What they do with a humble skirt steak is amazing. Perfectly cooked with great flavor. Plenty of food, the enchiladas were outstanding, and the tamale plate is the real deal.
My husband judges Mexican restaurants by their chips and salsa. Nailed it! One of the best Tex-Mex restaurants in Arlington. Quality food for a good price, great service, cool patio, and you can't be their Wednesday $1 Margaritas!!
I'm here almost every Thursday, they have draft beer specials all day on Thursdays. The food is good, I usually get an order of fajita nachos. Great atmospher, relaxed and easygoing.
We recently moved from El Paao to Arlington and we have been looking for a chill place to have good food with the kids! We ate here on halloween after trick or treating and we loved it!! The food was soo good and it came out so fast! Everyone was so friendly and the place was nice/what we were expecting. We will definitelt be going back!
First of all Cindy was an amazing server! She was attentive enough without being overbearing. I would say she is a seasoned server. She asked the right questions. The shrimp diablo was awesome! I will say that sitting on the patio was noisy but the atmosphere was pleasant. If you can hit the happy hour it lasts until 6:00 and has a nice selection of options. Would definitely come back again.
This has become my spot for a quick lunch with friends. The staff is always so cordial and welcoming, which makes all the difference. They open at 11 am so it's great for brunch. And there's a lunch menu so even better. The drinks are on point and the dishes are delightful. I have no idea why I waited so long to visit. I highly recommend the enchilada plate, which has yet to disappoint.
1st time dining here. Elizabeth was the best! Helpful and knowledgeable. She even tracked down a shirt I liked so I could purchase it. The fajitas were delicious. They make their flour tortillas in-house. All of the food was flavorful and plenty to take home for later. Prices are reasonable. Definitely will be back.
Went against all the negative reviews, and glad that we decided to try it regardless of reviews. Our server was awesome, and food was prepared quickly. Salsa and chips were good. Salsa isn’t spicy, but, has a good flavor. Grilled veggies were extremely good. The small cup of queso blanco(not pictured) was worth the $6. Will definitely try again. The patio had a nice chill atmosphere.

I love their hot sauce and their Mexican food! Tequila drinks for happy hour! Love their outdoor dining!
Good food, good service, friendly people decor is nice, ambience is good. Heard the owner is in San Antonio, but I don't hold that against him or her.
lthis place has a great atmosphere, service and good crowd. We sat at the bar and the salsa was amazing too.
Food was pretty good. Noise level was moderate. Was at times hard to hear our server and our own conversations. Also very crowded dining area. While you can seat a large group of people, I wouldn't want other patrons to suffer because I need to slide five 4 person tables together. The chips tasted stale but the rest of the meal was pretty good.
Food has always been good. Love their salsa and my celiac bf loves this place. Only once they messed my order but Totally love this place.
We used to eat here about 20 years ago when we lived in the area. We are back in town and decided to reminisce a bit for dinner. The food was solid, and drinks were a good deal during happy hour. Nothing spectacular for meals, but happy hour pricing made it worth the trip. We shared an Arroyo sampler, ditch fries, fajita nachos for a table of four. The fries were kind of a let down, everything else was good.
I cannot begin to describe my waitress.. Ms. Elizabeth T. ~ her and her alone made my whole visit worth while , plus a return visit is in order. Not only did she make me feel at home she also made me feel like family and took excellent care of it... Please ask for her on your visit and tell her that Duane Lee sent ya.. My bartender Made the best margarita I have ever had in my entire life.. it took me to where I wanted to get in one drink plus a side shot.. it was so good it made a white boy think you could speak Spanish.. The cook Mr Juan insured my meal was hot fresh and delicious... ~ And special thanks to the manager Ms. Vicki for allowing me to photograph. ~ My first exposure to the restaurant was in Austin, and it was absolutely unforgettable so much so that it prompted me to make the visit to the location in Arlington, Tx. And a special thanks do my flirt buddy Ms Cassandra.. Please tell them Duane Lee sent you...
We were in Arlington and wanted to try this place for a while. We were seated immediately and got our drinks pretty quickly. Sofia was very attentive and friendly. The staff wore different t shirts with humorous printing on the back. My partner just had guacamole and chips. I ordered the chicken street tacos with rice and beans. Everything was very delicious. I even forgot to take a picture of my plate before I started eating 😁 The margarita was really tasty. The food and drinks were pricey compared to other Mexican places but the atmosphere was really cool. I have never heard so many 70’s classic rock songs played in a Mexican restaurant but I enjoyed it, as did others. I would definitely come back to try different dishes and would recommend this place to anyone who loves Mexican food.
The margarita was delish! Service was so so but the food was good. I made a reservation since it was a group get together and they had everything set up and ready for us.

Went for lunch on Friday. The food was good and the server did a nice job. They do add 3% surcharge for using a credit card; so be aware.

Food was pretty good. Drink Menu is limited, Beer is also limited, Service could have been better when we were sitting inside most the action was outside.. The season for the meat was delicious further shared fajitas myself and husband shared. 😋
Went for a birthday dinner for our nephew. The waitress wouldn't take orders from my husband. I had to do all the talking. Honestly it was such a large party she Honestly should had more help then herself. Seating area as a group party was very small and out in the middle of a sitting area. Kids had to be separated to another table.
The food was great. The service was really good. The problem was is that they charged us extra for things that they did not tell us about. It was very frustrating. We even spoke to the manager, and they were not willing to adjust the bill. They had some items on their happy hour menu, but if you ordered steak on the nachos, there was an extra dollar charge, but that was not disclosed and it was offered by the waitress as a selection. I thought that it was handled poorly. Had i been the manager I would simply remove the extra fees that were charged based on the fact that she knew that the waitress misspoke. But that’s not the position that they took. She said that she had talked to the waitress and that it wouldn’t happen again. We ended up not leaving a tip just because we were upset of the overcharges. We had about $10 worth of over charges that we were not expecting. I would go back again because the food was good, but I’ve learned my lesson. My rating is no reflection of the food itself or honestly the service that we received. It was the fact that they didn’t disclose their prices correctly. The menu reflected fajita nachos, but apparently that price only included chicken, but the waitress gave us multiple options.
The food was ok, but my mom enjoyed the weekday drink specials more than the food. We went twice and both things the food was mediocre at best. They have great customer service, though, and the atmosphere is nice. The guacamole was HORRIBLE. This was my first time trying a chicken enchilada, and I didn't like it.
We moved here from California in August and we have yet to find great Mexican food. We stopped here before a comedy show event and decided to stop since it looked packed and we checked the reviews, which were mostly good. The staff was nice, but the food was super bland, lukewarm and underwhelming. I did enjoy the margaritas though. Sadly, we are still on the search for great Mexican food.
We actually love this place. The enchiladas are good. The beans and rice are standard, a little more flavor would be welcome. The chips and salsa are good, I dump salsa in the beans. It helps. …

The service was fine once they figured out who our waitress was but they changed the cheese on the nachos to runny movie theatre nacho cheese.
If you're looking for good food, this is not the place. If you're looking for margaritas, chips and salsa, and a patio to gossip with friends or coworkers at, this is it.

We had a very weird experience at the Arlington location. We took a picture with the new Taco Man. Our waiter said we were the first ever to do so. He said he would send over the manager. Dustin the owner came by instead. He said to send him our picture and he would put it in Facebook. When he did so, he had made all of our images morphed into super ugly people and I have no idea why! He clearly had our permission to post it. Then, when I mentioned it, they turned off comments on their post and later Blocked me!! Such unprofessional behavior from the OWNER! On top of that weird happening, they had watered down the margaritas so we couldn't even drink them because they had no flavor. We used to always go here for our work happy hours, but we will be taking the party elsewhere from now on, and passing along the message.
Absolutely the WORST customer service! I wish we could leave ZERO stars!\n\nWe called ahead to make a reservation for a birthday meal for 15 people. They don't take reservations. \n\nOK, well the…

Restaurant needs to be renovated. Paint is coming off the walls. Updates haven't been made since they opened decades ago. Promised to have the Super Bowl on their tv's, but they only had it on in their small bar area and not in the restaurant area. Manager refused to put it on the other tv's.
Came in on my lunch break. I was excited to try the place… I specifically told the server three times!!! Please no raw onion of any kind on my food!! No pico No raw onion of any kind!!! I asked three times politely they rest assured my food would not have any onions! I should have checked my plate before I left. Unfortunately, I was rushing due to time! I paid $16 for a scoop of brown mush that I’m assuming was guacamole with four supposed to be flautas that were so overcooked you didn’t even know what was inside of them! And of course you can guess it topped with tons of onions!!! I called back to speak with the manager! She didn’t even apologize. First and last time here!!! 16$… FOR THIS??? UNBELIEVABLE notice the cheese didn’t even melt either!!!
