Today my family and I decided to stop at this wonderful place. Since we didn't have a reservation, we had to wait for a table, but it was all a matter of minutes. Once we were seated, they came to take our orders very quickly, and to our great surprise, given how packed it was, within ten minutes we were already eating. From the starters to the polenta and dessert, everything was truly excellent. The only thing that didn't make me say wow was the sausage sauce, but everything else was truly delicious. Don't underestimate the portions; in fact, they are, along with the taste, a plus, as they are truly generous. If you stop by, don't miss the polenta concia. The staff was very friendly, and the atmosphere was, needless to say, amazing.

Courtesy reigns supreme, then the cuisine, the place... The food is excellent. The view is beautiful; in short, you have to go. I forgot the price, around 20 euros per person. There were 11 of us: one appetizer, four first courses, five polentas with one regular polenta, three sausages, two mushrooms, one tartare with a side dish, one carbonada, eight desserts, eight coffees (both fortified and non-fortified), a complimentary digestif, plus water and wine...

The idea of ​​bringing guests up to the refuge on snowmobiles, even in groups, is original and exciting. It offers an excellent dinner of traditional Aosta Valley cuisine, including cured meats, polenta with sausage and stew, homemade dessert, and coffee, all at a great value. The refuge is in a spectacular location with a magnificent view of the valley, nestled in the snow. The stone exterior and wooden furnishings, including a fireplace, create a warm atmosphere. Service is prompt and the staff is friendly and helpful. An experience worth repeating, for sure.

Delicious and made with truly local ingredients. Breathtaking views of the valley, excellent value. Delicious polenta concia, exceptional mushrooms, delicious wild boar, and everything with plenty of "sughetto"! Very large and well-kept outdoor space with sofas and loungers for relaxing before and after. Delicious homemade desserts and exceptional service! Really good! We'll definitely be back!

Personale molto cortese, servizio al tavolo sulle piste ottimo. Buono il cibo per essere sulle piste. Buona la polenta, ottimo lo spezzatino. Molto buoni i panini e il tiramisù. Qualità prezzo eccellente.

Ottima esperienza vicino alla seggiovia a di Torgnon, locale accogliente, cibo genuino e preparato in modo eccezionale...menù tipico dei luoghi montani, selvaggina,polenta concia, lardo con castagne. Personale gentile e servizio celere. Anche la scelta dei vini in carta è buona. Consigliato anche per la location, con vista sulla valle meravigliosa!

A beautiful location with a great view, just steps from the slopes and chairlift. It has both indoor and outdoor seating. Local menu with polenta, cured meats, and game. Some dishes are good, others less so. Quick service, fair prices. I also recommend it for the opportunity to relax after lunch on the lounge chairs on the outdoor lawn.

We decided to spend a family day in the snow on December 8th and headed to Torgnon, where we'd already tried other places. Reservations weren't possible, but upon arrival, we were informed of the wait time, which was respected. We sat down and quickly placed our order. There were plenty of people working in the dining room, and the kitchen was also very busy. Despite a 4-course meal with sausages and venison, as well as a first course, everything arrived within 10-15 minutes. The polenta concia was delicious, as was the venison; the sausage wasn't so good, but the potato gnocchi with venison ragù were also very good. The four cheeses we shared were also very good. I expected more from the place itself; perhaps I had different expectations based on the photos. Overall, the excellent food and service make me recommend this bar and restaurant right on the slopes. Note: The bathrooms are super clean, despite the crowds. I hope that, in addition to the staff's skill, the locals are finally returning to civility. Satisfied even at the checkout with kindly offered bitters.

Lunch in July 2023. A cabin with a beautiful view of the mountains, with indoor and outdoor dining options. We had to set our table with placemats and glasses left on the table. One of our guests injured his knee from a nail discovered under the table, and a waitress stained my pants with sauce while clearing the table. The polenta, meat, and desserts were good, as were the prices. We waited a bit before being seated, but we didn't wait long before being served.
