Attended a motorcycle charity event here. It was packed with people. It still wasn't super loud though. And it didnt seem like the wait at the bar was too long.

This is a nice chill bar with 9 or 10 pool tables and sometimes they have a live band. I've been going to Diamond Jims since the mid 80's when it was called Mickey Finns.

Awesome waitress didn't catch her name but you will know when you see her oh yeah not a bad place to unwind after work.

This is one heck of a Texas Pool Hall. The drinks are affordable as well as mixed by pro's. The staff is nice at making you feel welcome. I have been there on karaoke nights, Monday's & Sundays, where Bryan spins the songs you like to sing. If you find your self near Arlington an want to play pool & have a very good time with good people. Stop by , I know I'll be back. Ask Carl nicely if he'll dance on the bar for ya!!!

This is the second time I've been here, the first was my dad's 80th birthday and the second was my Brothers Celebration of Life. The employees were sweet as can be, they were very attentive and polite. If I still lived around the area I would be there a lot. I live in Oklahoma City

Leo and Jax are always great every single time, my girl and I basically go because of them , great bar. Cheap drinks too Single now but Jax doesn't work here anymore but Leo is still here, Carl the owner or guy that runs the bar is still around from time to time , he's a very funny guy, the bar has a saloon feel to it, but most people that come here know each other, great place to wind down.

Diamond Jim's has been in business under one name or another since 1961 which by the way can also be set of me. It's one of the first bars I ever stepped foot in when I was young and one of the first places I ever played when I got in the professional concert performances. It is an 18 90s style pool hall it has lots of room lots of seating lots of pool tables lots of regulars and lots of great staff and good music every weekend yes I will give that baby two thumbs up

This place is just an absolute treasure. You will receive a welcome at home vibe from the bartenders to the owner .Customer or not any person here has been just great. This establishment is an absolute must visit when one comes to Arlington. Wish I could give 6 stars.

Our favorite bar for this Dallas trip. Friendly service. Cheapest drinks in town. Got a beer and shot of crown for $7.. wow. In Miami, that would be $20. Looking forward to going back

I'm new to texas and this place was amazing. Some older cat named tom and his band rocked the show. Thursdays nights in texas have been my favorite so far.

We had a great time. The management was very attentive to make sure staff was taking care of the patrons promptly. When you have this kind of attention to customer service it usually results in a a great experience.

Great bar, with great people! We were in town for a concert and stopped in to play pool, and ended up playing in a tournament they were having. Bill was so welcoming. If we lived here, we would definitely be regulars! 😊

I'm gonna miss karaoke nights at Diamond Jim's, since the owner passed, and the bar permanently closed I was there, on Monday, earlier this month, and Carl was having a great time. He was talking to people, and was dancing, as we sang karaoke. Then Tuesday, a friend informed me that the person, who came to open the bar, found Carl dead, in his office. It was such a shock, since nobody saw it coming.

Visiting Diamond Jim’s several times during my last trip to Dallas. Played some darts, pool, and even jumped in on a Texas Hold’em tournament with a bunch of locals. The pool tables had great felt and bumpers, and the house cues were actually straight! The drinks were ridiculously cheap, and the staff were all so friendly. In my opinion, it’s the perfect casual neighborhood bar!

This local Bar is a great location to check out local bands on Saturday nights. They have a back room with pool tables, as well as a few on the upper deck, in the main bar area. The staff is friendly and will keep your drinks filled. Since it is on the Arlington, Grand Prairie border, on Great Southwest Parkway, it is close for inner city partying. If you decide to drop by find Nicky and say, "Uncle Tommy says Hi".

We visited Arlington (all the way from Canada) for a Cowboys game and after the game decided to pop into this fine establishment. My wife and I had a blast. Highly recommend! One of the best bars I’ve been to in awhile.

This is a Bar. They have no food. The Atmosphere here is great. Plenty of pool tables in the back. Live, local bands on Saturday nights. Right on the edge of Arlington and Grand Prairie. No need to go into down town to have a good time. The staff here is friendly and on their toes.

This is a very cool rock n roll !bar to listen to some good live music, drink, dance, play games and eat. They have an upstairs area with pool tables that looks down on the crowd and stage. They also have a big pool table room downstairs that is usually very busy. They also have an outside area in the front with picnic tables and a large grassy area for hanging out, smoking and drinking. You can reserve tables for a special event and have birthday parties. The house band, Rogue Radio is awesome and they rock the house.)

This bar is just the coolest ever. Love the set up inside. Love the wood. Love the upstairs balcony. They have several coin operated pool tables in the back. Couple of Cherry Masters or different machines of that type. Live bands on occasion. Good drinks great bartenders. I highly recommend!

It has pool tables on the 2nd floor. And the dark haired bartender is the sweetest firecracker! Fun place. Try it.

A year ago, I would have given them a 1 or 2 star rating, but the owner has really turned around this venue. The bands sound much better now with their current sound guy, the building/structure has some upgrades, and the staff is still friendly and generous to patrons. Still the cheapest place in town to by a bottle of beer! Only reason it's not 5 stars is due to the smoke, but I'll admit...it's not nearly as bad as The Rail Club or Wizards in Richardson.

Downside: No food served at Diamond Jim's, and the parking lot was at capacity once we parked the truck, unless you were coming on motorcycles. Upside: You're allowed to bring food, have it DoorDashed in, or take advantage of the food trucks that might be outside between Diamond Jim's and the venue next door. Drink service by our server, Brandy, was very good. Was there for my B-I-L's Black Sabbath tribute band "Iron Mang" playing. Stayed about 2 hours. The Liquid Marijuana cocktail was delicious 😋

Relaxed, chill bar. Live music was great, and not having to dress to the nines... awesome. The service is what's going to keep me Coming back, as are the drink prices which were cheap.

The waitress is always friendly and always makes my drinks just right everytime. It's outdated and could use a lot of improvement but has a very friendly environment no matter your race

Great bar, fun staff and decent priced drinks. They have a wide range of options and can make pretty much anything you ask for. So glad my brother introduced me to this bar. We like visiting during the day but it's super fun at night on the weekends. They have awesome live events and plenty of space to enjoy time with friends/family! However the outdoor seating could be updated since that's the only section for smokers and it'd be nice if they had lemons for specialty drinks.

Great bar! Has a saloon feel. Band was ok and limited to their song selections. Bartenders and waitresses were on point and know how to work a fast pace floor!!! We went thinking their was karaoke and there was not. That was what our group was expecting.

I am a regular here, and have been for years. The owner Carl is nice, and a funny guy. I have come to know several of the bartenders there, the tap beer is not ice cold, but goes down smooth after along day of work. It has a Cheers type of vibe before 7pm which I love. I will be going tomorrow to celebrate my birthday with a few pitchers and great bar debates.

We had such a good time. This a great place to go and play pool, hear live music, or just hang out. There were all different types of people there from bikers to country to metal heads and everyone was talking and having a good time. They had food and it was delicious. The staff was nice, the waitress was slow but i think that was due to having so many people and the bar being full as well. They had drink specials too!!

Bartender want very attentive but other than that good. Pool tables bar size but decent shape and plenty of them.

I like the bar, but I left my card there for a tab, went to a bar right next door. Came back around closing time. Me and a friend had 6 Jack and cokes. My tab was 45 dollars so clearly something fishy happened. I plan to dispute the charges.

I came for metal. I walked in to country music karaoke. I waited one song. Then another horri le country song. I then left. Don't we have enough horrible country music in Texas?

For me on the outside it looked like an old gun stroll in whisky joint. Well on the inside very spacious upstairs it's a two story bar with games pool tables live music stage dance floor huge bar. Even on the inside it looked like I was in an old western movie. I would not advise anybody to go it's a rough crowd and I thought i was going to become their barbeque sauce.
