Tortilleria La Mexicana

I have been trying to find the best place to eat some real authentic Mexican food and this is by far the best place I've encountered! I highly recommend to go here! Everyone was so nice and accommodating.

The food is super yummy!!! The ladies that work there are super sweet. They recognize my husband and I when we stop by for authentic Mexican food. The music is sometimes loud, but it's okay. People are just having a good time eating. My favorite is the stuff peppers 🌶 😋

Don't this small "hole in the wall" fool you. For what we had, bistek Ranchero, birria tacos, and caldo de res... all 3 were bussin* , good authentic taste , service was good, place is humble, relaxed , not upper class feel. But, again, the food and service were great! We will add this to our next stop. Oh the fresh cucumber lime drinks were good too!

Great tacos and a variety of drinks and desserts. The manager of all theses restaurants is a great manager. He does a good job. It can get crowded at times but I find it to be a good sign. When restaurants are really busy It only means the food is good.

Overall not the worst place I’ve been to but also definitely not the best. Service was fine, our server was not unkind nor did we feel we weren’t attended. Very standard, greet the table, ask for food and occasional check in, nothing above or beyond to note. As for food the rice was dry but the beans were good. The sope was the best item we ate out of the items we got but that was after we added salsa and salt. Food lacked flavor for what is typical with Mexican Food. In short this is not like the worst mexican food we’ve ever had there’s definitely actual offensive places in the greater orlando area. They’re also pretty cheap compared to other places so you are kind of getting what you payed for. The knowledge of how to make it is there nada mas que no tienen mano.

The food is amazing, but the service from some of the waiters is horrible. They are very rude. When you ask questions about the items on the menu, they answer like if you’re stupid. When I ordered a burrito She asked me what meat I want in it. So I asked what options they had and she responded with a tongue pop and saying the same ones we always have. When you sit inside the restaurant, there’s barely any space to move around. If they were kinder and had more space to move around when you’re dining in, I will definitely be visiting this place more.

Their food is not delicious it tastes like it has been prepared for weeks. It tasted really dry And it was quite pricy. Won’t be going back to eat but I do like their sweet bread if you go right after they open you can ask to choose from the warm bread in the back. I definitely love their aguas frescas and ice cream the best I’ve ever had!

The food there is very good. I went in and placed a to go order with my son and the lady taking my order seemed annoyed with me. She was pleasant to everyone else. We had to wait for our food which is understandable. There were several to go order that were brought up front. After waiting 30 minutes She gestured that our food was ready and she forgot we were there. They also forgot to give us the 1 1/2 pounds of pork I ordered. I will go back because I like there food and the other staff were nice!

Eggs were not cooked per order, we asked for easy and they were hard. Finally, we were overcharged as they included a service fee so our tip reflected that, and they charged us $4 more than our total. We didn't keep the receipt so we couldn't dispute it. Would want to check back on reviews in a couple of months to see if things have improved.

Stale chips , food was not what it should be. An to top it off lady had an attitude while taking my order. It's not my fault she works here. Sweet bread was good tho.

Tried to put an order in but then stopped because i had no idea what its going to cost. Like half the menu has prices. Theres always another mexican place tho

Their driver paid no attention and genuinely almost hit me had to slam on my brakes with my child in the car and then looked like He laughed at it. Please train your drivers or hire someone more competent!

This supposedly “elva” (the coworker was thinking a LOT when she was telling us her name) was taking money from us then with the same glove grabbed the tortillas to weigh them. when we told “elva” she got new gloves then did the motion of licking it. we were behind her so i couldn’t see if it was real or not but after elva weighed them and packaged it we told her we didnt want it she said we “wasted her time” meanwhile shes on the clock? also when we gave her a 20 to pay for other stuff she gave us 1$ back (total was $9) then closed the register, WE had to tell her ourselves about it then she took actually forever to count 10 bucks (and it wasn’t even all ones it was $5 and 5 $1 it shouldn’t have taken that long that was just petty) then after we asked for her name from her coworker (those details are stated in the beginning of this review). She also said to call the owner and gave us a card. Main purpose of this review is to get in contact with the owner (also warn people from her uncleanliness which can and will get people sick because money is dirty and with all the viruses going around? that act of licking it was disgusting and VERY disrespectful. who does that?!) I will keep calling the owner and trying to get in contact with them they need to be held responsible also with the law *Florida Statute 540.08* i cant show the picture of her i have of her here but i will keep posting about this situation untill something gets done about it (i used the name because i HIGHLY doubt thats her real name) Alex please get in contact with me asap. i left a voicemail and will contact again and even go back to the store every sundays to see if i find him and could have a 1 on 1 with him.
