YUM!! Great spot to have pizza. Spring water dough makes the pizza crust unique and stand out from other pizza places. I think it doesn't have that addicting pizza taste but the whole experience is awesome. PRETZEL TWISTS are a MUST!!! 🤩 So good. I would say get the half order if you want a lot of pizzas. We got a full order of bread knots and two medium pizzas (for 3 people) . It was a lot and I was full before I even started on the pizza. We got cosmic karma and pineapple bacon pizza. Margaritas are awesome. Love the decorations of the place! Super funky

It was decent. It's been a few years since we've been to a Mellow Mushroom and this Friday night was our first Texas Mellow Mushroom. We ordered draft beers, a small Greek salad and a small Holy Shitake Pizza plus Sausage Our server, Cara was pleasant and helpful. She took our drink orders right away. The beers were cold and tasty. I while later, we ordered our food. - Small Greek Salad: it was just okay. Not special - Holy Shitake Pizza plus Sausage: I really like it. My wife thought the bottom crust at the outer edge was a bit burnt on 2 of the 4 slices. It was darker for sure but I was good with it. All in all, a good meal with good service. I’d eat here again.

We’ve been separate locations and enjoy their pizza immensely. Their crust is divine. We sat outside and most of the chairs were covered with bird poop, kind of a downer. The pizza takes a while, but we’re used to that. And it’s worth the wait. We had the pretzels with the beer, cheese, queso, and a couple of drinks.our waitress was good but kind of slow.

Fun menu. The food was good with decent portions. It was clearly a neat place some time ago, but now feels tired and worn out. The menus were literally sticky to the touch as was the floor I am sure. I was not sure that the well worn and hole ridden seat covers were going to hold me for the duration of the meal. It's sad to me when a once fun place gives up the ghost like this. It's in extreme need of an update and a deep cleaning. Our server Mary was adequate, but clearly over worked. The owners of this place should be extremely ashamed.

First time visiting, the pizza was very good in itself. The inside of the place is decorated very nice, it has a retro psychedelic feel to the place. We sat outside in the patio but there was alot of bird droppings on the table and chairs which was a bummer. We decided to order some drinks and one of the drinks was very watered down, we told the waitress and she said that she had to go ask and they told her they didn’t know which drink they had poured. Upon that she told us that they were out of ingredients to make most of the drinks so we went with the sunrise drink which was delicious! The service was a bit slow but the waiter was kind. The food and drinks took a long time about 30+ minutes just for the drinks to get made. Overall the food is good but the drinks and service could use improvement

I ordered the enlightened spinach salad, which is pictured below, which is clearly spinach with other ingredients, such as dried cherries, feta cheese, apples, and pecans. What I received is in the other picture. It’s like they ran out of all the ingredients for that salad, but instead of just telling me they don’t have the ingredients to make that salad. They just decided to give me the scraps and stems of lettuce from making burgers plus some random tomatoes, bacon, and blue cheese. It was quite upsetting to get home and see Id paid almost $18 kitchen scraps and some chicken. I will never order online again. I would only ever go back for pizza at this point, and I would make sure it’s in person at the restaurant so I can confirm they actually could make my food.

Third time getting food and third time something was out but they let us purchase it. The woman at the front door was super friendly and kind but the manager couldn't even be bothered to come up front and apologize or say anything in regard to the missing item, even though they were extremely slow. Keep in mind we were told nothing about the missing item but thankfully we check the food before we leave every time. I get that things happen but to know you are out of something and basically hope that the person who purchased it does not notice? Come on...

Great pizzas. Dine-in is usually good. Take-home experience is atrocious: orders are never ready on time (minimum 15min wait) the last 4-5 times we've ordered a large and only gotten a medium. The hosts are usually wonderful about resolving it but the fact that half a dozen people are moving around, repeatedly asking the name on our order or what the order is.

Garbage. The crust in the middle was raw. Blechh! Evidently this is their mo and their fans love it.

I stopped going here years ago because the service was so bad. I came back for a friend’s birthday party. 9 people! Not a ton. They got there 30 minutes before anyone else to get a table. It’s over an hour later and not a single person has been sat on a Saturday night. It’s not the staff’s fault, per se. they have 3 waiters, a hostess, a bartender and a bar back working. For the entire restaurant. The hostess is clearing tables and she and the bar back are taking turns expo-ing. The waiters are disappearing in the back instead of cleaning tables. There have been two clear tables for an hour that the waiters don’t want sat and a dozen dirty tables. If it weren’t for the friend’s birthday I would have left 45 minutes ago. How could management schedule 3 waiters and no expo on a Saturday night? I couldn’t imagine working there! The hostess was busting her rear, and I feel sorry for her!

The pizza was a Buffalo chicken and when I get Buffalo chicken anything from anywhere I expect a bit of flavor and definitely a bit of spice... this had nietjer... it was an orange colored sauce on terrible quality bread... 1/10 wont recommend. The server was attentive and I appreciate the readiness to serve but he was loud, standing next to us but soaking like we were across the room. And when I asked for lemon for my drink... he brought it with his bare hands and tried to drop it in my drink...

Ordered my pizza online on 12/18 order number 980130 and was excited since I haven’t been to a mellow mushroom in a while. I held off on posting a negative review because I know they can really affect a business and I wanted to give them a chance to make it right but it seems like they don’t care about their reputation so I’m moving forward with the review. I gave feedback about how I had purchased a large pizza but at pick up I was told they ran out of large dough and what I got was a medium. I wasn’t offered any type of remedy to fix it just that was all they had so that’s what I got. Never received any communication from the store or corporate about how I would be reimbursed for them taking my money. I would have asked to speak with a manager but while I was waiting I overheard the host telling another unhappy customer the manager wasn’t there. Idk what kinda clown car restaurant y’all are running but this place is literally a joke. I can say the pretzel bite promotion they were running at least tasted good but the pizza photo speaks for itself. Wonder if the cooks just didn’t want to make it or just gave me the leftovers from a previous order. Doubtful I’ll be back to this location ever again, and definitely left a sour taste in my mouth about the company itself. If you want a consistently good pizza go to Mama’s pizza. If you want to roll the dice to see if you’ll get what you ordered then come here.

The bartender said the Italian hoagie was better than Subway. It has more mayo than meat. Missing most of the ingredients. It was obvious the staff didn’t care and just wanted to leave. I’d recommend Subway going forward.

I'll start off by saying the pizza was very good. I used to go to the Southlake location before it closed. I'll also say that our waitress was very kind. We got to the restaurant at 1:57 PM on Father's Day. There were at least 5 empty tables, and that was only of half the restaurant. While she did tell us to give her 3 minutes to seat us, it was at least that, if not more. Okay, so I have worked restaurant in my life and if you're in the weeds, you're in the weeds, and a little patience is appreciated, so we were trying to extend grace. She brought us our drinks in a pretty timely manner, but we didn't get our first small pizza until 3:13. The other one got to the table at 3:20. These were 2 10-inch pizzas with 2 toppings each. She did apologize one time, which we appreciate, and to be fair, she was hustling--- hostess, bartender, waitress, and helping in the kitchen. The thing is, the restaurant, at least from my experience with waiting tables, was not that busy. We're not sure why it took over an hour for 2 small pizzas. The restaurant was old and run-down, which I'd kind of expect for a college restaurant. But the overall experience was just not worth it. At one point we were trying do calculate the bill so we could just leave cash on the table, but another waitress brought our $30 tab, so we handed her $40 and high-tailed out of there. I've only been to this location one other time, but this will be the last. Compassion for not expecting a crowd on Father's Day, compassion for her, knowing she was working hard, but extreme frustration at the over an hour to make 2 pizzas. We live an hour away, and could have driven home and picked up Stoner's pizza on the way in the time we spent in Mellow Mushroom. I wish we'd made another choice.

Terrible service, I ordered a pizza to go and added jalapeños online(which I paid extra for). When I showed up to pick up the pizza, they handed it to me and stated they had no jalapeños and it was just pepperoni then walked away. They also did not give me any ranch I paid extra for as well. Failed to tell me ahead of time or give me any reimbursement. Disappointing. I will not be returning to this location.

When we arrived, it took them a bit to acknowledge us, as there was not even a bell to ring to mention our presence. We were seated and waited for our food just for it to come out so greasy/oily that It was inedible. The calzone was burnt/super greasy and one of the meats inside of it tasted weird. We tried to eat what we could, but it was just too much and ended up leaving it. Almost 70 bucks down the drain. The only thing that was decent was the spinach dip. We will not be back, sad to see this place has lost it's touch.
