The food was very flavorful and was very filling. Idania was an absolute gem and helped us out with everything. She made the experience easy and fast to sit and enjoy some food

I came here a few days ago and loved it. I love latin food and here it’s great. Also the service incredible, I was attended by a red haired short lady, I think she said her name was Idanya, she was super fast and lovely , and did her best to understand me even when she’s hispanic, thank y’all so much.

I had a great experience when I came here. The food was amazing and a good environment. Thanks Idania for offering a great service, even though she struggles to speak English she was super nice and helpful. Loved it here

My family have the Lonchera cater our thanksgiving dinner and every thing was tasty and delicious also staff members were very friendly

The food was very good and the portion well served. The place is clean and the customer service even though a little slow was polite. I recommend this restaurant. We tried arroz con guandules, carne guisada, pernil and salmon.

First time eating here. Was in the mood for Latino pork after talking to a coworker. My wife saw this place over her shoulder as we drive by and I made a u-turn to check it out Instantly we knew we were in the right place. I don't know if they send Amy out to talk to the white folks but she arrived just in time and was fantastic. She explained everything to us so patiently and kindly. 8 different types of rice and just as many/more protein options, vegetables and HUGE portions. We had to split a plate. They introduced us to Pastelon which she described to us as Puerto Rican lasagna with platanos instead of pasta. Didn't think we were gonna like that. Think beef and bananas. IT WAS AMAZING! So, check out La Lechonera! But get there early. It fills up quick and parking isn't enough.

Had lunch and the variety of food was outstanding. I had pork chops yellow rice and plantains. Very good anb brought some home.

Everything I ate was absolutely delicious.. perfectly cooked and served with plenty. The only thing that disturbed me was that people were cleaning their own tables. Even I was sitting for at least 30 minutes and no one wiped down and sanitized the tables. Yet people kept coming. I really like this place and am willing to go back and sit down with my family. Please have a designated person clean the dining area. Keep those delicious food coming..🍮🥑🦐🥘🥗😋😋

This is a great Latin restaurant in town. They offer a wide range of soups, ceviche, pork dishes, sandwiches, and more. There is almost no wait time. I’m impressed with the variety of food items they have and will definitely go back to try different dishes.

This place is the best bang for your buck. The food tastes very good. The food is fresh. They give you a lot of food for $15. The service is quick. The restaurant atmosphere is chill. One of the best restaurants in Apopka!

For Spanish food take out in the Orlando Metropolitan area, this is my go to. It's a hop and a skip on West State Rd 436 in Altamonte Springs, FL. There is a great variety of well prepared foods with Latino flavors. The meals are very reasonably priced and the portions are very generous. The servers are friendly and attentive because trust me the lines may be long but they move quickly.

They have a lot of delicious options for Spanish style foods and pastries. I ordered a pork shoulder and 7 lbs of chicharrones for a birthday party and everyone loved the food. Seasoned very well. Good spot to grab a quick lunch.

They have recently changed the size of the containers. They are smaller portions now. Food is good and fresh though.

The two ladies there yesterday were rude and told my husband “no” when he asked for them to fill the other side of the plate with more chicken. He asked for 2 different rices, and 2 different chicken meals. The lady gives him 3 scoops of one chicken, and 1 scoop for the other chicken he asked for another scoop and she looks at him and says “no.” There was plenty of food, and since when do restaurants deny their customers food? After another lady came over and tried telling us no as well, then eventually did give more scoops. This was the 2nd time back at the restaurant at that point. My husband and I went to the restaurant and drove 25 minutes home. We realized we were missing a side of beans and he was supposed to get 2 sides of chicken, and he got 1. So we drive back and try to start ordering again. We’re standing in the front of line and 2 ladies leave from being the counter as we’re standing there and start pushing in chairs in the lobby. Everyone else, even people who were unoccupied ignored us. We stood there for about 10 minutes waiting, being the only ones in line and maybe 2 other people being helped. When we started ordering, our intention was to get everything fresh again. Our time was wasted at this point, gas, and money. We ordered ready to go food at first and had to come back, it’s not hot and enjoyable anymore. We never touched any of the first plates either. When we finally got help, a lady started fixing our plates again. And when we get to the roasted chicken there’s only 3 pieces left so I ask for some fresh ones. They told me it’d be 5 minutes. My husband and I said we would wait. After a few minutes , employee attitude, and odd/confused looks from staff, I asked how much longer. The lady holds up 3 fingers, then 4, then says 6 minutes. And after they took the plate to the back of the kitchen, I advised that I did not want them to do that. With the interaction already, I didn’t have trust that they wouldn’t do something to the plate- not that they’ve ever done it before (mind you this was my first time here). I just say never mind I don’t want to wait, ask for a new plate. I get white rice, chicken curry, and Teriyaki chicken. I didn’t like it. Bland, fatty. The rice here is good. No hot sauce unless you beg dang near or reach over/ask someone already sitting down to use one that’s only on the (scarce amount of) tables. They’ll tell you they don’t have anymore hot sauce to give you after only receiving 1 pack. I was disappointed in my meal at the end, the service, the atmosphere and disorganization of customers getting their plates made and the employees not making it any better. What was worse was that the receipt doesnt tell you what you get and the menu with prices are off in the store. It was troublesome trying to understand what was being rung up. If there was a communication barrier to where it’s problematic for the business then those menu screens should be on, especially at the fact that none of the food is labeled. I will not be coming back here again. I’m definitely upset with my experience. Edit; Side note: while waiting on the chicken I also noticed the cleaning spray being sprayed near the food. On the side of the refrigerator. Chemicals were everywhere. Edit: I also realized In another comment a black lady was ignored. I’d like to add that I am a black woman and my husband is white.

The triplets was horrible. No sauce the pork looks like a week old . No taste matter fact call me and I’ll show you guys how to make a triplets . Waste of my money. Plus it was burnt woke up with bad stomachache

I got 2 pasteler for $7😮😮😮 I said ok they most be REALLY good. When I come home why is it that the have almost any meat???? They have so much pimienta that is hard to eat the whole thing. And why is it that I found a garbanzo in it? I asked for white rice and frijoles the lady put beans. It didn't bother me cause I like them too but why did I have to ask her to put a Lil bit more of beans cause she barely put any? The rice, beans and pepper steak was pretty good. I wanted chicharrones but they didn't even look fresh. I was excited about finding a lechonera close to the house but after trying the food I don't think I would come back.

Don't want to disrespect but honestly I will never go back. Tasteless food, lots of portions but not been able to eat it. Empanadas- were old n not healthy- sometimes is best to start from scratch n not try to sell what's left over. Soup was extra salty! Bad business! It's best not to cook with salt- in certain demographics- but hey these guys ain't perfect but thier damm good!!!! Things happen! Not a big fan of the place as the food is hit or miss but I still try to support by coming periodically. However, after what I just saw today (less than 30 ago) I am positive I won't return!!! There was an African American women waiting to place her order and not only did the servers totally ignore her to the point of this poor lady walking out but it became a joke within the rest of the servers!!! As a Hispanic woman I found that to be downright disgusting and completely racist!!! They lost me as a customer. Owners should play the cameras back and determine if these are employees they want representing their business!!! Shame shame shame on you!!!!

The turkey was super dry like not an ounce of juice on the pan, the pernil also dry and over cooked. We didn't even have seconds. I went personally today to let them know not apology, girl didn't even ask anything after the older lady explained to the younger one. So disappointed 😞
