I just left here and got the most amazing service and food from 2 cuties working the front, Isabella and Rendell!! Highly recommend this location. Everything was super fresh and I absolutely love the new honey glazed butter biscuits!! Most definitely will visit more often. Thank you Isabella and Rendell!!!
Churches chicken has the most crispy flavor able ever. My son is a Huge fan of the place.

Simply loved the chicken and the sides they served. And the quantity was more than adequate, to say the least. In fact, it was so much that we had to bring some back home to eat later. To be frank, the chicken left a lingering taste in my mouth.

I really like going here in Tuesdays when they have the 2 pc dark box for $2. You can chose either spicy or mild, sometimes I even add a jalapeno for that extra spiciness. My chicken seems to be always fresh and hot, I love it!
Elizabeth is the kind of Manager you need to have running your business. Miss communication on my part with my order. But Elizabeth still took care of me. It’s people like her that represents good customer service. Trust I been a manger for 6 years in retail and I know great customer service when I see it! Thank you Elizabeth and her crew!!

The spicy chicken there is seasond right, and always taste fresh (the grease is not old).
My order was completely incorrect so I had to go back upon leaving the parking lot, which was inconvenient. However, I appreciate that they replaced my food with what I ordered.

The fried chicken is always good. There was no regular fried chicken available at the time, and we had to wait almost 20 minutes. This is noon on Mother's day. They weren't that busy at the time. They had only cooked a batch of spicy chicken, but we had members in our party that don't care for spicy. A little more organization on cooking would go a long way.
I used to go to this location when I lived here some years ago. The chicken was a little dry , but edible. The cashier at the drive-thru hinted that I should buy more than a 3 piece by saying "That's all for you Miss?" after my order was filled. I can tell they want to stay employed, but you have to make me want to come back.
I don't understand why they don't fill the cup with ice when you order tea knowing it's gonna melt
Everything was hot. Ordered 2 pc spicy white meal. What happened to the crazy wing🤦🏽♀️. Chicken was extra crispy with spicy seasoning on top 🤦🏽♀️. Mashed potatoes containing a slither of gravy. This meal cost $10. Come on guys. Do better! I love churches chicken. I’ve been eating churches for over 40 years. Get it together!
So disappointed. I went and spent $15. I asked for regular chicken they gave me spicy that looked older than me.... I live to far to go back..... I should have went to chicken express.
I love Church's Chicken, but they have finally priced above what I am willing to pay. I ordered an 8 pc dark and was told it would be $19.00, I will not pay $2.00 per pc of Chicken, sadly that means like so many other places they are no longer worth the money.
I requested 2 pieces white with no soft drink. Something told me to check before I drove off. We'll, it was a 2 piece dark. So,l went in, and they gave the person ahead of me my meal. So, after waiting 15 minutes they gave me my meal, guess what? They did give me my biscuit! Prices are rising, and the customer service is seriously declining! AI is coming, and employees have no one to blame, but THEMSELVES!
It's a small store and only have 2 people at the cashier and giving out the orders and I believe they have 1 or maybe 2 other people working in the kitchen. The first time i came it wasn't through the drive through, the wait was soooo long....and I don't mean the wait to get my food, the wait to take my order! The second time I went through the drive through. The wait was slightly less but still very very very slow. I don't blame the workers that were slow but the manager or owner, they should add at least one more person to help the busy place!
Chicken isn't the same as before. Never consistent and often bland. Not sure if it is under new ownership or not. And everytime I give the cole slaw a try, it is old and about to spoil. They should consider dating the top of the coleslaw lids so they know how old it is. I will stick to Popeye's or Lisa's chicken, least its more consistent and has flavor. Used to be big fan and now I am not. Prices aren't bad if you are looking to feed a group without breaking the bank. But wish they had better quality control. Least the biscuits are still delicious!
I love Churches, there is no lie there. This Churches on the other hand is not working. The ladies who work there have bad customer service skills. They are rude and act like they hate their jobs with a passion. I have gone here multiple times because it’s closer to me and convenient, but now I do not want to go back. The chicken is very bad. It isn’t even chicken, it is just breading with a sliver of meat. Sad. They got my order wrong then tried to fix it and still got it wrong. They do not care. I never write reviews unless I really think a place is gross. Do better.
Attitude out of this world. Manager on-site acts as if she doesn’t want to be there and you are bothering her. I want what was paid for nothing extra. If you miss an item at no point should you have an attitude when I ask for it.
Church's chicken changed their recipe, so 1/2 is gone, but with more crunch. The cashier in training was very courteous, the supervisor/ trainer was the opposite. Very rude, discourteous to the cashier as well as me.
Ordered 8 peace dark spicy advertise in store $18.99 , comes with 4 jalapeño cheese biscuits, 4 jalapeños, one large side and two special sauce. Which was ketchup and hot sauce. Looked at receipt in car , I noticed I didn't get the peppers and the biscuits were honey. The large side was mashed potatoes that wasn't asked for. Would rather have a different side, or at least choose my own. . Turns out I was charged $25,99 Instead of the advertised price I pointed to when ordering. Total bill was $28.13 quality of food and service not worth the money. NEVER AGAIN .
Awesome flavor of chicken! Need better customer services! I'm not so sure if these employees know and understand what that means! Why put someone else's order on the counter after the customer waited several minutes and not make sure he gets it? However, instead, it was picked up by another customer and taken to their car. When the other customer realized what happened, he explained it to the employee and what he was told that's your order. Go and get it back! It was the responsibility of the manager (female) to ensure the process was done correctly. Why blame the customer? Also, why would you lock several customers inside of the restaurant before 8 pm on a Saturday and dare them to open the door while waiting 15 to 30 minutes or more before their order is done! Unacceptable safety practices. Unacceptable behavior!
The order was made fast. However, when I ordered the 10 left and thigh special for $12.99, I only got 9 pieces. Fries were cold.
I spent over $13 dollars for 3 pieces of chicken, one biscuit, and a large side item. I ask for one serving of barbecue sauce and I was told it cost .50 cents....are you kidding?!!? I just spent $13 dollars and you can't spot me some barbecue sauce?!?!?! Bye Church's, keep your barbecue sauce and your chicken!
As a business owner and experienced food manger in the hospitality industry. From what I saw tonight and after reading the reviews, this establishment on Collins in Arlington, TX needs to be shut down IMMEDIATELY! My family and I went inside the dinning area and placed our orders. For 20 minutes we waited as customers were recieving their orders in the drive thru. After observing the cook mishandling the raw chicken, the filth on the floor and staff in the back wondering around, My husband asked for a refund. The manager was extremely rude and she said would call the cops if we didn't leave. Its obvious that she had a problem with our skin color. I wonder how many of them have food handlers license and customer service training?🤔
Manager said they don’t make fresh food you have to take it how it comes. So they refused to allow me to place an order. There is much better service at other locations.
Had to wait to long in the drive thru before I got my order taken, and the teen taking my order gave an actitud when she asked my to wait an other minute and I told her that she said the same thing 10 mins ago. Also they are missing quite a few items from the menu. I thinking if places don't have certain stuff mark it in the menu outside, we wait long enough for food and still go home unsatisfied because end up ordering something completely different and didn't wanted.
They gave me some all day left on the burner chicken it was bland I asked for some fresh chicken that just came up and was denied she gave me what she wanted me to have dissatisfied I was never again and I do not recommend because the lady did not like the color of black at all no smiles when I appeared it was all dull when I greeted
My chicken sandwich was burnt. Took us 25 minutes to get our food. I asked for cheese on my sandwich which wasn't on it. Store was very dirty and nasty. Do not eat at this restaurant!
Went to the church's on Collins ordered a large freshly cooked okra. The mgr on duty had me to wait. And still gave me cold okra. Another occasion same order the person on the front counter mixed old okra and freshly cooked okra together. I was mad. I had them to refund my money. I HAVE worked in customer service before but I have never treated my customer like this. Even the mgr. Has a jacked up attitude when requesting a special order.. I could go on and on. With how this church's have poor customer service..
The most absolute Filthy attitude staff please replace every single one of them the food order was wrong and cold very sloppy service absolutely disgusted i hope somebody comes an inspects this place and retrains everyone gross gross gross gross gross just wow I wouldn’t be surprise if you got people sick
First of all I stood at the counter over ten minutes before an employee acknowledges me to take my order. Second I didn't get what I originally wanted which was the fish sandwich because they said they were out, so I opted for a five piece tender combo with mac and cheese and a coke. The tenders were over cooked as well as the mac & cheese, and the coke was very flat watered down. I will never eat at Church's chicken again especially not at that same location.
Ordered a special and a 3 piece. My special came with an Apple pie, pepper and creamy jalapeno. While ordering I asked for my condiments. Hot sauce, ketchup, and jalapeno sauce. While at the window I notice no condiments. Asked for hot sauce and ketchup assuming the sauce was in the box. The lady gave me 2 of each. Start driving. No Apple pie, no jalapeno and no sauce. Then the lady was rude when I asked for a refund.
This establishment needs to be revamped. They need to fire everyone and start over. For starters why do you have a phone if your not going to answer it? We called more than 5 times with no answer. That goes to show that the store manager isn't doing thier job either because if they called they wouldn't have got through either. Secondly and most importantly where's the customer service? I could have sworn the customer was always right. The store manager proceeded to argue with us that there was biscuits with our order when there wasn't. We ordered a 9 pieced mixed and only got 3 pieces of white meat. It's an upgrade and cost more to get mixed and only a third was mixed. Not only was the manager rude and had an attitude she never attempted to fix the situation or fix our order. Her excuse was she doesn't work at this location and she's just filling in like we're supposed to be OK with that reasoning. It's a huge inconvenience when you get all the way home and your order is wrong, your family is hungry and you've lost money. Needless to say I will never do business with them even if they get it right and yes were calling corporate. The customer service at this location is unacceptable!
I paid and extra 30 cent to get mac and cheese instead of french fries with my order of chicken tenders and shrimp meal. When I open the box there was fries any way. I took it back in and asked for the lady who rang my order up to show her my ticket and let her know that they still have me fries. The lady told the older guy to give me the mac and cheese and he said Well she need to give me the fries back and I took the fries out to give them to him when the lady said No we can't take them back.He then said yes I can throw it away.They were so rude in front of other customers and I did pay the extra to get what I want.I was not happy about how I was treated.
Manager had fresh scabs on his arm like he's been on some ice(drugs). Really if he was aware of his behavior i wouldn't have noticed but honestly it adds up. Even the customer after pointed out his use and the manager kicked him out like he didn't want to at least cover up his scabbs. Maybe call the police or investigate this behavior because what if he retailiates with poison from his own body
After we got our food,When she went to give me my changeAnd it all fell on the ground.Then she shut the window and walked off. When i got home , she gave me spicy chicken instead of regular. And didn't even give me the okra i ordered. One of the gravys was 1/2 empty and it had a hair in it. My drinks were sweet tea instead of cokes. I will never go to churches again. I thought its been a while so we would try. Big mistake.
The place had no A.C, no paper towels or ice for the soda fountain and the Spanish manager needed to relax and should act professionalism even with his employees to what he said around the customer who is waiting for the food. He complains about the way customer ordering their food, telling his employer not to take special order from a customer which didn't make no sense, he meant by ordering food what is only on the menu board so it can make it easier for him...what if a customer don't like any sauce on their chicken sandwich? Then about the store that there were no A.C. that was bothering him but was not aware that I understood Spanish. I was the 3rd person waiting for my food about 20 mins listening to his frustration conversation. I know it was a busy time and it only fans that they were using but doesn't need to show his frustration and speaking in mixing Spanish adding English with offensive words thinking that people don't understanding him. It was more intimidation how he spoke to his young employees. I felt bad for the kid that I wanna tip for working so hard in a place with broken A.C.
Arrived at 9:15pm and the doors were locked with people still eating inside. The people in the kitchen area, said " we are closed". I told them from the other side of the window, that they close at 10pm. An older lady then comes to the front door and let's me in. I order my food, 2 #1s with jalapeño bombers and 2 jalapeños for $24 and they pack it to go and forget my 2 jalapeños. I dine in near the restroom and at 9:39pm, somebody dumps mop water right out the door next to me and splashes me with whatever mixture was in there. I must also mention the use of vulgar language while eating, and hearing all the workers occasionally curse and laugh. Is this why most church's chickens are disappearing? The area is not dangerous, so no need to shut the doors at 9pm.
Let’s start here, there’s no store number located on the ticket so you cant scan to do a review. Next, church’s is not good old and cold. Then, you take your food back to this location, the supposedly manager gives you cold food and hard food, once you bring it back, he has the audacity to say this is not a cook as you go place and we’ve been slow the last hour so I’ll just refund you, when all I wanted was my food freshly cooked, atleast hot and edible. Then turn around and say they aren’t cooking anymore at the moment at 6 o’clock. I asked for his name because the receipt says Veronica, so he gives me the wrong name. He’s definitely one of the managers there, the one with the gigantic wart on his forehead, that’s him, he’s very rude and I wish I could give ZERO stars because that what they deserve and NEW MANAGEMENT plus crew.
This Church's Chicken has to be the worst one around. Here is why! 1 I work nights and sometimes I like to pick up a meal so I can have it for over night. I've been there at 7pm several times and they say there out of chicken breasts.. And they won't have anymore for the night. NOTE: They are open till 10pm. I've been there several times early in the evening and they said they were out of chicken. Tell me what are they going to do till 10pm with no main course to serve. The reason I'm doing this review right now is because tonight when I went there there was cars all the way around the place when I passed by the window I can see there's plenty of chicken up on the Shelf and after waiting 15 minutes in line I find out that the two cars in front of me were told they didn't have no chicken and I was told they didn't have no chicken they said all they had was french fries and okra as many employees came to the window and seen all the cars wrapped around the building and none of them could come outside and tell us that we're waiting in line for nothing. The only thing good that came out of this is I discovered there's a Lisa's Chicken down the street they're open till 11:00 and they actually have chicken and plenty of it. Thank you Church's Chicken for letting me discover Lisa's Chicken. A Real Chicken Place!
Use to go to this place often, ordered for company events mostly. I would have an occasional mess up but no real big deal, they were always so nice. Tonight changed it 4 me. The window speaker was muffled so that made it a lil hard, but we got passed that in thought. Got to the window to pay and repeated my order making sure it was done right. Nope not right. Ok so rolling there eyes the manager grabs the bag n says it's legs and thighs. I replied no sorry i paid for mixed, I requested NO thighs. So she rolls her eyes and fixes it. So i pull to side inspect order, missing biscuits. So I go back in, they tell me the family meal i ordered don't come with biscuits. So I buy them. Mexican lady at counter had the worst attitude I've ever experienced. I asked her why is it so hard 4 people to just be neutral n not so rude n hateful. She snapped, we fixed your order. I asked if this was her 15,000 investment she spent to buy this franchise. She shook her head no. I Saud I don't understand why your so angry n upset like I did something wrong. As I walked put she said I think b you have a problem. I turned around and asked her if she said I had a problem, she said yea I stopped her n said actually I have a problem now with you, your rudeness is disgusting, and as your manager stands there n justifies it by acting the sane way is even more disgusting. I really should have just got my 40 dollars back. I got back to my destination with old heated lamp food. Had to go back out n repurchase more food that was fresh n not stale. I won't be back to this location. Really sad how hiring the wrong people can affect your business. It's not they're invested money so they don't care how they treat people.
Every blue moon I get an urge for Churches chicken. I went through the drive Thur service was slow my chicken was cold and disgusting. Busicut was solid as a rock. The fries were the only thing good. Very disappointing experience not to mention their prices have gone up ridiculously. I will not be returning.
I love the food, however, I'm disappointed that they are not honoring their side substitutions, on request. I ordered the Texas Grande Meal, and they wanted to charge me $2 extra for each additional side, cuz their computer wouldn't let them substitute the Mac n cheese and coleslaw, for mashed potatoes. So I ended up giving the extra sides, that we don't eat, to the lady behind us, because I didn't want them to just go to waste. This has happened more than once, or twice, that's why I gave a 1 star rating!! Fix this problem, n I'll bump it up to a 5 star rating!! Update 2-13-23 I'm still disappointed, my husband ordered the Grande meal again, n, asked for original only, n we got spicy and original. He also ordered 8 tenders, original only, n they gave us spicy and iriginal. I cannot eat soicy stuff, thats y he asked fir oruginal on both items, well never go back to this location!!The honey butter biscuits are dry n have no honey on them at all!! The manager looked confused when he gave my husband his change.
Horrible customer service tried to give me the wrong order very racist also My brother-in-law asked about a job because they have a sign saying always hiring on window They basically ignored him then the cashier guy lied about my ordered I asked for tenders he said I asked for chicken he kept getting other people food wrong too it seems like the employees are relatives or are very close with the manager he takes there word over customers even when he witness the cashier was lying all they have working There are Hispanic people and all they want working there is Hispanic people The manager treated me rudely said lady here, goes your food, and I took my food and walked out but before I left he tried to charge me again because the cashier guy pretended I didn’t pay for my food but I had my receipt and he was upset that I had proof because he tried to lie then I asked for a refund they didn’t want to provide one pretended not to hear me I asked for the corporate number they didn’t provide thats either not sure if this is a franchise but all colored or non spanish people be aware do not come here they discriminates
Omg I’ve always loved churches growing up in Arkansas so I was so sad that the one time I go in Texas the chicken was dry and tasted old man I was so disappointed. Probably won’t be going back BUT the people are so nice. They were probably just doing what they were told
People here do not know how to tell time. Everywhere states they close at 10pm dining room and it is 9pm and they are closed. They don't have the decency to let drive thru cars know that they decided to close early and manager refused disclose business hours.
I ordered drive thru 2 piece spicy with mashed potatoes and I also order spicy tenders but was told at the window they were out tried to tell cashier what I wanted but he constantly walked away and ignored all my comments , I told him I would take chicken instead and he he still gave me ORIGINAL TENDERS WHICH I DID WANT. Once I received my food and started to eat I realized all my food was old from the chicken to the tenders including the sides were old.
It's not like it use to be. The chicken tasted old, the honey butter biscuit was stale. The fries were cold and old. Just no flavor. The workers were not wearing hair nets, no gloves while handling food at all.. awful!!! I won't return to that location.
Worst churches I ever been to. I told my nephew not to go. Now they have a 10 piece for $13.99 and a 8 piece for $19. I go to another one and 10 piece is 11.99 total rip off at this location. I ordered an XL chicken sandwich combo which is supposed to come with TWO sandwiches but they only gave me one! Then when I tried to call and conplain they hung up on me- awful service and a total rip off! Furthermore, apparently the workers were really rude to my uber driver who was just asking for no pickles and extra mayo on my order like I had asked- if you want chicken just go to Raising Canes. Better service, better food, and they never mess up my order.
Well I placed an order for a family meal through the drive thru, when I got home to eat and watch boxing that I'd been waiting to see, there was food missing. I called them, they told me to come back, I really didn't want to I was watching my fight, Canelo. But I had a bunch of hungry kids that wanted their tenders, so I went back and they didn't even give them to me. After telling me to go back, I didn't want to waste no more time so I ended up just buying another family meal, they didn't have the sides available that I wanted. Most horrible experience and I didn't get to watch my fight. Never again, I dont recommend that to anyone.
Waited for my order in front of building because I was asked to wait there. I waited more than 30 min and walked in after they locked doors and still they gave two cars behind me their food and hadn’t even started on my food. Mind you they didn’t even tell me they were short on food or taking long. Very unprofessional and poor customer service.
Never again! They messed up my order not once but twice. I had stopped eating church’s because they changed their meat. They gave my order to the wrong customer twice! Almost making me miss my appointment. After my appointment I came back and ordered the exact thing and they messed it up again! I gave it a shot at another. See 2nd review! I’m done with Church’s in Texas!!
We were turned away at the door at 9:56pm with the worker saying that they are closed. Their door states that don't close till 11:00 p.m. I won't be going to this location anymore.
Horrible service, my father went to go order and wanted to add 2 more pieces of chicken, so the employee asked there maneger (Derek) to help. The Maneger had such a horrible attitude and extremely rude. The Maneger even yelled at the cashier and snatched my father's credit card out of her hand and yelled at her that she couldn't do that. And the maneger told another employee to help my father in a horrible way. A person like this should not be in a position to leade others or the face of the company.
Food is great but this locations customer service is lacking due to this locations lack of team work. Literally saw one lady working while everyone just walk around the outside and it wasn’t the manger for sure.
Horrible experience if I ask for fresh chicken I would like fresh chicken. The chicken that was served to me tasted like it had been sitting under the light for hours. The chicken was old and I wouldn't recommend no one eating at that location.
Went to order in the drive through. There was a car in front of me and the manager couldn’t get their order correct. When I finally made it to the speaker about 15 minutes later, o placed my order and still had to wait to pull up to the window because the manager still had the other order wrong. Once I got to the window, the manager had my order wrong and I told him I had been waiting more than 20 minutes for him to still get the order wrong. I suggested next time he park cars with big orders and with his rude attitude told me he wasn’t going to do what I told him and told me to leave that I wasn’t going to get my order. I told him I was going to wait until he got it right and not only did he laugh in my face and shut the window but threatened he had called the police on me…for getting my order wrong? He told me I could sit in the DT all night that he was still getting his money. I guess he doesn’t know that we pay his “money.” This manager whomever he is working between 4-5pm NEEDS TO GET FIRED! No customer service, no people skills, and on top threatening. I wish him luck though because KARMA will get him
This is the reason why y'all closed down in North Arlington I drove all the way to your location to get chicken before y'all close and the person refused to take my order. I'll never come back to this location again. I've been a resident of the city for 46 years.
I ordered a 2 piece dark original in the drive thru. When I got home and took a bite, I discovered the chicken was spicy. I returned to the restaurant with my meal for a refund.I did not have a receipt because I did not get one. I knew my order was 9 something and told the lady that’s few times. She handed me 8.00. I did not press the issue since I didn’t have a receipt, but they should have been able to ring up what I had ordered to get the exact total. There was absolutely no customer service. No apology, no explanation of how she came up with the refund amount, just put it on the counter.
So my mom ordered food online. And the app said that the card didn’t go through sent an error. So we looked at the bank statement and it in fact took the money out . She drove over there to go had and see what was going on. And if thy ended up getting the other or not. She got up there and was trying to explain that thy charged the card and asked if the other came in. The lady told her she didn’t get an order and my mom asked if she can talk to the manager. She came back and said that the manager couldn’t talk to her. So my mom ended up ordering it there. After she gets home thy forgot the jalapeños she passed with the order. We call up there the phone just rings and rings. I don’t get how your gonna run a business and don’t even try to help people out

WORST!!! PLACE EVER!!!CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS!!ORDERED FOOD & WAITED 25 MINUTES BEFORE I FINALLY ASKED WHY DID EVERYONE ELSE AFTER ME GET THEIR FOOD? SHE LOOKED AT LIKE A DEER IN HEADLIGHTS! SHE THEN ASKED FIR MY RECEIPT! I ASKED HER YOU FIRGIT MY ORDER? SHE NODDED YES!!!REALLY IF I HAD NOT ALREADY PAID I WOULD HAVE LEFT BUT $25 IS NOT CHEAP? If I could I would give them no stars!!!!
They told me I had to wait to get my order. I waited 35 mins for French fries that weren’t even in the process of being cooked until I went inside. The tall lanky lady could not move any slower. The place is ran by the slowest and clueless workers on the planet.
I've never seen worse service. They all wander around and have no care when you get your food The chicken is sitting there and I stood here for 20 minutes
I bought a three-piece dinner and I was charged extra five dollars wasn’t giving me all my food and I also received a wrong drink and the lady that worked did not try to help me with my situation at all
I wouldn’t dare spend my money here again! This place lacks customer appreciation. I ordered 4 tenders and only received 3. As you can see in the picture the biscuit and fries AND chicken are over cooked/burnt. I hated I was in a rush because I couldn’t return the food. My money was wasted for poor food. If someone from higher up reads this please address this with this location. It’s just unfair for customers.
Online says they close at 11pm. Went by at 9:30pm and they are closed. This is frustrating especially if you drove from Fort Worth
Very unprofessional business. I went to this location on s. Collins for lunch. I went through the drive through to place my order but no one answered so I decided to just pull up to the next window because maybe the speaker is not working… the lady sees me at the window never said one second or anything she continues to take orders inside of the place so I get out and go in after being ignored at the window. I went in with no attitude I just wanted something to eat. She still never greeted me so I stood there waiting as she finished up the other guys order that was already waiting on his food. After a few minutes I asked for her manager, she says they’re in the back but they never came out to talk I only wanted to address the unprofessional behavior the lady had presented. She walked off speaking Spanish picking at her butt 🙄 she came back up finished up that man’s order. At THAT point I left I will never attempt to go there ever again! Nasty place! Nasty attitudes.
Worse experience ever. I love their food normally but it has gone down. The service was a nightmare they don't listen to the customer. They way overcharged me and refused to correct it. They didn't give us our biscuits the tenders looked like tiny nuggets. I will have to start going to Cane's more expensive but better quality. Everything is going up but quality is going down. If you want Churches Chicken try to find a better location.
Really hate to write a negative review for one of my favorite restaurant chains, but here we go. Made the mistake of ordering for delivery through the Church's app. So far so good right? Yay, Church's delivers! Well, order over $50 worth of food and delivery came about 5 mins ahead of schedule via Door Dash (that part is important). Well, it was the wrong order. So I call the restaurant and speak to someone on shift, assuming the manager. Detailed the issue and was told Church's does not do delivery so I need to check through whatever third party I ordered through. When I detailed that the order was placed through the Church's app, I was told that the store is not responsible for what the Dashers deliver, it is the responsibility of the Dasher to verify orders. Explained that I was not aware that the store held no responsibility since I did order through the Church's app, but whatever. OK, that's fine so I ask my options. Long story short, I ended up just requesting a refund since it was apparent that this was the best option unless I wanted to go pick up the food myself or have an on shift worker inconventiently go out of their way to bring it. Was highlighted that it would be inconvenient and is NOT something that is usually done. So yeah, just asked for a refund and let it go. However, was then told that if I wanted a refund there could be issues because "people always have issues with getting refunds done". Not sure if that was supposed to be about Door Dash or Church's, but it has been a week and still no signs of a refund. Needless to say, this was a disappointment. Will wait another week to see if refund happens and then will reach out to corporate I guess. -Update- So yeah, been a few weeks and still no refund or word on refund. Very disappointing.
It is written on the site that it closes at 10:30 and we came at ten and they did not receive and closed the doors in our face and this is not a good job and now as I see that there are many customers at the door of the shop and they tell us it is closed Or maybe change the closing clock why don't they change the closing clock on the site
My wife put in my Order at 6:15. It's Currently 6:45 and I still have not received my food. Clearly they were not understaffed because they were knocking out orders left and right as people came in and my order was still not being made even though it was made earlier than those odors that were coming in. There was a small child playing with the very tongs that they were using to make orders. She even took them outside. When I made the cashier/order filler aware that it was unsanitary, she reacted nonchalantly. Why is there a child behind the counter in the first place?
Today I bought chicken from Churches Chicken next to Taco Bell. On the matlock It tasted so bad, it smelled like bleach There was no seasoning or salt, they just fried it. It had a strange taste. I couldn't find the taste of the chicken I always buy. Churches but not the same tastes like today I called and told them, but the guy didn't even care.
I’m new to Grand Prairie and was in the mood for some chicken, so I stopped by your location. When I got to the window, I politely asked if the chicken could be made fresh. To my surprise, I was met with a very rude response — I believe from the manager — who snapped, “Our chicken is always fresh,” with a frown. She then began speaking in Spanish to the staff, and shortly after, I received an order that was missing a piece of chicken and included a burnt apple pie with no filling. Let me be clear: I wasn’t trying to offend anyone. I simply made a polite request. I understand there may be a lot going on right now, especially with how certain political decisions are affecting the Hispanic community. I truly empathize with that — I really do. But let’s be honest, we’re all going through something. Respect should still be mutual. I say this not in anger, but with understanding. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning.
Honestly I always try to see the positive side of things, but it’s the second time I come to Church’s and the quality is terrible. The chairs are always dirty and there is always noise, the sodas are hot. The service is very terrible, my sister and I went to eat and they couldn’t even provide us with utensils or a single sauce, they wanted to charge us for the sauce that our order brought. The customer service/Cashier staff was not Courts or worried about the client. The first time I went I found the manager scolding and talking badly about her staff with the customers who were in the place.
Customer service sucks sat the drive threw speak for 10 min before she said hold on again mine you their no customers waiting in drive threw or in store. Come back to the speaker i replied give me 2 3peices a brest an two wings for bothe an one with okra an one with fries. Large fanta red an reg dr peppe. Had to pull to the front an wait. Waited for 10min pulled back to the drive threw window an inquire about my order why it was taking so long so the manager hands me a bag with cold chicken an old also it was only a two piece instead of the two wings an a brests totally rude and should only be allowed outside sweeping
I went into this drive thru and the manager was rude he gave me less than half a cup of white gravy and said that’s all I get for only 3 tenders and if I was to get want more then I would have to pay $3 more. The gravy barely covered the bottom of the cup. When I told him I would never come back to this location he said “It’s ok, you’re not the last customer “ he can’t tell me how much to dip my tenders in gravy that I paid for. I also went a previous time and he asked to see my cell phone through the drive thru so that he could complete a survey for me giving him all goof feedback for a free order of bombers. I will continue to call and leave reviews until something is done about him. Customer service is completely dead now.
