Tangaroa Terrace offers a pleasant, island-themed dining experience at the Disneyland Hotel, with many praising the atmosphere and friendly staff. Popular for breakfast and quick bites, some found inconsistencies in food quality, particularly with freshness and flavor.
Tip: The portions are generous, so consider sharing a dish. Also, it's a great spot to grab breakfast without a long wait.

This was my first time here. Love the atmosphere inside, but there is more seating outside. I ordered the Hawaiian cheeseburger. It was so good! Must be top grade beef! My daughter had the poke bowl. She said it was fresh and delicious. We ordered a cool drink that the waitress set the sugar cubes on fire! It's totally cool. I will visit again. It was my daughter's birthday. She received a sherbet type ice-cream treat. That was good, too!
The Disneyland Hotel has the best food options of all the on-property hotels in my opinion. The drinks are great and the food is some of the best at Disney, especially their breakfast. The ube french toast is my favorite breakfast and worth every penny.
Traders Sam’s quick service option. We had the pupu platter, dry rub wings, gyozas kids cheeseburger, pina coladas, virgin pina coladas and the Hazy IPA. Everything was totally amazing. Of course it’s Disney so the atmosphere speaks for itself but the wings were awesome! They come with a southwest ranch sauce and have a kick, delicious and moist! The gyozas, puppy platter and burger were all great as well!
We had a great breakfast. The staff was friendly and very accomidating. My cousin is vegan and she ordered the avocado toast not realizing it had ham in it. They made her another one so she enjoy her breakfast.
This is a great spot to grab breakfast without a wait. The soufflé pancakes were delicious and there was gluten free options for my sister. Staff were friendly and there were nice places to sit. You order at the till, get a number, choose a table and they will bring your food to you. Update from second visit: Another win, this time for lunch. I had the Hawaiian Platter with chicken and my sister had the same gluten free with beef. They were both delicious! There is a soda machine where you can select from tons of flavours, the peach coke was delightful! Staff were super friendly again.
We ate breakfast here as a quick-service restaurant. Breakfast available until 11. The portions are much bigger than represented in the menu photos...one dish is probably plenty for most. Great tropical flavors to enjoy while seated on the patio or inside. Very friendly cast members here! The Thick & Fluffy Japanese Pancakes were amazing with their guava syrup and fresh fruit. The Loco Moco Burrito was good overall but could use more gravy throughout (maybe request a side of it). A very nice breakfast in the Downtown Disney and Disneyland Hotel area.
Atmosphere- 5 stars- What can I say! In the middle of the Disneyland Resort with views of tropical gardens, tiki torches and the pool- just awesome!! Service- extremely friendly cast members!! Very helpful with ordering ideas. It’s basically counter service or online ordering but they bring everything to your table. They roam around making sure you don’t need anything and take away your empty trays- plates. Food- Prices can be high but this is to be expected however you can order from the kids menu which is a lot better pricing. These meals include a drink- unlimited soda refills. We got a kids cheeseburger meal and a kids teriyaki chicken bowl and both were really good. We also got an order of pork gyoza - very good as well. We loved this place!!!

This Bar & Grill is a good spot at Disneyland Hotel offering island-inspired dishes, refreshing cocktails, and a relaxed vibe. With tiki decor and outdoor seating, it’s perfect for a laid-back dining experience.
Very friendly and professional staff, great food, nice Polynesian ambiance! It was freezing, but they had heaters and it warmed is up quick. The burger was cooked perfectly and delicious! The ramen looked amazing but the broth could've had a bit more flavor. They had live music as well. We had a great time!
Great allergy-friendly menu and full bar, including rum dole whip, at the comfort of your hotel. It's so nice to be able to check in on travel days (no park tickets yet) and still get dole whip 😊

The service here is outstanding and the breakfast options came out fast and delicious. The french toast and pork dish stands out. Dole whips are also avialable here along with trader Sam's tiki drinks at a walk up window.
Solid and simple breakfast option if you are staying at Disneyland Hotel with your family. We appreciated they opened early (7am). You order at register and they bring the food out to you. Breakfast was quick, easy, and what we expected. Tangaroa Toast had great flavor. American breakfast was perfect for our kids. Avocado Toast was great too.
We love the pina coladas and the poke bowls here. This is a really nice, relaxing place to unwind and get out of the heat of Anaheim while at the Disneyland hotel. But be warned, they are pretty expensive (probably not much of a surprise given it's at Disneyland). Also, be warned, they serve the absolute worst coffee we've ever had (We've tried it twice just to make sure!) in their grab and go area. Don't bother doing breakfast there, just walk down to Starbucks in Downtown Disney.

The quick service option for Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar No validation for Downtown Disney (Simba Parking Lot) parking Tangaroa Terrace has the same menu as it's sit-down restaurant cousin, with some menu items being a dollar cheaper or so (Tonkotusu Ramen). Had a Disney e-gift card, and decided to eat here, after being declined at Storyteller's Cafe, due to high demand. Tonkotsu Ramen- Rich pork-based broth, fish cake, wavy noodles, pork belly, green onions, shiitake mushrooms, marinated soft-boiled egg, garlic oil & nori. Sambal on the side. Just as good as ramen from a ramen shop, Tangaroa Terrace's Tonkotsu Ramen was a good portion of soup in a large bowl. Unfortunately, it seems fish cake is no longer included, despite being specified by the menu description. However, the pork belly chashu was tender, the wavy noodles (my favorite ramen noodles) al dente, and the shiitake mushrooms providing umami. I did feel the soft-boiled egg was slightly overcooked, as some of the yolk was solid. I asked the attendant for chili flake/oil, to where she informed me of the side of sambal. Having only a slight markup compared to ramen from a ramen shop, Trader Sam's Tonkotsu Ramen is delicious and a great meal to have when nearby. Safari Swizzle- Hamilton 151 rum, fresh lime juice, mint & agave nectar, Angostura bitters. Asking the attendant for recommendations on a less sweet, more stiff drink, she suggested the Safari Swizzle, and I immensely enjoyed the minty & herbaceous, overproofed tropical drink. Service was fine. Wait was minimal for food & drink. Tangaroa Terrace wasn't busy at the time. Tables are first come, first serve, so availability may vary. A good option for a meal, Tangaroa Terrace is a great option for when you want something fast casual, so more time can be spent at the theme parks or shopping at Downtown Disney. I look forward to coming back and exploring the rest of the menu, but it will be mighty hard to pass up on another bowl of that delicious tonkotsu ramen.

My husband and I stopped here for breakfast one morning to try out the Japanese pancakes. The Terrace has both indoor and outdoor seating. There is a refrigerated grab and go section and a place where you can give them your order. Take out is available along with mobile order. I learned that later on in the day they serve the famous dole whips you would find in Disneyland and oddly enough they serve the famous pog juice that you would only find at the Polynesian Village in Walt Disney World. Would have loved to have stayed for that! The Japanese pancakes were light and fluffy and with the guava and toppings made it just right. Even the orchid is edible. The bacon on the other hand was so tough I couldn't even cut it with a knife. I had already sent this dish back once because the order was cold and they prepared us a new plate so I didn't want to bother with that again. This is the fast casual eatery of the Disneyland hotel. It has that tropical vibe to it and the scenery around it is spectacular-much like the Polynesian longhouses. Definitely recommend the pancakes if you are coming here.

We ask if the food was made fresh, the employee said yes... When the food came it was cold and had clearly been sitting under a heater for hours. I realize the place was slow but it was dinner time and they should just make so yummy new food or be upfront about the food making process of the location. Soda machine made a junk drink. Music was good.
Came here for the Ube-stuffed french toast and to be honest I was a bit disappointed. They're not really french toast is just bread with ube sauce and fruit on top, the part that was disappointing is that the bread was burnt and that flavor over powered the ube sauce. My daughter ordered the Kalua pork breakfast croissant but was also very disappointing, the kalua pork was extremely dry and flavorless. Not sure we will ever go back

The location, atmosphere are great. But if you are coming here for good food…. Wrong place! Breakfast was nasty! powdered eggs(scramble ) , the bacon is probably cooked hours before it makes it to your plate., for the “American breakfast” . The loco moco burrito was all rice! One egg, and maybe 1/3 of cup of cooked ground beef. You might get a taste of gravy ... our daughters breakfast was the only decent thing but it was a pancake. . Customer service is always good but food….. there are not many options on site. This place not so good if you want a tasty bite to start your day.

They have servers in the bar area. Yet they won’t serve you. They made 20+ people stand in a line just to order glasses of wine and food while the servers and bar tenders for the area simply bussed tables and only served people sitting directly at the bar. I’m unsure why they have employed servers that provide no service. I would have expected much more from a place in the Disneyland hotel. I waited for 30 minutes for 2 glasses of wine after very long day in the park and I just wanted to have a glass of wine. Very disappointing. Below is the Neverending line.
