Pho was good flavor & size. I got the small and it was more than filling. Quiet location, inside the Asian market. Plenty of seating, plenty of parking. Entrance is inside , thru food court access. Fast service
Bun Mang Vit was so good (the besttt). The broth was so fresh and authentic. Worth the 40 mins drive <3 (idk why it shows food , service and atmosphere 0/5 but to me 10/10 ;)
Definitely 100% authentic Lao Thai food. Service is great and very affordable
Everytime I come here it's a great experience. Great food, great customer service. Definitely try the Hu Tieu with everything, both dry and soup versions are amazing!!!
While in DFW, I visited Hu Tieu My Tho on a friend's recommendation for authentic Vietnamese food. It was a good of an experience as I could expect, with awesome Vietnamese comfort food! The ca kho claypot catfish is AMAZING. The sauce is caramelized and pot loaded with large, tender pieces of catfish. Every bite is soft and you can drench the fish in as much or as little sauce as you'd like. There are 4 pieces of juicy fish for your pleasure. The white rice serves as a perfect complement. I also had the white duck. The duck is tender and savory, and paired with a sweet & light ginger sauce. It was so good I almost had a full plate to myself. The portions are hefty, and I guarantee you will have a great time eating. Next time I visit, I will try the Hu Tieu which is their signature soup. So looking forward to it!
Serves traditional I haven't typically found in other Vietnamese restaurants. According to my wife all of the dishes we've eaten are authentic and compares to what she had when growing up in Saigon.
Above average Hủ Tíu. Authentic. The XL version for $4.5 extra has liver, shrimp, squid, and pork slices. Enough for two people! Great crunchy fried pork fat cubes (tốp mỡ) that you don't see in a lot of restaurants (because it's a lot of work to make). The owner was kind of grumpy. Asked for a bowl of dipping sauce but never got it. Oh well, I guess it's a sign of authenticity? 😂🤷🏻♂️ In Asia, they have the same bad customer service everywhere.
Food is so delicious, portions are a good size. I come here almost every weekend because the food is so comforting.
I are here for the first time today. The service and the Pho was excellent! This place also has a great vibe. Edit: I’ve eaten here a couple of times now. Whereas the food is good, the wait staff aren’t very nice.
My friend recommended me to come here for their famous dish- Hu Tieu My Tho. When I walked inside the restaurant, a wave of nostalgia swept over me when I saw the owner was wearing Ao Ba Ba, a traditional Southern Vietnamese garment welcomed customers. Hu Tieu is a Vietnamese popular breakfast noodle dish in Southern Vietnam and can be served as a soup or dry. But, if you don’t like Hu Tieu, they also have Pho, Rice porridge , Rice plate, vermicelli; you name it, they got it. Also a long list of appetizers and beverages. We ordered a bowl of Hu tieu Ca (Rice noodles Fish soup), Hu Tieu My Tho (clear noodles, dry version, served along side with hot bowl of savory pork broth),egg rolls and grilled pork. Imo, they serve authentic and comforting Hu Tieu bowls. I really loved the toppings - pork, pork liver and seafood was cooked perfectly, and broth was very tasty. I liked to add pickle garlic and jalapeños to give it a kick. Our orders came out within 5-10 minutes. Keep in mind they will charge a fee if you pay by card. Service was friendly. I”ll definitely come back next time visiting Dallas.
Go to place for Hu Tieu in DFW. For Vietnamese restaurants, I generally recommend getting what they are known for. I get a mix of egg noodles and pho noodles with the variety of meat and seafood. Soup and dry version is great! Service is simple, order quick and food comes quick. (I’m also Vietnamese if this helps)
If you’re craving authentic Vietnamese cuisine in the DFW area, this is the spot! 🤩 I’ve been coming here for years, and it has never disappointed me. The service is warm and friendly, and the menu offers a great variety of dishes. I highly recommend their signature Hu Tieu My Tho and Canh Chua Ca Kho To, always top-notch!
$13 for a large Pho. Best deal in town.
Vietnamese tradition food, noodle and rice. come here if you are a die hard fan of vietnamese food. however, service is slow in rush hour, they close early, and dont accept more customer 30 mins before closed. after all the food is good to cover all.
Having just had six teeth pulled and unable to chew food, Pho became my beacon of salvation from the ocean of hunger. I am not Vietnamese, but I am a true foodie. I first had Pho when I was in college in New York, and then I would look for places to eat Pho every time I went to a new city. For decades, I have traveled around the world to countless countries and wrote food guides for some cities where I stayed for a long time. I arrived in Dallas before the COVID-19 pandemic, and this was not the first restaurant with Pho I encountered. I stumbled upon this restaurant while shopping in the supermarket the following month, and I found the original taste I had been looking for half the world, and then this became my base for eating Pho in DFW, and I brought all my friends here. The boss is serious and guards the lobby all year round. She is a very kind and friendly lady, and so are the other employees. I love this place and recommend it to everyone! !
I’ve been eating at this place since I was a child and as an adult I have brought all of my friends here. The owner is a very sweet lady and so are the rest of the workers. I love this place and recommend to everyone !!
My 2nd time here. First time I had the hu tieu and it was on point. This time I tried a soup called Canh Bun. It's supposedly one of their special dishes. This is my first time ever eating this soup and it was absolutely delicious! Give it a shot if you stop by.
The soups and sautéed fish dishes were delicious. This spot is one of my moms local favorite. She shared it with me today and I was not disappointed. 👌🏻
Had the cahn bun, was delicious. Broth was rich and the noodles on point! Service was good as well!

Excellent restaurant with a wide variety of vietnamese dishes. The pho was delicious and the broth very flavorable which added to the overall delightfulness of the dish. I've heard from friends about this place and we tried and liked it very much.
i been here multiple times. the food and the portion is good. the only problem is the way the staff talking together. i understand Vietnamese so i know that they not talk bad about the customer but the way they talking together kinda bothering my friends but everything else good, the place clean, good food, reasonable price, good drink also

I came here from my uncles recommendation for this restaurant. I ordered the hu tieu (shrimp/squid/pork) with the broth aside. The hu tieu was amazing, although the broth was more sweeter than I expected, but overall the service was good and there are lots sauce jars accomadated at my table.
They have the best Hu tieu in my opinion. Pho flavor is very tasty too. I usually take out and they pack everything well. The only thing that take away my one star are credit card convenience fee and sometimes the broth isnt the same/ less flavor. But overall, I enjoy their food and definitely will come back
I’m from Carrollton (30 minutes away). When in the area, I look forward to eating here. I’ve eaten here about once a month for the past 3 years. It is better than many of the places in the neighborhood. The food is often good… sometimes great… occasionally it’s ok. Service is like the food… is often good… sometimes great… occasionally it’s ok.
This was our second visit and we came for lunch on a Saturday. We ordered 2 pho bowls, Bun Rieu, and pork vermicelli. The food and service was good. Reasonable prices and good atmosphere. We will come again.
Everything is delicious. I usually order the pho but my new favourite is bun thit nuong. EVERYTHING in the bowl is amazing. Even thre carrots. I drive all the way from another county just to eat here.
Obviously if you want Hu Tieu then this is the place. The service is a bit slow to seat you but it'll happen eventually. The prices on Vietnamese food has gone up across the board and I'm starting to question if it's even worth it. I've been here for years now and I think its not as good as it was long ago. You do have to pay a fee if you use card versus cash.
This is our go to place for hủ tiếu noodle. It never fails to satisfy our craving for a good bowl of noodle with pork, shrimp and squid in a pork bone broth. We also love to eat it with their pickled garlic and jalapeno. These two side items goes really well with the noodle soup. Anyone wanting this type of noodle should give this place a try.
The Vietnamese food was alright. The broken rice is da best!

Food is very good. The roast pork is always juicy, tender, and definitely crisp skin. The fried pork dumplings or wonton soup are REAL pork n shrimp fillings that are huge. No small single bites. The service is good, but no seems to be friendly. At times I get the feeling I am a burden in their lives. The atmosphere is okay. It is a "mom and pop" business so there is nothing fancy about this restaurant. It is safe and clean enough to enjoy your meal.

I liked the authenticity of the place but the customer service is less than welcoming. Additionally, the service charge for paying with debit/credit card is another drawback. I appreciated the portion sizes and would eat the food again, but this is not a place I would regularly suggest or frequent.
The pho soup (broth) don’t taste up to par, not tasteful. Don’t feel energized after eating, seem like simple water! But they have pickles of garlic and jahapino.
The food was good but they spring a 4% service charge if you use a credit card or debit card. They do not have it posted on the door nor the menu. You find out once you go and pay. More and more places are changing a service fee for credit cards but I feel it should be fully disclosed upfront.
I was so hyped to try this place after reading all the positive reviews, but it was underwhelming. Since hu tieu (noodles) is their specialty, I had to try the dry version of hu tieu My Tho. Pros: 1) Chill and quiet atmosphere. 2) Wide variety of food options besides noodles 3) Plenty of parking available. 4) Noodles come with plenty of shrimp, squid, and liver. Cons: 1) The sauces used were so bland that I had to sprinkle some fish sauce and vinegar on my noodles. 2) The service was lacking. I had to flag down a server to retrieve a missing order for someone in my party. Turns out it was sitting in their microwave the whole time. Overall, I’ve had better and worse noodles before.
I enjoyed the pho. I would definitely eat it again. Broth tastes good before you add any condiments, and the portion is reasonable. The reason for the 3 stars is due to service. The service wasn’t bad, just under-serviced. The workers were doing the best they can so I’d fault management for not being able too staff accordingly during lunch time on a weekday. I’ve heard the same story from other people: Good food, slow service. Hopefully they can get better because their food is Good. However, the service may keep you from coming back.

The prices keep going up and up. The foods portion getting smaller. Customers services getting bad. And they even up charge 4% if I pay with my card. This is so wrong, this place mean to do this so people can pay them cash so they can hide their income with the irs. I don’t even want to eat inside anymore. I ordered to go and they charged .50 cent more for each. Never comes back.
I used to come here all the time with my family but lately the quality of the food has greatly decreased. Typically, Vietnamese restaurants don’t have A+ service but they went over the line when they overcharged us. We bought three small bowls of noodle soup and they charged us for three large bowls of soup! Unbelievable. On top of that, they charged a convenience fee? That is unheard of. To make the experience even more uncomfortable, they wore MAGA Trump hats. I respect others political views but it’s unprofessional when the server and cashier are wearing them while on the job. Nonetheless, they will not be seeing us again.
Overpriced, beware at cash register. Lady over charged us on multiple small bowls of mi thit and she rounded up to $10. When you check out, Ask for the itemized receipt because they will take advantage. I paid for it, but they will never get my business back. I used to take my family of 6 to this place, but will never come back again. This joint should be grateful that they had business during this pandemic.
The glass they used for my iced tea was disgusting. They definitely did NOT wash my glass before they served to me. It was greasy with bits of fat on the inside of the glass. They did not even apologize to me and just took the glass away like they was trying to hide it. DO NOT COME TO THIS PlACE! You’ll definitely regret with their customer service.
This has to be the worst place , we got in there first before the other customers came and the guy went to give them menu before we did . We sat there waiting for more then 10 minutes. Until a guy decides he notice us and just gave us the menu. Then Later we got the pho but didn’t received our basil or sprouts which they said they forgot about. Never coming back.
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. We came in with no welcome or any one to tell us what table to sit , waited for the menu @ least 10 minute long. Ask for a Togo box and bag , the young boy said okay but moved on to a different customer , without giving us our Togo box . We had to walk up there and get it ourself . WORST PLACE YOU CAN EVER GO TO WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE .
4% up charge because I pay by credit card is a ripe off. Some one has to investigate this place, seems like they are doing something illegal with tax. I do believe the purpose of up charge for using credit card so people have to use cash, with they can hide the income not paying tax. Customer service is horrible.
I tried different dishes from soup to family meal and they are EDIBLE and thats it. I feel like they use only 1 type of broth for all the soup dishes on the menu. Meats are not that fresh.
Bad service. So slow. I ordered one item and it took at least 30-40 minutes. Their food here is good but the service is so slow. The staff look like they don’t even want to be here.
I had some recommendations from a coworker that this place is good!!! I decided to give it a try and today I came in with my wife and kids!!! First waking in the waiter wasn’t greeting you properly but point scores the restaurant for us to sit!! I still want to give them a chance to tried out their famous dish which is Hu tieu my tho… mind you my tho was my home town back in Vietnam!!! Anyway!!! The food here are terrible!!! But just the hi tieu but my kids had rice and pork chop and it was tasteless!!! My hi tieu was so bad the seafood wasn’t cook properly and the soup bad was just awful!! Not even a spring rolls was decent This restaurant should be closed for bad food and bad customer service !!! Also I can tell the food was old!!! Strongly not recommend to anyone if you know what’s good Hu tieu is If Anyone want to try the Hu tieu my tho please go to garland “bep que” has the best Hu tieu !!
Hu tieu is not as good anymore. The broth tastes like it came from canned chicken broth. The flavors aren't there like they used to be. We're disappointed!
