Pretty fun park and good fries. The family rides on the left of the park are the best. Arrive when it opens for short lines. Floors are a little hot and I don't recommend the side salad.

Great WATERPARK FILLED will alot of things to do for all ages....I saw several social distancing tags along the park. I noticed the precautions along the wave pool with park goers standing in line to allow the next group in. There were signs about wearing a mask to be served at all concessions also. Upon entry there was a temperature reader you had to walk through and if your temperature was above a certain point you were asked to step aside. All park entries were with reservations that I set up online the night before. Keep in mind that you must reserve your parking or your parking attendant will not see you on their list,so you will have to continue to general parking further out. I did enjoy our day out at a picnic table that was shaded near the kiddie area that really helped with the heat. I used our park dinning pass to enjoy dipping dots, bought the slurpee cups as souvenirs for us all.The weight for the slurpee was a bit long but it worked out. Jb's is the only Turkey leg stand there so no you have to walk towards the back of the park, which was a.bit of a change from our last visits. I found the concessions were very fast , and lines were not as long like normal...kudos staff...you guys was rocking today. Guest service assisted me with a lost pass as my daughter lost it in the kiddie pool out her lanyard...that process was fast. I did find my app stating I needed to be in the park each time I tried to expedite our food by ordering through the new app I downloaded sad It didnt work. The app is very informative and is easy to navigate.

Social distancing was being maintained. Rides seemed clean. Attendants were disinfecting tubes beaten each rider. Food ordering by app is also very convenient. We spent three hours there. Very fun.

There's a lot of water rides for adults, big kids and toddlers. The place is clean everywhere we walked, life vest accessible all over the park, and many vending stands for snacks and drinks, large amount of shaded area in case you need to rest, and plenty of walking spaces. I take the kids here at least once in a month when it opened to close, it's bundled with our six flag season pass which makes it a really good deal!

Had a blast with the family for our back to school outing. Brought some extra friends along for a discounted rate offered with the season passes and memberships that Six Flags theme parks offer. Lines didn't have a long wait time so no flash pass was needed. The park provided life jackets for the inexperienced swimmers at no extra cost to it's guest. Inner tubes are available for rent unless it's required for a ride. Then it is provided. You are able to bring in empty water bottles. No outside food allowed. The theme park generally has photographers to take pictures. However it was difficult to locate one to redeem a free 6x8 coupon we had. Overall good experience. At a reasonable cost. In addition, the gift shop has the necessities at a reasonable price. Sun block, shades, water wallets for cell phones, water shoes, inner tubes, and souvenirs and more.

Omg first time coming here took my brothers at the waterpark we had so much fun thank god it didn’t rain at all it was perfect day to play with the water!

We had a great time at Hurricane Harbor in Arlington! The park was clean, the staff was helpful, and there were plenty of rides for all ages. From relaxing in the lazy river to the thrill of the big slides, there was never a dull moment. The lines moved faster than expected, and the kids had an absolute blast. Perfect way to cool off and make some summer memories — we’ll definitely be back!

A
Amir Fard

Me and my son like this place, normally week day less people and can go to any ride faster. Quality of the food its ok 👍 and We like the drinks. Weekend normally more crowded and should be more patient and stay in some ride more than 20 min.

We literally had a blast!! I have a crew of 4 and from the baby to the oldest they had a great time! The girls absolutely loved the lazy river and my boys were crazy about the wave pool. We will be back as soon as another off day comes around! They have life jackets, you can bring your own floating devices and yes there is a air pump to blow them up. Absolutely love being a member!

We had a great time yesterday, Wednesday. I grew up going to Wet 'n Wild. Some things have changed, but it's still fun. $25 entry ticket if bought the day before. $35 parking, $18 locker, and about $18 for a meal. We bought the $19 refillable day cup. The new kids' area was a lot of fun; so were many of the other slides. The staff were helpful and receptive to my questions. Make sure to wear sandals instead of going barefooted. There are shoe cubbies all over, to store your shoes. Your feet will thank you.

Loved it. Prepare to bring lots of money. Rides are for free but long waiting times. Great outdoor activity for the whole family

Enjoyed it very much!! Adv… get there early, find a nice shaded spot, get a locker for your cel, keys and wallet…. And enjoy the rides 😊

Their bone-in lemon pepper wings are delicious. They're only sold at 1 food booth so the line can be looooong. We go at opening to beat the lines. We have the season pass meal plan & you can get the free second meal after 3 hrs of the first meal. It's definitely worth the cost of the season pass.

We had a fantastic time at Hurricane Harbor! The park was very clean, well-maintained, and everything felt professional and organized. The lifeguards were especially impressive — friendly, attentive, and always helpful when we had questions or needed assistance. It’s clear the staff takes pride in keeping the park safe and enjoyable for everyone. We felt comfortable letting the kids play and explore knowing how watchful and professional the team was. A great place for family fun on a hot day — we’ll definitely be coming back! 🌊🏖️

We went here 15 minutes before opening time (10:30 AM) and the line was really short. 😃 Bag checks / customer check-ins were fast and organized. Not a lot of people either (at least for the first two hours) so we got to ride all the rides we wanted. Customer service was good... nothing special -- but definitely not bad either. Food was kinda "meh" but that's to be expected for places like these. Overall experience was great. Just do yourself a favor and come early (to avoid the long lines). 🙂

My family had a blast here but one thing that stood out to me the most was the around d the clock cleaning of the restrooms. It's very hard to keep a restroom clean at a public facility especially one such as this and many, many years ago I had to go to the restroom at HH and it was not the best experience,. It this time... I did not cringe! Amazing job to the staff. Being there period I. The heat, with so many people is demanding but everyone handle it so well. They were friendly, helpful, and made themselves a available.

I really enjoyed being here with my wife and two sons. (7 and 2) My oldest son loves to be in the wave pool, at the bucket, and the water slides. My two year old just enjoys being where us adults chill out at while we take turns on adventures with our seven year old. The only improvement I could think of is more canvas shade, because the pavement is way too hot trying to get out from the slides to getting back in line. You're not allowed to take your water shoes on the ride, and they expect you to burn your feet to get back on the ride.

They still got tha Der stuka....as well as lazy river. Yet now have a sgark...Yummy drinks , but expensive...Plan on spending 100$ on meals for the day..Parking is a shocker...35$ for the day...Way overpriced, but secure. Had fun, as always..Park reopens May 31 2023..

Great slides, clean park, great food, and the staff is very friendly. They have security everywhere so my stuff stayed safe without having to get a locker. They were also great with my autistic son. Definitely recommend!

J

Great water park, fun rides, and some very tall slides. The surfing simulator was so much fun. The slides are pretty high, so some of them can get you winded if you run to the top. Lazy River is a favorite of my family. They no longer provide floats for the river, but it's still quite fun. I think the one in San Antonio is a little better since it has multiple paths. It was convenient to get in the river, then float to near the entrance of a ride and get out and get in line. We stayed cool even though it was 101 the day we went.

Visiting from England....... came along to the thus water park as it was recommended. Didn't disappoint. Definitely would say buy tickets online beforehand worked out a lot cheaper. Found the pricing of the cabanas and shaded priority spots an absolute rip off in price 350 dollars one area and over 400 dollars for a more superior area...... but there were plenty of spaces in the shade for what we needed. Overall enjoyed our time there, many food and drink outlets, providing a "buy a cup" for 20 dollars which then allowed you free further drinks thereafter..... Many major slides.... I didn't personally go on, I enjoyed the main swimming wave pool.

Crowd was a decent amount of people. We attended on a Monday. Arriving about 1:30pm. We had fun. Lines for food was short. Lazy River wasn’t overly crowded. Ride lines were medium but doable.

B
Brittney Musser

Great visit! Chance of rain that day so the crowds were minimal. Some of the elevated rides were shut down due to potential lightning for a couple hours but they reopened. Their pineapple drink stand was absolutely to-die-for! Worth the price!

Our kids really enjoyed Hurricane Harbor. We've been twice this summer. Both times during the weekday. They can spend a whole day at this water park and the new Splash Island is awesome. There's an area for the little ones and not too far, a bigger area for the bigger kids with lots of waterslides. The lazy river is easy access from multiple areas. Food can be pricey. We do have season passes and added a dining pass, so having that made our visits more affordable.

Michele McKay

The park is great for kids of all ages with lots of water areas for playing and swimming. They're are lots of waterslides to choose from, even a mini version of two fun ones for the littles! The only complaint we had was the all day dining tickets had all kinds of issues! It was frustrating, but we still had fun at the park.

Jason Russell

Great place to relax and float the river. We have season pass and come 3 or 4 times a year. Get there early ride a few slides and then hang out in the lazy river. The new kids area is great.

Six flag water park, hurricane Harbor. It's the biggest water park in Dallas fort Worth, located in Arlington. It's just on the other side of Six Flags. It has a wave pool, lazy river, a new 2025 kids area, o lot of baby slides to every extreme ones. Lines are long as normal six flag, be patient. The pop corn bucket and soda bottle from six flags can be used here. They also have paid lockers. It's a lot of sun, make sure to bring sunscreen.

Had a blast! Kids loved it since we got there early to get on some of the best slides without a long wait. Also it helps with some shaded seating areas. Went on almost all the slides, the kids splash pad area is really fun even for the bigger kids. Food and drinks are a bit pricey as you would expect but the quality is above average, no complaints. Can't wait to go back!

We live in OKC and always get season passes so I can take my kids. They wanted to check out the one In Arlington this summer. This place is so so nice!!! We stayed all day (wished they stayed open a little longer)! We rented one of the double decker cabanas and it was definitely worth the money, it had a drink cooler stocked with bottled drinks that were included. We had a person waiting on us the whole time, the food came out super fast! The staff was so friendly and helpful!! We are coming back next summer for sure with an even bigger group!

First time going there and had so much fun. It's $5 off with a military discount. The parking is expensive at $35 but that's expected from a crowded water park. Will definitely be back more often now and getting a season pass to save on parking.

Melissa Miller

Had a great time here! Ample parking but had to walk a bit from car to park entrance. It would help if there were location identifiers in the parking lot to help remember where cars are parked. Numbered rows or even an animal or shape for zones. Liked all the places for shoes at bottom of rides but they weren't at all the rides.

I have been having fun at this water park for 30 years! We love cooling off with so much to do in one place. The slides are awesome with lots of levels of wild for all ages. Loads of food, treats, shade, lounge chairs, pools, and gear. A must go for summertime joy!

We came down from OKC to do Six Flags and Hurricane Harbor. Hurricane Harbor was wayyyyy bigger than I thought it would be! So worth it. I liked that they had security all over the park. Lines were short so that was nice. The park itself was clean and we felt safe.

I was EXTREMELY hesitant about visiting this park, but I’m glad I did because I had an amazing time! I’m not a good swimmer so I don’t visit water parks often, but this visit was perfect! I was able wear my water shoes on the rides and in the wave pool. The wave pool was big and clean. I love how there’s an area in the wave pool where you can sit (perfect for little people) and still experience the waves. There was a bit of a wait for multiple rider rides but the line moved pretty well. I didn’t encounter any rude staff. The last employee I had interaction with had a pretty nonchalant attitude when it came to my concern of the raft’s fit, but that was probably because we were the last of the visitors before he got to clock out. The pool area is AMAZING! The sitting wall on the inside of the waterfall is wonderful! The slides were a lot of fun! The lifeguards thankfully seemed very attentive also! There’s a few reviews complaining about how they weren’t allowed on because of weight. There definitely are certain rides with weight restrictions, but the weight limit is CLEARLY POSTED on the sign as you enter the ride. So if you’re honest with yourself before you walk up all those stairs, you’ll be alright. The only thing I didn’t like was when getting on the Sea Wolf, we all couldn’t ride together because of some height restriction. I was with two other people…one child and one adult. We were told the child needed to be under a certain height. I still don’t get it but didn’t make a big deal about it. I ended up riding with one of the teenage guys behind us. We didn’t try any of the food. The bathrooms could have been cleaner but they sufficed. Lockers were pretty expensive but came in very handy with the in/out privileges. We went on a Friday after 4p and all the rides were open except the Mega Wedgie. You’ll want to spend atleast 5 hours here to fully experience the park.

Fun family park. Be patient and be prepared to wait in long lines especially for the popular attractions. The lazy river was nice. The food service was not very organized and they kept messing up people's orders, everything was overpriced. We have been to water parks before so we kind of knew the system. The kids had a blast. You can bring you water containers for water refills. I recommend purchasing a refillable cup and it can be refilled every 15 minutes. Don't forget your sunblock and water shoes.

G
Guillermo Navarro

The Park is nice and the rides too, I don’t give it a 5 star due to the waiting to get in the rides, everything else was very nice, however pricey.

M
Michael Estes

Rides are fun, water is cool, food is what you expect, the fruit drinks in the pineapples are the bomb!! The concession stands need some over 25 supervision, the staff all work so hard. But they don't seem to have support as in management support. I truly hope six flags who hires children, pay them a decent wage. We need to start asking these questions. Kids are running the amusement parks...where are the adults, watching from the Air Conditioning. Trust me I get it. Make it too expensive and the majority cannot afford it- tight rope walking the minimum amount of maintenance to keep the park working and making a profit. Come and support these hard working youth that are our future.

The grandkids loved it, I enjoyed the Lazy River a lot in the early morning. Food was bad nasty, dried, and overcooked, super expensive 4 burger and fries with sodas $ 70.00 one Bubba tea $10.00 way too much for such bad 👎 food.

Reasonable entrance fees but food and drinks and insanely expensive. Not allowed to bring in water bottles or Gatorade. Got to buy their expensive water bottles! Great Water park and staff is attentive and professional.

Great concept of use of the park for a Jurassic style adventure. They should have had aome more adventure parts take place the during the hour serpentine wait to get to the actual show.

Good time! Lines weren’t too long even on the 4th of July. Highly recommend a cabana if you want to survive the heat!

Luckily it wasn't crowded. Everyone in our family and friends enjoyed it. My 6 year old had a great time. The kids splash pad has multiple slides. There are even little water slides which my 2 year old enjoyed sliding.

Nice waterpark for the kids. During the summer is crazy not enough workers around to help. Over all not bad just recommend bring food so you don't wait an hour.

Hurricane Harbor was good. My 1st time going with the lil one and the family. We had a fun time. Going on a Sunday during school season was easy no super long lines. I'd advise getting a meal ticket that was helpful. Also buy a refill cup, it's worth every penny.

N
Neida Queme

Despite living so close it was my first time ever coming here. It was great, we came as a family and even my little of 10 months had a blast. Plenty of options on things to do. Shade and seating. Only complaint would be the shower room. The older lady cleaning the showers made me so uncomfortable. She kept hollering to everyone to not make a mess and talking to herself that she’s only bere to pay her rent. My baby made a small spill from his juice nd she sure let me know she was upset about that.

J
Jamie Loyd

Everything went pretty well we had a lot of fun my lady and my daughter. I thought we all had a really good time so it was good. Some rides the lines took up to 30 minutes. Other rides like 10 or 15 minutes. The environment was good though everybody just having a good time so no bad vibes. We wasn't going to spend our money on food or anything in there we just save our money on that cuz it's too expensive. Well definitely go back a lot of fun.

J
Justin Williams

Food prices are extremely expensive and they give you very little food and its not even that good at all. Parking should be free, they rip you of there too. $35 just to park. Life guards are alert, my son went on a ride and got disoriented on which way was the exit in the water and the life guard was to him immediately, we never saw any waves at the wave pool. Other than those three things it was a good experience.

L
Luisa Velez

We went on Father's day. Not to bad on the crowd. For the most part there is plenty of shade. The lazy river is now rent a tube but you can still walk it. All the rides were open. Pricing for food was about $20 a meal

N
Nicholas K

We came here for the movie night where they show you a movie and you hang out on a tube in the wave pool (no waves). It was a unique and fun experience. The park itself is cool and has a lot of options for rides, slides, and a lazy river. You can rent a tube or bring your own here. Also, if you bring an empty water bottle, they will fill it for you at any of the concession stands which I thought was really nice. We have a membership so we will be back for sure.

J

As a Six Flags Plus pass holder me and my son come here on days when it's too hot for Six Flags, fun water park but lines are a bit too long for the thrill rides and during our last visit they had a quarter of the park shut down and closed 2 hours ahead of schedule. We weren't too happy about it seeing that our new favorite ride was the boogie board waves :( also had a bit of an argument over my son's height on one of the rides during our first visit. I understand safety but my son was clearly tall enough to ride the ride and had rode it earlier in the day but a trainee wouldn't allow him to, even after showing her he was clearly inches above the height requirement. Some people just can't admit their faults but it is what it is. Otherwise when the whole park is open we do have an awesome time!

Karlee Kakes

Update from 6/13: Had a blast! Only thing I don't like is that the lazy river has drop offs. I was carrying my 2yo and I went under not realizing it was a drop and I swear I thought I had drowned my baby. So glad my husband was there to grab her. Then later on he turned around and did the same thing! You guys should really make the lazy river level. Also in the big pool area where the sitting water fountain is there's a big dip you got to watch out for I almost fell anf the sitting part of the fountain needs to be redone aswell because the edge in some spots is sharp. Rode the raft water slide today with 2 of my kids and it was sooo fun! Wear shoes because the ground is HOTTT obviously! Original review 8mo ago: This was my first time here and I had a blast and so did the kids! We bought our season passes when they were on sale! Only problem we had is someone stole our season cup smh🙄. If you don't have money to buy your own stay home!

A

The waves have been lowered down in intensity. And they added a new rule. If youre under 48in. You have to wear a life vest. Bogus rule if you know how to swim.

I had the most incredible experience at Six Flags Hurricane Harbor water park! It was an absolutely perfect day filled with fun and laughter. The weather couldn’t have been better - a beautiful sunny day with just the right amount of breeze to keep us comfortable throughout our water adventures. The park’s atmosphere was lively and vibrant, creating an exciting atmosphere from the moment we arrived. The water park offered a fantastic array of attractions for all ages, and my friends and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment. From the adrenaline-pumping water slides to the relaxing wave pools, there was something for everyone to enjoy. The only minor hiccup we encountered was with the cabana services, which seemed a bit slower than expected. However, it didn’t dampen our spirits one bit. We found other ways to make the most of our day, immersing ourselves in the refreshing waters and sampling the mouthwatering food options the park had to offer. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring we had a memorable time despite the minor delay in the cabana service. Their dedication to customer satisfaction was evident throughout the park. Overall, I can’t praise Six Flags Hurricane Harbor enough for the exceptional experience they provided. It was a day filled with joy, bonding, and adventure that will undoubtedly stay with us for a long time. If you’re looking for a thrilling and unforgettable water park experience, this is the place to be!

Six Flags Hurricane Harbor is a good family water park to visit on the weekends! Be sure to bring extra sun screen for the Texas heat and prepare for long lines for everything. Season Pass Members: My wife and I are season pass members for Six Flags, which allows us unlimited access to both Six Flags over Texas in Arlington and Six Flags Hurricane Harbor - both parks located in Arlington, Tx. If you plan to visit more than 4 times in a year, it will pay for itself! Food Pass: My wife and I are yet to do this, but we plan to purchase the food plan pass, which give you two meals (lunch and dinner) and a snack every time you visit. We’ve already been to each park once this year, which we’ve spent close to $40 each meal when we went. This will surely pay for itself if you plan to visit more than a few times. Rides and Attractions: With two kids (3yo and 1yo) we spend most of our time in the Lazy River, which goes in a large circle around the wave pool and park, and in the kid’s play area. There are a few rides that our 3yo could do behind just about 36”, but the lines are incredibly long. Long lines are not the issue, as that’s what you should expect at any amusement park; however, add in the Texas heat and it can be quite difficult to wait for long periods of time with little ones. Food and service: My deduction from the review is here. Jacked up prices on food is expected at an amusement park. However, the past couple times we’ve visited, I’ve had not so pleasant experiences with the food vendor staff. I’m sympathetic towards highschool kids who get summer jobs and work at amusement perks; however, I think there can be better training or management of said employees in order to give a better experience to families in customer service, and speed and accuracy of delivery. Overall, it’s a hard deal to pass if you plan to visit more than a few times a year. Just don’t expect the perfect experience and prepare for the Texas heat in the summer.

We visited on a day that it wasn't that busy. Lazy river was busy. You couldn't get a tube. But most lines to the slides etc went very fast. I was extremely disappointed that I couldn't rent a wheelchair. But there are a lot of steps and uneven walkways. So I see why. The guest service ppl were amazing. They helped us go online and get our tickets!!! It was a fun water park and I suggest taking your family there.

m

It was a bit understaffed at times. They needed to clean water off the base of the bridge to the pool. Slip hazard. The lines were pretty long to the slides. The diamond area covered club for diamond passes was nice but was full when we went prob 10 times. I just used it once. Lockers are min $10.

Car parking cost too much, disable parking is not aavailableat 11.30am. Can't come backup in parking spot, it's one way. Lazy river & wave water : you need to rent Tube, I went another water park, it was included. This is not good. Rides are good.

We visited Hurricane Harbor Arlington the last week of the 2025 season. The cons, we were excited to play in the wave pool, only to learn the jet propulsion system was broken. The wave pool ended up being just a very large saleen pool. We made the most of it, but we were disappointed. We did visit near the end of the season, but found the park overall a bit dirty especially the lazy river. There was trash left by guests, that was not picked up in a timely manner. Also, the locker we rented, the smallest size, was 15 dollars! As season pass holders we thought the rental fee was high. We expected the drinks and concessions to be expensive, but were surprised at how expensive the locker rental fee was. The pros, while there I got some sunscreen in my eye. I found my way to First Aid and they took swift action flushing out my eye and had cold free water to drink. They were patient when I returned for a second eye flush. Also the worker at the concession stand kindly offered me a cup of ice free of charge. The staff in general were polite. Overall, my two teen boys had a fun time and would recommend the park, with a note of caution concerning park cleanliness and hidden costs.

Love the rides and the new splash pad area is awesome. However, we have never been when all the parts of rides are open. There are always multiple slides shutdown, even on the weekend, when things should be fully open! And the wave pool has been broken for at least the last 2 weeks! And the women's bathroom is always disgusting. Hair and toilet paper and dirt everywhere. Awful place to try to change after a day in a swimsuit. There's even been fecal matter in the showers! It's no wonder the smaller water parks

Visited for my first time on a Friday. Got the Silver Season Pass online that morning (it was the same price as a single-day ticket with parking). WHAT I LIKED: Rolled up about 40 minutes after the park opened. There was no wait to enter the lot or the park itself. Slides were fun and wait times weren't bad (with the exception of Sea Wolf). Lazy river was relaxing, wave pool was fun, and the water temperatures weren't too cold. They honor the All Season Drink Bottle from the Six Flags park. There are lots of lockers which are super conveniently located and easy to access throughout the day. WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE Not near enough shaded chairs / loungers!!! There's lot of shaded picnic tables. The very small amount of shaded seats get snagged by the first people in the park. They are located to the left of the wave pool (chairs) and by Suntan Lagoon (lounge chairs). You can't bring your own tubes for the lazy river but can rent theirs. Not tubes allowed in the wave pool. Some of the best slides require 2 riders. There could be better signage leading to the rides, entrances to the lazy river (some spots are exit only) and restrooms. NOTE: Some slides require you to step on a scale just before placing your tube to be launched.

We tried to go during the week and get there as soon as they open. So we can try to ride some of the big rides before the crowd comes in the new addition they have added is super cute. Food lines can take up to an hour to receive your food, so I recommend eating while you can. Or when you see the lines are not long, pretty safe place. Just make sure you don’t take the wrong things because they do make you toss them to the Trash. Make sure your life jackets are lifeguard approved or they will make you toss it in the trash, or take it back to your car, and then you have to go through the whole Line again.

We came to Hurricane Harbor on a Wednesday and the lines were short for most slides and there was plenty of parking. The staff members we met were respectful and professional. Hurricane Harbor is a fun place but shade is a premium. We rented a locker, the bathrooms are large and clean. With benches for changing.

I'll start off with the negative. You have to pay to rent the tubes for the lazy river. I thought that was outrageous people were walking around in the lazy river they should have called it a fitness river. The prices for food are crazy but that was expected. We absolutely loved this place. The slides, the wave pool, and the surf 🏄‍♀️ 🌊 wave. It all was so much fun.

Except for the ride wait time, we had so much fun! for each ride we had a wait time of 15-30 minutes(especially the larger rides) There were several food options but again there was a really long queue for everything. 6 hours wasn't enough to go to every ride especially since they stopped the rides because of lightning.

We’re pass holders so we come here often throughout the season, year after year. Today, however was a bummer tho. It’s around 100 degrees here in Texas and every food establishment in all hurricane harbor is out of ICE!!!! Not good for end of July in Texas at a water park!!! It was brutal, drinking hot drink in 100 degree weather. Not cool Hurricane Harbor…. Not cool… Hopefully ya’ll can figure out what the problem was and address it sooner rather than later.

Went to the outside Dinosaur Exhibit and a lot of the dinosaurs weren't working plus one was broken. Even though we reserved a time, it took forever just to get in but my four-year-old enjoyed it very much.

We came specifically to enjoy the new section they called Splash Island, as well as the rest of the park. Was definitely fun, with a few minor exceptions. The taller slides within Splash Island didn't state what you could/couldn't have (ie...sunglasses, crocks, etc) until you got to the very top and was ready to slide down it. Then, another slide within the same area let us keep them. Needs to be better posted so nobody has to climb all that way just to be sent back down. Also, the new food area called Smokehouse on the water wouldn't honor my Diamond Elite VIP Memberships! We've had our memberships since 2018 and to be told we can't get our cups filled (#1), then to be told that since we didn't know they don't honor our cups, we were also informed that they won't even give us water in them, however the nice lady DID allow us water "this time". I pay too much on a regular monthly basis to be told my memberships aren't honored is just crazy!!! Still, we had a fun time otherwise ;^D

K
Keri DeSersa

The attractions were all great and fun. People stealing my tube while I turned around to put my kids in the wave pool, that sucks. I understand there's not much that can be done but still

B
Bobby Mccann

Was amazing no long waits like six flags! Wish we didn't have to carry our tubes up every time but over all very fun. Good was overpriced and nasty

S
Scott Rounds

Good sized water park associated with Six Flags. We were a bit disappointed on this visit as at least 8 of the attractions were closed. We were also saddened to learn they no longer have brisket nachos. They have ground beef and chicken and the portion is not worth the price you pay. Overall an okay visit but hope they improve in the future.

J
J. Wes Driver

Good water park. It's what you expect in most cases, but the tall slides and the wave pool were not operating, which was a bit disappointing. However, do NOT eat at Smokehouse on the water. This was a clown show! Took us 45 minutes just to get some fries. They had no idea what they were doing!

K

.. So many people. Long lines for everything. Perhaps they should hire more people. Very crowded. The bathrooms were in horrible condition. FILTHY and SMELLY! I'm pretty sure a code of some kind is being violated. Other than that My kids and Grandchildren had a I had a pretty good time.

E
Em

Place is always packed, the line is always long for each ride n the rides r like 15 seconds. I think nrh20 woulda been better. And they also don't allow coolers. As soon as we got into a short ride they shut the whole section down.

I visited here last weekend and sustained a coccyx injury whilst coming off the sea wolf slide. It took an hour wait time to get up there, nice leisurely slide but as we came to the bottom, there is a hard bump at the end and both my 9 year old and I bumped it. I'm still tender and in pain a week later. We didn't get a chance to get on the tornado because there was just 1 quad floater and the line wasn't moving. The wave pool as nice. Water was clean and the waves were coming every 15 mins or so. Splash pad was nice as well. The mat slide races were quite fast and a couple of the big tub slides were decent. I got the tickets at a discount from my job but don't think you get away with not having to pay for parking! It's $37 including taxes! Nice large changing rooms/shower stalls. Lockers were adequate. The only thing that really ruined this visit was the tailbone injury.

R
Robert Mooberry

Six Flags has cleaned up the park quite a bit. The rust stains are gone, and water features are repaired or redone. We went on a Wednesday to avoid crowds and failed. A good 1/3 of the slides weren't running, and the ones that were had long lines. I'm not sure if this was a maintenance issue or a staffing issue. More slides would have meant shorter lines and a much nicer experience. Gone are the free tubes. The wave pool only had waves randomly and not often. I'd have been more likely to rent a couple of tubes if it ran consistently and often. I don't mind spending money if I'm getting decent value. The lazy river used to flow hard, it was hard to stand against it. Now the flow is pretty weak. Not an improvement as far as I'm concerned. We have a pass nearly every year but seldom visit. I think that we will try to go more often.

Hurricane Harbor in Arlington is definitely a fun summer destination, especially when the Texas heat feels unbearable. The park has a wide range of attractions, from towering water slides that give you a good adrenaline rush to the calmer, family-friendly rides like the lazy river and splash areas for kids. The wave pool is always packed with energy and excitement, and there’s enough variety in the slides to keep both thrill-seekers and casual visitors entertained throughout the day. However, the experience isn’t without its frustrations. The crowds are one of the biggest downsides. On weekends or holidays, the lines for the more popular slides can drag on for 30 minutes or more, which really cuts into the fun. Seating and shaded areas are also limited, so unless you arrive early, it can be difficult to find a comfortable spot to rest between rides. Food and drinks are available, but they are expensive for what you get, and the quality feels closer to basic carnival fare than a premium amusement park. Cleanliness is another area that could use improvement. Staff are generally polite and helpful, but high-traffic areas like restrooms and eating spaces often don’t stay clean for long when the park is crowded. Overall, Hurricane Harbor offers plenty of excitement, but the long waits and high costs bring the experience down to average.

First off, parking is a nightmare. Get ready to walk on hot asphalt for a while. Once in, they do have lots of seating, but you'll have to fight for a spot. The wave pool, or should I say the big pool with no waves, is freezing cold hell all the water is cold. They have great slides, though, but long wait times, but it was a Saturday afternoon. Would I go back? No! We just went because we drove up from New Braunfels, and we had all the parks pass.

R
Reyes Salas

Raise my monthly payment but downgrade on food. Wings were disappointing. Water not clean in 2 areas- my kids even noticed and complained. Hurricane Harbor- Do better. Been a loyal member since 2021. If I pay more - I expect better.

J
Jeff Cunningham

Very disappointed. The structure is neat and seems to be well laid out, but we keep getting turned away from slides because there's nobody here to work the entrance to the slides. There are lifeguards literally "guarding" the ends of slides that aren't in operation. We're currently in line and and have been waiting for 30 min, which isn't terrible, but it wouldn't be this long if the 10 slides in my immediate view were open. Big failure of management. I recommend hiring someine who can properly manage employees so people will get the value they were promised when we purchased our tickets.

C

We took are kids here thinking we would share our childhood memories from the 90’s with them and give them some of the same. 😂 couldn’t have been further from the truth. This water park has turned into the getto harbor. Staff is there for a pay check. No sir or ma’am, no how may I help you, no thank you, no eye contact or reaction to what you were asking for besides being handed what you ordered. Next is trying to keep your food down with the rears hanging out of suits on the women, showed no modesty. The facilities are dirty and look like paint on paint with the exact footprint from 30yrs ago. This should be half the price for the experience and facilities. If this didn’t have Six Flags on the brand it would be a parking lot. This facility has given up on a customer experience. I would have head to epic from what we have heard from friends. They all raved about it even though it’s a bit more.

N
Noah Thomas

Was super exited to get there, couple rides were in repair so a little grace should be given I suppose. Still, we were there for 4-5 hours and spend 95% of our time in line even though it was not busy. Got through 3 rides while we were there, and only 1 of them i actually liked. Their line systems and crowd management is horrible. Additionally, (as expected) prices and extra costs were completely ridiculous. Might be better in the weekend and non- holidays…

A
Angel Maldonado

The water park itself is amazing — clean, well-maintained, and with plenty of attractions to keep the kids busy all day. My children had a blast and we really enjoyed the atmosphere and the variety of activities. It’s definitely a place we would love to come back to. Unfortunately, the concession stand was the biggest downside to our visit. The service was very slow, the staff seemed unorganized, and the overall attitude was poor. For families with kids, food and drinks are a big part of the day, so the inefficiency and lack of customer service there made things frustrating. If the concession stand operation improved to match the quality of the rest of the park, this would be an absolutely top-notch experience all around.

I've been coming to Hurricane Harbor since I was a kid in the 90's. Season pass holder for years, but I think I'm ready to move on. Over the past few years, they have removed classic rides( bonsai boggins), reduced staff to the point they can't fully operate, and increased prices for everything inside the park. I went with my daughter the other day (mid-week), and nearly half the attractions were closed. Because of this, all the lines for the open rides were long. I witnessed concession customers being ignored to the point they gave up and walked away... it was strange. After 2 hours we were over it and went to six flags to enjoy the rest of our day. I am including a map of the park marked with closed and partially closed rides.

Probably the worst water park I’ve been to. Paying for parking and entry to the water park is a bit ridiculous. If they’re trying to ensure people who are parking in the lot are going to the water park they should have the park pass before entering to parking space. On top of that most of the employees there looked like they did not want to be there. One of the food stands we ordered at had a kiosk to order food and although you can opt in for a text message it only sends your order number and gives no indication as to when the order is ready. The workers and the kiosk didn’t inform us that we had to wait by the stand until our food is ready and that we wouldn’t receive any message when our food is ready. And instead of removing items that are no longer available from the options on the kiosk they simply yelled and told the crowd there is no more after they ordered it 😑. The wave pool was another disappointment, the waves barely got high and lasted maybe 3 minutes. All the excitement for a huge let down. This please seemed like it was great many years ago but time has taken a toll on it. Final note buy your tickets in advance it’s cheaper.

C
Claudia Gutierrez

As soon as we purchased tickets we had problems. Then we purchased food pass for all day that took 1 hour to resolve. Ladies we're extremely rude at consesion stands and that was extremely stressful. No matter who we tried talking to they were very unprofessional rolling there eye and just upset. Needless to say my family and I will no longer attend. By the way we drove 6 hours just to be mistreat by everyone!!!!

Do my waste your money or time. I spent every summer day at this place most of my child hood. Well this is not the same park any local remembers growing up with. First off l, no coolers allowed at all, food and drinks are crazy high, or you can eat outside the park in your car. There is no wave pool anymore, just a giant swimming pool they coral you thru rope entry. No floats or tubes allowed( the pictures you see on here are old). The covered cabanas that surround the surf lagoon( wave pool) all cost more than a trip to the beach. Lazy river is ok, but only few tubes are available, was told we could not rent tubes either. So everyone chasing who ever has a tube like vultures waiting for them to exit. There are entry point and exit only, so have your shoes at once, exit at another and have to walk back for your shoes. The roses were decent, lines weren't too bad, but some had dual lines that no one knew until they were close enough to realize cause no signage depicted which lane. We left after a few hours of disappointment and we'll not be back again. My comparison comes from visits to Schlitterbahn, Jellystone, and Hawaiian falls, all of which I recommend over Hurricane Harbor.

Ashley Medina

I came on Sunday it was a nightmare ! We asked a gentleman at the bottom of one of the slides if it was opened. He said yes so we carried our tubes all the way to the top. Then we got up there and another gentleman came over and told us it was closed. So we asked if we could leave our tubes. He said yes. Then a lady came up to the top and started screaming at me and my family legit like she was possessed by demons. Telling us to bring our tunes back down, name calling us, and even at one point acting like she was gonna hit me in the face with her ID badge when I asked her name. She proceeded to follow me down and as I was reporting her to her supervisor was still screaming. My children are terrified now of this woman. She will 100 % hurt someone sad part is it will probably be a child she hurts. I have notified the parks manager. But parents be careful there is a monster being employed there with violent and raging outbursts.

I know this will fall on deaf ears at the management level, but this place was an absolute bust. I would not waste your money here. We booked a cabana a week before we were to arrive at the waterpark. When we got to the waterpark, they had given the cabana that we rented (cabana 21) to another family. I had the receipt in my email with the date and the cabana number that we booked. And guess what? All the other cabanas were booked for the day. They would not just offer me a refund. Instead, they made me wait in the hot sun for an hour while they tried to sort it out. They finally gave me another cabana on the other side of the wave pool that they could not rent out because the fridge and fan were broken. This cabana also had waiter service, which the one I originally booked did not. I understood that the new cabana they gave me were worth more money and that I had not paid the price to book that cabana - they were essentially giving me an upgrade that I didn’t request. However, you’d think that due to the inconvenience of me standing around for an hour waiting for them to sort it out they would’ve at least allowed the servers to service us in the upgraded cabana that they gave us, but this was not the case. They went out of their way to specifically tell the service staff that they were not to give us a cabana menu, and that they under no circumstance where to serve us. How petty. To provide service would’ve been the least they could have done for making us wait around for an hour. Besides the experience with the cabanas, the whole place was disgusting. The washrooms were disgusting. The showers were disgusting. And going over the bridge to the wave pool (which was not working) smelled absolutely disgusting - like there was a sewer back up or something. I will certainly never be coming back here and I would not recommend anyone to bring their family here.

Very disappointing experience from start to finish. The staff was rude—from the entrance gate all the way through the park. There was no communication or helpfulness from anyone. The water looked filthy and smelled like a mix of throw-up and sewer—honestly, it felt unsafe and unhygienic. They’ve been out of ice since Saturday, which is unacceptable in this heat, and everything inside the park is extremely overpriced for what you get. On top of that, they didn’t even have the 2025 All Season Souvenir Bottles. I took my family hoping we would all have a fun day together, but unfortunately, we ended up leaving early. The park was extremely overcrowded, nothing was organized, and the entire experience was stressful and chaotic. Overall, it was not worth our time or money. My family and I will not be returning, and I recommend others to save their time and go elsewhere.

Everything has gone downhill ! Not one employee smiled, they treated us like we were a burden … I’ve bought my kids passes for many years they’re now 12,13,17 and I pay for passes for their friends and myself and mother we buy food passes too . They took the snacks off the food passes , you have to wait 4 hrs to get your next meal in between the 2 and you know kids get hungry at different intervals when in heat and water … then you don’t get a cup for buying an all year dining pass but get one when you buy a one day dining pass . Many rides would stop one kid from riding without a life jacket that we ride twice already and no one said a word . Then a group in front of us went with a child way under and they stopped us to go get a jacket and ours could ride while that kid was in the red and still rode! You can buy dip n dots for $5 or less at a store and it’s more than 10 for a mini one …. They also removed turkey legs off the meal passes .. it’s just not with the thousands we have spent and the amount of big rides is just sad 😔 also please teach your teenage employees to be nicer to disabled children

We had high hopes for a fun day at Hurricane Harbor, but it turned out to be a major letdown. First off, parking was a nightmare—poorly organized, long waits, and a total mess just to get in. The lazy river was absolutely gross. There was trash floating around, including used band-aids—seriously disgusting. Trying to get food was beyond frustrating. I had to stand in three separate lines—one to pay and then two more to actually get different items. Who thought that was a good system? Drinks were also insanely overpriced. The park was way too overcrowded. There were so many people that the lazy river felt more like bathwater than a refreshing float. Lines were long everywhere—you easily spend more time waiting than actually enjoying anything. Overall, this place needs a serious overhaul in cleanliness, organization, and crowd control. Not worth the time, stress, or money.

Don’t recommend wearing your fav shoes or any cute shoes. My crocs that had a bunch of croc charms and were my favorite were stolen and I couldn’t get them back. I recommend wearing simple basic sandals that don’t attract attention of a thief. Sadly I had to go home shoeless.

PLEASE READ TO SAVE YOURSELF FROM IRRITATION: Edit 7/23 As always, something seems to make sense so they've stopped doing the fair, sensible thing with NO notice or opinions from us, the patrons, paying that water bill, paying for those mansions, feeding their kids or putting their kids thru school. They've not only stopped reservations for parking AND pool side seating but it's now 1st come, 1st serve with a VERY TINY section of seats, roughly 20, elevated AWAY from the water. Now, the entire area in front of the wave pool IS EXTRA. I mean extra like $60 PER SEAT OR $1000 PER 2 STORY BAMBOO CABANA!! what a joke. We've held our memberships for over 10 years and recommended to hundreds throughout the decade to 'go and give em another shot but upgrade your status. TRUST ME.'. well, I've been made a liar out of. PLEASE KEEP YOUR MONEY AND FIND SOMEPLACE THAT'LL RESPECT YOUR $1 OR $1K. Because this is not the place you want to always feel the need to research how much the policies have changed before a visit... It's supposed to be fun and making memories NOT MIGRAINES. ..... (The following is the OLD review - good ol days) Having diamond elite passes allows you to reserve parking near the door and reserve seating in VIP section which is fantastic!! You don't hafta worry about renting lockers and the seats are shaded or in full sun directly at the entrance of the wave pool. There definitely needs to be more than one attendant for this area because the one attendant that checks your name on the list and gives you your bracelet for reentry can't mandate all sides of this section. There are too many people that will sneak in through the ropes or are constantly cutting through the VIP section.

Hurricane harbor Arlington is the worst water park experience I have ever had. This year the park has gone down the drain. Entering the parking area and getting inside was fast and easy. Once inside that where this harbor begins to dry up. One of the staples of any water park is their lazy river. At Hurricane Harbor the lazy river was closed but soon we would find out it wasn't just the river. As we were walking through the park over half the slides were closed as well. How can a park charge full price for less than half the experience. But as you can imagine with so many rides being closed it caused everyone to cram onto what was open. Causing lines in excess of 2 hours long. When you're in 100 degree temperature, 2 hours and you can start to feel dizzy while trying to walk up stairs. Overall, I would not recommend coming here to anyone for now, as the experience is lacking. Also the restrooms could use some remodeling. Broken handles, and sinks not working are unacceptable when we are paying premium prices.

Zero customer service skills, from "management" included. Most experiences here have made it clear that none of the employees enjoy their job and none of them want to help you. There are a few friendly employees who do a good job, but they seem rare. EVERYTHING is as dirty as it can be.. the water was BAD. Bathrooms are terrible. Trash everywhere. The place is also in serious need of an update. The concrete burns your feet and it's painted stupid colors that only make the issue worse. Your feet already get raw walking on concrete. Why aren't there more sprinklers to keep the ground wet? There are areas where the ground is soft, like the bridges..why isn't the whole park covered with this stuff? Get it together guys. Put some of those ticket sales back into your park. It's looking sad and rusty. One day we were here, a lifeguard told my brother not to swim to the bottom of the wave pool because he "can't tell if he's drowning." Lol... really? Idk maybe you aren't all that qualified to be a lifeguard... Only one side of the black hole was opened multiple times that we went. Lines can take up to an hour. (Better get ready to shell out 25$ per person for flash pass to bypass lines) The first time we went was a Wednesday (may 30th), not all school's were even out and it was still very crowded. As a final warning, DO NOT wear anything valuable, even if just valuable to you. I lost a couple of bracelets that had a LOT of sentimental value. I wish I had taken them off but I never have before- so it didn't even occur to me. It's like second skin to me. I spoke to an employee about it and they told me to ask someone at the end of the day, that they dive to get lost items then. We were not planning to spend all day in the park.. but we did JUST in hopes of getting my bracelets back. At the end of the day, a woman, who someone else referred to as "kind of a manager here," who had also told me earlier that they would dive to look for items at the end of day, refused to look for my bracelets, claiming she had dived in the area to look for items "30 minutes ago," and had not found anything matching the description. However I had been sitting in the area near the place I lost my bracelets for around an hour and a half before the park closed. I knew for a fact she had not been in there at any point recently. Instead of helping me or looking, she directed me to security and guest services who she said would have items she turned in. I went to guest services who sent me to security who then claimed NOTHING had been turned in. Another employee I spoke to actually said "well, it's hurricane harbor, people aren't wanting to make an effort" when I told him that security said nothing had been turned in after he too, claimed things had been turned into security. I never got my bracelets back.
