I drove from Louisville Kentucky to revisit my hometown and had to stop at my childhood favorite sub shop..Love the service and the people was so nice..I first visited this place in 1984 and it's still there..whenever I'm in my home state I will always visit..my daughter said this is her favorite place to eat now..places like this holds a special spot in my heart and to experience this with my daughter was so beautiful and I and her will never forget this..

Only giving 2 stars for the food. Ordered shrimp po boy and got a mix of popcorn and butter fly. The frozen shrimp probably seapack brand seemed like it was fried in old oil. My boy had the wings they was on point. Will try something else next time.

How do they ever go out of business? Staff is always great, and the food is perfection. Definitely recommend checking them out, especially that steamed (go ahead and try it) steak and cheese. Almost heaven!

Sobik's subs are amazing! Not dry very flavorful. Here I have a 7" Cuban sandwich cut up into three with fries.

This place was recommended to me by a family member. The steak & cheese sub reminded him of a sub shop visited during childhood. The positives are the restaurant was convenient, clean, we were greeted upon entering, no waiting, no other patrons, the sub was fresh and had a good flavor. The negatives is how skimpy it was for the price. Two 8" subs $23.00... I could have done better at Publix with two loaded 12", still have 1/2 of each for leftovers and paid less. The top sub pic is from the childhood memories of Chico's Sub Shop and the bottom pic is Sobik's Subs. No comparison!

2 stars because the service was good and we did not get sick from the food. My friend got the steak and cheese sandwich with mushrooms and onions which he said flavorless and soggy. I got the 8 piece wings. I ordered the hot Buffalo and hot teriyaki. The hot teriyaki was tasty but there was not enough sauce on them. The Buffalo wings looked like someone just showed them the sauce they should be in but never put them In the sauce. What little flavor and taste I managed to discern was not all that good and definitely not hot. Definitely DO NOT get the wings! Frozen Buffalo wings from the store have more flavor.

Look and listen. I went there to get a double cheeseburger and onion rings. I got to the register and the total was $28 !!!! A double cheeseburger and onion rings and a bottle of Pepsi!!!! They charged me $4 for the second burger !!! NEVER AGAIN! What a rip off ! And for some reason he put the bread in a toaster for some reason! The bread just crumbled and was hard ! Very disappointed and will never go there again! McDonald's here I come !

Chicken steak so dry and unseasoned it brought back memories of the first turkey I overcooked, 10 min to make 1 sub. Overpriced for what I got.

Food was awful. Cheesesteak had no taste, Italian sausage wasn't in cooker, she took it out of the refrigerator and microwaved it. It was so dry. The bread crumbled. Worse ever. This place has gone down hill. Think new owners. Recommend not to go!!

I ordered a Catfish dinner and supposedly 6jumbp shrimp and the shrimp was flat ironed and with a cocktail shrimp in the breading the Catfish was cooked in old grease . I also ordered a turkey sub with only lettuce tomato and onion I was given a full sub with all the toppings that tasted like a veggie sub .I also ordered spaghetti meatballs that came in a small bowl the meatballs were from the Walmart and were Swedish from the frozen section. 2 sodas and was over priced 60 bucks never going back...
