We enjoyed beef short ribs with tostones and congri rice and a steak sandwich with a side of boiled yuca. Soda and a martini. The food and service are 10/10! The martini was very strong so if you like a strong cocktail this is the place for you. Leo was our server and he was friendly and attentive. The bartender, Maria made the best martini I’ve had in a long time. This is THE PLACE to go for good service, delicious food and good music. Will be back soon.

This place was absolutely AMAZING to me and my experience. I was looking for a place that could host a large party, allow me to bring my own decorations, had hookah, good Latin food, and with a party vibe with no deposits required. I called on April 1st to inquire about having my partner's surprise 30th birthday party (themed as death to the 20s) at their location set for Saturday, April 13th and needed a table for a party of 30. I spoke with Maria on the phone during this time and also asked her about brining my own decorations for the party. She was so nice and informative. She told me that they are happy to make this event come true and no deposit is required. Everything was a "yes”. She made the suggestion to me that having the party at around 8:30 pm on Saturday April 13th would be best because that is around the time the DJ/Live Music comes on stage. I was happy with everything that was said so I made the reservation with her. So let's fast forward to the day before the event, I called to confirm my reservation but I also asked if I could add an additional 10 more people to my party (totaling of a party size of 40) and the lady on the phone (sorry i don't remember her name of who i spoke with that time) said that this would be no problem. I also asked if we can set up the decorations prior to arrival the day of the party at around 7pm. I also got a "yes”. Now, the day of the party...THEY MADE THE EVENT AMAZING!!!!! The entire party invited kept telling me how much they loved the restaurant! They truly gave us the red carpet treatment. The live band engaged with our party the entire time. We sang, we danced, we ate, we drank, we laughed, we partied, we had the BEST time! Our servers were attentive to each of us, which can be difficult with a party size this large. Our food came out in a timely manner and everyone mentioned how much their meals were delicious. I have nothing bad to say about this place. There were 0 issues/concerns and they made this process so seamless and stress free for me to orchestrate. I also want to add that most of our party is apart of the LGBTQIA community and there was no judgment whatsoever. I sincerely can not thank you all enough for everything you have done to make this vision come true and go above and beyond my expectations. From the beginning of booking the event with Maria, to the next call with confirming my booking, to the servers, the bartenders, to the live band, to the entire kitchen staff, EVERTHING WAS PERFECTION! I wish this business nothing but blessing and continued success! THANK YOU!!!!!!! You have a forever customer and a walking billboard.

The atmosphere is beautiful, colorful, and sparkling.. Absolutely gorgeous!!. Our server was extremely helpful and consistent. We tried Garibaldi first but the host was so rude and unhelpful. We had to look for another restaurant and we are so glad we did.. ☺ we will definitely be back

My wife and I had lunch here today and the food was very good, the service was kind and professional and the establishment was very clean with a fun atmosphere. They have live music on stage on Thursday-Saturday nights from 10pm till 2am. The menu is robust with lots of Latin cuisine options.

Amazing food service and ambiance! We were drawn to this restaurant by the menu. This restaurant has the entire package: wonderful service, great ambiance and amazingly delicious food! We went for lunch and we’re seated right away by Henry. He is such a fantastic server! He is courteous, friendly, and attentive. He answered our questions and we ordered 2 appetizers and our entrees. We decided to order from the dinner menu. The appetizers were Calamari and Tostones con camarones (fried plantains with shrimp) which both were perfectly cooked and served with unique flavorful sauces. DH ordered the Churrasco steak with congri rice (rice cooked with the beans and seasonings) and a salad with the oil and vinegar mix dressing. The steak was tasty and tender and the rice was delicious. The dressing was unique and delicious (yes we’re raving about the dressing). My Picanha steak was delicious, the rice and beans were awesome and so were the Tostones. We loved their food so much, we ordered another Churrasco steak to take home and 2 desserts (flan). It’s only the 2 of us at home too!! Henry is an awesome server. He paced our meal well and we didn’t feel rushed. We also didn’t want for anything! We truly appreciate his demeanor and attentiveness. We will return and ask for him when we do. Do yourself a favor and experience this restaurant! You’ll be glad that you did!

I’ve been to Morenas several times, and I’d like to give a special shout-out to Laura, the waitress who has served me on multiple occasions. She is very attentive and diligent in her work. I really enjoyed the evening, and she was always mindful of our needs. I truly appreciate how Benny, the DJ, performs. He is an outstanding DJ. Thank you both.😊

We visited this gem on a Friday night. They had a live performance by an amazing singing duo. Her name was Elisa. The staff was extremely friendly and really on top of service. The was prepared fresh and so much. It was buenisimo! After DJ Benny kicked off the night Djing. Great set

The food was very delicious and flavorful. I went on a Saturday night and loved the vibe and music. Staff was very nice and helpful. The service was slightly slow but understandable considering it was a busy night. I would recommend getting in early if possible. Will definitely be back soon.

THIS IS NOT THE KOSHER CUBAN PLACE THAT WAS ON THE OPPOSITE CORNER This place is really good and authentic, the mojitos are the best you can get here in central Florida. The ropa vieja is excellent. Sandwiches are really good! Definitely a must try for anyone who likes authentic Cuban food!!

During our comedy brunch, our food was smaller in portion. It is not what you would expect for the price. Besides that, it was very tasty and there was a good variety. The staff is very accommodating and friendly.

We had breakfast here right after 10:45 am Our server was Leo. He was attentive and very nice to us. My kids loved the pancakes 🥞 The coffee was delicious. Overall, they serve authentic Latin/Cuban food.

Went to lunch with my wife and kids. For appetizers we had the chicharones de cerdo. For the entree we had the lunch special of the picanha steak with boiled yucca and maduros. The kids had the pechuga asada with white rice. Good flavor, the only thing was the yucca was a bit cold and the steak was a bit greasy.

We went on Mother’s Day and the food was so good! My entire family had a great experience, the drinks were strong and delicious, the appetizers were fresh and came fairly quickly, the food was so flavorful and great portion sizes. The fact that you can’t tell that it has a night club vibe after 10 PM is shocking; though the DJ booth gives it away once you actually notice it. Regardless it was super well kept inside, definitely will be back! Photo of the fried yucca side (great price for the amount you get) with a garlic crema & the Churrasco with congrí and tostones Would have been 5 stars, but the servers got a few items wrong when they keyed the food into the kitchen - nonetheless they gave us great service and corrected the issues!

The chicken fried rice is so flavorful. This is a Latin restaurant so the chicken fried rice taste like something you could put with fajitas. 10/10 recommend that dish! Got a brownie for dessert and it was not satisfying. The customer service was great and so is the atmosphere. I was told the night time is the best time to go so I’ll go back for that. It is an overall vibe!

The dj plays great music, the place gets packed. There is a $10.00 cover charge; this is a restaurant, I don't understand why they have to charge money to eat here... 🤷‍♀️ The food could be better and the service as well. If you are looking for a place to dance good music, this is a good place.

I recently visited Morenas Latin Bar & Grill for BD dinner, and overall I had a wonderful time! The music was amazing, even though I don’t speak Spanish, I could really feel the energy, and the party vibe was on point. I especially enjoyed the wings, my drink, and the overall atmosphere. There was a little confusion with the cover charge. I couldn’t find information about what time it starts. It would be really helpful if the restaurant could include the cover charge and start time on their website for future guests. Despite that, it didn’t take away from the fun of the night. I would definitely recommend Morenas for anyone looking for great food, lively music, and a fun atmosphere. I had a blast!

Food was so-so; not that great, not that bad. Serving portions are on the small size for the menu prices. A disappointing feature of this restaurant is that they allow patrons to smoke while sitting right by the huge, bar opening that connects the air-conditioned main saloon with the outside dinning area and the very unpleasant cigarette and cigar smell travels inside the indoor area. You can clearly see the smoke floating around the restaurant, making the dinning experience very repulsive for everyone. For this reason alone, not planning on returning.

Disappointing. Husband and I don’t get to eat out very often but decided to treat ourselves today and wow what a waste of hard earned money this meal was. My husband ordered the Picanha steak, mid rare. It came out closer to mid well. I ordered the “Cuban Fajitas”. Tried asking our server what makes them Cuban as opposed to fajitas I might get at a Mexican place, she said, “they’re not as spicy.” Confusing because fajitas aren’t known to be a spicy dish but whatever, I love fajitas everywhere, so assumed this was a safe choice. She must have meant they don’t have any spices at all because these were easily the worst, most bland fajitas I’ve ever had the displeasure of eating. Grievance #1 - most sacrilegious of all, these fajitas did not come out sizzling. In fact they weren’t hot at all. What is even the point of serving fajitas if I can’t hear them coming from across the room?? Grievance #2 - the server brought me this lifeless skillet then asked, “Would you like tortillas with your fajitas?” What? Is it even fajitas without tortillas? I politely said yes and then received corn tortillas, bummer. We never saw our server again after that. She had been very nice up until then but got another table halfway through our meal and we were forgotten I guess. Eventually someone new came to bring the check. She was less friendly. Overall, not great, definitely wouldn’t return.

I'm a little disappointed as I was looking forward to eating here as there's not too many Spanish restaurants around. I had the croquette and I have to say it taste like pure flour served with ceasar salad dressing. My hubby ordered onion rings and as a side sauce they serve you ceasar salad dressing as well. The Cuban sandwich is not a real Cuban because it's served with deli cold cuts and not the real deal like pernil and whole ham. Soup, salad and rice was good.

Normally the food here is very tasteful. Tonight they let me down pretty bad. The MediaNoche was burnt beyond burnt. I had to review this visit.

We stopped in for a drink and to see how the place was. Well... we got a mojitio drink from what appears was the day bartender. The drink was pretty looking and tasted ok. While we were trying to order our second drink, what appears to be the night bartender appears. There seemed to be some kind of an argument between the two. Next thing you know, the management team is pulling the nighttime bartender outside and having words. All seems ok. We reordered our second drink, but not too much going on.7 We were never able to get them so left. Then, I saw that management called police to have a night bartender removed. There is too much drama. Prices were very high for we what you got. Will not be back.

My family and I live in Orlando. We decided to try this restaurant out for my aunts birthday. This was the worse dining experience of my life. We arrive and there are four other people there so it was slow. We order drinks that take forever to come and I ordered a water. The drinks finally come and the waiter forgets four other drinks, so we waited over 20 minutes for the other drinks. I ordered an appetizer, we don’t receive any small dishes or utensils so I had to ask another waiter to grab some for me. We order dinner and the female servers have an attitude. They’re asking one person at the end of the table ALLL the questions and not addressing the table to serve everyone’s food accordingly. I receive my food, I order the picanaha steak. I receive a steak that is 80% fat and the “yellow rice” is hard. The picture of the appetizer shows four plantains and I received three that look nothing like the picture and it costs $16! The prices are outrageous this was not a fine dining restaurant but the prices were. Our waiter did not come to the table to refill drinks, clear off the table, communicate with us at all. He was gone 20-30 minutes at a time. The other servers were huddled up at the condiments counter doing nothing. The alcoholic drinks tasted horrible. The liquor was cheap and the taste was horrible. The next morning I was physically sick from the food. This restaurant is poor in customer serve and is not worth what we spent. I spoke to the manager who was wearing a tight gold metallic shirt about my experience. He tells me that every rest charges automatic gratuity for a party. I told him that other restaurants managers hold their service accountable when a paying customer is not satisfied. He removed the gratuity instead of taking the food completely off the bill especially my aunts since it was her birthday and she had a horrible experience. His customer service and assistance was horrible. I would never recommend eating here and I would never come back again.

I'm an Uber driver. I walked in expecting to be greeted just like any other restaurant.. especially considering the fact that it was not busy. Two of the host looked me dead in my eye and walked away while I signaled them that I needed assistance. There was only one customer ahead of me when I walked in. They gave him his food, looked at me, and no acknowledgement😑 After 10minutes, I noticed both of the host were at the table/bar area speaking with another employee. That's when I decided to tell them I had a order I was picking up. Of course, they were shocked since they noticed I was waiting that whole time. I don't know if they lack customer service skills or if they were doing that on purpose...I created this review to have your employees not slack around and make sure to pay attention and greet their customers or drivers entering. At the customer's sake, she received her food late because of unnecessary poor customer service skills. You guys seriously need to do better...

They start chatting and still the hostess has not acknowledged my presence. The owner walks in about 5 min later and also ignores me. He starts talking to the woman while the hostess runs ti get the woman;'s order. When the hostess comes back, the owner says goodbye to the woman and leaves still without asking me to wait or anything. Hostess helps the woman and when the woman walks away, so does the hostess and I say " can you help me' to the back of her head. She starts working on other jobs - she grabbed a box of napkins and starts splitting them up - sees me still standing there and huffs as if annoyed and looks around and sees a plate by the pick up window- where my food has been sitting for over 15 min now and gets the food and gives it to a couple at one pot the tables. Then she disappeared in the back and did not come back out. Eventually the waiter for the restaurant walks over and asks if I need something. I state I am here for an order pickup that was supposed to be ready 25 min ago. He goes to find it- sees the bag on the counter and comes back stating they can't find my order but will make it up now. Fifteen more minutes pass and I get my food. No-one said thank you for visiting or sorry for the lateness- nothing. I will also note that in that additional wait time the owner and hostess looked over my way and still never acknowledged me. I should have taken the hint as money lost because the food was garbage. The portions were small but doesn't matter because it was very bad. It had no taste (other than oil) and was barely edible. I should have not picked it up for what I did eat. How can any half decent place mess up rice, peril, plantains and beans??

Will make sure I recommend absolutely no one to eat there unless you want to spend all morning and afternoon sitting with music blasting in your ears then can’t eat because your order is wrong.

Our meals finally arrived one meal was supposed to have no onions and they couldn’t even get the one request right after 2 hours of waiting the meal had onions all over it. The poor waitress was very nice and couldn’t believe they couldn’t even get the order right after sitting there all day. The whole time there’s a bald guy sitting in the side that she said is supposed to be a manager. When we asked for him to come over he can’t even get up off his seat. What kind of manager can’t even get up to apologize to his customers. I see how he likes to his job just to get paid and sit there all day. I work at a big time business in the area. Will make sure I recommend absolutely no one to eat there unless you want to spend all morning and afternoon sitting with music blasting in your ears then can’t eat because your order is wrong.
