Philly's Best Cheesesteaks

I didn't know that they have many chicken options on the menu. I had the chicken philly's best and it was great! Next time I will be going for the buffalo chicken sandwich. Staff was very nice as well.

My favorite at this location is the Chicken Parmesan. I've been putting pickles on mine since 1984 in Boston, Ma and this one keeps the nostalgia alive. I typically stop on my way home from work at least twice a week and this is one of the few places I could never get tired of.

Order on Grub Hub and it was so delicious,hot and correct. I appreciate local businesses who deliver to the Candy Cane Inn off Harbor. We have been trying different ones and this Philly Chicken is so good and fresh. It arrived hot as well as my daughter had chicken tenders also hot,crispy and yummy. The onion rings were still warm and crunchy. The cheese sub so fabulous for us veggies heads!! Ty guys outstanding food its 🔥!

We love this eatery. My ONLY complaint is the ridiculously high price of their Onion Rings. They are nearly $7.00 and only 6 - 8 of varying sizes, some being really small, are in a serving. Don't get me wrong, they are excellent...but over a dollar a piece....c'mon now

I watched them like a hawk and these cooks really care about the sandwiches they’re making. Well done guys. We just moved back to Ca from AZ. And AZ doesn’t compare with this place. They have some good ones, Corleone’s, but nothing as good as Phillys Best.

The service at this location is unbeatable. The chef is always smiling and friendly and remembers a familiar face. I'm not sure what the girls name was working the front but she was a pleasure. She would say good bye to their customers when they leave with their name I thought that was a nice touch. She made such a good impression. A great person for the front of your business. The food here is always great as expected. The restaurant is very clean.

Our first time there at Philly’s Best was a great experience. Tom, the owner was very welcoming and he and his staff provided great service. The food was prepared very quickly. We all ordered Philly cheesesteaks and they were delicious! We also got cheese fries and those were a crowd favorite. They did not skimp on the cheese! Definitely will be returning!!

Our go-to for a chicken cheesesteak sandwich or hoagie. But prices are high. Really added up for our 3 sandwiches and fries. I don't think we'll be heading back anytime soon considering, but we do always like the food. Crispy fries, hot sandwiches and fresh cold toppings too.

Pretty good cheesesteaks. Most of their ingredients are imported from the philly area so their availability of specialty items such as birch beer and tastey cakes is dependent on how many sold between shipments. Having lived just outside philly for 8 years, I'd say they do a decent job getting that particular flavor profile right. A bit on the pricey side, but almost half price subs if you go on the 5th, 15th, or 25th of the month. Definitely worth a go if you want that special flavor of philly. Wouldn't quite put them on par with some of the well known establishments of philly itself, but good enough for someone missing the taste of home.

In Irvine, I've been to Philly's Best about 30 times since I used to work in the area, it was always very good. This PB in Orange was not as good for a couple of reasons: no condiments on the tables, old fries were mixed with fresh fries and the cheese on the fries was not piping hot like I'm used to. Also, in Irvine you must use a fork on the fries eventually because they ar drenched in the hot cheese. In Orange they used less cheese and it was not hot enough. In Orange, it was a Monday at high noon and the shop was empty - I suppose this could be the reason for the temperature issues, but it could also be a sign that they are not developing a base of returning customers - like me.

I'm from Philly and I already had high expectations for this place. For the most part, they are doing pretty well. Sliced sirloin steak and you can have your cheesesteak any way you like it. From a Philadelphia contrast they should probably give you double meat, grill the onions more, and give you more of an attitude when you order. Other than that, this should satisfy your cheesesteak urges.

The food was ok for the first steak subs . The food gets cooked and prepared as you order. You pick your veg, cheese. And on the 5th or 15th of the month the subs are $5 ALL SUBS .. the inside looks nicer than the outside ..

GG lvl10 review- The Philly chicken hoagie had the extra added attraction of melted cheese with the chicken, lettuce, tomato and Philly style dressing. Ask for some pepper relish on your hoagie if you would like a bolder flavor profile. It’s not inordinately spicy. The chicken sandwiches are made from thinly sliced chicken breast meat, and the Philly Buffalo Chicken would be my selection. It’s made with melted American white cheese, bleu cheese dressing and Frank’s Red Hot buffalo sauce, yielding a pungent spiciness. Highly recommend

Good stuff. If you aren't scared go for the dill picked and peppers that are off to the side. Id probably go extra cheese as well, but I'm an animal!

Mom and I shared one Philly Deluxe $14.00 😮 had we each had our own our bill would have been $30 and that's without fries or drinks. However the Philly was good but won't be going back! We could have at an entire meal at Denny's or Norm's.

The taste is great, I like their Philly’s Best Chicken. The reason I dropped two stars is that they DO NOT WEAR GLOVES, they handle food with bare hands!! Another thing bothered me that no matter how repetitive customer you are, if you place an order to go for like 6 sandwiches or more by calling you’ll end up waiting anyway, cause they’re scared you won’t show up. So if you wanna order couple of sandwiches don’t bother calling, just go there!

This one was ok. I like the one in santa ana better. I'm from Philly so this is pretty close to what I like over there when I am home sick.

Food is.. not that great. Fries were mid, sandwich had a good amount of meat but not much cheese. Bread ok, price was on the higher end, around 20 bucks for a combo! Service was great and the wait wasn't too long. Still prefer the one over nearby the mall.

First time ordering Philly's. Not sure if they do this everywhere but I was not expecting all of my fries to be soggy from the cheese when I ordered the Cheese steak Fries. Didn't like it. Too much cheese. Fries were soggy. And steak was fine but not enjoyable. Maybe next time will be better if I came in rather than order out. Maybe.

The best Philly Cheese Steak sandwitch outside Philly. In City of Orange. SORRY they have no longer have the special $5.99 any sandwich on date ending with a 5. Makes their food kinda pricey. Check it out you will not be sorry

A cheesestake is always oozing with cheese. We got 4 sandwiches and every one of them were as dry as bone. Worst cheesestake I have ever had a lot of meat but not good.

I wasn't happy I ordered a philly steak just majo and they put cheese and onions . ON MY RECEIPT IS HAS NO CHEESE ON IT I'm allergic to cheese. I couldn't eat it. I was on my lunch break. I wasted money on something I couldn't eat my fries were also SOGGY.

This place should b known for Phillys worst.. bread is soggy & chewy, steak feels like rubber, flavor not there, all u can taste is cheap gooey cheese & to top it off I can't believe I wasted almost $10 on that crap. Not worth it at all.

Everytime I go in here the cook has the same dirty gloves. He will pull the raw meat and handle it and not change gloves. I had to ask one time and got attitude. No more stomach aches and the onions sit there allll day
