken, or steak. We will definitely repeat!

After seeing many influencers going to The Lamplight Lounge on socialmedia, we HAD to make it a priority during our 1st Disneyland California Adventure trip. We enjoyed Lamplight Lounge (downstairs) so much 1 day that we visited LL Boardwalk (upstairs) the next day. Main difference is the appetizer options - they shared some drinks. The potato skins at LL and lobster nachos at LLB were DELICIOUS!! definitely our favorite food at DCA.

My family and I really enjoyed the lamplight lounge in California Adventure. We were seated by the takeoff point for Incredicoaster, so we got to listen to people’s screams of joyous terror as we ate. The food was really good. We were there for brunch. My daughters got the Lamplight French Toast and really enjoyed the chai flavor. I got the lamplight chilaquiles. They were delicious. It had a great sauce, and the addition of the fried egg and avocado really added depth to the plate. They were far better than chilaquiles I’ve gotten at many other restaurants. I’ve definitely had better chilaquiles, but not often. I would definitely eat here again.

Honestly can't say enough about the food and location. My pork chop was amazing, better than the one I had at Carthay Circle two days later. My family raved about the lobster nachos (not being a seafood person, I didn't have any). I had heard they were small, but they definitely were not. The view across the water is just gorgeous too, especially around sunset. Service was practically nonexistent, though. They were pretty rude at check-in, and then they didn't offer us any straws for our waters or really pay us much mind at all during our meal. Regardless, wasn't a big enough deal to ruin what was otherwise a very nice meal.

This place was awesome. We made reservations for the latest possible dinner, 730p. They sat us right away. Our server was super understanding that we were slowly ordering items. Yes, we were holding out for the world of color. The food was great. Recommend the lobster nachos. They did a last call at 840p and just by chance the area overlooking the pier opened and our server invited us to take those seats. Yes, it was fantastic. Thank you for making both my daughter's first time to California Adventure so memorable.

Lamplight Lounge provided us a near perfect meal. I can honestly say that every dish we ordered was great. The service was excellent as we got our water cups constantly refilled which is important to consider on a dehydrated Disney trip. They also had these cute disney themed coasters that we decided to keep as souvenirs. Our server even gave us extras that had additional designs. We ordered the Potato skins, Chicken saltado, Charbroiled Cheddar burger and the Vietnamese BBQ pork chop. No complaints for any of these dishes as they were each good in their own way. The Potato skins were crispy with some chewiness and paired really well with the yogurt and aioli sauces. The citrus marinated chicken in the Chicken saltado was juicy and tender and the accompanied Aji sauce brought the dish to life. I usually don't go for chicken dishes because the chicken ends up being dry but I'm glad to have made an exception for this. The Charbroiled cheddar burger was cooked to medium-rare perfection and the sharpness of the cheddar complimented the beef flavor well. The fries it came with were crispy and flavorful. To be honest, the BBQ flavor of the Vietnamese BBQ pork chop didn't taste special as someone who's eaten his fair share of Asian barbeque meats, but it's really hard to knock this dish when the spicy garlic noodles are this flavorful. The noodles more than make up for the mediocre flavor of the pork chop. Overall, I think your Disney trip would be incomplete without a visit to Lamplight Lounge in Pixar Pier. The service and food were both excellent and definitely made our trip better. Just remember to make reservations.

My wife and I had a meal of Lobster Nachos and a drink called 2319 (non-alcoholic) while spending a nice summer day at Disneyland. The Lobster Nachos were bomb! I would definitely eat that over and over again. The drink had an interesting taste to it, but not my style.

J
Jenine Slocum

The food here was the best we’ve had so far. I would say even better than Blue Bayou. I have food allergies, and the two options they had available for me were soooo great! I ordered one item and my sweet husband ordered the other allergy friendly item and we shared. Oh boy were they good! And the mango lemonade was to die for! Thank you for a wonderful experience and brunch

Everything here was outstanding! The donuts in my mind were smaller than they should be, but they closed out the meal quite nicely. The drinks were beautifully crafted, and the entrees just tied everything together. If you can get a seat out on the dock it has some of the most amazing views. The sun setting while eating this amazing food will be one of my most memorable times at California Adventure. Get the drink, get the special, and enjoy the moment. Even if the meal uses up all of your Disney Reward points.

Went to DCA on Christmas Eve, booked a table at 8pm hoping to catch World of Colour show during dinner, checked in around 7:45pm, table ready around 8pm. Everything was great! Food: we ordered the potato skins as appie, we all loved it! Both our kids ordered Cheeseburger with fries, they love it, I ordered Prime Rib, medium rare, cooked perfectly. My wife had a cocktail and dessert since she’s a sweet tooth, everything is great! Service, our server is very attentive, nothing to complain about! Atmosphere, Amazing! Just remember to book ahead online if you would like to watch the world of colour, I believe we booked 2-3 months ahead since it is Christmas and remember to check in earlier and let the receptionist know you would like to have a table that can watch the show at 9pm. If you go during winter, remember to bring a jacket, they have heater pretty much right above you but it can still get quite chilly at night. For the two nights in Disney, we had lunch at Wine Country Trattoria, dinner at River Belle Terrace and Lamplight Lounge, we love Lamplight Lounge the most!

This is one of my favorite places to dine in Disney California Adventure! I was lucky to get a finally get a Brunch reservation and I was not disappointed. Had the Frittata bake and the seasonal donuts and 😋 so worth it!!! The current seasonal donuts make them taste like mini cinnamon rolls! Perfect to share with someone. The space is a bit loud, but the ambiance is incredible with all of the decor. Service was great and friendly...can't wait to go again!

We ended up at this spot almost by chance - it was one of the very few places in the area where we could get a table for two in the evening without a reservation. Luckily, we waited no more than 10 minutes. The restaurant is located right by the water, and the seating feels relaxing and breezy. Light curtains offer some shade from the sun, making the atmosphere quite pleasant. The menu is relatively limited, but there are a few solid options. I had the Chicken Saltado, which came with three generous pieces of chicken: thigh, breast, and drumstick, served in a flavorful sauce with onions and just a small amount of potatoes. Honestly, I would’ve appreciated a bit more of a side to balance out the large portions of chicken. The burger was decent, nothing extraordinary, but satisfying. It only came with fries on the side - no alternative options. I also tried the Goofball Island drink, which didn’t really impress me. It tasted more like a sweet bottled beverage than a freshly made cocktail. One helpful tip: if you have an annual pass, don’t forget that you get a small discount at the restaurant. Just show the barcode you use to enter the park when you pay.

We went here right at the opening of the boardwalk seating. It took us about 15 minutes without a reservation. The service was soild with someone refilling our waters ever 5 minutes or so. I got the obligatory Lobster Nachos. My wife got fish tacos, and my daughter got a kids cheeseburger. The Nachos were so large that even sharing them I took about half back to the hotel for later. If I had to guess at least 3 lobsters died to bring me this meal and I could not have been more thankful for their sacrifice. According to the waiter they operate just about 24/7 to make sure then have enough lobster cooked and peeled for the next days orders. 10/10 will allow lobster death for my gain again.

Perfect place for a great meal in the middle of California Adventure that also provides a getaway from the crowds. I’ve always wanted to try Lamplight and we were able to snag a last minute lunch reservation. Reservations are an absolute must here. The restaurant stretches out over the water with wonderful views of the park all around. We loved the appetizers! Specifically, the potato skins and bao buns. They also have a pretty solid drink menu and you can take drinks to go with you when you leave into the park. This is a wonderful way to take a break from the busy park and enjoy a nice meal and drink. Service was excellent. Loved it and absolutely recommend if you’re spending the day at California Adventure.

We were at the “boardwalk” upstairs. Outdoor seating with stunning views, especially for us as we were seated on the outer balcony looking directly at Ferris wheel. Great for 4pm appetizers!! Would be disappointing for dinner (no real entrees). Cauliflower bites were tasty, nice flavor. Fish tacos were good, but wish the fish was grilled instead of deep fried. Delicious lobster nachos, though definitely needs more toppings!! There should never be dry chips in nachos… Those 3 dishes for 4 adults was enough! Held us over for about 3-4 hours Overall highly recommend for an appetizer/bar type feel, if that’s what you’re going for

I ate here multiple times during my extended Disneyland trip. The lobster Nacho’s here are fantastic! There is some actual culinary excellence when it comes to the lobster nachos. The rest of the menu is on the slightly pricier side of Disneyland but the food is also that much better. This is a great place to take a break from California Adventure and kind of take your time and reset mid day. During the day the upstairs Patio furniture seating is so comfortable and chill. During the evening I have a front row seat to the nightly Color show and overall every experience was great. I wish it had more actual Pixar theming than just the Lamplight logo on entry. My only grip is this restaurant has no real theming and feels like your at Red Lobster and not Disneyland

First time experience, soooo great! We were seated at the bar in the boardwalk dining area. Fantastic food, drinks and service! I had the fish tacos, outstanding and waaay bigger than I expected. My husband (celiacs and vegan) had the cauliflower wings, amazing flavor! We tried the hero work cocktail, tasty and refreshing on a hot day. They even have a secret menu. Had a great time, we will return!

I had an incredible experience dining at the Lamplight Lounge! The salad with goat cheese, persimmons, homemade croutons, and squash with added chicken was so delicious! The drinks were outstanding and the best cocktails I’ve had in Disneyland. I would recommend booking an online reservation ahead of time due to it getting quite busy. The location is right on paradise pier with a gorgeous view of the park and waterfront. The bartenders were so friendly and down to earth. Would definitely be back for the amazing food and drink, outstanding service, and great atmosphere!

If there’s one place that you should visit in Disney’s California adventure this is the place. The lineups are incredibly long. It’s very difficult to get into, with your best bet to make an online dining reservation and take no matter what time they give you. If you get a chance to sit at the bar, that is the best place ever, because the bartenders are so friendly, especially Chris and Lila. At the bar, you’ll get a chance to see all the drinks that they make and don’t forget there is actually a hidden drink menu which the bartenders will make drinks from based on what you like if you tell them, I guess it’s sort of their secret hidden menu? As for the food selection, the menu is very limited, but the prime rib is a stand out. It is delicious, has a good portion size and it’s a great value at $40. I would personally avoid the beers since you can get beers anywhere and go for the mixed cocktails. The wine selection also is not badly priced. For this visit, I ended up with a bottle of rosé. There is also a secret dining room for groups of five or more, but you have to request it only when you get there and only if it’s available.

Wow wow wow! We had a party of 7 and we got lucky enough to dine in the private room. It was such a treat! There were board games for the kids, two tables, and a wonderful balcony with a view of the Incredicoaster and the Ferris Wheel. The food and drinks were also fantastic. For drinks, the adults were partial to the Cobra Hiss cocktail and the kids liked the 2319. The chicken was a perfect dinner after a long day of snacking at the parks.

Had to try the famous Lobster nachos so we popped in after making a reservation a few weeks in advance. I would have to say the nachos were very delicious BUT not sure they are worth cost. We also ordered the fish tacos which were incredibly underwhelming. Too much batter and no fish. Flavor was so-so. But definitely would recommend the nachos. The lobster was a plenty. Location is great and the service was amazing.

We loved our experience at DCA’s Lamplight Lounge. We booked our table ahead of time for 8:20pm and we were seated at a table on the water. So we had an amazing view for the World of Color show. We ordered drinks and food as soon as we sat down. Service was quick, friendly and good. I will note that the kitchen & bar closes just before the 9pm show, so you need to order all you want for through the show beforehand. I highly recommend the whole experience! We ordered the mini burgers and the fish tacos to share. I loved the fish tacos. The burgers were just OK. We ordered specialty drinks from the bar menu. Our drinks were very good! I definitely recommend getting a late reservation because the show made the whole experience extra special!!!

I have been here a few times, but this was my first time in 3 years. I felt the menu was hard, but now it has changed and it’s so much better. The Brussels Caesar was so good we want to come back just to get them. The potato skins were also very special. The drink menu is fun and there are so many options. I will say, I feel like it is not as decorated and special as I remember, not sure if it’s leaning more toward adults and lounge style(it’s in the name duh) but it’s definitely less cute and exciting than I remember. I would still come again though!

The Lamplight Lounge at Disneyland California Adventure stands out as a unique destination with its full bar, offering a refreshing array of adult beverages not commonly found within the park. Our visit encompassed both brunch and dinner experiences. Brunch was a true highlight, featuring a delightful array of dishes that left a lasting impression. However, the dinner offerings fell short in comparison, with a somewhat limited selection. It's important to note that reservations are typically necessary, although spontaneous walk-ins may find luck on occasion. Lamplight Lounge remains a convenient choice for guests seeking a relaxed dining experience accompanied by a well-crafted cocktail while exploring Disneyland California Adventure.

Everything was good. We were in a large groups so it made it a little difficult for them to accommodate all of us, but they did a good job and the food and service once sitting was amazing. I highly recommend the lobster nachos, but all the other food in my group was enjoyed. The mock tails may be slightly overpriced but it's Disneyland so what can you expect.

Celebrated my birthday here with some friends, and was super excited to try out Lamplight Lounge. First of all, the Pixar-themed decor is awesome. You get to see the masterful sketches and artwork all throughout the restaurant, from the entryway chandelier above the winding staircase to the coasters underneath your drinks. Speaking of, while none of had any cocktails this visit, their mixed drinks all look and sound absolutely delicious. We were seated outside which was perfectly adequate on a 50 degree F night with their many heatlamps. For food, we ordered the lobster nachos, potato skins, salmon PLT, and burger. Lobster nachos were pretty good - I liked the kick from the chili peppers, and found the tortilla chips to be thick enough to sustain the many toppings. While the potato skins were delicious, I probably wouldn't order again. They tasted like thick hash browns, and therefore got really tiresome really fast (we didn't finish them). The salmon PLT was super delicious. Fish was perfectly cooked and worked perfectly in the sandwich form with all its accompaniments. The burger was an unfortunate pick. First off, my friend order it plain and it came out with all the toppings. They promptly took it back and sent out another order. Even though we ordered it medium rare, it came out pretty well done and was just dry and tasteless. To compensate, our server comped us the donuts, which was super nice of her. These were delicious, and I would definitely order next time. They were perfectly warm and came with some yummy dips - Nutella and raspberry. Overall I would come again for a nice dinner. The cost can be pretty pricy for what you get, but it's theme park dining so what can we really do? Be sure to snag reservations early on if you can!

The food and wine were enjoyable, but unfortunately, the service left much to be desired. Our experience started on the wrong foot with one of the hostesses at the entrance, who made it clear—loudly to her colleague—that she was counting down the hours until her shift ended. She was visibly unhappy to be there and made no effort to offer a warm welcome. Once inside, we requested a table outside, which seemed to be a major inconvenience for the staff. It took them an extra 10 minutes to arrange it, despite multiple empty tables being available. The delay felt unnecessary and unexplainable. The real disappointment, however, came at the table with our server, Sidney. She seemed to go out of her way to avoid us, making it difficult to place additional orders. We started with an appetizer and two glasses of wine, but while the appetizer arrived in just two minutes, the wine was nowhere to be seen. By the time we asked about it, we had already finished our food. Instead of addressing the issue professionally, Sidney responded with frustration, making us feel as though we were the problem. Her excuse? “The bar is super busy.” The stark contrast between this service and what we typically experience at Disney World was undeniable. Sadly, this felt like the all-too-common Disneyland service, which didn’t live up to expectations.

We were visiting Disneyland California Adventure on a Monday and around 7:30pm, we tried to eat at a few restaurants but were not able to secure a table without reservations. One of the restaurants recommended us to try the Lamplight Lounge. We put our name on a wait list and were told that the wait was 30 minutes. But we got lucky and only waited for 15 minutes to get seated in the restaurant. Lamplight Lounge serves bar food. The food menu was limited but has an extensive drink menu with variety of selections especially the cocktails. Food pricing was reasonable for a sit down restaurant at California Adventure. This restaurant is located right next to the water of Pixar Pier at Disney California Adventure. The interior is decorated with Pixar memorabilia. We sat inside at booth table, by the bar, with a bunch of cars under the glass. We have the beautiful view of the pier, the Fun Wheel, Incredicoaster and Silly Symphony Swings. The food was decent for a lounge. After our dinner, we asked the hostess if we’re able watch the World of Colors show at the restaurant. The hostess told us that they could move our group to an outdoor table so we could watch the show at our seats. The best part was that they didn’t even pressure us to buy drinks or additional food to sit outside and occupied a table. In fact, the waitstaff was so nice and brought us hot and cold water to have while waiting for the show. The restaurant actually closed their doors before the World of Color show which was at 9pm. This prevented other people at the park to rush in the restaurant just to watch the show. The World of Color show was spectacular and the little ones in our group (and the adults, too) were mesmerized and it lasted over 20 minutes. Beautiful, panoramic water view and the lovely, attentive customer service will bring us back to Lamplight Lounge when we visit Disneyland in the future.

I haven't been here for a long time and was glad to have been able to find a reservation 2 months ahead. It is so crazy how hard it is to get reservations now unless you plan ahead of time. This place packed and it looks the same as before. You get to dine right along side the waters of Pixar pier. Quite a nice place to relax and enjoy the food and drinks. Food We ordered the famous Lobster Nachos. One of the items you must get here. We also decided to give these a try too : Michelada (with Modelo) Cheese Burger Watermelon Mint Mocktail (forgot the name of it) We enjoyed everything, and loved how the steak fries were nice and hot out of the fryer. The burger was very hefty and filling, and you could order the beef the temperature that you want it. One great thing to note is that they are mindful of allergies, so make sure that you do let them know. They do give you a allergy menu, but keep note that the menu is basically just listing out what is in the menu they have instead of having a separate menu that you can order. Hope that makes sense. Would definitely go back just to relax here and get some more food and drinks, a good break for adults from the waiting in the long lines. Until next time !

It’s nice to finally write a review that won’t put a place out of business. Lamplight Lounge is definitely on the pricier side, but you’re paying for one of the best spots in Disneyland to relax and take in the scenery. Its location inside the lagoon of California Adventure makes it a fantastic place to catch the evening festivities (if you time your reservation right). The service was awesome. Our server was friendly, attentive, and genuinely made the experience enjoyable. The atmosphere is among the best you’ll find anywhere in the park, with a laid-back vibe and a perfect view of the water. Everyone in our group enjoyed their drinks, which added to the experience. The food, however, was just okay. The menu is very limited, and while the quality wasn’t bad, it was about what you’d expect from amusement park dining—not great, but not terrible either. At the end of the day, Lamplight Lounge is all about the destination. If you can, make a reservation, sit back, and enjoy yourself. The food may not wow you, but the scenery and service more than make up for it.

You need reservations even for the bar. It took less than five minutes to be seated. We only got drinks. Expect to pay between $16-20 per. Both were good. I wish they were a little boozier for the price, but they still had a decent amount. The views are great and their atmosphere is 🤌 especially seeing the Pixar Short maquettes on the way in.

Made a reservation here for lunch. My partner had the monster nachos with steak. I had the pork chop with polenta. Nachos I would rate a 4.0. The pork chop at 3.8 out of 5. A very Latin rub on the chop. Nice flavor and looked beautiful but arrived to table cool. The nachos had great cheese etc but needed some sour cream. They also arrived a bit cool. The atmosphere was kinda fun. I would not eat there again. Folks only drinking at the bar seemed to be having the best time.

Nice restaurant at DCA, not sure its worth getting a reservation. Walk ups seemed to be available. I was disappointed to hear they no longer had the lobster nachos. The potato skins were good but paled in comparison. The drinks however were wonderful. I had a Neverland (secret menu item) and my husband had an old fashioned. They were a nice pour and had a beautiful presentation

Had the burger, lobster nachos, and a pizza port blonde to wash it down. The nachos were hefty and tasty. Couldn't say the same about the burger... It would have been a lot better if the burgers bun was toasted and the onions were cooked plus a bit more sauce on the burger. The ambiance was nice.. sat at the bar, service was on point, highly recommend trying this place out.

Thanks to mousedining, we snagged a reservation. Nice atmosphere, not loud or crowded. The food was delicious, but not amazing. Lobster nachos are a crowd favorite, although, I think the jerk cornish hen was the best out of what we ordered. The drinks are unique and interesting, open ocean was very good (basically an alcoholic slushy). Also, don’t forget there’s a secret drink menu. Cheers.

We were excited to get a reservation here for our Disney Vacation. The Lobster Nachos were delicious. They had lots of lobster and it tasted great- not too fishy. But the chicken salad was mostly the core of a head of bitter tasting lettuce so was sadly more stylish than delicious and not really edible. We highly recommend the 2319- a very yummy slushy with pineapple and Coca Cola which sounded weird but tasted great!

We are greeted by server name Izzy, he is awesome ! Excellent service even though the food is badly cooked. We ordered middle prime rib but got well done prime rib which is tough to even bite. The wait is crazy too. Got message to come to the restaurant by 15mins but they made us waited for 40 mins to get the table.

Great food and service. Only drawback is that the lobster nachos can only be ordered upstairs instead of on the boardwalk. If you’re looking for a refreshing non-alcoholic drink, order the “2319.”

4 of us came during the Lunar New Year celebration at Disney California Adventure. We tried all 3 special dish: Lunar Cocktail, Coconut Pandan Donut, and Chef's Special Mongolian Beef with noodles. Reservation process is quite streamlined, make the reservation using the app, then 10 minutes prior, check in on the app and once the table is ready we receive a text message. Prices are high but normal Disney level. The lunar cocktail is very sweet 6/10. The Thai Seafood Pasta is quite spicy with small portion 7/10 The Mongolian Beef noodles is actually quite tasty with good portion 8/10 The Coconut Pandan Donuts (5 pieces) are not good at all (4/10).

We had a reservation here, and it’s a good place to come to rest and have a drink. We ordered the peachy vibes beer and the blue ocean beverage. The peachy vibes beer was really good, it was a refreshing beer with a nice subtle peach flavor. The blue ocean drink tasted similar to a blue icee at the theater, but with alcohol. Next time I visit here, my husband and I will probably both get the peachy vibes beer. The potato skins were very good. The burger was decent, my husband did not care for it though. My recommendation is to come here for some drinks and appetizers. We did have great customer service.

We got to sit on the water with a great view. My food was good even though the picture looks just okay. It was nice having a real cheeseburger in the theme park and not just a frozen patty heated up.

Great restaurant to escape from the heavy foot-traffic of the Disney Parks. The seasonal donuts were a hit for brunch. The Brunch Burger was recommended, but I found it to be a bit underwhelming. The bun was stale and the burger patty was overcooked. It was stilly tasty, but for a burger in the mid-$20 range it wasn't worth it to me. The service was excellent and overall this place a great option for full-service dining in the park.

That Food was really good flavor! We got the chicken and the hamburger. The mashed potatoes tasted amazing, the reason I gave 4 stars was cause I felt like you loose so you your full serving. For example for potatos with my chicken and you get like 3 oz of potato’s. Where did the rest of the potato go. But the food tasted amazing!!

The potato skins were pretty good, nothing out of the ordinary. Service, atmosphere, and view were great! Steph was very nice! Be careful when making your reservations because there is a Lamplight Lounge downstairs and a Lamplight Lounge Boardwalk upstairs and they have completely different menus.

Wow. This restaurant was not the experience we were expecting. We were seated outside despite our best attempts to get seated indoors and 2 words…overstimulating and loud. Repetitive elevator type music playing so loud we could barely hear each other’s conversation. Then…we sat at our table for at least 15 minutes with zero service. No drink service, nothing. That is until Izzy, a person who was not the waitperson normally allocated to our table, saved the day. Izzy was warm, friendly, responsive and made our dining experience really great. It’s such a shame because the person who then took the check and received the tip (not him) was none of these things. We tried to find Izzy before we left to personally thank him but he must have been on a break. Food was absolutely exceptional and despite the atmosphere and initial service hiccup, we would return.

My most recent visit to Lamplight Lounge was… still good, but perhaps a little less magical than I would have liked. For starters, we had issues with the walk-in waitlist. We had a party of 7, and even though we were trying to enter as soon as the waitlist opened, we could not queue for a party of 7 on the app. We were, however, able to queue for a party of 3 and 4. We then asked if we could combine those tables to seat 7, which we could. So I don’t understand why it was so difficult to queue for 7 people on the app. I am, however, grateful to the staff for making it happen. This was also my first time sitting upstairs instead of in the downstairs Lamplight Lounge - Boardwalk Dining area. I wish there was a separate Yelp page for the downstairs dining area, because my experience there has been 5 stars every time. A notable difference in these two seating areas is menu variety. Unlike its downstairs counterpart, the upstairs Lamplight Lounge lacks an entree section in its menu. In lieu of this, they have the lobster nachos, a dish that is exclusive to upstairs. I thought the lobster nachos could have been better. The flavors were good, but the chips were a bit stale. The drinks, on the other hand, were good as always. I always get the Fun Wheel cocktail, which is colorful and delightful. Mostly everyone else remarked that they liked their drinks as well. Service was.. Ok. A little less peppy than I was used to, but decent still. We had a nice view of the Pixar Pal-A-Round from our table upstairs, but honestly, I think I prefer sitting downstairs on the Boardwalk. You still get a nice view of the ferris wheel downstairs, the ambiance is a little livelier, and you get to eat real meals.

We did the Boardwalk outside dining option which requires a separate reservation and has a different menu. Note that this could give you one of many seating types depending on what is available when you arrive. Some parties get high tops or bar seating, while some get standard tables or couches which could very much affect your experience. I didn’t feel like the drinks were all too special but did enjoy the lobster nachos which were plenty of food for 2 or 3 people. I would probably skip doing the outdoor dining again as we were still in the sun and kept hearing the Incredicoaster launch announcement every 30 seconds during our meal.

Service was excellent. Views were spectacular. But the burger that I got wasn’t too impressive. It was kinda dried out. Our reservation was at 7:20 and we were able to stay and watch World of Color that started at 9.

We had a reservation for Dinner. The drinks were refreshing and not too strong. The pork chops were cooked perfectly. The service was great. The views were amazing. We got our food fast and it was hot and fresh. It’s a little pricey but good and service are worth a visit. The restrooms are very clean. Ten out of ten recommend checking it out.

As long as you're not coming here for food, such as most of Disne parks, you will be fine. I had the lobster nachos and they were just below acceptable. The lobster is dry and over cooked. It was simply just okay. The staff and view is fantastic

Big sigh. I hate when I try a Disney restaurant and it disappoints. Especially when I had high hopes for it. I read the reviews and most were very good if not great. I don't know where these people have been eating, but it was just ok for me, just my opinion. This restaurant is probably at the VERY bottom of my Disney Restaurant list, including Disney Cruise restaurants and Disney World restaurants. I probably won't ever be back. Let me start with the good, all of their meats were cooked very well, the chicken, the salmon, the pork chop and the burger. The pumpkin spiced donuts were good as well. The drinks were all ok. We tried the 2319, Goofball Island and the Mint to Be. For appetizers we tried the Lobster Nachos and Potato Skins. The Lobster Nachos had a little sprinkling of minced Lobster on top and scant cheese sauce. So you end up with a lot of dry chips after just the top layer. Anyone that has ever served nachos knows you must do some layering to make sure you have a little bit of sauce throughout, especially is the sauce isn't particularly loose. The Potato Skins are super crispy because they are fried to death. My husband said they just tasted burnt. The bottom 2 are inedible because the bottom of both are completely soaked in a pool of frying oil. Easily avoidable by draining them properly afterwards for just a bit before serving. Both of the burgers we ordered had so much of the avocado ranch sauce the my daughter literally scooped globs off of her burger and set it on the side of the plate. The burgers completely fell apart because there was too much of this sauce. So you can't pick up the burger to eat it, we had to use a fork & knife. The Salmon PLT, the Salmon was great. The rest of the sandwich was off. Too much sauce, and this is coming from someone who always asks for extra sauce. It made the sandwich so salty that it was inedible. So we just ate the salmon by itself and left the rest alone on the plate. Both of the sandwiches had roasted plum tomatoes. We didn't expect it to be an actual half of a tomato inside of the sandwich. So we took them out of the sandwich, it made it impossible to just bite into the sandwich. The pork chop was cooked well, the rest was lack luster, the polenta was ok. The chicken on the salad was good. It didn't say in the description that it was a wedge salad so I dug in with my fork and the entire wedge came up. So be warned, you have to slice up your salad yourself because it's a whole wedge. We did enjoy the water front view and surrounding ambiance. It's much more of a bar scene so maybe people think the food is better than it is because they're having some libations? Who knows. We preferred it back when it was Ariels Grotto. I love the celebration of Pixar. The food just needs work to be up to par with what we're used to seeing from Disney.

Don't come here for lunch, expecting options. There are 3 or 4 adult entrees and 3 or 4 appetizers. The burger was just okay, and it's the best entree. Come here for a bounty of cocktail options, a healthy variety of beers, bottled and draft, and surprisingly good potato skins. The fried onion is a poor imitation of The Bloomin' Onion. Here it'a too spicy for average folks and difficult to get a piece off. Outdoor seating has good views and good shade.

Food was good also the wine. But it all started with one of the ladies at the door who was not happy at all to be working there and was counting the hours to leave (out loud) to her colleague. She was very not welcoming at all. Inside the restaurant we asked for a table outside and apparently that was a huge inconvenience to the team since it took them an extra 10 minutes to organize it. For our surprise there were multiple empty tables outside, so I couldn’t understand the hassle. But it was at the table that we really tasted the poor service from our server, who was constantly hiding away from us to avoid any possibility of additional orders. We ordered an appetizer and 2 glasses of wine to start. The appetizer came in 2 minutes and we finished it before the wine even showed up. When we asked her about it, she was not happy and made us sound like we were complaining for something it was not her fault. “The bar is super busy” What?? Again it was an evident difference form the level of service we get at Disneyworld, compared to the typical Disneyland waiter.

We loved the atmosphere. We got the cool couches table and it was heaven to sit in a soft cozy space for an hour. Food soso. More bar food. My kids cried the chicken tenders were not breaded but grilled on an open flame and I didn’t realize Brussels salad was literally brussel sprouts salad. Fun view on the pier. Nice breeze. We liked the drink 2319. My kids all thought the other lemonade drinks too sugary …. I’d come again. Just know more for adult bar drinks.

We had a reservation for five but were initially seated at a large high-top table shared with several other guests. It was uncomfortable and made conversation with our group difficult. After requesting a change, the staff accommodated us, which we appreciated. The food was expensive and fairly ordinary, with a limited menu offering mostly basic options. The drinks were overly sweet and not to our taste. Service was adequate but not particularly warm or memorable. Overall, the experience felt more routine than special. Given the setting, I had hoped for something a bit more magical.

TWO DIFFERENT RESTAURANTS THAT SHARE THE SAME BUILDING Lamplight lounge boardwalk (located upstairs) is casual dining, with limited menu (mainly apps) Lamplight lounge (located downstairs) is table service with full menu Made the mistake of mixing the two up, and ended up at Lamplight Lounge Boardwalk instead of Lamplight Lounge. I utilized the reservation system through the app and was seated within 10 minutes Overall impressions, menu was limited and we were placed towards the back (near the exit) so we didn't get a good view of Pixar Pier. There was plenty seating available though so probably could have been placed somewhere with a better view if I requested it. Service, was alright.. nothing that wowed us. We noticed that all the workers looked unhappy, which made the atmosphere feel unwelcomed. Service in between was rather slow though. We didn't receive our drinks until the food arrived, and our server checked up only one time after taking our order (no big deal) Initially we decided to dine here becausd we wanted to try the Lunar New Year menu items (Mongolian beef) but were told it's only available at Lamplight Lounge. My boyfriend and I ended up ordering the lobster nachos to share which were good. The portions say it's an appetizer, but even between two people we were barely able to finish. We also each got our own mocktail.. for the price, wasn't expecting to pay almost $50 for an appetizer and 2 drinks, but it is Disney so what can you expect? They do offer a small discount if you are a Magic Key holder! As a first time diner, the overall process felt very confusing. If I were to come back, I would learn from my mistakes and definitely would make the effort to ask to be seated somewhere with a better view. There are definitely better food options around the park that won't break your wallet, but for the ambiance it wasn't too bad

We arrived before our 1.30pm booking, we weren't seated until 1.50pm. It was chaos out the front, the app wasn't working correctly and we don't have American phone numbers so didn't receive a text our table was ready. The whole calling out names when tables are ready is painful, it’s so loud almost impossible to hear. Our host was pleasant however service wasn't memorable, we barely saw her. The food took ages and came out cold which is a shame because there were staff walking around everywhere, but no food was coming out. I had the chicken and the sauce on the plate was so cold it had a film on. Carlos who as refilling drinks was absolutely fabulous! Five stars to Carlos 👏🏻 There was a massive table of kids (we assume was a birthday party) and they were wild. Using their cutlery as drum sticks, screaming and running around. Eventually one of the mums who were just standing around watching started yelling trying to ask them to be quiet. It really ruined the “fine dining atmosphere” The meal ended up being about $300aud and really I wouldn’t bother going back! We only booked because of the rave reviews online however it was lack luster! We had nicer food from quick service restaurants.

The nachos were pretty good. However, the host wouldn’t allow us to sit in the shade , even though there were seats available. As soon as we ordered our first drinks 16:50, we were told that it was the last call. Our reservations were for 16:30 and we got inside at 16:40. A terrible experience. Wouldn’t recommend!!!! 😡

Not sure what the deal was during our visit this time but I was disappointed with my experience here this time. I tried to order the lobster nachos they said no that’s not available, which is a first because I’ve come back multiple times over the years and had it every time. Also, because the lobster nachos were not available for some weird reason and we weren’t super hungry and wanted smaller bites and some fruit, we were told that these were on the kids menu but they said we can’t order from the kids menu. When we went to Disney land across the way and ate at some of their restaurants they allowed us to do that and it was fine. Not sure what the deal is with the service here. So much for the happiest place on earth but not being allowed to order what you want.

We had made reservations for 8pm to eat here and with the intention of watching the water show. When making the reservation, we had been told by a cast member we would be able to request to have seating to watch the water show not until the day of. The day of our reservation arrived, around 2pm we go out to the restaurant to have our request placed. Now another cast member tells us, not until we check in at 8pm is when we may request for the water show seating. We arrive around 7:40 this past Friday and what are we told by the third cast member who standing outside of the restaurant? You cannot request for water show seating. Absolutely ridiculous the struggle one has to go through at this place.

If I could give the place zero stars I would! Lamplight Lounge should get rid of rude employees like Jazz! While I was waiting to be seated the person was extremely rude at guests! She was not friendly and even approached me while I was waiting on the outside of the door and asked me what I was doing all while gossiping about guests and making fun of children with special needs! Why would anyone hire this individual to work at a Disney park! She is an embarrassment to this establishment and they need to fire her! How dare she treat not just guests with rude demeanor, but mock people of certain needs! Yes, I took a picture of this disgusting individual for treating people like garbage! Get rid of her! Or if you happen to eat at this restaurant stay away from her! She is a disgusting individual for making fun of families!

Probably last time eating here. They moved the Lobster Nachos upstairs to the boardwalk. If it's crowded, they're probably going to seat you on the outside rather than the lounge itself where it's loud & cold. Had the most disappointing portion of Thai Seafood Pasta drowning in sauce, poor presentation, and a hunt for your mussels & calms in the dish (There's very few). Hard pass. Lots of potential but flavors need to be tweaked and balanced. Size of seafood portion will leave you hungry. Even the spaghetti as the choice of pasta over a vermicelli or a rice noodle is baffling. Spoke to a manager but I was still charged full price. This is also the most expensive entree at $35. Avoid. Use to be a much nicer spot. Seems under staffed recently, took awhile to get my bartender to grab my order and no one checked on me after my meal arrived. I was so put off, I just left the park afterwards and went to bed mad. This is not the Disney way.

It's pouring rain and they are making everyone wait outside. The hosts are rude, but warm and dry in the very spacious foyer. When I asked if I could check us in early, the host (who treated the front door like a bouncer) allowed myself to go in and made the other 2 in our party wait outside. When I approached the desk, the taller host was very sweet while the other informed me they weren't taking early check ins. I totally get it, i'm sure everyone with a reso was hoping to do the same. So back out into the rain we went. We were sat 10 minutes after our checked in time. They were going sit us outside... because the lounge is mostly outside, but covered. They were kind enough to accommodate my request to stay inside. So beware- the pic that is used to represent the Lounge is deceiving. I will say, since they have quite a bit of unused space in the foyer they probably could put several 2 tops for dining. They have an impossible burger, but not oat or almond milk.... and apparently not coffee mugs. Order coffee and a cocktail- no water offered. Our server was an order taker, not a person of service. The bao bun and potato skins were delicious, came out quick, hot and flavorful. Kitchen seems well run. Maybe the Chef knows a front of house manager... We ordered 2 apps- no side plates- We waited for our server so we could ask for some. She was obviously put out. Not check back on food quality. Melvin the server assistant, was doing a great job clearing plates and was very pleasant. Andrew, the server next to us was also doing a great job with the table next us. He was engaging and stayed close to his tables. We ordered the rosemary lemon chicken, the impossible burger and regular burger. Our silver had been cleared, so we had to wait for our server to come back and ask for it, along with more drinks and water. The food was good. Not exceptional, but good. In conclusion..... dont waste your time or money here.

LACKLUSTER LOUNGE Service was spotty and we were being rushed to finish/pay at 8pm when we had a 7:30 reservation. I was even told the soda machine was closed when I asked for a refill of my Diet Coke at 7:50. Server did find me a Diet Coke when I pushed back… The lobster nachos are super overrated, as the chips were so stale I only ate the toppings. Gf daughter’s cauliflower was soggy likely due to oil in fryer not being hot enough. Since you can no longer dine there for WOC, it’s not worth making a res.

I loved the lamplight lounge compared to Ariel's Grotto which it replaced. They have done a lot with the decorations and the quality of the food was great. I recommend the lobster nachos if you like seafood. It was not only delicious but the view was amazing. I will post pictures below of our view from the downstairs patio right on the water at night. I'm definitely putting this on my list next to blue bayou and the bell terrace! Update this has become the worst place. lobster nachos are gone only upstairs. Only allow eating updates. Terrible food. Avoid avoid avoid

Be very careful this restaurant no longer serves lobster nachos. Also we ordered the prime rib at $40 a plate and it was the toughest cut of meat x three of us! We mentioned to our server that we had a birthday in our party and all he offered was a $50 cake no on the house dessert for the birthday girl. Definitely not worth the time or money at this restaurant.

The confusion with check in out front had 3 converging lines with no direction from staff people cutting in line in front of people constantly. We had checked in with the text they sent us and we were sent to this line. I stood there and watched the staff direct people to go wait in line and then move the line and people would cut in and then get there text. Extremely unclear setup and staff didn't care. Then when we finally got seated first set of empty food plates with our silverware and napkins came out with dried food stuck to them. Sent them back. The table water is plan tap water not filtered tasted terrible not drinkable. Had to ask at the bar for seltzer water so I could get filtered water to drink. The silverware I discovered had food stuck to them also. Set them aside. Ordered 2 drinks. Asked for what they had for a unsweetened cocktail. They recommended one and I said great as long as it's not sugary. Then ordered food. Food arrived about 15 minutes later Waited 15 more minutes then our drinks arrived. Wife's drink was fine mine was full of sugar opposite of what I asked for. Waited for the server to return, well we finished our food. Continued to wait roughly 10 more minutes he came back. I politely returned drink for a vodka seltzer. Waited roughly 10 more minutes got my vodka seltzer, it was flat no fizz. Epic issues with complete lack of Disney magic They refunded my drink that I didn't consume. And gave us a lightning lane for our troubles. Not worth it sad service.

No more lobster nachos because “in the manager’s own words” it was one of the most popular dishes, but upstairs wasn’t doing as well so they made it an upstairs exclusive. Even though there’s only one kitchen for both restaurants, they wouldn’t serve the nachos downstairs. Leadership is really lacking here and they really need to either be replaced or retrained. Went back again on June 15, 2025 and the Manager Juan was loudly talking about grindr and how’s he’s into daddies with one of the server assistants by our table. So know this is the level of leadership they have working here. Absolutely no awareness or care for the paying guests around them.

Booked this reservation 4 months ahead of our trip to DCA. Was extremely disappointed upon being seated. We were seated outside at a high top arrangement. Kids and tall chairs are not desirable. We asked about a different table and were told it would be an additional wait time. The menu is extremely limited and very expensive. We had done some research prior to our trip however our experience was not anything near what we researched. 26$ burger that was subpar, dry and basic. The kids slider burger was a joke. The Korean pork chop was tasty however not a 30$ plate of food. I do not recommend this meal experience at DCA. We were looking forward to ambiance inside the restaurant as there is a lot to see. The atmosphere was non- existent at a 7pm reservation for us. Hope you have a better experience.

Horrible experience with this location. Front doors were manned by Tori and Jazz at 6:30pm 1-8-26. I had a reservation at 7pm. My wife had to use the restroom and went in and the ladies Tori and Jazz were talking with themselves making fun of my wife as I was standing outside I heard everything and this is at DCA

Before I explain why you should never dine at lamp light during late night, I wanted to state how the Lamplight Lounge is an amazing restaurant experience, tons of great seating, amazing views and the atmosphere was pleasant and very accommodating on the other occasions I’ve been there. However last night I had a truly awful and unpleasant experience due to the service and food quality. My girlfriend and I had a burger with a cold meat patty and stale bread costing us a total of 114$ with beverages included. The service was atrocious due to being pushed and forced to hurry in our ordering and rushed. Idk why they were so eager to make us order when we didn’t even get menus or coasters for our water classes. First thing when we get our table the server rudely stated how we must order within in next 5 minutes or else we’re not getting food. Her tone and word choices just made the experience truly unbearable and nasty. When I asked if they had any nachos available the server quickly brushed off my question and just told my girlfriend and I to order something quick again repeating her self to rush our order, and of course we didn’t get our refill of water to top it off. I will only be attending the Lamplight in the morning or evening for better food and better service as both of those factors made my dining experience at night truly miserable and wasteful. I want my money back.

We made a reservation 60 days in advance, got to the restaurant and then saw that that only do brunch on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. I wish it said that on the app more clearly or noticeably. However, I think the biggest issue was they sat our party of 8 with littles at a coffee table, couches and armchairs instead of at an actual table. This was for an actual meal. It was uncomfortable. We ended up walking out. It was really disappointing. My advice would be if you want bunch, make sure to check the dates, and ask for an actual dining table. Side note: I did ask them if they just ran out of room or if it was an actual dining area and they said they use it all the time.

Apparently its 2 different restaurants. Downstairs dining the first day. There's no nacho lobsters down there. Food was good, it just takes awhile to get. Which im fine with if you keep up on the drinks. Which they didnt. Finished my ordered beverage, my water and my coffee. Sat empty the whole meal until we got our check. 2nd day did the upstairs dining. Lobster nachos were great, and service was better, but you can't order coffee upstairs. Even though its on the menu. Terrible engagement anniversary experience.

Wow they really reduced the menu...got Thai pasta and Onion blossom. They arrived at the same time cold! THE ONION IS an appetizer! The pasta was so gross seafood not fresh at all. The onion you could not pull apart, cool and stuck together. Got it exchanged for roasted squash panzanella. That salad was pretty good. This place has really changed from a great place to eat to a bar with sub standard food. So disappointed!!
