This place was beautiful inside! I was accompanying friends to an Ironmouse Pop-up and had no idea what I was walking into. I was completely-pleasantly shocked. I ordered the Anarchy Latte and the Flancitos. Both were great! I ordered the latte with Oat Milk for a $1.00 upcharge (lame). The flan was great, very dense and the sauce was so sweet. The latte did not look like what was advertised on the social media page page. The decor was GORGEOUS!! It felt so magical inside. They had a shelf with books for you to read while there, a table full of boardgames and card games. There was a side room where people were playing DnD and there was a bunch of merch you could buy. We parked on a side street across from the huge church. The bathrooms were a surprise!

We Were just walking by on the street and got intrigued by the subtle decorations outside and since we had some free time we decided to check this place out. The inside was like nothing I've ever seen, with Anime on TV, somebody playing a game on another TV, and a handful of people playing either board games or gaming on laptops. The drink we had was delicious, and had pop rocks for some added fun. 10/10would recommend this place!

A very welcoming atmosphere. Lots of amazing decor to help you experience a video game world IRL. Video game theme music plays in the background as you munch on many tasty video game inspired treats. I had the mana potion and a matcha cake. Both very delicious. They also have tvs stations set up on some tables and they encourage you to bring in your consoles and game there. I would Definitely go again.. and maybe take my console

1st time being here and it was for my 30th birthday party. Loved the ambience of the whole area! Setup was wonderful, and the staff were very helpful. They even provided the base for the Nintendo Switch that I brought. Loved the themes for the food and drinks, and it was an overall wonderful experience for my nerdiness. Will definitely come back in the future!

Come for the atmosphere, and stay awhile either at a table or cozied up in their fantasy tree nooks. I enjoy coming here on occasion to break up my work day with some whimsy, perfect place for light work that doesn't require wi-fi. Think of it as a time to unplug and get some writing/studying done. Personally, I'm not a big fan of their food/drinks but slowly sipping on something mediocre is a small price to pay for a magical, memorable outing. Staff are always friendly and personable, which adds Requiem's relaxed vibe.

D
Develon M

I enjoyed the experience and energy given off by the staff here. They were super friendly and bubbly. They made suggestions when things were out and explained how things might be changed if we didn’t like/couldn’t have certain things. If you enjoy a gaming/anime atmosphere. This is the place for you! I will surely be coming back.

The grilled cheese was okay. It sort of tasted like it had been grilled on top of previously burned grill with burnt crumbs. Coffee was pretty good. Ordered hot and it was more Luke warm which was ok. The decor was pretty cool. Will likely get coffee there again if in the area.

Really interesting place. Unique spot for fans and locals. Game and fandom inspired food and drink. Fair prices and fun events. Went on a borderlands night and a board game night and met new people and had a good time. Really fun place to hang out with friends and connect with others who have similar hobbies and interests. Check their social media pages for events your interested in!

This spot is so aesthetically pleasing I believe we dropped about 80$ bucks on food merchandise. Saw this place on TikTok and recommendations from friends decided to drop on in. I felt like I was in an anime comic book that had a baby with final fantasy my imagination was everywhere. My adhd had me hopping left and right in Awee. The colors are so vibrant. The tree was so detailed and everything around this place. You had the cyberpunk theme in one area and the mid evil fantasy. The drinks and snacks are okay in my opinion I thought I was going to get a souvenir cup or something but the experience was great the service and all definitely recommend everyone to come here great to do a little photo shoot you know just saying but really if you are in the area drop by and be amazed. They have a vending machine supporting local artist. And they also have a TV where you can collect your game station and play there so that’s also convenient for those gamers

Great ambiance and a full calendar of events. A great place to go with nerdy friends or even your mom, as I did. The Millennial Falcon was a tasty avocado toast with Asian flair and the Stamina Potion is a nice lychee lemonade.

J

Second time here from out of state, love this place it’s whimsical and fun to hang out at, they have plenty of spots to sit and play games at but it does get pretty busy at times. Love that they have a bunch of special menu items and collabs. It’s mostly drinks ofc but they have some snack items too, and they do run out at times.

K
Kristina Fisher

This is a fantasy space that also has good, drinks, games, a shop, and an assortment of fantasy seating. The photos speak for themselves. The lemonades are my favorite. They always have events and themed limited released food as well. This business is amazing and I'm so glad they survived covid. Requiem is a must visit if you're in the area. Outside there is lots of parking and others shops as well.

J
Jenna Terada

Went for the ddlc collaboration, but I've also been there before for the two p5 collabs. The drinks are amazing and the ice cream dishes good. If you get drinks and ice cream, I recommend not having ice cream in your drink as well or it will end up tasting the same

S

I had been wanting to come here for a while and was not disappointed, enjoying a winter themed brunch on my birthday with my wife. The decor is simply magical and the thematic drinks and food were great. I really enjoyed the mana potion (lavender lemonade) which is a staple alongside their health and stamina potions, accompanied with my adventuring club sandwich! This is a place you can come to relax with some hot coffee or tea while sitting in a giant tree, or play board games with a group of friends on a long table that can easily accommodate a few sessions of DnD too. I'm definitely going to go back soon, and want to enjoy more of their various events they host every day of the week.

Amazing. Unbelievable. Epic. This is an experience worth checking out! Very chill friendly staff. Patrons were fun to be around. All the food and drink we tried were excellent. I personally loved the HP potion. Treat yourself and go have a good time.

A really cool Final Fantasy themed cafe! There's not that many themed cafes here in Socal so I thought this was a really cool experience. I really enjoyed the design of the menus as well as the interior design of the cafe. It felt like I was in a Final Fantasy alternate universe!! And not to mention, I went with a plain vanilla latte and it was delicious. I'd love to come back to try the special drinks!! It was a bit busy on a weekday so it was loud, otherwise I'd recommend this as a cool date or study spot :)

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLAXE AND THE STAFF. My tea was nice and strong with bold earthy flavor. The earl grey creme was delicious as well. Didn't get to try the food but I will definitely be back.

Loved the little nooks and crannys to hang out in and enjoy their yummy teas. I got the Matcha Green Tea with White Chocolate and it was amazing. Fun place for dates , hangouts and spot to play games

I come here about once a month and it's one of my favorite places! I love the fun themed drinks, and I've come in for the Over the Garden Wall and Owl House events.

J
Jay How

Been here for a couple of themed events and it's cool. Moody cybergoth/fantasy club-like atmosphere except everyone's chilling out, there's a kitchen and adjoining merch store. Fantasy themed decor and, the times I was there, themed life-size standees for photo opportunities.

R

Delicious drinks🧋🍵, waffles and Ice Cream 🧇🍨 surrounded by whimsy and people who appreciate it. We had the best time. It was more than we were hoping for and my Captain's Rose was absolutely divine. We can't wait to come back for another visit for tea and a trip to the shop. We picked up a Mitsuri item to commemorate our dessert the Mitsuri's Mochi. It was a perfect evening! Thank you.

J

Came for the collaboration event with Glitch Productions, but I will definitely consider returning– this is a great place to just hang out and relax, and maybe pick up some merch! Definitely recommend giving this place a try

Nerd Paradise! When you walk in there are several themed lands to choose from, which means that having coffee here offers something new and interesting with each "table" you sit at. There's a pixie hallow fairy land where you can climb into a hollowed out tree for a cozy cuddle with friends. Hike further up the tree for a scout spot to sit. Or enjoy the Woodlands area beneath the tree complete with beanbags and low tables for lounging. There's a sci-fi gateway to crystaline space table that seats 6 and it looks like portal to somewhere the traveler lives from TNG. There are several smaller tables (seat 4) that are on point for 10-forward, white/ clear & very futuristic looking. There's a high booth wrap around charging pillar in the center of the floor, no need to bring your adapter - the outlets have usb ports! There are two couches, one facing the tv, 1 facing the order line, both have coffee tables and the two setups look like they're about 500 years apart. One is new age the other is antique. There's a cozy bench in front of a purple and orange optical fireplace. A few more tables (seat 4-6) that definitely vibe vintage lost harry potter lobby. And then there's the epic gamers IRL conference table extraordinaire. It seats a dozen players at the table and one dungeon master on the throne. No, really, there's a huge throne! It's right in front of the wall sized stained glass tombe (that's always back lit and awesome). They have mana, heath & stamina potions to drink. Vegetarian and vegan food options to eat, like caprese toast, avocado toast, and something meaty for non-vegetarians (if the are any). They also bake their pastries fresh, inhouse, daily. And if all this hasn't earned them next gen dork cred, their wifi password is: shutupwesley.

My daughter saw this place on tik Tok, and since we were going to be in LA we had to stop in and check it out. Like anything else now a days, get there when they open or be ready to wait in a HUGE line. The place was cute and the drinks were good. Stupid Covid prevented us from sitting inside and enjoying it to its fullest.

Requiem is my favorite place of all time! All of the food and drinks are always perfect and the service is amazing. Shoutout to Jess behind the counter, they make the best drinks!

J
Jack Falcon

Food and drinks are perfect, service is very quick even on the busier days, atmosphere deserves 10 stars as this is one of the most unique and comforting cafe environments in California. You will have so much fun here with your friends and don’t feel afraid to try and make a few new ones here either. Another plus is the creative seasonal menu changes always keep things fresh. Gotta love requiem.

We took a "quick" trip, it was a 5 hour drive lol, to Anaheim to visit this place while they did the Omori collaboration, for my teens. It had a really nice vibe to it. There were lots of people hanging out and enjoying the vibes. The staff were meh, but the atmosphere and the collabs make up for it. The back room has a store with lots of cool anime things and have lots of customer doodles on the walls and they have games and thing you can do here.

I’ve been coming here for years and I absolutely LOVE this place. I wanted to leave a positive review because I saw some negative reviews about the long lines that happen during the big collab events. While those concerns are valid and should be addressed, this cafe is AMAZING in just about every other way. The decorations are top tier, the owner and the staff are very caring, and the drinks are delicious. I recommend going during the non-busy seasons to get the best experience!!!

DREAM for nerds Requiem Cafe is for people who get it go with amazing energy and you will be rewarded back 🤍 If you go with 0 friends you will feel like you have just made them there the energy is immaculate and they have SO many trinkets and even a library I was in shock at how many cool things there are :3 The staff was so nice to me, I went on a night where there was only 10 other people hanging out minus people that came in to get drinks not hanging out inside but some points I was the only one although brief and very close to closing time, and I was valued through out my entire experience and welcomed, staff is totally willing to make accommodations for allergies or make off menu basic drinks like basic latte or tea if for reason of allergy, just genuinely some of the nicest people. The pastries I got were delicious and so were my drinks, I got merch aswell for an amazing price! If you want to experience artist alley come here, beyond allergy accommodations super accesible to neurodivergent paterons and even have a quiet place in the gift shop! Totally come here if you don’t feel like you belong anywhere this was a much needed night out for me I will recommend it to all my mutuals.

This fantasy wonderland is not described well in reviews. This cafe, has anime, and gamer themed decor. From a sit in tree to read books, to statues looking like game pieces, to a shop and game night on Mondays and Fridays there is so much to do here. Karaoke on Wednesday. Original teas and lattes, waffles, and a vending machine with gamer memorbelia. It's a fun place.

L

It was really cozy and pretty inside! The coffee is better than I was expecting it to be, and the ambience was relaxing. I came at night, so the colored lights inside really stood out. Staff were very nice too. I plan on coming back next time I take a trip to California again!

I love this place. I've been here a good chunk of times now and it NEVER disappoints. Keep an eye out for whenever they have a weekend special, it's always killer! Every drink and item on their menu is crafted with love and care, and it really does show. Can't wait for COVID to be over, because it was even more magical than it is now. (if there are no weekend boxes, go for the bubble waffles, yum) Truly the best cafe to go to, especially if you're into fantasy, D&D, anime, and other nerd things. The staff is always so happy to talk to you about shared interests too!

Ive been coming to the Requiem ever since I heard about the Undertale collaboration and every single time I've visited, I got to share a wonderful experience with my friends and the wholesome community that keep this place fun and lively! ♡ it's gotten more popular as time has gone on along with so many more collabs so please be patient as their a local business providing a space for everyone- and some tasty drinks and treats too

This place was really cool! The decor was very whimsical and fantastical. Very clean and the attached shop with boardgames was a great addition. I got the stamina drink which is a lychee lemonade but I didn't taste any lychee. It was still very good! Would definitely reccomend bringing your friends and DND group here.

S

What a colorful and euphoric experience! Try the grilled cheese and the Red Water (with alcohol), both delicious. We heard it gets busy on weekends so we visited at 3pm on a Friday and the crowd was minimal. Such a fantasy feeling with really sweet staff!

My favorite place to be at...just too far to commute anytime i want to go, atmosphere is great coffee is great most the time sometimes event drinks taste...interesting but overall GREAT PLACE love it

While the delightfully-named delicious drinks would be enough to warrant a 5 star rating, it's really the kind, friendly staff that make the experience my favourite coffee shop. Even on a busy afternoon, the baristas share a smile. I always feel welcome and at home here. (Also, is there a better place to enjoy a latte than by a stained glass window or a magical tree?? I think not! Whether with a friend or just single-player, this is the place to be!)

p
purpee pizel

I came here 2x for the TADC collab. First of all every time I've came the staff are always hard working & kind & accommodating- never rude & always welcoming. Secondly, the actual tadc drinks were pretty tasty. I tried all except Jax, gummigoo & Caine- my fav was def Gangle, Zooble & Kinger drinks. The only & best dessert I had was the abstraction tart, a crunchy outside with a creamy choco mouse & rich syrup, 100/10 you HAVE to try it (If you're interested in a detailed review of each drink, coming from a picky & critical taster ⤵️) 1. Pomni lemonade drink: 8/10, I personally am not super big into juices/lemonade, but this one was pretty enjoyable, sweet but not too sweet & very flavorful. 2. Zooble lychee drink: 7/10, I love teas & never had a lychee one before, this one tasted more like like mango to me & was also enjoyable. The jellies were a very fun addition & was the cutest/fun drink for me. I think they ran out of the strawberry ice cream tho cuz I didn't get any 😔 3. Gangle Swirl: 9/10, I'm only giving a 9 because I didn't get a fruit by the foot (they ran out from being so busy 💔) I loved the creamy vanilla taste with the strawberry flavors, it was truly so yummy & I did not get tired of drinking it. Not too sugary or any weird bitter aftertastes- just right! 4. Kingers Latte: 8/10 the lavender foam was so yummy & was my first time trying lavender coffee ever. I also never drink coffee. The coffee was strong but paired so well with the lavender. I added a bit of vanilla cream to it when I got home & it was perfect. & the butterfly was edible 👌 he gave me the energy I needed to drive home too 🦋 5. Ragatha tea time: 6/10 at first, when the ice cream wasn't mixed with the matcha, it tasted too bitter for me & i wasn't the biggest fan. But once the cherry ice cream mixed, it added sweetness & better flavor- & overall reminded me of cotton candy. Overall I think the drinks were well thought of & put together so the experience was very fun & enjoyable for me, not to mention the props & decor ^^ & if you're autistic I'd def recommend bringing a noise cancelling device bc it gets loud & crowded in there. + you can chill & hideout in the magical wise tree area lol

I’ve been to this cafe for 3 events now and plan to go to more in the future! It’s a great cafe that is easy to recommend to anyone and it’s a very comfortable space for people in the LGBTQ+ community like me! Keep up the good work.

I’m not much of a fantasy guy but this place is weird cool in the best way. I can see this place being polarizing tho. That said, I loved it. Colors are like totally psychodelic dude. Drinks r great w some crazy creative names. Character and unique nooks and seats all over.

Y

This is a pretty cool place. They have decor for different Fandom genres so you can sit where makes you happy. The drinks are really good and well priced. Food isn't too bad either though some of the flavor combinations are uncommon so it may surprise some people (ex: furikake on avocado toast, caprese on buttered toast instead of brushed with olive oil). I think it's still good though and the prices are not too out there so worth it to at least try and see if you like it. They seem to have events regularly with special themed food and drink to match. I went on Wizards Day so some neat Harry Potter themes and they were showing the movies. There is a good selection of board games so it seems like a nice place to meet up with friends or make new friends. I dare say we will be back here again.

J

The staff was extremely friendly and the place was a wonderland away from D-land. Not only do they serve coffee and tea; You can get cocktails, food, snacks or dessert. If you come plan to stay and enjoy your food and beverages. There are too many wonderful things to sit back relax and enjoy.

Geeks paradise. Great for pictures sure but it's also just great for chilling. They have a literal tree you can climb into and get comfy. The pillows were sooo cushy. The place is a vibe. Came with friends and somehow MADE friends?? With your idea you can borrow a game an play I there. The "Make it so" lavender milk tea wasn't quite what I was looking for but still good. Potions are strong!!! Lots of sugar!! Had a gift shop too. Park in the building by the ice rink for validation from them. (2 hours) or there is 90 minite free parking on the street but those go quick. Also we had this ice cream thing that was amazing. Highly recommend this place.

Went this past Halloween on Friday night and had a wonderful time, I was desperate to have something to do with plans falling through and I’m grateful I decided to take the leap and go out of my comfort zone to try this place out by myself. I was met with kind staff and fellow customers, I felt welcomed and the treats were good too, specially the soup. Being apart of the costume contest was also really nerve wrecking but fun, I appreciated the time and will come back.

Stepping into this coffee shop feels like entering a whimsical wonderland with a touch of 'Total Recall' movie-inspired decor. The cleanliness and friendly staff add to the inviting atmosphere. What really made my visit memorable was seeing people engaged in a lively game of Dungeons and Dragons – it added an extra layer of charm and fun to the place. Definitely a must-visit for both coffee lovers and fans of fantasy gaming!

I think I may have died and gone to nerd heaven! I am absolutely in LOVE with this fantasy themed cafe known as ‘Requiem’. Visited last night for the first time ever and was absolutely blown away! Picture this: a cafe open until 11pm that lets you play your own board games, card games, and chat with your buddies about anything at all! It’s a safe space for nerds to come and just nerd out to their favorite hobby card game or whatever they like. On top of that, they sell desserts and ‘potions’ which is code for beverages they look like something right out of an RPG game (think Final Fantasy, Elden Ring, etc). As a Resident Evil nerd, I especially appreciated the Leon Kennedy Golden Eggnog drink which was a delicious beverage that pays homage to RE4! My buddy and I played our first official game of Pokémon last night after having bought our first card decks last night. We figured, what better place to duel than at Requiem? I had a blast sipping on my eggnog drink, playing Pokémon, having an absolute blast all while watching Sonic Adventures 2 on the big screen monitor! If you are a nerd and need a safe and enjoyable place to embrace your inner nerd, please do yourself a favor and come on down to Requiem Cafe in Anaheim, California! It’s so worth the trip.

Finally had a chance to try this place out and it was wonderful~! The decor is so pretty and the staff were incredibly kind. Parking was a breeze thanks to the nearby parking structure, too. Lots of fun merch for the DDLC event and great vibes all around. Will definitely be returning! :)

I went to the Over the Garden Wall event and while yes, I waited a long time. It was so worth it! The staff were amazing and the food was too. I have to keep in mind that this is just a cafe and not a con, and honestly, they did so well! The fact that these amazing artist came and stayed is just amazing! On a normal day, there stuff is so amazing so definitely recommend.

Requiem is the best place I've ever went to, the food and waffles are great, the atmosphere looks very awesome, and the staff there is very chill and cool basically, this place is recommended for those who want to like socializing, make friends, do like rpg games, or anime. Best place to recommend going too, alot of events happened so here's some photos

I've gotten to come here cross-country a few times and genuinely it is the only thing in Anaheim I actually care about. If you offered me tickets to whatever Disney park is near or this place I would pay to go to this place twice (and entry here is free) Such a welcoming and fun atmosphere and made a lot of silly memories here. Looking forward to finding an excuse to be in Anaheim again. Staff and owner were super friendly, if you're craving a Full Meal there are a ton of restaurants nearby and a great bar next door, but the food here was also good and I had no complaints. If you're visiting for an event definitely consider coming back on an off-day and just enjoying the atmosphere, the events were great, loud, kind of like a packed party, but the off-days were a lot more laid back and also enjoyable. Food at events was pricy but always high quality and made to order, really impressive and never felt ripped off. Event theming was unrivaled. Menu is much more reasonable on off-days. This is a must-visit if you're in Anaheim. Hope we get another 4/13 event!

Somehow I stumbled into this magical realm without a spell, portal or password. It is the most welcoming and friendly pocket dimension this side of Vegas. A haven for fairies, ghouls, aliens, angels, halfbreeds, warlocks, dragons, mutants, deviants, muppets and lycans alike…everyone is welcome here. The shift-lead/manager/skyfather Aster was phenomenal. When I couldn’t figure out what to drink between two options, they gave me both: literally mixed them together on the spot in a concoction before you could say expecto patronum. Definitely coming back and recommend to all interdimensional beings!

The Requiem Cafe has truly outdone itself with the Digital Circus collaboration! Each drink is a delightful mix of creativity and flavor, making every sip an exciting adventure. The vibrant decor and immersive atmosphere perfectly complement the unique menu, creating an unforgettable experience!

My daughter wanted to check out this place after hearing about it from a friend. It wasn't quite what I expected but she was thrilled. The fantasy-themed decor makes it feel like an escape. The coffee drinks are on the sweeter side, which is not my favorite but our girls were thrilled. Seems like we were there the day after a big event because they were sold out of several food items but we are glad we went.

Requiem is a special MAGICAL place! A nonprofit cafe that is a safe space for LGBTQA+ and nerds and anyone! The food is yummy the drinks are great and the ambiance is impeccable! I really appreciate everything Chris and the staff do for the community and their patrons. NO WHERE ELSE is doing the amazing things requiem is for fans of animation, nerds, and people who needa 3rd space to feel space and build community! I used to run a monthly board game meetup here and everyone was super helpful and friendly. I highly recommend going to requiem and enjoying the atmosphere, care, and events! Thank you for everything you guys do

I always love coming here for events! The staff is very accommodating. The food and drinks are very average and don't fit the pictures. Overall a great place to hang out and buy merch and do activities! The pictures show me at their recent Over the Garden Wall event.

Went for the Over the Garden Wall event and it was beautifully decorated! The food and drinks fit the event so well and were delicious. They also had merch stands on the other side of the cafe where I bought some really nice cardigans and sweaters. They also had an area for board games and free play. We easily spent 2 hours here. The staff were so friendly and we has such a great time! Thank you SOOO much, will be coming again :)

I love this cafe! Beyond having great curated drinks and food and fun decor, they do a lot to foster a sense of community - they throw events ranging from karaoke, board game events, to full blown collaborations such as the one they recently did for Over the Garden Wall. I wish I lived closer - I would be visiting all the time! But I do make the trek from LA a few times a year and it's a great time every time. :) My only request is I wish they had more vegan options! But I am grateful for the ones they do have. Go check it out! It's a great cafe with people who really care about fostering a community.

Tasty snacky food and prices are affordable. The vibes are super chill even during collab events. The wait for popular events is absolutely worth it. I do recommend if you do not want to wait in a terribly long line to go on a weekend where the hype of a collaboration event has died down a bit. Overall, the staff are very pleasant to interact with. Definitely one of the few reasons I go to the OC ❤️

Don't know if it's because I'm a regular, or just treat the staff like humans l, but I always feel welcomed when I come here. And God forbid I'm asked to watch my kids and make sure they don't break anything. In all seriousness though, this place is an absolute gem. Food and drinks are amazing, karaoke is a blast, and the expanded gaming area is wonderful.

This place is so cute! The atmosphere is so pretty when you first walk in with the lighting and indoor 'tree', the geeky aesthetic is such a cute concept, and a lot of their menu items being based on game and anime is a nice touch. I personally really love their Tea Salt Ice Cream based on the Kingdom Hearts series. The staff are also so friendly! They're so kind and welcoming, and even really accommodating. They even so far to offer a replacement drink one time when there were issues with one specific drink that was happening due to sourcing issues, even though I enjoyed the tea anyways. It's the extra niceties that go the longest way. Also the events they host, big or small, are just so nice! It brings a sense of community that I really just can't get enough of. It's welcoming to say the least. This isn't even mentioning the connected store(?) to the cafe with board games, video game setups, and even arts and craft sections for customers to hang out at and just do their thing. Honestly, one of my favorite places to visit whenever I'm in Cali.

So I was looking for coffee as I waited for a table at a different restaurant and came across this spot. I was definitely not expecting to walk into such a cool spot! The cherry blossom tree caught me attention. So cool looking inside. Enjoy your coffee or tea, I had coffee it was good.

If you like board games or a nerd that wants to chill at a place to work from their computer this is an awesome place. Their prices on their drinks are reasonable. I highly suggest their carmelized pear tea. Their "potions" are on the sweeter side for my taste but if you like sweet things I highly suggest their "Stamina" potion. They do offer food which unfortunately to say it is a bit lacking and a bit over priced for what they offer. But choosing a favorite item on the menu would be the kupo caprese. It is redreshing and light but with a price tag of 7.50 for a slice it's a bit lacking. Nonetheless I wpuld definitely come back here for their teas and environment. I look forward in to coming back here!

It's a pretty cool space designed with gamers in mind. Thematically, it resembles a few background scenes from various games. For instance, at the entrance, it resembles the magical scenes you'd find in the Trine series games. As far as drinks are concerned, I think they're overpriced for the quality, but they weren't bad. It's worth visiting at least once.

K

They have "special " drinks.....they were okay.... A breakfast sandwich which was NOT edible!!! The prices are extremely high for the mediocre drinks and sandwich purchased. I would definitely advise people to eat and drink elsewhere. The "Digital Circus " was okay.....

I tried the Captain's Rose (a floral Earl Grey milk tea) and the Brewster cocktail. The milk tea was good- a little sweet, and the boba was way too hard, but the flavor was great. The Brewster was VERY sweet and syrupy. Service is excellent and the ambience and themed menu are very cool. Overall- this is a place that exists more for the ambience than for the food and drinks, but the ambience is incredibly cool. Come for the experience, not for the food.

Super kind and efficient staff! We rented out an area for my birthday and everything was beautiful. There was amazing attention to detail in all of the areas but, we were in the forest area with a bunch of little cubbies to lounge surrounded by wisteria hangings, mushrooms, and sitting in trees. I absolutely loved it! I will advise though, if you’re thinking about reserving an area, people will not read the sign and will try to join your group. It didn’t bother me much at all as I love making new friends but just an fyi :) not the establishments fault and I would definitely visit again!

The shop is a bit smaller than I expected based on other pictures. It's a big rectangular room with sectional groupings in different themes. It is very cute. They were extremely busy, so we had to wait about 30 minutes before all 4 of us got our food order, but it was all tasty. We want to go again when it's not as busy.

Finally got to visit Requiem while in town. Throughly enjoyed the aesthetic. There is a storefront connected to the Café that sells merchandise and has additional seating. They currently had a collab with Doki Doki Literature Club. My friends are I ordered Yuri's Ghost Light Tea, Sayori's Raincloud Soda, and Natsuki's Cupcake Milk Tea.

Ok so this place is pretty rad! If you’re a super nerd you’ll enjoy and appreciate it probably more than I did! The decor is why it’s getting such a high rating, my two daughters (5yr and 10yr) couldn’t get enough of the place. Amazing photo opportunities. But the coffee and the snacks are mediocre at best. They’re not terrible but could definitely be better. It’s free entry, open late (I think 11pm).

We went to check out the Owl House event. All the food and drinks are themed to the show. The palisman waffle was very crispy and cute. There is also an area that has merchandise

Great place and great vibes always great to go when a collab or event during a collab is going on. Even if nothing going on they still have side events they do. As sometimes your experience can very but honest I feel like this cafe as a whole still has chance to grow and keep approving from where it is now. I do see some bad reviews coming from what it seems lime high expectations. Or a misunderstanding by not looking into there promos other then the promo but I guess in the way if many people misunderstood maybe just have the event promos be more clear or more info to be show directly on the promos. But overall looking forward to coming back to all future events

This place was pretty cool, went for the digital circus pop-up. The atmosphere was super awesome, loved the whimsical vibes and giant DnD chair and table. When we got there a lot of the food items were gone besides a few treats. My first drink, the zooble parts, tasted like water, however it was awesome that the staff exchanged the drink for me for the Funny One which was the Jax taro drink. That was SOOO good, I loved it.

Loved the vibes and the drinks! Definitely wished they had a wider hot drink selection, but other than that this place is a solid Coffee and Tea spot. Definitely will be returning here in the future.

I would give this a better score but I am currently disappointed with this place. In fact, I would be happy to retract and change this score. This was my first time here and FYI there is no military discount. I ordered the Ribbon Strawberry (bubble waffle). Unlike the description, there were no fresh strawberries, which is what I was looking forward to, or the strawberry Pocky. There were some sprinkles (which I am NOT a fan) on my waffle ice cream creation and some strawberry drizzle. I was told, after I asked, that they were out of strawberries and Pocky. Good customer service would be to tell a patron while they are ordering and could have offered a discount. I might give this place another chance if owner can convince me or other patrons have better experiences. Flavors were good but can be made at home or found elsewhere. Atmosphere is quite fun for Japanese/animé gamers. Very creative!

All show. This place looks amazing but has some major flaws. First up drinks: we ordered 4 drinks. Coffee was decent enough but 2 of the teas were room temperature and mostly no flavor. The Thai tea Boba was ok but the Boba wasn't even good. Next up food: we ordered a strawberry ribbon puffle waffle. Wasn't a puffle waffle at all but a regular waffle bowl of ice cream. Ambiance: way crowded and the few seats are really uncomfortable. Most of the place is blocked off for extra charge to use so all that great stuff to see is basically just that. Staff was super nice though and I'd does look really cool, but the cost and quality mixed was not worth it. Just watch a tik tok of it you get a better experience.

I went for the Undertale event. There was an enormous line to get in and I was miserable in the sun, but that wasn't exactly the fault of the cafe. The staff was helpful and friendly, and the place seems very LGBT+ positive which was nice. The interior was beautiful and had lots of decor for the Undertale event on top of their own mystical feel, it felt very Final Fantasy X. The food itself was... Meh. Very small portions for high prices, premade in cheap packaging and made from mediocre ingredients. The drinks were prepared fresh and were much more interesting in my opinion. The Sea Tea in particular was really good! Light and sweet, with an interesting salty floral flavor. All in all the visit was kind of underwhelming, but I'm glad I tried it at least once.

Very beautiful decor, food and drinks were personally not my favourite, a little too sweet for my taste. Staff were nice too. Definitely worth a visit for the decor and vibes.

I really, really want to give this place a chance. I really do. I started coming here since they started the Undertale cafe and I made amazing friends that I still talk to, to this day and I kept coming back to the events. By far my favorite event has been the DDLC and Omori Collabs and I’ve had no problems at all. I even came to the cafe on my birthday during normal hours just to hangout and relax. HOWEVER, after those events, my friends and I started noticing a decline in quality during the Over the Garden Wall and The Amazing Digital Circus collabs. I think its great this cafe is doing big collabs, but I don’t think it’s very humane to have to make people stand outside in the heat and wait, especially if they’re in cosplay and by a busy main street where cars are constantly honking. The reservation system was great idea, but I don’t think there should be a stand by line. Maybe its time for you guys to upgrade to a bigger building, bigger staff, maybe some improvements? Maybe paused the collabs for now and figure out a way to improving the flow/or perhaps its time to upgrade to a bigger and better building? I’m not saying this out of hate, I love this cafe, I genuinely do! I would to see Requiem flourish and become better than before! 🫶🏼

they need to set up some type of reservation system, waited for over 2+ hours in line and didn’t even make it halfway :( had to leave. they did offer water but there was even a long line for that. near the front we could overhear the workers telling others “we will rush you” very cool ideas for events, i just wish it was better managed

The cafe itself is super cute, with a cozy atmosphere! Definitely the place for fantasy vibes. However, we were unfortunately left very disappointed when we visited for the Over the Garden Wall collaboration. We decided to come for the Fanart event, as I’m a huge long-time fan of the show and can never find art or merch, or really even people who know what I’m talking about. We drove 6 hours, and ended up waiting in a 3-hour line. It only went around the corner and down half the sidewalk, but it rarely moved. The artists decided to stay late, which is awesome and appreciated! Right before going in, we were told to get our food at the cafe first before going to the art. However, inside they were out of just about everything. The fanart event, I was disappointed to find that it was mostly art and merch completely unrelated to the show, and of things I don’t know anything about—despite the social media promotions portraying it would be much more OTGW for the collaboration. Ended up leaving after 5 minutes with one sticker and a lantern. Upon calling the next day to ask if there would be any of the food or drinks, we were shortly told that they would get a new shipment sometime in the week and that we should just come back. We don’t live anywhere near the area. Would have come on a regular, less busy day if I had known that the fanart for the OTGW event was mostly other fandoms and shows (no fault to the artists! we were going based off the social media promotions and the fact it was an OTGW event). We also would’ve really appreciated any kind of update in the line that almost all the food and drinks were out too, as that was the other big reason we and many people came and waited. While I understand that this is a small cafe and not a convention as they have said, this seems to be a consistent issue according to other visitors and posts. If Requiem wants to run these kinds of events, then the organization and preparation of a con unfortunately needs to be involved. These events need to be ticketed or require reservations, the prices can be as low as they’d like as long as there’s a visitor limit! We would’ve gladly reserved. There’s also no time limit on visitors going inside. We were watching reviews and posts from people talking about how they were spending hours in the cafe. Ultimately, we got something else and went home. I hope things will begin to organize, not just for us but for the staff as well, small-cafe employees shouldn’t have to deal with the stress of such an unorganized influx, especially with frustrated customers. It seems management doesn’t handle negative reviews or criticism well either.

My boyfriend and I came together for the Over the Garden wall event, of course it took like an hour and a half to get in I didn't mind that too much. My problem was with the themed food and drinks, my boyfriend had the 'Eat Your Dirt' dessert and we both had the 'Potato and Molasses' drink. The food was honestly sickingly sweet, still yummy but it was honestly too sweet. The main problem is that my boyfriend got food poisoning from the Eat Your Dirt pudding. He initially threw up the pudding after a couple hours then started shaking and hasn't stopped throwing up. We've eaten all the same things except the pudding. I don't want to point fingers but I'm actually scared for his health now. I might take him to the hospital tomorrow. Also side note the decor for over the garden wall was underwhelming. I want to love this place but my baby girl comes first. Be careful for the pudding just in case 😔😔

Came here October 25th at 11am for the Over the Graden Wall event. We were promised an opening at 12pm but it had hit 1pm and the doors were still closed so we ended up leaving. We tried again on November 2nd, and once again there was some delay and the lines were not moving at all. We’ve always heard Requiem has great events, but we’ve never been able to get inside to see them. There has to be another way or management system to get the line moving as it seems to be impossible to get in for special events.

I hate that I have to say anything other than positive things about this place because it’s such a cute concept and the interior is a really neat experience. The onigiri and coffee we ordered were both delicious! But we also got the Destiny Island waffle dish and I have to say the staff needs to be aware that the pearl sprinkles are inedible. I hurt my tooth with the first bite I took, and had to eat the dish extremely slowly (and painfully) until we eventually gave up and tossed the rest. The pearl sprinkles are so hard, and sitting on ice cream probably makes it even worse, because it’s like biting into a rock. It’s a very jarring experience. I highly recommend someone on the staff tries these sprinkles on ice cream and experiences what it’s like to try to eat a dish with them in it, I would not recommend keeping them around. My second issue was with the gift shop attached to the cafe, which sells a lot of cute products from plushies to tcg packs. They had a couple t shirts folded and bagged on a table marked $45 with a sign that said “do not open” on them, but the designs were clearly intricate and the sizes extremely limited so it was hard to tell what the shirts would look like in full view. I asked a blue haired employee if they had any pictures of the shirts or anything to show what they looked like in full view, and they said, and I quote, “just google it”. It felt so rude and condescending. This place is a neat experience, and worth visiting, but I really hope they take this into account and remove the pearl sprinkles from their menu items. It’s possible it’s the cold ice cream that makes them harder, but what we had was inedible and a hazard. And I guess if you want to buy merchandise, “just google it” first so you know what you’re spending $45 on.

Went here for The Amazing Digital Circus collaboration, and I purposefully avoided seeing as much videos so that I wouldn’t get spoiled, but I wish I did to see how it was going to turn out. We got inside and it’s… alright of course, they worked hard to have the environment cozy and have lots of photo ops, but what really disappointed me was the experience. All food was already sold out, which is what I was looking forward to, since I wanted to try the vegan burger I saw. Not even any of the snacks available, just the drinks. My Gatergoo was genuinely delicious however. The merchandise, while it’s nice that you can support independent artists’ prints, they barely had any actual digital circus merch besides pins. (Might I mention a pin and keychain costed $30…) The event, while yes it was at 5 pm on a Sunday, was already overcrowded inside, with us getting our drinks 45 minutes isn’t the event after constant standing in line. If you are standby you will have to deal with this on TOP of waiting outside. I wish they could have done a better job estimating how many people would show up, and prepare for the food in advance. Not sure if I’ll come back for another collab event, and if I do, just go as early as possible…? Of course they are trying their best, but unfortunately this made me have a negative experience visiting.

never actually got to try it because the line went around multiple blocks and inconvenienced many neighboring businesses. the lack of infrastructure and preparation for such a high profile one day event is disappointing to say the least. there werent even line barriers and we saw people cutting.

My review disappeared, I'm not sure why... This venue really needs to work on how it handles Special Events. Went for their Over the Garden Wall event. Event was set for 12, we arrived at 10:30. After six hours of waiting in line, we were informed by an employee we'd likely have to wait at least another hour and a half. Those who had already entered were not being given time limits, and there appeared to be little organization or effort by the staff to keep the line moving at a reasonable pace. Some hours we were lucky if the line moved at all. Eventually we had to leave as we had other obligations and couldn't wait any longer. Never even made it inside. Overheard the same employee saying those at the back of the line when we left might be waiting an additional six hours, but we saw no efforts being made to inform those in the back of the line. Nor was there an effort seen to speed things up or at the very least stop more people form joining the line. The staff were all very nice, and I'm sure doing their best with a bad situation. But yeah... disappointing.

I wish I could rate this place negative stars. I came for an Over the Garden Wall event and waited over 7 hours in line and never got in. There was no effort from the staff to move people along, knowing full well the length of the line reached around multiple blocks. The staff was nice and I’m sure the cafe makes tasty drinks but GOOD GOD do they need to figure out how to manage crowds if these kinds of events are what they’re known for.

N
Niomi Martinez

Came here cuz I seen them online as a unique coffee shop. I was very disappointed. There wasn't any good food. They were too expensive for what they did have. And the plate I got made me very sick immediately after I finished eating it. The place is very nice. Its a very nice place to hangout and do studies for just relax. Don't come here for the food. It's not good. Or at least I was unlucky with the food.

I Went for the Over The Garden Wall event and I was really disappointed. I absolutely love the show and rewatch it every year. I was so excited that when I heard about this event that I even put aside a day for it. Decorations felt lack luster and showed little effort. I got the Potatoes and Molasses drink and it was just fine, my brother got the whole package drink and was extremely watered down and tasteless. The drinks also looked nothing like the pictures and were honestly just ugly. We got the Sundae which was fine, pumpkin scone was very dry and the bread itself had no flavor. The banana nut duck bread was good considering was just banana bread. Over all I would not recommend this place to anyone and it’s a shame people have to wait so long in line for such a mid cafe.

I went to the Over the Garden Wall Experience today with three friends and was extremely disappointed. We’re not ones to shy away from a long wait for a good experience, but everything about this visit fell below average. We followed every direction given before entering — ordering all at once, being polite, and not placing multiple orders — yet after an hour-long wait outside, we were told that food orders would take another hour, hot drinks 30 minutes, and that none of their standard menu items were available. The decor was underwhelming: two cardboard cutouts, a poorly made Enoch prop, and one screen looping the show without audio. The cafe wasn’t even busy enough to justify the chaos. The kitchen seemed completely disorganized, and to make matters worse, one of the front staff members openly complained about customers to another employee in front of guests. The drinks were shockingly bad. The lemonade tasted like pure syrup, and the tea-based drink was so watery it was worse than a cheap homemade mix with missing flavor notes advertised. The item shop did have cute designs, but you aren’t allowed to try on any sample items, which is absurd for clothing that costs over $100 and is non-refundable. It’s painfully clear that the staff or possibly the management lack experience in running a cafe or handling customer feedback professionally. Overall, this was an unorganized, unwelcoming, and overpriced experience that doesn’t deserve the hype.

So I went here during the digital circus event. The most I can say is the place looks cute but even for the price I paid not even worth it. it lacks in food/drinks and lacks heavily in their events. First off it's not a big area you'll have better chances of finding a seat a Dunkin and experience was basically the willy Wonka event where people paid for me nothing just cheesy experience The drinks were ok I will admit they were good but felt like nothing special it was pretty expensive for a drink and small piece of chocolate that's no bigger than my hand. What was it 3 dollars ? The VIP reward scavenger hunt was a card that just tricks you into buying food and merch just to give you a post card and the staff telling you "congratulations you did this and it's rare " which is not because my cousin got the same card at a convention recently The main room just cut outs of the characters and video playing on mute of the episodes. There hardly any seats like I mentioned before. The tables are very sticky no one cleans them so it was uncomfortable. The merch shop had hardly anything to sell. There no restocking there nothing really Honestly I don't even feel the wait line necessary they should of just left the doors open and let people get in line for the drinks and the only thing I would do is put a wait line for merch shop so no one steals anything. Trust me the "cafe" area doesn't offer much and no one gonna stick around if they do less than 10 mins I'm sure. If you're gonna have an event at least do something better like karaoke, or fanfic reading, cosplay contest once a day thing. Something or anything to say make it worth the money and time. I don't think I'll be coming back but I do wish this place better and I hope they do better events

THE PLACE IS EMPTY AND WERE WAITING OUTSIDE IN THE HOT SUN! They need to have a virtual waitlist system so fans and customers aren’t waiting outside in the hot sun. We get that their busy, their not really busy because there’s A TOTAL OF 5 PEOPLE INSIDE. This is so disorganized and disappointing. Update: In response to the owner calling the place “packed” here are some photos from inside when I went to the bathroom. Not packed and SEVERAL open seats and tables.

Jaime “Cousinnips”

I really wish that this place had a bigger team/better planning skills/better everything, or just STOPPED HOSTING EVENTS. I’ve been to the TADC and the Undertale event and waited hours for both just to never get in. They ran out of every food item and every drink by 2:00 PM the day I went to the Undertale event and I got there at like 8 in the morning to get in line. I never even got to go inside! It’s just a different kind of evil to be setting up these events when the management has no idea how to prepare. They never cook enough of the stuff or buy enough supplies TO cook the stuff, but they’ve seen the crowds over the years so they should know by now to either really plan or just quit. They aren’t trying to make these events remotely fun. They don’t even put the effort into it, they’re just trying to make money off of it. They overprice all their items and from friends I’ve heard the food’s not even good but that’s not something I even got to experience. But for real, I was turning 14 when I went to the Undertale one and my birthday was ruined. I drove a really long way just to be disappointed, and I was just a kid. A lot of other kids were very disappointed too, especially now with the TADC. I’m never coming back.
