Brenda took great care of my husband and I as we celebrated our 24th anniversary! My T-Bone was cooked to perfection!!
This was our first visit here. We were greeted by a very friendly young lady who quickly got us a seat. Our server was Brian and he was absolutely wonderful. He suggested options and gave us his opinions when asked and was so kind and professional. He has provided THE BEST service we have experienced anywhere. The food and drinks were perfect. We will be back!
Went here and wasn't disappointed. My NY strip steak was cooked to perfection (medium rare) while my lady ordered the tenderloin tips and she really enjoyed them. The mashed potatoes were really good but the green beans were kinda salty. Nevertheless, we enjoyed it and Shanice made the event a great one. Definitely would come back again.
The manager came and talked to me and the waiter provided an excellent service. Also of course the steak was amazing and not over priced!
Called in a pick up order this evening. Was told to show up in 15 minutes and it would be ready. I showed up and it was indeed ready. The restaurant was very clean and the young women helping me with my pick up order was extremely helpful and cheerful. My food was prepared just how I asked and it was fresh and delicious! I will be back!!
Great restaurant! Mariela was our server and made us feel so welcome. My steak and baked potato was delicious. It was about as close as I could get to heaven on earth. My family also enjoyed their meals of steak and shrimp. Highly recommend.
The experience in saltgrass was awesome, I love this place so much since my now boyfriend took me here in our first encounter after almost 2 years of no lt seen each other. The attention, the food is amazing, the service is fast and efficient. I tried the grilled pineapple Margarita, and he tried pomegranate mojito. Both drinks are delicious.
Our food and service was outstanding! Our server Matt/Church greeted us and served us with a smile. The manager came over to see that everything was ok and had a nice chat with us. We are from Iowa but if ever back in the area we will definitely be eating here. We haven’t had an enjoyable dining experience for quite some time and this was a breath of fresh air for us. Thank you!
We came here for Valentines dinner and had a couple martinis. Shanice made our night with the best martinis we’ve had in a very long time! Thank you, Saltgrass! 💘
I swore off Saltgrass many years ago after a bad experience (different location). My wife convinced me.to give it another chance and very glad we did. I habe no complaints, and they were very accommodating for a rambunctious toddler.
When my coworker ordered me, herself, and our manager's food, we got it incomplete. But Camden went out of his way to deliver the rest of our lunch to us and for that I highly recommend this place for the dedication to ensuring you get your meal
I have always preferred Saltgrass Steak House when I need a nice tasting steak and always they do not disappoint. I called for a reservation - as I always do but they informed me that they were not very busy and could just walk in. We did and they sat us very fast and the service was exceptional. Will keep going there again and again.
My first experience at saltgrass was wonderful thanks to Ms.Jordyn our waitress. Absolutely beautiful and sweet young lady kept the vibes going with recommendations from the steaks to the drinks she was very knowledgeable. Laughing our entire visit wecouldn't leave with out picking a name for our group #uniquecrew 😄
I love this place! I don’t know how I’ve went this long without trying it. Jerica was our server and she was amazing! Like she is literally the epitome of exceptional service. Not only did I receive great service, the food was SO GOOD! and the portions were large. I couldn’t be more pleased! This is now on my list of favorites. ☺️
My first time here and my husbands 2nd and it was a total pleasure. The good was great, the staff was awesome, we had ethsn would was just amazing and the manager was great too. The starter was just delectable, the mains were mouth watering and just amazing.. We ended up signing up for there rewards card which is great as we'll be going back again and again. The atmosphere was great too, very comfortable and relaxing, nothing was too loud I hate going out for dinner and the music is too loud or the telly, this place was perfect. I definitely recommend it. The menu is such a wide variety with so very much to choose from you'll just wanna try a bit if each better yet keep returning... Great experience at the Saltgrass Steak House.
I couldn't leave texas without having a really good steak. I looked up saltgrass in Google and I must say their rating is earned. Excellent staff and excellent food. I have the steak and shrimp combo, I would highly recommend and will definitely visit again on my next trip to dallas.
This is our second visit to this Salt Grass location within the last month. We are visiting from out of town. Both visits were awesome. Friendly wait staff, food was delicious. Visit from a Manager checking in. Definitely rock star service here!
One of the best steak house at Arlington. Be it a date or a friends day out, it satisfies all mood and vibes. Such a beautiful place with great ambience and amazing food. Got the medium rare steak and it was just perfect, pink on the inside just as I expected. Nicely seasoned and was amazing in taste. The brisket queso was good but the brisket were just a few pieces, expected something generous as described on the menu. But it tasted amazing. The potato soup actually tasted pretty nice. Overall a quality place to enjoy some good food with the near and dear ones. Loved the whole steak dinner experience.
A successful business lunch is a great way to kick off the weekend! The restaurant quickly filled with the lunch crowd and the service was continued to be on point. The food, location, vibe and service were all amazing. Our server Anna was polite, attentive but not overbearing and friendly with a good spirit. While this was a salad kind of day, the various menu options make Saltgrass a good option for soup, salad, burgers, steak or even seafood. Parking is plentiful and if you’re up for a little adventure before or after lunch or dinner, Six Flags is just across the freeway, Globe Life Field and AT&T Stadium are all within a minutes drive.
Excellent food, excellent service, great atmosphere. The high ceilings of this place really makes the inside seem large compared to the others we have been to. It was cold and wet outside, but warm and inviting with a fire on the inside. The drinks, bread and salad were served quickly, and our steaks were served just as we finished the salad. Service really was great.
I give this place 5 stars across the board Everyone was very professional. Great customer service and a great selection of food choices . The food was fresh and the atmosphere is kind friendly. No issues or concerns. Great job Saltgrass 👍🏿👍🏿
Everything was amazing. Camden was such a big help and made sure everything was good from walking in to checking on us through out our visit. Everyone was so friendly with big smiles and good energy. Can’t wait to come back for more!
I've been to this location once before but this time, they really stepped up their game in the best way possible. A patron at a table across from us got sick and started choking. Luckily the staff has someone on board that's training to be an EMT. They took great care of him, as well as me and my boyfriend. This visit was his first time to Salt Grass. Top notch service, great employees, will definitely come back again. Thanks guys!
My 1st time going here. Everything about this place was exceptional. The food was prepared perfectly. We had some of the best service in a long time. U can get steak, seafood, combo meals, soups, salads, excellent appetizers, desserts, etc. Highly recommended 👌
We went today, and we had the most absolute enjoyable meal because of our waiter Terrence! He made sure everything was great, he had a wonderful and funny spirit! We will definitely be back to see our now favorite waiter! I’ll be letting my mother know as well!
By far the best steakhouse I have ever eaten at. They even cook their burgers as requested. I am a rare burger person and I ordered my burger rare. My burger was cooked to perfection and is hands down the best burger I have ever tasted and I have eaten a lot of them (see picture). These burgers are huge and it came rare as requested. Our server Tati was also amazing. The prices are a bit elevated but so is the quality of the food and service so I had no issue with that. You definitely get what you pay for here. My son ordered the ribs and they were fall off the bone and had the most awesome flavor. They also paced our order perfectly and we never waited for our next course nor were we rushed through the course we were on. We will definitely be back. GREAT JOB!!!
Phillip was our waiter and from the beginning the was hands down the best waiter I have had in Texas. His recommendations on food, friendliness and personality would make me want to come back for that alone (not to add food to die for). If you haven’t been I HIGHLY recommend coming here and requesting Phillip. I got the sirloin cooked medium rare with grilled shrimp, loaded baked potato and a side salad and don’t have a single complaint about it. Steak was cooked to perfection (as pictured) and the salad had the perfect amount of dressing. It is hard to find people now days who seem like they enjoy their job but I can honestly say Phillip was a shining star in a now gloomy world.
Overall a great place to eat. Bold flavors house made soups are delicious with the perfect kick of spice. The butter with warm bread along with the super attentive staff is such a welcome and inviting feeling. I do feel the place could be more lit up, the lighting is very dim. I requested lemon and mint for my water and it was given with no issue. This place was the perfect way to end a long day of traveling.
From the second I walked in the door it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The staff greeted me with kindness and sat me in a booth with a great view of the game. I was solo on a business trip by the way. The restaurant was clean all the staff was working like a team and my server Courtney could not have been any better. She was OUTSTANDING! The food came from the kitchen promptly and prepared beautifully just as I ordered. I have grown up around the food service industry as a large franchisee of another brand and this was Truman excellent experience. Thanks again Courtney you were great!
Great steakhouse with excellent food. I've been to this location years ago, and was glad that the experience was just was positive. Service was prompt and friendly. All menu items were great- the ribeyes are delicious and the salads and warm fresh bread were a great start to the meal. Reasonable prices as well. I'd definitely come back.
Very impressed with the cleanliness of the restaurant, the service, the quality of the food, and how reasonable the pricing was. Everything was perfectly cooked and was extremely flavorful. It’s a weird thing to point out, but the green beans were very well done. Like surprisingly good. The only criticism is that the booth we sat in was a little weird (one side was extremely tight, while the other side had almost too much space. The table wasn’t movable, so it was a bit awkward.) 10/10, would recommend to a friend.
Our waiter Jesse was hands down the best!! Gave us super good recommendations and made our part of three feel like we were the only ones in the restaurant! The espresso martini was one of the best I’ve had in the Dfw! The steak was cooked to perfection, and the mac and cheese was a 12/10! Was my first but definitely not my last time!!!
Had a truly wonderful solo dining experience at Saltgrass Steak House in Arlington! The welcome I received was so warm and inviting, which is always appreciated when dining alone. The location is excellent, very easy to get to. And the food was just superb. My steak was cooked exactly as I like it – absolutely delicious. I also treated myself to an 'old fashioned', which was expertly made and a real highlight. My server, Theresa, was fantastic – so attentive and friendly, making for a really comfortable and enjoyable evening. If you're looking for a great meal in Arlington, whether on your own or with company, I highly recommend Saltgrass Steak House.
This was my first time of coming here and I must say it was amazing. The food was fresh, sweet and amazing. Our server Brenda was awesome and gave us good menus options that did not disappoint. Pls check out this place in case you are visiting here for the first time and request for Brenda. You will not regret your experience. I give this place 10/10, clock it!
The porterhouse was cooked perfectly medium rare. It came to me fresh from the grill. Amazingly hot and juicy. I could have waited for it to settle but was too good. The jalapeño covered shrimp was excellent. Service was top notch.
The food was good, steaks were a little thin but cooked well/correctly and had good flavor. Wife thought the breading on the mushrooms had a little spice to them, I didn't really taste it but I thought they were pretty good. Drinks were good as well.
What a great experience we had. The food was so delicious and Kurt cooked perfectly. Our service was amazing. And a manager named Camden came over to make sure that our service was good as well. Introduced himself and was very kind and friendly. We will definitely back be back
We’ve gone to the N Arlington Saltgrass on many occasions, and everything is usually amazing. Our son was celebrating his 14th birthday yesterday and instead of some chain establishment or McDonalds, he asked for Saltgrass! We were so excited. We took a small 6 top with his bestie and couple family and Johnny was our server (I believe the manager was Mike? I’m sorry) and they made it a truly special occasion for our son! This is why we keep coming back. Service was incredible and the food was delicious.
This was excellent service and delicious food. I had steak and shrimp combo with fries, salad and a Blondy. With complimentary bread. Very friendly and professional staff. My dog was allowed to be with me inside the restaurant, so a big thank you for that. Lots of parking, good music. Fast service. Good satisfying food. What else do you need. Totally recommend.
Nothing worse then going into a place after working all day and be greeted by a grumpy staff. Well, this is not what you will find here. I experienced friendly staff and great food. I cant remember the bartenders name but she made a great old fashioned. Top tier work ethic!
Our server was named Hershal also known as Hershey and he was outstanding and was the icing to the cake of this establishment. Not only is he a veteran but also a man of professionalism and his social intelligence is 100% intact. I came here for a special day and he paced outour visit where we had enough time to spend some quality time.
We called ahead. This place is hopping around dinner time. Our server was very helpful. I was surprised when the guy at the table next to us asked for stake sauce. The steak definitely stood on its own. The sides were great the mashed potatoes were a little to seasoned for my liking but the Mac and Cheese was awesome. Nice smokey flavor. One side is most likely enough. I just had a hankering for both. Atmosphere was warm and inviting. Seating was comfortable. Even though the placed was mad busy were were told to relax and take our time. That's was nice because some places want to turn over the tables as quickly as possible and then you just rush through your food. Would definitely eat here again.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Saltgrass Steak House – Arlington, TX If you ever find yourself in Arlington, TX, do yourself a favor and stop over at Saltgrass Steak House. From the moment we stepped in, the aroma of freshly baked homemade bread paired with whipped butter set the tone for an unforgettable meal. Our afternoon kicked off with cocktails that hit every note: a glass of Moscato so perfect I couldn’t resist a second, my sister-in-law’s tropical sangria balanced sweetness and fruit flawlessly, and the Texas Tea delighted my husband and brother-in-law. We also sampled the grilled pineapple and the El Jefe tequila cocktail—both packed with bold, refreshing flavors. The wait staff was super attentive throughout our visit. Our waiter, Robert, was great and kept our glasses full, while our hostess, Jenna, greeted us with a warm smile and ensured we were seated comfortably. Next came the appetizers: tenderloin bites smothered in sautéed mushrooms, caramelized onions, and creamy chimichurri—absolutely mouthwatering. The queso fresco topped with smoky brisket was gone in seconds and left us craving more. By the time the entrees arrived, we were ready for round two. I savored the Atlantic salmon, perfectly seared and paired with mashed potatoes that tasted like home. My husband’s blackened redfish was hands-down one of the best he’s ever had, and my sister-in-law raved about her Filet Oscar and bacon-wrapped filet with shrimp. We closed out with cheesecake and rich chocolate cake served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream—a heavenly finale. Before you go, be sure to add a cup of their coffee; it’s the spot to linger over the last flavorful moments. Saltgrass Steak House in Arlington is pure five-star magic from start to finish.
I came here for a quick lunch. It was pleasantly surprised about how great the steaks were prepared the cost and ambience. It’s my first time eating at this establishment. The service was amazing. Will definitely eat again and recommend. In fact I may even go there tomorrow in order the same thing.
Me and my husband love saltgrass. We love their grilled chicken and I like to get the brussels sprouts, but the only thing I’ve noticed is usually they’re just the leafs of it and never the whole Brussels sprouts. But they’re still good they have brown sugar on them so they’re a little sweet. The grilled chicken is very juicy and good as well
We enjoyed exceptional service from our waitress Tatijana! She guided us through the menu and didn’t steer us wrong! We enjoyed the food which was seasoned well and cooked to our preference. We all finished our meal with an amazing carrot cake as big as your head. Cant say enough about the service and friendly staff.
I liked everything about the restaurant. The atmosphere, the service and the food. The server was very nice and took her time to explain the modifications we could make to our dishes. At first I thought it was a little pricey but with every meal you get a side salad that’s quite big and what ever side you want.

The price was a little high for texas road house level of flavor. It was good but im not sure it was 42$ a plate good. I was a little disappointed with the "Oscar" option on the menu. Its crab meat with some sort of mayonnaise, I was unaware and it turn the steak that was good to... let's just say I had to remove the fixings and at 13$ to make it an Oscar steak the 42+ 13 was a little more for something I didnt enjoy. They have other things that I should have tried, I was looking at the shrimp amin butter as a fixin' but the waiter recommended the Oscar as being really good. Not for me I don't like mayonnaise so 🤷 😒. Over all we spent about 120$ for two people and they ran out of prime rib super early it alwas around 6pm when they ran out of prime rib, now the next day we went to roadhouse and the same two people eating prime rib ended up pay 56$ so im not going to be going to saltgrass again, unfortunately.
Excellent service and food. Our server, Stacie, was attentive without being over-bearing. Another server, Ahmed, kept a large party laughing as he helped them. I enjoyed just watching this interaction. Our steaks, a petite filet and a top center cut sirloin, were perfectly cooked and not over seasoned. I learned how to make brussel sprouts a new way (Thanks, Chef!), as I ordered some as my side. The only negative was I found the mushrooms to be a bit more salty than I cared for. Save room for dessert as the cheesecake, which is made in-house, is divine. It's very light! If you find you just don't have room to eat it after your meal, take a piece with you to enjoy later. There is plenty of free parking. If the Rangers or Cowboys are playing a home game, be sure to time your arrival and departure accordingly to avoid getting caught in traffic.
Had a great time. The wait staff was friendly my waiter appeared to be training another waitress and she was doing a great job as well. The food came out exactly as we requested it which is great my wife is picky. Over all a great experience and I will be returning.
Baked potato was not hot when served. Pork chops are very good...would suggest that bourbon glaze be added after cooking. Wait staff was very welcoming and attentive!
July 2024 On this visit, we ordered Nachos with the Queso with Brisket, Wedge Salad, Mushroom/Onion Chop, Shrimp Duo, Mac and Cheese, and Salmon Caesar Salad. The dishes were great. And service was great! 2022 I came with a large group and I ordered the Fried Shrimp plate with mashed potatoes and a side of sautéed mushrooms. I asked them to grill the shrimp instead of fry them and it was no problem. Saltgrass always has the best sautéed mushrooms and this visit did not disappoint. Service was really good considering we had over 10 people. The only downside was that the last shrimp I ate was really burnt. The rest of the shrimp was fine.
After a whole day of touring (first w/ a VIP guided tour of AT&T Stadium then a guided tour of the Cowboys training facility at the Star in Frisco), we decided to find a casual steakhouse near our hotel, literally 5 min away. There were a lot of higher rated spots but they required a more formal dress code and we hadn't packed those types of clothes on our trip. The choice came down to Longhorn's, Texas Roadhouse and Saltgrass. My Google and Yelp research revealed that Saltgrass seemed to have on aggregate the slightly higher rated sentiment online so we settled on Saltgrass. So we strolled in and noticed there were quite a few ppl waiting in the lobby and we started thinking that the wait would be long but surprisingly the hostess told us it would only be 15-20 min for table which was pleasantly surprising. I ordered the biggest ribeye I could find on the menu. My dad got a 12 oz-er and my brother decided to try country fried steak for the first time. I appreciated the butter finish on top of the steak! My ribeye was cooked 90% perfectly (I asked for medium rare). There was a good amount of meat near the rib cap, radiating outward from the bone, that could've prolly used more cook time as it was edging more towards rare but I can borderline tolerate rare so it was ok I guess. I have to say, the country fried steak my bro got was not good. My dad and I tried some of it and it had the texture of ground beef??? It was also extremely well done and SUPER dry on the inside which made it difficult to swallow without drinking something. Smoked mac n' cheese side was delicious. Al dente noodles and very cheesy. Ceasar salad was mid (typical store-bought sauce). Brussel sprouts underrated (nicely roasted). Sweet potato fries could've been crispier. Our server Jonathan, was very attentive to us throughout the night. Checked up on us constantly. When explaining the soups of the day to us he forgot to mention that one was a creamy soup and the other was a non-creamy one (just a future tip to provide that info to the patrons as well ^_^). Btw, I can't forget how tasty that Tito's texas tea was. Felt like I was drinking a refreshing juice! I was prolly buzzed after leaving the resto and didn't even realize it LOL. Overall, a very solid dining experience at Saltgrass!
I’ve been to Saltgrass Steakhouse a few times. Typically pretty good, and the Arlington, TX location didn’t disappoint. I usually try to find “non-chain” restaurants to try local flavors and support small business. But sometimes I just gotta go with what I know. This is a chain steakhouse that is part of the Landry’s Dining group of restaurants. All locations are pretty similar, with consistent quality and good service. The fresh bread is always good. Also had the Fried Onion Tanglers, and the Ribeye steak is always a safe bet. Our dinner was great and the staff was friendly. I’ll be back!
We went out after the ice storm and were seated immediately. The waitress we had was her 1st day on the tables and from what I seen she was doing good a good job for her 1st day. He food was really good and cooked perfectly. We will return to this location for sure. Just be prepared it is a little more expensive than the other steakhouse they are in competition with but way better food.
We arrived and met another party outside the restaurant. Although we did not have a reservation, we were seated immediately. The atmosphere was quiet enough to talk. The food was good. The waitstaff was attentive and we did not feel rushed.
Like most Saltgrass, you know exactly what you are getting if you visit this restaurant. I can't in good conscious give 5 stars today for just a few reasons. At first arrival, the lobby was busy, but no one knew where the line was to check in, and it was organized chaos. With that said, we did get seated pretty quickly. The waiter was ok, but for us, he was way too talkative. I like to enjoy my meal without all the conversation. He did a good job, though. The bread here is always amazing. We ordered mushrooms and crab cakes for appetizers. You can't go wrong with either. Both were amazing. I really liked the crab cakes with the lemon sauce. The potato soup is not what I'm used to and tasted like it was missing something. The meals were as expected, tasted good, hot, tender ribs, and perfectly cooked steak. The couple we were eating with, though, had their fish come out more raw than fish should be. They did take care of it and replaced the dish, but by the time he got his fish, we were almost done. The remake was cooked properly, but it was way over seasoned. Overall, a good, not great visit. I would recommend a visit despite our issues since they are very consistent with good food.
Went for a birthday celebration. Only my 3rd time ever going in the 14yrs I've been here. Pricey for what you get in my opinion. They of course fill you up on soft warm yummy brown bread and butter like most establishments here. I ordered the reddish meal. It was way smaller than the picture on the menu. Yes it was still good but the portion size of the fish and the flash fried string beans was small. The seasoning could have been more, if there was any. The 2 shrimp on top were cooked perfectly and delicious. The sauce over the fish was where the flavor was...I had to add salt n pepper for the fish. Everyone else at the table seemed ok..except 1 forgotten order and another steak cooked medium when asked for well, then after it was brought back it was with the wrong side. Ther was another tortilla chip situation with maybe a dirty bowl or burnt crumbs at the bottom if the dish. I tried the rattlesnake jalapeño stuffed things and I should've gotten a plate of those..mmmmmm Brittany was our server and she was excellent! The food was tasty. Yes I will go back but not too soon, and maybe only a special occasion.

I’ve been to this location numerous times and I have never had a bad experience until today. I visited this location yesterday and let me start by saying the atmosphere was wonderful and my food was amazing. I enjoyed the food, added a tip & paid the bill. Upon checking my bank statement today, I realize that I was overcharged $20. I reached out to the restaurant and spoke to the manager who pulled up my ticket and saw where the discrepancy was. Apparently, the waitress decided to add an extra $20 to the tip that I had already left her. The manager reassured me that he would print it out, let his general manager see it, disciplinary action would be taken, and my money would be refunded. The manager (whose name I won’t say) seemed to be very empathetic & very willing to rectify the problem. The waitress name was ANGELA and I think that it should be known that she is stealing from the customers. I’m sure this wasn’t her first time adding to someone’s tip and lining her pockets. For the love of God, we’re all out here trying to make ends meet but this type of behavior is unacceptable. This lady literally tipped herself more than half of what of the entire total was. I truly hope she’s disciplined and that I am refunded immediately as I do intend to reach out to corporate tomorrow morning.
I was here the other night with colleagues, we sat in the dining room, it was very good service. Today I sat at the bar, and the guy waiting on me apparently wasn't happy with his job, as he expressed to others working behind the bar. Took my order and that was it. Never got my side salad, never asked if everything was good, never asked if I needed another drink. You don't like your job, go do something else. I won't come back here again
Went there on a Wednesday night and experience wasn’t very memorable. The positive was that we didn’t haven’t to wait long for a table and the hostess was nice to us, food wasn’t bad and we were satisfied with it. But the wait and the server was a whole different story. Because it was a large table she was at one end and I was at the other and I asked her to come over so that I can’ tell her that we need to separate the alcohol and food for payment and she said she needed to stay there to take the order and we had to ask her to come again so that we can speak to her and then she can go back. We placed our drink order and that took a while, granted it was 9 of us and 90% of the table got tap beer. We should have ordered everything at the same time, about 30 mins after she came back to take our order and that was chaos despite us re reading everything to her, she messed up so much of the order. Food took a while. Eventually she brought us bread and water. After the food came, she never once came back and check on us. We just suffered through what we had, she didn’t even asked if we needed additional drinks. Every time we try to make eye contact with her she would look the other way. While we were still eating, we asked for the check so that we don’t have to wait. She got the two checks separated and brought it in one holder. We separated it and handed them to her separately and explained which was which and she screwed it up and she realized it while she was doing that and supposedly fixed it. She brought back the receipts and it was wrong so she had to go back and redo it. Double unnecessary charges on the card for her mistake.
I ate lunch here on a Tuesday. Everything was great except my steak. I ordered the ribeye medium rare. It was 100% a sirloin no fat whatsoever and was cooked well done. Shrimp were cooked perfectly and so was the broccoli. Had fresh bread and salad was also fresh. I have eaten at this exact spot twice now. First time I had the salmon and it was amazing. Try the appetizers with the jalapeno and shrimp you won’t be disappointed.
My wife and I celebrated Valentines day here and so glad we had a reservation. We were seated within 5 minutes of our reservation time and our waitress, Brianna, can right over to take our drink …
Great food. Waitstaff was great. The hostess at the front who told us we should have made reservations and eye rolled us when we said we had tried needs to opt for a different career. She proceeded…
Sad to say, 3 couples went out to eat and we all had a problem with our food. 1 person out of each couple had a complaint. So sorry to say but what a drag!!!! Totally not as good as it could be. Had to take my dinner up to manager to show him it was burnt. He didn't come to me after my waiter reported to him our problems. Not well ran!!
Food was fabulous. Service less than stellar. Our waitress Angela started with more of an up sale on their dining club and menu. After our food was delivered no one came back to see how the meal was, did we need anything. After rubber necking for Angela we flagged down another employee who let Angela know we were looking for her. When Angela came to our table we ordered another drink. 10 minutes later we’re rubber necking again, flagged down another employee, let him know we didn’t want our drinks, we’re ready to leave. Angela shows up, explains about the long list of receipts at the bar (your issue, I’m the customer). When our drinks showed up as we’re paying our bill, no offer of”go ahead drinks on us for your frustration.” Very poor customer service. Food was very good. Steak done to perfection.
We had a roach walk across our table. Yep, no appetite after that. Not the first time it's happened at this establishment. Dinner was comped but... 2lwe didnt eat it. They need to take care of that situation.
I've been to other Salt Grass locations and had yet to be disappointed, until this location. Let me clear things up a bit, we arrived and we're treated great, it was around 5pm Saturday. It was normal busy. It was just the wife and I. My third time visiting a salt Grass location. It was my wife's first time at Salt Grass. Our server BJ did a good job welcoming us once the hostess seated us. We ordered the fried pickles which were amazing with their homemade ranch. The wife ordered a 8 oz Top Sirloin with the sweet potato fries. And I got a Top Sirloin 10oz with a loaded baked potato. She got a water with lemon and I got a tea. It was great. We got some fresh bread with honey butter per standard. A welcome nibble while you wait for your order. Our pickles were brought out, and soon after our salads. I drank my tea about 3/4 of the way. At this point I wanted to go to the bathroom and clean my hands, but our server got a few other tables and we never saw her stop by again at this moment. I started eating the fried pickles with the fork, Finally a manager saw me owling the place for a good 10 mins and came to offer his assistance which was highly appreciated in locating the bathroom. I could finally enjoy the finger food appetizer. I arrived and my wife was upset. They prepared a medium rare Ribeye for her... But she had ordered a medium rare Sirloin. (Who would complain, it is a more expensive cut, but when you expect a certain cut, your taste buds expect a different flavor) My Sirloin was correct, well done, no issues here. My wife was hungry and decided to just forgive the mistake and eat, but she didn't enjoy it. The sweet potato fries were very bland and ended up not eating her side. The Mac and Cheese was cold, and had a odd taste I didn't not have at the other locations I've been to. We didn't even bother eating it. Mind you my Sirloin was amazing. I loved my loaded baked potato. But the issue arose that I had to eat this steak with nothing but my own saliva to help swallow it, because my tea was never refilled. BJ came by to ask how our food was, but didn't notice my cup, which was sitting at the end of the table 1/4 empty. Until after we were done and sitting there for a few minutes before needing our check, we were offered dessert, but I just wanted something to drink. Which I finally got my refill just before we left. I felt like the experience at the Mesquite and Garland locations were a lot better in terms of their attention to service. I just wasn't too pleased with this particular experience, I asked for the check and put enough cash for a small tip considering the service I received was sub par to the others locations. I usually tip anywhere from 20-39% my ticket, but again, we just wanted to go. My wife unfortunately was unhappy with her first experience at Salt Grass. I may give Salt Grass a visit again, but maybe not this location.
Came for my birthday dinner, kitchen “lost” the ticket and no one knew for about an hour and a half. Waitress had no idea until we asked after waiting that long and sent a manager over to tell us ticket was lost and he could expedite food. We left, what a waste of time.
I had to rewrite my review because my s/o and I got food poison... I'm still going through it right now... I've been hospitalized for a few days because of it... the customer service was good but it doesn't help the fact I'm still sick...I only ate there for lunch and was not able to eat anything that evening from getting sick...
We have been to Saltgrass Steak Houses before, not this one but others as we travel full time and we usually have good service and good food. This one we aren’t sure about. We were seated a right around the corner from the hostess stand. I think our waiter was sleeping. He was nice however he was not around a lot. He didn’t offer fresh peppers on the salad. Our steak dinner was brought and they forgot my mushrooms. I was almost done with my steak by the time I got my mushrooms. The steaks didn’t taste like steak not a normal fillet. Like they were plant based. Just wasn’t like any filet we have had. We had to request our bill. Not sure what was going on but just seemed off with our visit. When you are ordering a filet and ready to get one and it really is off it’s disappointing.
Ordered delivery tonight even called the store to make sure the delivery utensils as im in a hotel. Girl told oh. No worries we always put some in then asked my name and said yea ill definitely make sure there is some in there. Guess what my food gets here and no utensils and my steak is literally so cold that the butter they put on the top did not evenmelt

Arlington's Saltgrass: A Tender Pork Chop & Stellar Service
When you hear Saltgrass Steak House, your mind probably jumps straight to beef. And while they certainly do a fine steak, I recently heard some buzz from folks in Arlington that suggests there's a lot more to love there, particularly when it comes to exceptional service and a surprisingly standout dish.Dining out should be a comfortable experience, and it sounds like Saltgrass goes above and beyond to ensure just that. One diner couldn't stop raving about their server, Abner, who made their v
