Went in for the great BOGO KC Chiefs deal. Has two chicken tacos and they were great. They’ve updated their chicken so that it has less liquid grease on it and it’s still as good as usual. I really like the new order machines. This is the best Torchy’s I’ve visited so far and is my number one go to. I’ll be taking advantage of the BOGO for tacos throughout the season. Go Chiefs.

Be is super friendly. This is our go to place for tacos (sometimes twice a week!). Service and staff are top notch. My favorites are the trailer park tacos paired with a sucker punch cocktail.

This is our go to place for tacos at anytime during the day. Food is very tasty with just enough kick to perfection. The chili con queso with a guacamole is always a must with us. Customer service is always on par!! There is always a positive vibe here with its unique look.

DJ IS THE MAN. He hooked us up with some recommendations and put up with our comical ordering experience as first timers and out-of-towners. Best ever customer service. 10/10 highly recommend treating DJ with a smile and a high five! Oh. And the food and frozen Passionfruit marg was DELISH.

The overall experience was good. The food, taste, ambience and EVERYTHING is perfect. Just 2 suggestions…….the tables could have been a bit cleaner and non-stickier. And it would be like cherry over icing if someone atleast for once came and checked upon us if the food was alright. Rest everything was good.

This was the 3rd and final dinner pitstop my brother, dad and I made after the cowboys vs ravens game ended. We're from Canada so we didn't really know the area. I hopped on Google and Yelp for a place that was open late and voila! This place popped up nearby as we kept heading up North Collins St. We wanted to try most of the proteins to see which ones were the best so we ordered: The Tipsy Chick The Hogfather Republican Democrat Mr. Orange Grilled Baja Shrimp My fave was a tie between the Democrat (barbacoa taco) and the grilled baja shrimp taco. The meat in the barbacoa taco was the softest and tenderest. The shrimp taco had the best balance between sweetness of the shrimp and spicy from the sauce. I think my least fave was the Tipsy Chick. The chicken was unfortunately not as moist as I would have liked. It was edging towards dry and there was also a lil bit TOO much cheese in the taco to the point where it was overpowering the taste of everything else (see pic). It was on the pricey side for tacos if I'm being honest (but the tacos ARE also hefty and they aren't shy w/ the protein so ok I'll give it to them). The employee working the register late night on sunday at this location is awesome (I didn't catch his name). He gave us 3 drink cups to go fill up at the drink machine but we only paid for 2 and tried to return a cup back to him but he told us it was ok because he saw that we were eating together and had 3 ppl! Great customer service. They offer corn and flour tortilla choices for patrons AND you can also buy glass bottle mexican coke which is pretty cool. They also sell breakfast tacos but those ones don't look nearly as interesting as the regular taco menu. Overall, very pleasant experience at Torchy's!

This is the most involved Torchy’s Tacos that I have ever been to. It has the accessibility of every other Torchy’s that I have visited, but an increase in quality of service and aesthetic. It has a slight upscale quality compared to that of the others. Not to mention the full bar is a welcome addition that really makes it feel like a complete restaurant. The location also makes it easy to reach and a gorgeous spot to visit.

I really like this location. The food is always delicious but I cannot for the life of me understand the way things are packaged when you order to-go. I never know which sauce is which and what sauce goes with which taco or tots or bowl. It’d be great if they could label the sauce containers, at least. I already have to go hunt down which sauce goes with which by looking up the menu again. Just something to consider since after tonight I don’t think I’ll order to-go from here anymore - only dine-in. Other than this one thing, we really enjoy everything here.

Bold Flavors & Great Vibes Torchy’s Tacos brings the same bold, inventive flavor and energetic atmosphere the chain is known for. The space is casual yet lively, making it a great stop whether you’re dining in or grabbing a quick bite. We kicked things off with the Threesome Dip with chips, and they nailed it—creamy queso, zesty guac, and vibrant salsa, all done right. For tacos, the Trailer Park, Democrat, and Fried Avocado were absolute standouts. Each taco is unique and full of flavor, from savory to spicy to crispy and creamy. For dessert, the churros sealed the deal—crispy, perfectly sweet, and just the right finish. This location has outdoor seating, and the food delivery was fast. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. The facility is clean, including the restrooms, and the entrance faces east. If you’re craving creative, delicious tacos with a side of fun, this Torchy’s should be on your list. I recommend it and will definitely return to explore more.

Been to several Torchys and this one has an upscale vibe. Variety of seating for small or large parties, even an outdoor patio area. I would assume that the drinks are good, considering the bar tender was busy the entire time of my visit. In addition to the bottled sodas, they have a large variety of fountain drinks. The service was great. The individual taking our order was very polite and patient. Overall, a great place to grab a bite and meet with friends or family.

I want to start by saying the food here is consistently fantastic — seriously, no complaints at all on flavor, quality, or consistency. That’s actually why I keep coming back. But the cleanliness of the restaurant is becoming a real concern. Every visit lately, the dining area is noticeably dirty. Chairs, tables, countertops (especially those circular wood ones where the varnish is worn off) are almost always sticky and grimy — even when they look like someone just tried to wipe them down. Floors are often messy, bathrooms aren’t much better, and it’s common to see multiple empty tables still covered with the previous guest’s food, wrappers, and spills even when the restaurant isn’t busy. The ordering kiosks are another issue. They’re regularly covered in fingerprints, grease, and residue, which isn’t exactly appetizing when you’re about to order food. On top of that, customers are encouraged to use those kiosks while staff often stand around instead of helping customers, taking orders, or cleaning the dining area. And honestly, it feels strange being prompted for a tip at the kiosk when customers are placing their own orders, filling their own drinks, cleaning their own tables, and staff mostly just run the food out. That disconnect stands out. Again — the food is excellent, and that’s why I’m giving this feedback instead of just going somewhere else. But the front-of-house cleanliness and overall customer experience seriously need attention. I’d hate to see a great kitchen overshadowed by what looks like poor upkeep outside of it.

Busy place so we ordered togo. Pretty good tacos, 1 per order but they are pretty fully packed. Steak Burrito was disappointing... Tough chunks of meat mixed into cold refried beans and nothing else noticeable inside. Had to fight through the ordering crowd to get the 2 bottled drinks we ordered with our take out order.

Everyone praises this place as having great food. I’m sorry to say I found the food mediocre especially for the price. In my opinion On the boarder has much better food. I want to applaud the guest service however everyone was great.

🌮It's fine. A nice place to hang out with people, but man this place is really popular for what it is... The tacos are okay.. though I have had tastier tacos at different places for Much MUCH cheaper around the area. 🌯 Other than the social situation and the unique look of the building, I don't ever want to return. 🍹Every time I go, I'm always a bit disappointed I didn't do more research to find a mom & pop shop or at the very least, find a chain with more delicious food for my buck

Location, and possible management issue... This reviews is after 4 visits to this specific location. Tables are very sticky, and general food quality is not on par with other locations. Cleanliness is a a problem as well, I see active table wiping but floors and corners dirty. Want to mention, overall workers have been pleasant.

This torches location used to be amazing. My last two visits absolutely not the same. This last visit they have the kiosk to order and pay. credit card processing kept taking long and saying error. Order was charged three times with two different cards. It took 4 people to talk to just to get a manager out to look at what’s going on. Finally they took my order like a normal restaurant no kiosk. Credit Card is charged a total of 4 times for one order. Fix the kiosk or get ride of them. Train staff to actually handle customers.

I will start this off by saying that I have been here dozens of times, and the overwhelming majority of the staff is great; however, one of the bartenders, Ally, has given me a reason to write this review. After ordering a drink at the last minute of happy hour for the second time, in what has probably been 50-100 visits (2-4% of the time), this individual decided that they wanted to create a personal dispute, as I was requesting to receive the Happy Hour 50% off rate for my drink. I was told to "lose the tude", and after they were consulted by their manager, have experienced further disrespect and unprofessionalism. The individual refuses to serve me, and requests their managers to make my drinks. Additionally, the following day, I asked someone if anyone was sitting next to the bar. After they told me no, and I could sit there, Ally took it upon herself to inform me I could not sit at the bar. Those seats were reserved for 2 people who were not there, one of which, never even came. As I knew the one individual, I texted them I was told I could not sit at the bar, because it was reserved for them. Upon arrival, they told me "there is an empty seat right next to me." This isn't the first time I have experienced unprofessional behavior, as the individual in the past has listened to the conversations I have had with my friends, and talked about it with other individuals. Customers should not feel anxious, experience drama, or be disrespected when they are trying to relax after work, and enjoy a drink and a taco. This is completely unacceptable and concerning. I have been to dozens of Torchys, and never have I been treated so rudely, to the point I almost feel uncomfortable walking into the door. Edit: After returning the following week, I was informed by a friend that the bartender stated that if I apologized, it would be good, as they saw me enter the restaurant. I went over to apologize, and before I could even say anything, I was informed I cannot sit at the bar anymore. I spoke to the manager and was told this was a managerial decision directed by the assistant GM. With that being said, I do not feel management is concerned about the disrespect and poor service expressed.

I had the absolute worst experience at this location today at lunchtime. Every employee I interacted with was extremely short and gave off terrible vibes. There was zero attempt to be friendly or welcoming. From the girl who I had to ask to help me at the order kiosk to the guy that brought our food to the table. This was most definitely not one employee having an off day. I wanted to mention it to the manager but I never saw one and was afraid to ask any employee to speak to one because they all looked like they were going to walk out the door at any minute. This kind of treatment and service will ruin this business. It will be a long time before I go back to this location.

The one star is only for the app. This is a great place for the best dam tacos you can get at this price. The people are always friendly and the chips and dips are excellent. Now for the app problem. We tried to eat lunch today on the national taco day bogo promo and could not access the app ( maybe due to overflowing bogo orders? )and now they have gone the ways of others with those self ordering kiosks. The employee on duty was busy due to the promo and we got tired of waiting for help with the non working phone app ( not the employee's fault ) frustrated trying to get the app to work and with a limited lunch break we went back to work without getting our torchys. Yes, we could of just ordered a regular meal, but what's the purpose of a app with discounts and rewards if you can't use them. Living on a budget doesn't mean you can't enjoy a good meal every now and then. And yes, I use this app often..(when it works)....gotta get those reward points.
