Non scrivo molte recensioni a meno che meritano. In 8 amici cercavano qualcosa di particolare dove fare uno spuntino e bere bene, a100 mt dopo il centro di Argegno in un posto tranquillo ecco il bistro' Argegno. Insomna vini eccezionali assaggi di salumi e formaggi di qualità dove Andrea con la sua sapienza ci ha spiegato la provenienza, Mirella la compagna di una simpatia innata. Complimenti continuate così👏👏

Un locale modesto ma pieno di sorprese. Siamo stati serviti con deliziosi affettati e formaggi locali, dell'ottimo vino e un oste cortese e simpatico. Che dire, sono pochi i locali che continuano l' attività senza modificare le radici locali pur di vendersi al turismo di massa. Great job!

Locale caratteristico,rustico ma accogliente,personale gentile e competente I prodotti proposti x gli aperitivi sono locali,abbondanti e strabuoni,nota più che positiva inoltre sono i prezzi..un aperitivo in 2 pensavo di spendere quasi il doppio con quello che abbiamo consumato..sicuramente tappa obbligata se si è in zona

ottima scelta, location intima grande scelta di vini e specialita locali difficili da trovare in zona.. bravi

What a find! I went here on a sad rainy day where lots of things were closed.. I wanted to get something warm so I chose lasagna with ragu (beef fyi) as the very nice lady recommended.. so nice and lovely, I finished it so fast almost burning my mouth!! Anyway i was still curious about the lasagna with pesto so I ordered one, too! Can’t decide which one was better, both were so good! I think it would come down to your preference; want to eat meat (beef), then take ragu, want something vegetarian, then take pesto! This small place’s ambiance and atmosphere were other worldly! Perfect for such weather! I didn’t want to go away! PS. it’s also bottega for wines and local products.. even some Como 1907 merchs!

SO good! The ricotta and spinach pasta was amazing, as was the frico. We also had the tiramisu and salted caramel cheesecake and both were so delicious. This might be our favorite restaurant out of all the ones we’ve been to on a 7-day trip in Milan and Como!

Easily my favorite spot in Argegno. Have spent time here two years in a row now and so looked forward to going back to Bistro Argegno this year. The food and wine are always excellent, service is warm and friendly. Prices are more than reasonable (coming from the US). The staff has great suggestions for the rest of Lake Como and are very personable. The location is just outside the piazza and very peaceful. Whenever you’re in Argegno, make sure to stop by!

Had a beautiful lunch here with my Grandma and Dad during the summer. We sat outside and enjoyed the local Italian going ons around us. The food was exceptional and the hosts treated us like family. I highly recommended stopping here for a meal!

Very welcoming and friendly owners. Love the lasagna. Tried some local cheese and cold cuts too. Ordered a glass of wine and was introduced to local grape, Marzemino -fruity and easy to drink. Before leaving, the lady owner gave me amaretto cookie. It’s yummy. Thank you!

We had a quick aperitivo and dinner here and were not disappointed. A spot where you could eat and drink local ingredients and products. Though the dinner menu was limited (it is a bistro not a restaurant), whatever we ordered tasted great. The seatings spots are limited, so if you plan to come on a peak season, better to call and ask for a table or/and availability. The owners were friendly and knowledgeable in the things they sold. A dog friendly spot too.

Definitely 5 stars! The hosts are really great! The shop has a good selection of gourmet foods and it's best to buy from here rather than a supermarket if you want to really taste Italy. The wine cellar is full of amazing wines and the owner knows exactly what to recommend. We really liked it here and hope to come back one day. The prices are more than fair and they let you taste some of the gourmet products before you buy.

After an initial uncertainty about what to order we put ourselves in the hands of the owners and they delivered an amazing spread of local produce and wine to our family of 6 (obviously the kids didn't have the wine!) The cheeses and meats and other tasty treats were from local areas and butchers and the wine was local too. After that we had a couple of pesto lasagnes to share and they were just amazing. The pasta was silky smooth and seasoned perfectly. The owners were friendly and relaxed and we appreciated their help and will certainly be going back during our short stay here. The restaurant is a little hidden, back from the main set of restaurants but it is so worth seeking out. The decor tells a story of its own about the area of Argegno and the music was perfect for the location. The dining room is small and intimate, what a find! We went back a few days later for our final meal in Italy and had another amazing meal here. This time we also tried the beef lasagne and desserts which continued the amazing foods. Silky pasta and beautiful ragu. Delicious desserts. To the owners, thank you so much we very much appreciated your warmth and hospitality, we hope to come back one day.

It was a great relief to find a place to eat before 7pm when all the other restaurants usually open. The cheese and honey they serve are just amazing! I was a bit confused to have a veggie soup when I ordered ‘vegetables in cream’ and lasagna seemed over cooked but overall it was a very nice experience, and good wines.

Hidden in a quiet passage away from the main plaza, this bistro is a wonderful find. This was our first stop while visiting Lake Como and we enjoyed our relaxed lunch. We managed to find a table outside but the inside looked quaint as well. The service was very attentive. Our food was delicious as well and freshly prepared. They also do wine tastings and pairings and have a lot of local products for sale. If you are in the area, make sure you stop by.

Do not judge a book by its cover ... a real hidden gem. Simple food cooked well with a great wine, cheese, and meat selection. Perfect for a wine + snack or a full meal! Menu is very small so probably best for people who are not expecting 20 pages of mains!
