This place was very cute and the staff was welcoming. We got pie here twice during our stay in Trinidad. We had the apple, cherry, chocolate silk and lemon raspberry. The second time, we tried the banana and the peanut butter fudge. All were VERY good.

I’m from Denver, allergic to gluten, and married to a hillbilly from Arkansas who has a highly tuned pallet for fine pie, and we found A Slice of Humboldt Pie to be an amazing treat. The gluten free pot pie, hand pies, and peach/blueberry crumble were the best gluten free treat I’ve had in CA. My Hillbilly sweetheart simply said this about the pot pie and apple pie, “I have no words… I’ve never tasted crust that tasted like my grandma’s till today…”

This was my third time here and having tried several of the pot pies and dessert pies I can confidently say this place has some of the best food in town my personal favorite is the lemon raspberry pie as the flavors blend wonderfully and the raspberry seeds add that extra bit you didn't know you needed

Wow...a great find as we motorcycled through the area. We enjoyed a great mid-morning snack with hot tea. The menu was very impressive. Staff members were helpful. We'll be back the next time we're passin' thru!

This is not to be missed. We ordered the pulled pork and green chili, veggie pot pie and coconut cream pie. All three were really delicious! Highly recommend.

Delicious pies, I got the Peach & Blueberry crumble. The atmosphere is very relaxing and nice, and service is super quick! Highly recommend, even if you don’t think you’re much of a pie person.

Such a gem and I don’t even like pie! Stopped in driving down the coast and immediately regretted buying coffee at another place in town. This spot has the best selection of pie, dessert and savory, I’ve ever seen. We got the French silk and peanut butter fudge, both EPIC and really perfect portions. Guys behind counter was awesome and service was fast. Hope we get to come back!

Pie = good. Inconsistent service and rising prices = not so good. This place is pretty tasty, 100% worth the stop, but I wish staff would be more efficient. There are times when I've had to wait for 20+ minutes for a few items to go.

We ordered 4 pie slices each with ice cream via delivery. I wish I had asked all the ice cream to be together in its own thing. I was more than happy with the amount of ice cream. The peanut butter fudge pie was amazing! Its had to bring myself to pay this amount on pie otherwise all 5 stars. I liked how I received texts updating me and I was able to click in to select exactly where my home location is on the map (GPS are always wrong).

Hand pies and the lemon raspberry pie were great! However, the Caesar salads that we got to go were much smaller than we anticipated for how expensive they were. Pretty much a side salad size for $10 each.

I really like Slice of Humboldt Pie, and I hear they're moving to where the old Arcade bar was (Arcade-ah lol), on the corner of 6th at K by eco groovy deals. So I'm excited to see their new location, because they really have the pie thing down! My friend wasn't impressed by the chocolate silk, but my other two friends swear by it. I personally wasn't a fan, but the peanut butter chess pie was good enough to eat twice in a row, and the lemon-raspberry was the perfect amount of tart for me 😋😋😋

Individual pot pies are excellent. I often buy frozen; they bake up perfectly. Sweet pies are mixed; chocolate silk is sublime. Strawberry rhubarb was very disappointing. Service needs to be greatly improved. Counter staff are sweet, but management personnel are completely inadequate. I was not given one item in my order and when I called to have credit for payment applied to my credit card I was given total run-around. Only possible if I email manager, and email address given me was “undeliverable.” Called another day, “have to leave a message” for someone. No one returned call. Second time this has happened. I forgave the first. Pity that lack of customer service and courtesy affects buying their pies.

Best was the guava cider,(wish it had more of a guava taste). Everything else was ok. Nice family atmosphere.

I placed an order for a pie on-line, to be picked up on January 3rd, for an event that day. I received a text confirmation of my order, including the pick-up date of January 3rd. When I arrived at the shop on the morning of January 3rd they were closed, with a sign that said they were re-opening on January 6th. On the text confirming my order there was a phone number to call with any concerns. I called that number and left a voicemail saying I was at the shop to pick up my order and they were closed. An hour later I got an email from Slice of Humboldt Pie asking "How did we do?". I responded to that email also, saying I could not pick up my order because they were closed. It's now January 17th and Slice of Humboldt Pie never bothered to respond to me. No apology for apparently having an on-line system that was automated and taking pie orders when they were not there to make pies, and no customer service, even when they returned from their holiday break.
