Opinions de Mariano's Hacienda Arlington
I came here on a business meal and it was great, i got the brisket tacos and they really put every other taco in the area to shame; i couldn't enjoy another taco place while i was there. Their salsa has some nice spice to it and the beans and rice were great. I got the Mariano drink and it wasn't my cup of tea but i enjoyed it none the less. If i find myself in the area again, Marianos will be one of my first stops
Had a little reunion with a couple friends. Food was great, wait staff phenomenal. Sooo glad we chose Mariano's for our time together. Thank you!
Always the best Mexican restaurant I know. The service is good and the food is even better! They have a great smokey flavor to everything they cook
We had a great experience. Our server was very nice and attentive and the food was great. The top shelf margarita wasn't as flavorful as I would have liked, but it was worth the purchase. I like to taste lime or a little agave for a little flavor, but it just didn't have that. The sangria swirl was much more to my liking. My overall experience was great. I would definitely go back.
I judge Mexican restaurent by there salsa. This restaurent had not only salsa delicious but food was amazing. Service was great fast and good food. Atmosphere was great and people that worked were friendly. There chicken Verdi was very flavorful and delicious. I will sure come here again soon! All food item are very high priced or maybe overpriced 😱
Updated Review: Outstanding as always - beef fajitas that will change your life! So I've been eating here well over a decade and can say without a doubt these are the best fajitas anywhere in Texas, possibly the world. Be aware of the new limited hours. It appears they are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays but save for this inconvenience. You want no strike that you need to eat here!
Dad's award winning chili sauce was really a winner!! Both my sister and I loved the beef for me, and cheese enchiladas. It was chilly in there, not anything to complain about though. My son and his wife are due soon, so we enjoyed showering them with a few things for our new baby girl in June.
Great Fajita combo. Mariano Dip is perfection. Daniel was the consummate waiter, attentive and incredibly polite. Mexican Martini was the perfect accompaniment to our delicious meal. Grandson is a food processing beast and devoured his Mac n cheese, fries, a bowl of chopped tomatoes and everything else left on the table. Outside seating looks very inviting for our next outing. 2/28/26 update: Loved the outdoor seating area. The Calico pest control was a big hit. Address was empty at 5pm, but filled up quick. The Mariano Margarita delivers the perfect balance of tequila and lime juice. Perfectly made guacamole. The warm salsa has just the right levels of roasted flavors. Stuffed jalapeños with cream cheese and the others with chicken have us the perfect evening snack.
First time going here just looking for a place to eat tacos. Was blown away. I live nearby and never heard of this cool little hole in the wall. Their drinks look amazing but i dont drink that early often so gonna have to go back for sure. But the brisket tacos were delicious and my gf loved her enchiladas!
First time here and I really enjoyed everything. Staff was great food was awesome atmosphere also was amazing. Maybe a little pricey but what isn't now adays. I will definitely go back again. Try this place you will be glad that you did.
This place is a 1,000,000 out of 10!!! I just ate the best shrimp of my entire life (Carlos and Charlies on the menu)! Everyone at my table absolutely loved their meals. Our server, Oscar, was great too. The decor and music are super fun! What a cool place. You will not be disappointed if you choose Mariano's!
👌 Absolutely delicious. Everything was amazing, from the chips & salsa, to the torpedoes, to the Pauncho Villa and brisket tacos. Inviting atmosphere, very clean restrooms and tables/floors, super friendly staff, food was out hot with very little wait, portions were large and very filling, and most of all why I eat out - every bite was delicious. Highly recommended.
It was a beautiful day, and my family and I went to lunch still celebrating my Auntie birthday. I had the chicken enchiladas, and we also had beef enchiladas ,tacos, and fajitas platter. The food was excellent, and the people there were very friendly, nice, and courteous, and the waitress was helpful, and her recommendations were on point. Nowadays, it's hard to get great food, great service, and a smile .I give this place two thumbs up, and I will be telling others about this great experience. Keep up the good work 👏
Love this place would give 6 stars if I could I went with my wife its now our favorite Mexican restaurant 😋 fast and 10 out of 10 on the taste I was vary impressed to say the least
Mariano's Hacienda Ranch has been around for years. It is the best Mexican food around, in my opinion. Prices are a little high but, you get what you pay for.
Very nice clean restaurant with some of the best fajitas I've had in the twin cities area. The steak was fall apart tender, and very flavorful. The chicken was just as good and tasted great. The shrimp though... it is hard to find a place that doesn't overcook shrimp, and this place does it perfect. All in all 5 stars my wife already told me we will be returning.
First time eating here and so glad we took a chance. The wait staff was kind and attending and very helpful. The food was probably the best Mexican food I have had in a long time. The jalapeno torpedoes I highly recommend. Crunchy juicy cheesy and everything you want in a fried jalapeno. Everything is seasoned with wonderful flavor and is not being hidden by too much salt. Also the seven vegetable medley was cooked to perfection and it was so wonderful to have such a variety of vegetables. Give this restaurant a chance and you will not regret it.
The food was delicious and the salsa was served right away with fresh tortilla chips. They had a spicy cold salsa and a milder salsa served warm. Both were amazing. I had fish tacos and it was served with veggies. The fish was cooked perfectly and not fried! I don't eat fried food and most places serve up a fried fish plank. Not these guys. So so yummy
Nice spacious Mexican restaurant. Food is flavourful and presentation is very nice. They have kids menu as well. Server was nice and friendly. We visited them on sunday and get dessert on half price which was really cheery on top. I'll recommend to try Texas torpedos from appetizer section it was really good.
8 people had Sunday birthday lunch total tab was $300 but we had appetizers drinks and full entrees so it was a great value especially for the great quality of the food and servers. Only thing negative is they don’t do anything to celebrate a birthday, no more sombrero and HBD song like they used to do. And they do not sell any desserts except fried apple pie, no sopapillas or churros. Excellent food, but lacks entertainment atmosphere.
Best Mexican Restaurant period. I'm from San Diego and of course been to tons of Mexican places and this place is awesome. Atmosphere is top notch and service is excellent. Everything off the menu is done right and delicious. When it comes to margaritas they do it legit. No mix, lime juice ,tequila, and triple sec. Their salsa is amazing and the warm one is fantastic. Often you have to wait but so worth it. Every time I visit Dallas I'll be here.
We enjoyed our lunch at Mariano's Hacienda Ranch. First, we started with chips, salsa, and queso. Their salsa was deliciously roasted, and their queso was mixed with beef, tomatoes, guacamole, and sour cream. Then came our meals. I had the Spanish-style Enchiladas, which featured chicken topped with green tomatillo sauce, which was delicious. Other times, I have had the Chicken Enchiladas, which feature chicken and some jalapenos to add a spice. That was delicious as well. In short, our meal was delicious and we will definitely be coming back here.
This is my favorite resturant. They have phenomenal fajitas, the table side quac and Texas torpedoes! Lets not forget the margaritas. I cant say enough about the stellar service we receive eveytime we go. This place is legendary.
If there was a restaurant ordained by God to serve his people then this would be it. Every bite was heavenly. The people who work at this beautiful venue deserve to be commemorated in the halls of fame. You can feel the love of the game, love of the craft, love of the art from everyone there. It’s a place of beauty. If you’re visiting Dallas next June for world cup games then make sure you eat here.
My brother, dad and I were in town for a weekend (mainly to watch the Dallas Cowboys on sunday as my dad is a diehard fan). We hopped on Google reviews and Yelp and saw that this place was HIGHLY rated with 500+ aggregate reviews on both platforms so we had to check it out. We hadn't made reservations beforehand so we were slightly concerned that it would be a long wait (arrived around 8pm-ish). Luckily, this particular location is pretty big and the wait wasn't too long at all. Maybe like 10-15 min? We were seated in a booth and looking over the menu, the mexican food looked super authentic. We ordered carne asada, flautas, a grilled steak fajita salad and brisket tacos. Literally 2 minutes after ordering, fresh warm nachos arrived at the table w/ 2 salsas (a red and brown one). I love that we were able to snack on these before the food arrived. The carne asada was probably my fave. The proteins at this resto are cooked really well. We were never asked how we wanted our steak cooked but it just arrived medium rare on the plate (which is perfect). Super juicy, tender and seasoned aggressively. The refried beans were so smooth and the portion sizes were nice and big. We also ordered some of their famous frozen margaritas. Quite strong but very tasty! At the end of our meal we asked our server Ashley to pack our leftover nachos and salsas on the table in a to-go bag for us and she instead came back with a to-go bag full of FRESH, WARM NACHOS with some new salsas for us to take home. This was incredible customer service. The to-go bag also had a clip on it to keep the nachos crispy (I was still snacking on them in the hotel room 2 days later)! All of us were eyeing the hot apple pie w/ ice cream that arrived at a neighbouring table but alas, we were way too full to stomach any dessert lol. Authentic food, amazing service and nice, strong drinks. Definitely a place that lives up to every bit of the hype! Will definitely be back in the future!
We have lived in Arlington for over 30 years and had no idea any other Tex-Mex restaurants could remotely compete with our favorites. Wow!! We were so wrong! This spot is our new favorite. The atmosphere was very upbeat and lively. Let's get to the service. Erica, our waitress, has been at the Arlington location for 12 years and provided excellent service. We had the tableside guacamole and tortilla soup for starters. Both are very good and generous portions! The tortilla soup was a whole tableside presentation in itself. It seemed to have a whole chicken breast (shredded) along with half of a large avocado (sliced), with so many other veggies. It was enough for 2-3 people to share! If you are a fan of Carne Asada, you will not be disappointed! It was very tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection! (Our preference was medium). The bacon wrapped shrimp!! Oh my!! They were ridiculous good! We enjoyed both cheese and beef enchiladas. And the swirl was so smooth and delicious! You definitely want to order one (or 2) of these!😋 Be prepared to have a designated driver. We were offered dessert of apple pie with ice cream! Unfortunately, we were too full to order anything else.
Excellent! Everything about this place was great! Our server Erika, was super sweet and helped me create a vegetarian dish from menu items. The portions were huge! The salsas did not disappoint. Try the roasted one with a bit of the queso on a chip. You’ll be happy you did. I only wish I got a frozen margarita.
If you don't love Mexican (authentic) food then this may not be your spot. we fancy ourselves to be connoisseurs of Mexican food so we take in the entire experience. We went early afternoon Friday so it wasn't busy and we were tended to promptly. The menu isn't expansive, but it doesn't need to be because you get FULL and its fresh and delicious! The 2 salsas were sooooo good. Usually with fajita plates you get more vegetables than meat and a few tortillas, not HERE. We got more meat and like a pack of tortillas! The pina colada was okayyyand the happy hour wasn't the happiest lol, but we will be returning for more foooood.
It doesn't look like much from the outside but a lot of times those are the best kind of places. No grand entrance, nothing really calling me in, and I'll admit first impression wasn't great. I came here on recommendation from a friend. The server was just ok but the food was awesome. The carnitas were muy delicioso and the stuffed shrimp were very good!
My first time at this restaurant and wow, what a wonderful surprise! My husband picked it because I was craving a good margarita, and let me just say, it did not disappoint. We went on a Wednesday evening, were seated immediately (no wait at all!), and from the very start everything moved so smoothly. Honestly, I think this was the fastest service I’ve ever experienced, in the best way! Our drinks came out before I even finished looking at the appetizers, and the food followed within minutes. But the real star of the evening was our waitress, Andrea. She was absolutely phenomenal , so sweet, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful. I ordered the tortilla soup (which was delicious!), but I found myself wishing it came with a little cheese. Andrea let me know the cheese they had wasn’t the best fit for the soup… but then a few minutes later she surprised me by going back into the kitchen to hunt down a better option! That extra effort honestly made my night, it’s rare to come across service that thoughtful and caring. Just for that she deserves a raise! 😆 The food was fantastic, the margaritas hit the spot, and Andrea truly went above and beyond. We left so happy and will definitely be coming back both for the food and because of the amazing service. Big shoutout to Andrea for making our first visit such a great one!
Such a cute, bright space! They had a "gluten-friendly" menu (I don't want to be friendly with gluten honestly!). The food I ordered made me happy and I had zero reactions. I will be back!
Best fajitas in the metropolitan! Can't even speak to anything else on the menu because they're so good I refuse to order anything else. Even the vegetarian fajitas are great. I am not usually a fan of restaurant margaritas, but Mariano's does a FANTASTIC margarita, both frozen and on the rocks. Even the chips and salsa are better than you can find at any other TexMex restaurant.
Randy treated us like royalty. He was happy to get anything we needed. We enjoyed dinner and he gave awesome recommendations! He was excellent!!! We lacked for nothing while we were there! The table side guacamole was worth the entire visit and Randy made a great show of preparing it. I wanted to lick the dish. It says two can share, but three of us felt like we got plenty. We each got a Marianos to drink. It was definitely strong! I couldn't finish mine and someone else at my table happily did. They were pretty happy by the end of the night! The food was amazing too. It's going to be hard to find a mexican restaurant in Arlington to beat Mariano's. I'm sorry I haven't tried it before now. Definitely worth the price tag. Ask for Randy. He makes a great meal into a stellar experience!
The fajitas were absolutely amazing! Definitely the best I have had in a long time. Definitely on the high price but worth it. The salsa is absolutely amazing! Also the fresh chips and the extremely flavorful spicy salsa is definitely worth checking out!
We celebrated my oldest daughter’s birthday today with a wonderful family dinner. The food was absolutely delicious, and our waiter was very friendly and attentive, which made the evening even more enjoyable. They only had one dessert option (apple pie with ice cream and bourbon sauce) but it was definitely worth ordering. It was the perfect sweet ending to a special celebration.
As advertised this is a great place to stop to get your Mexican flavor of foods. With a wonderful atmosphere when you walk in and plenty of seating. The menu is pretty straightforward and very easy to read. Don’t worry about the portion size it’s plenty! The food flavors and excellent!!! Make sure to stop and add this place to your destination if you like Mexican food. Well worth it!!!
The absolute best carne asada I've ever had!!! Server was fantastic as well. They have great salsa and we have never had bad meal her when visiting Dallas.
Excellent food, flavor, portions and presentation. It's the first time I have been here. I selected this place for a business meeting after reading reviews. It is some much better than I expected from the surrounding area. The ambiance was very pleasing and easy on the soul. It just felt authentic from the decor to the lighting to the staff. There is plenty of parking as well. The service was great and the prices moderate. I ordered the brisket tacos and I must say, they were absolutely amazing. There could be a little more meat in them, but the flavor was outstanding. The rice had a good texture and authentic flavor. The refried beans were served in a little crisp tortilla bowl, which I found quite appealing. The chips are just the right thickness and not greasy. Let's not forget about the salsa that is a perfect blend of spice and tang. Some of the best I've had. I am looking forward to visiting this place again. In fact, I think I might take the family on Sunday.
I’ve known of this restaurant for over 20 years and never tried it until today, and WOW, have I been missing out! The place had great ambiance, fresh corn tortillas, great service and awesome food! The spicy queso had quite a kick but was hard to stop eating. The carne asada was extremely tender and easy to chew even when I accidentally cut it with the grain. The bacon wrapped shrimp stole the show though, I could have eaten a dozen of them. The bacon was extremely crisp, it was stuffed with cheese and a sliver of jalapeño but was not spicy and they were huge. I had the mar y Tierra and my wife had the surf and turf both had the shrimp. My daughter had chicken tenders which were extra crispy and she enjoyed very much. This one will definitely get worked into our rotation!
I had never been here but my husband sweated by it so we went tonight. I got the burrito and it was AMAZING!! The server was on his game and very nice! Recommend 10 out of 10!! Will definitely go back.
My sister recommended this restaurant while we were in Arlington for the state high school football games... Outstanding Delicious Perfect are words I am using to describe my experience!! We had chips and queso for an appetizer and I had the cheese and onion enchiladas, rice and charro beans EVERYTHING WAS EXCELLENT!!! Cannot wait to go back! Highly recommend this restaurant!!
This place is a 5 star all across. Came here for the first time, ha been wanting to come but the location is not the most convenient. Regardless, no regrets. I came on a Friday night, and felt welcomed. They were busy and vibing 👌 Had to sit at their patio because the weather here in Texas is finally cooling off. Their chips and salsa were delicious 😋… they do offer an option for a spicier salsa that’s $3.00 was not happy about that but couldn’t leave without trying it. It was okay., I did love the chunky es of it and the smoky flavor but it definitely needed some me garlic and salt in my opinion. I ended up taking it home and adding those two ingredients and perfection 😋 I had one of the mixed plates with an Enchilada, a crispy taco 🌮, rice and beans 🫘 🍚 and their frozen swirl. I really enjoyed my time there, my server was amazing and answered all my questions. They do have 4-6 Happy Hour and special price drinks on Wednesday and Thursday for their swirl Parking was crowded but accessible and it is family friendly despite of the shady area it’s located at since there is a strip club across from it. I definitely recommend this restaurant and will be back myself.
First time visit heading to a Dallas Cowboys game. Parking was easy, located this place based on Google reviews. The place seems somewhat busy at 2:00 p.m. on a Saturday, but service was quick and friendly. Drink order and chips and salsa or served promptly. Had the brisket tacos with dipping juice and the loaded queso and everything was delicious. Mariano's is famous for inviting the frozen margarita machine and the margarita was on point. Atmosphere and decor was kind of old style restaurant which I actually enjoyed a lot. Will definitely be back here when in Arlington Texas again.
From the outside, the restaurant looks homey and upscale, and the inside continues with that assumption. A gorgeous, authentic looking interior. Staff are friendly and attentive, and were more than happy to provide me with a takeaway container and plastic cutlery for me to take food back to my hotel. The food itself is authentic and good, not, “knock your socks off”, but certainly acceptable for this restaurant. I will certainly come back and tell friends and family about this place.
Mariano's was a pleasant surprise! I spotted in for lunch and the restaurant was very busy! As busy as they were though, the food still came out fast, hot, and delicious! Of course there was chips and salsa while you wait. Dig into the darker Chipotle Salsa, it has a smoky depth that you won't find in most typical restaurant salsas. Both salsas were delicious but it's the Chipotle Salsa that will bring me back. Also, try the hot apple pie! The dessert is an entire experience into itself. You'll have to try it to believe it, it's awesome!
We just stopped by for a drink and a couple of appetizers. Everything was really good! And their decor is colorful and festive. Price was on par with quality of the food and drink, and everything was bought out quickly, so the service was great. It's worth a visit if you're in the area.
Erika was amazing and very attentive! Food was delicious and arrived extremely fast, Cheese enchiladas with the sundace queso 1000/10

We found Mariano’s customer-centered rather than self-centered. They cared about me! My husband thought I was insane when I told him I planned to order the blackened chicken without rice and beans …
Great ambient and the service was very good. Ordered the fajita nachos and beef fajita combo and of course have to try the margarita. The food was alright, nothing special. Had better food at other tex mex restaurants.
Traveled to Dallas, and the body was craving steak, however, had a bad experience with the place i went to initially and Googled restaurants"near me." Mariano's Hacienda came up, looked at the ratings, etc, and decided to give it a try. This was Tex-Mex food. First of all, the structure outside is clean and well maintained, and there's a sign claiming the first ever frozen margarita anywhere. Upon entering, it was quite busy, dinner time, and no reservations were required. I put my name on the waiting list and went directly to the bar while i waited. The bar area was small, with about 7-8 stools. Decided to have dinner there rather than in the dining room. Both bartenders were pleasant, professional, and definitely on the go. Especially because they had to tender to their area as well as dining room orders. Was served chips and salsa both mild and also with a little kick to it. I tried the house margarita on the rocks, generally no salt, and they recommended to order it w "tajin" some sort of red all purpose seasoning. I didn't like it. It's used more for cooking. Ordered a regular margarita.... Anyway, to start, i ordered the steak/ chicken nachos combo. The chips are large and filled with yellow/white cheese, tender steak/chicken strips accompanied with guac, carrots, pickled jalapeños, and sour cream. Delicious, well cooked, with the right seasoning. Good enough for 2 people. For the main course, i went with the fish tacos. Succulent, soft, no bones, accompanied with rice, cabbage/ lettuce, sautéed peppers, and a large sautéed jalapeño. The fish meat can't say it enough, AWESOME!!. I was already full, especially since i kept eating the chips/salsa from the start. A bit addictive. They were crunchy, and the salsa made a nice marriage to them. I was impressed with the food that i returned the next day to try the brisket tacos with the gravy on the side. Ridiculously tasty, and the brisket was shredded, tender, and the gravy was not thick at all enough to dunk the taco in or serve it on top inside the taco It came with rice, corn tortillas, a heap of beans in a small shell, and avocado. Didn't get to try any appetizer. One thing is certain in the 2 days i visited, the food is undeniably fresh, and tasty keeps anyone coming back for more. The service at the bar was slow, and i don't blame the bartenders because they were on the go. This caused my experience to be a 4.4. They were courteous and professional. I don't know how the dining room service is, but it's always busy. Fresh food, come and have some!
Tasty authentic Mexican! I found them on the internet and I got curious to try their offerings. The chip and dip was good (mild and hot), and enchiladas with a couple coronas. The only downside is getting they because there is a lot of road construction around the theme park area where the restaurant is located. If you don’t mind the extra traffic, it’s a good place to dining- good food, good atmosphere with ample parking.
You receive a really good size portion of chips and two different salsas before you start your meal. I did order the queso and chips for an app and they were far superior chips. Not sure why the make two different kinds but much preferred the appetizer kind. Food was good but nothing to rave about. Same for the margaritas, I was expecting amazing for being “the worlds first frozen margarita” but they were small portions and very heavy on the tequila. It was hard to drink the whole thing
Food was good. Pricey but good. Drinks were good. Not the best part of town it seems. The only improvement would have been the waitress. She never smiled the entire time and wasn't very pleasant to interact with. Service needs improvement. This was our first time here. 4 stars because our waitress wasn't pleasant.
Mariano's Hacienda Ranch was a delicious experience. I arrived at about 830 on a Saturday night and it was packed. I only had to wait 10 minutes for a table. Typical wait time is between 30-45 minutes for a group. The steak and chicken fajita combo was sizzling fantastically. The lemonade was ok, the black beans were a pass up of refried beans, would've been better whole. Good portion throughout with fresh ingredients. The highlight for me was the fire roasted salsa served with the chips. Absolute FIRE. The service was short staffed. Took maybe 20 minutes to be noticed at my table.. Offered refill of my drink as I was leaving, instead of mid meal. Will definitely be returning non the less. Eat here. Enjoy yourself. Make good memories.
I have been to this restaurant a handful of times now and I keep coming back for several reasons. The service, beef fajitas & the spicy queso dip. The service is always very attentive. We have been there twice & asked to be moved to another table due to the coolness of the ac. I'm sure we won't ask this in the summer. The beef fajitas are melt in your mouth and are hands down the BEST in Texas. The queso dip spicy or regular is so good and I don't know if it's the hot, fresh tortilla chips or tye queso and 2 different salsa dips, but who cares. The combination is always great. This time we tried the Texas torpedo, we were not a fan. We will be back and you should join us.
Food was good. Drinks were very poor quality taste was very off not sure if the tequila or liquor they use is very cheap but , this is not the place for alcoholic drinks. Our waitress was very friendly and great service. Definitely 5 stars for her.
It was a first time visit for me and I really enjoyed it. The food was really good. I got the sour cream enchiladas and they were soooo good. The chips and dip they give is an added addition that I enjoyed as well. The server was attentive and very nice. The only issue I had was the napkin and silverware was dirty. And there was a bone in the chicken which I can definitely overlook, but not dirty forks and napkins.
Best sour cream enchiladas!! The micheladas are also very good and spicy! CAN NOT go wrong with the surf and turf my husband loved it!! Service was amazing our server was very pleasant and checked on…
A great place for Fajitas and margaritas. They say they are the creator of the frozen margaritas. Table side guacamole was big enough to share with the whole table. We order the fajita feast for one …
Had the brisket tacos and sooo good. Can't wait to come back. Everything looked great on fellow diner's plates too. Service was a little slow during the lunch rush.

Home of the original frozen margarita machine! From the margarita menu to the colorful lights to the house-made queso, Mariano's is about as classic Tex-Mex as it gets. Big comfy booths, table-si…
Food was great especially the hot sauce! I had the brisket tacos with grilled vegetables, which was very good. Server was attentive. My only problem was it was very loud.
The Mexican food at this restaurant was very tasty. The red salsa was way too hot for me and I’m Cajun and used to hot spicy foods. I couldn’t eat it. The margarita top shelf was fabulous. Our hostes…
Good authentic Mexican food with fast and courteous service. Reasonable prices and a nice atmosphere for anyone interested in real Mexican food

Had a very nice lunch there today. Service was very fast, and friendly. The complimentary chips and salsa was a nice gesture, and my tacos were very good. Beautiful interior decor too!
"You have to catch them on the right night. On Saturdays, when they’re really busy, the food quality isn’t as good as it is during slower times. I went on a Thursday, and the water tasted filtered, but on Saturday it seemed like it came straight from the faucet. The food on Thursday was hot, fresh, and served quickly; on Saturday, it took longer and came out lukewarm—not as flavorful. The drinks are pricey; they say it’s because they’re double shots, but my drinks ended up costing more than my meal. Still, the food’s good—if you go on the right day." I always separate my drinks from the meal.
I think people love this place for the atmosphere. I ordered the nachos and it came with 4 small nachos.
Love the food but the fact that they don't do reservations on weekends meant that our birthday group of 10 ended up outiside which was okay but not great. took 15 minutes after being seated to get our drink order in and a further 30 minutes to get our food order in. we almost never saw our server unless he was doing something else like move tables for another group on the porch. the food was good as expected but I would not take a large group there again.
I was disappointed with my experience. When we walked in, the restaurant had a very unpleasant smell almost like a mix of stale grease and sour odors that reminded me of vomit. It made the atmosphere uncomfortable from the start. The napkins were cloth, but they had a strange smell as well, almost like old grease or something that hadn’t been washed properly. Our waiter (Javier) was very young and unfortunately inattentive. We had to wait quite a while for service and didn’t feel very taken care of during the meal. Overall, the odor in the restaurant and the lack of attentive service made it hard to enjoy the experience. I hope management addresses these issues because the place has potential but needs improvement.
I haven’t been in a long time. Unfortunately it wasn’t as good as I remember. Seating was a little wonky and food was pretty meh. I hate having to say that. But there’s better Mexican food in Arlington .
The atmosphere and service are wonderful! The food is fresh but this place advertises themselves as a Mexican restaurant. They definitely aren't Mexican. It is very American food. I've had food closer to Mexican at chili's. The cheese dip is just watered down melted Velveeta cheese. The fajitas are just meat and veggies cooked on a flat top. The fajitas had no seasoning. The one thing I will say is their Chipotle salsa was very good. Overall very disappointing.
Nice place to eat food with you family , but my fork 🍴 was dirty for some people is not a big deal but for some is , I got chips and salsa when I seat down but after that , I waited 17 min for someone to take my order after they took my order it was only 7 mins to get my food ,food was good and they also have home make tortillas. Soda 🥤 taste like heigh on chlorine.
Serverly over priced. Chicken fajitas were charred and bland. Tortillas are store bought, AC was way to cold. Chuys has much better food for half price
Eh the margarita was the bomb. The server was nice friendly n I get it ya get busy but he forgot the Xtra salsa....noooo...the beef fajita meat tasted frozen that was boiled. Not really sure but kinda mush as you put it in your mouth. The enchiladas ( cheese and beef) it was like they were in microwave because hard on ends and soggy in middle. The crispy taco eh loaded with lettuce. The charro beans no charro flavor they weren't cooked charro style. We weren't rude but our waiter left I guess not sure another waitress came to ask us what we had so not sure how they ring up tables but didn't seem very professional. The chips, salsa and margarita is all I would come back for. Sorry Mariano's but my honest opinion. Thanks!
This was our first time here because of a tik tok we saw. We were really excited to try this place. When we got there we were seated but asked if we could get a bigger table, the girl said it’s just y’all 4 right?? I told her yes however we do order lots of food, so she turns and leaves to ask if we could get a bigger table, I didn’t think it was that big of a deal, so we just said never mind we will just sit here. The food was so good and my margarita was strong! My husband even said it was good and he NEVER says something is good when I suggest it. The waitress Ofelia was dry and to the point, what did we want to eat then what did we want to eat, It took while for us to get food which is fine no problem but to get a refill on drinks took a long while, when she finally came back she automatically gave us our ticket so I guess the don’t offer dessert, I told her we need another round of drink which were just soda and water, the sodas were refill and my empty water wasn’t, maybe I should of made it clear I needed a refill too, then she comes back and just grabs the ticket, which the card was not even in there, so I guess she was in a hurry to get us out of there idk, but I’m disappointed because my husband finally like a different restaurant and then this happens. (Mind you they were not busy when we got there)
The customer service was good, but the food and drinks were not. The portion size and flavor didn't match the price that was paid. I would've done better just ordering shots because that's what the cocktails tasted like. This place was over hyped in the reviews.
Our food was pretty good but the service was TERRIBLE. Our waitress was so attentive to the other non African American families to our right and left, however when it came to us, she was completely dismissive, and unfriendly, she literally dropped our food off and walked off, she continuously checked on the table next to us, carrying on, laughing and making small talk with them, while completely ignoring us. Not only until those table left, did she actually fully acknowledge us. I’m guessing she assumed that because we were black, we would tip poorly, but guess what!!?? That has NEVER BEEN US. However in this case, you get what you deserve and I WILL NOT give my hard earned money to someone who clearly views me as undeserving of quality, equal service. Going forward, this establishment needs to do better at training their staff to Treat every family with the same respect and courtesy no matter what STEREOTYPES you feel may pertain to them.
Poor customer service from host and manager . 35 min wait was told I would get a text when our table was ready . Never received a text , was called but my phone blocks unknown numbers . I seen call came through not even seconds later I call back and was told my table was released. They accommodated a table after I complained . Once I received our food, I noticed a big piece of hair . Food quality has definitely decreased. For the prices not worth it . Even if I were to be starving I will not be coming back to this place after such a bad experience.
Our experience is always good. Food, service and atmosphere is excellent. I came here to talk about our last experience. My husband left his credit card there on Sunday February 15, 2026. We could not retrieve it until Wednesday because the restaurant is closed on Monday and Tuesday. Someone that works there has used our card to make a $300 purchase online with BestBuy. We reported that purchase to our bank. Since then they have tried to purchase more from BestBuy, Ebay, TMobile and many others. A simply mistake should not turn into a crime.
First time here, after visiting La Hacienda Ranch (which is an extension of this restaurant) we were looking forward to the same great experience. Definitely not the case. No homemade flour tortillas and the tortillas we got were cold and not good. We ordered a queso for appetizer, never got it. Our server had to be called to attend our table, she wasn’t busy, as we saw her standing across from us multiple times, for long periods of time. After food was served we weren’t checked on, at one point we had to call a different server to help us. Not a good experience. Food was fine, nothing special, other than the grilled cheese my daughter got!
