Great bbq! Moist brisket, a jalapeño sausage, and some Rudy’s bbq sauce with some slices of bread is exactly what you need! I’ve eaten in or taken it to go. Not a huge fan of country music, but I will survive while I eat.
The moist brisket is orgasmic! I think i moaned a little bit the first time I ate it. Plus if your a overnight worker like me and cant find anyone to serve dinner at 7 am. Which is my 7pm. This place will do it so they will be getting my patronage quite regularly. The sides are so good I usually get a pint of potato salad and the one thing I wish with all my heart is that in the future they will incorporate some Mac n cheese . Otherwise this place is absolutely insane when it comes to brisket and ribs.
I attend a morning weekly networking meeting at this location. Although it's breakfast time, I cannot resist those saucy and tasty chopped brisket sandwiches!
All the food was fabulous, the meat was well-seasoned and had an incredible flavor. My personal recommendation is the brisket with the potato salad.
The food was delicious, fresh, and reasonably priced. The atmosphere was friendly and the staff was very professional. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked. The manager (Jay) was attentive in making sure we had a good meal as well as any add-ons or condiments. Overall, it was a great experience!!! I'll definitely be back at this location for great food and great service!!!!
I have been to quite a few Rudy’s locations in all the states they are in right now. My bias, it’s my favorite Texas barbecue place and hopefully it will come to California someday. PLEASE!!! This location as all I’ve been to was not disappointing, although it was not as clean as others. I have always had a good meal at any Rudy’s I go to. I think the one in Waco Texas is the best however, and the one in Colorado Springs is pretty darn good. I will share my pictures. The green chili stew is the best thing I’ve ever had. I always ask for the driest leanest meat I can get, I don’t like wet meat or meat with a lot of fat on it and they always give me the weirdest looks.😂 Anyway, they have always been very accommodating usually giving me the ends of the meat or the dry parts that they’re probably saving for the stew or something like that. Another great visit and another good meal thanks Rudy’s. Oh by the way if you’ve never had their breakfast tacos they are the best. Until next time!!
I really cannot say enough good things about this place. Always had seen it, but it wasn't until about 2 years ago that I finally tried it, and I can't believe I went so long without some Rudy's bbq!! Service here is always above and beyond ... from being greeted upon entrance and being asked if you're ok while seated and eating -- the customer service is top notch. Food is A M A Z I N G. You definitely get your money's worth here! People talk about the various bbq places in Texas and the well known ones in the Metroplex, but I have never heard people talk about Rudy's! Why?!? Put their food in your mouth and Rudy's name will be dripping out the corner of every Metroplex person's mouth!! I was at H** E** a few months back (wasn't my first time there) and I wanted to slap myself while there because of not just going to Rudy's! Pictures included are of Rudy's loaded baked potatoe with brisket and their sausage sandwich. They load it up here, and they load it up good! H** E** was a joke in comparison to Rudy's, and I know better now! Atmosphere here is always laid back and depending on the time of day, it can definitely get busy, but that doesn't take away from the good service and food you get here! They have breakfast tacos and they are mouth watering, delicious! Their tacos are small, but 2 of those beauties is usually enough because they are loaded up! Moist brisket, pork loin, and turkey here are pretty amazing, but honestly, what ever you get, you will not be disappointed!
We were craving for some bbq so we decided to check out Rudy’s and we were glad we did. The staff were really friendly. It was our first time and they guided us on how to order and even gave us alot of samples. We got the sausages and brisket and it was amazing. The sausages were probably the best sausages ive had. The brisket was so tender and smokey. The sides were delicious aswell. I would definitely recommend on getting the creamed corn.
I have tried their sausages and moist beef briskets and they are the bombs. Prices are decent and well way worth the money especially moist briskets. They are moist, juicy and tender, actually you dont need teeth to eat their briskets. Their meats are wayssss better compared to those bbq stores around. Been ordering here at least 5 times a months
Went in on my lunch break around 1140ish and received friendly and helpful service at the drive through! Food was excellent and the portions were great!
Great food and service. Had to start going here because Outlaws in Grand Prairie declined. Rudy's is worth the extra drive
When you tell someone about gas station barbque, they won't expect something this good. I know I didn't. Clean place, great BBQ pit feel, wonderful, quick service. Sausage and Brisket sandwich was fantastic. Even the gas pump was fast. I'll be back for sure.
I love Rudy's Breakfast tacos which you can also get in a wrap or bowl ranging from brisket, rudys signature chop beef, jalapeño sausage, bean and potato. Rudys breakfast is affordable and delicious. I only have had their breakfast but will definitely have to go for lunch and dinner.
We arrived today to sample for our catering to our wedding, and right off the bat the lovely to go girl, Sara E (I’m so sorry if I got your name wrong!!) went to go get her manager. Lacy came out and just told us to sit down and that she was gonna take care of us. They set us up with drinks and everything and gave us a sample of everything on their catering menu. The food was really good, I even found out I liked some new things and I definitely think that we will be choosing Rudy’s for our wedding! Between the amazing service not just from management but from ALL the employees, the busser etc we just had an extremely pleasant experience and can’t wait for the date to get closer! Thank you Rudy’s, and all the lovely staff!! Y’all rock!!!!
I heard good things about this place from some coworkers while I was in town so I went for dinner. They have a good selection of barbecued meats and sides; i like that you add your own condiments. Having lived in New Mexico for a number of years I would not have called that green chile, but it was very good and spicy. The beans were also just as good. And like the sign says - clean up your stuff (don't be that guy behind me who left all his stuff at the table despite signs all around the place).
Buying the full brisket uncut is by far the best price in the entire DFW Metroplex. Also fuel at the pump is the lowest price. The Brisket quality ranks in the top 5 or better, taste/ juicy/ tender, adding the price with that ranks Rudy's on I-20 service road in Arlington, Texas #1.
Greetings, I just purchased a smoked ham and after finally getting it it’s overcooked. We cannot serve this for dinner on Thanksgiving Day. This is the first and LAST time I will be ordering items for my Holiday dinner from here. I am so DISAPPOINTED. As a Manager, how can you package an item that looks like as this ham did and send it out to a paying customer? You and your staff had to have seen and known it was overcooked. But I guess it didn’t matter. If I could post the pictures I most definitely would. UPDATE ** I want to provide an update to my previous review. After my initial negative experience, the management team reached out to me personally to apologize asking how could they make things right. The head of management, Mr. Glen Loth followed up quickly with an online response requesting contact information and a copy of my receipt, which I sent along with a photo of the item purchased so they could fully understand what happened. I truly appreciate the effort and concern shown by Mr. Loth. He not only listened, but he took immediate action to correct the situation. We soon received a replacement, a perfectly smoked ham and a delicious dessert that exceeded our expectations. Thank you for standing behind your product and showing great customer service. Mistakes happen. Because of the response given by Mr. Loth, I (we) will continue to be a customers. Mrs. S. Sher Ms. Brea Sher
I ordered takeout for a corporate meeting with clients from overseas. Our guests wanted a real Texas barbecue experience and these guys delivered. Eric went above and beyond. The food was delicious and my clients were impressed. There was plenty left over to feed the guys in the shop as well. Eric is now my best friend and I will get him a card on his birthday
A group of us got together after our Saturday meeting around 12/1230p! We all enjoyed Rudy's BBQ! I had a chopped sandwich and beans and it was really delicious. One of my Sister's had a baked potatoe with brisket. 😋 I think I might try that next time! Best peach cobbler ever! 🤭 🤎🤎🤎
Ive been to easily 50 barbecue restaurants across the U.S. This "brisket moist" was hands down one of the best cooks I've ever had. The bark was absolutely exceptional. The bbq sauce is good enough they sell it on Amazon. The baby back ribs had a great texture. The flavor was a little bland to me. Needed to dip it in the sauce. I dont think they use much dry rub.
When I first heard “Country Store” and Bar-B-Q, I wasn’t sure what to expect. But stepping into Rudy’s in Arlington felt like entering a true Texas BBQ haven. The spacious, picnic-style seating immediately set a relaxed, welcoming tone—perfect for a casual yet satisfying meal. The self-service setup is a nice touch, letting you grab your own fountain drinks and load up on all the condiments you need. But let’s get to the real star: the brisket. I opted for the moist cut, and let me tell you, it was perfection—tender, smoky, and packed with flavor. It practically melted in my mouth, leaving me wanting more. Beyond the food, Rudy’s nails the atmosphere. It’s comfortable, friendly, and great for families, friends, or solo BBQ enthusiasts looking for a laid-back feast. If you’re in Arlington and craving authentic Texas barbecue, this spot needs to be on your list!
You pull up, you notice tell-tale signs that this place will be good: drive thru is full, old folk coming and going, and you enter the restaurant and you are bathed in an aroma of flavors and smoked meat. Food did not disappoint, can easily compete with any other bbq joint, easily. It’s that good. Moist brisket was amazing, the smokiness and flavors on the chicken were divine. They definitely don’t skimp on pickles, onions, jalapeños, etc. BBQ sauce galore at each table. Helpful staff checking in if everything is alright. Felt right at home. Only things I’d irk on are the sides are nothing to write home about, and the banana pudding could have had fresher bananas (some were browning). But who comes to a BBQ joint for sides and dessert? You come for the meats, and that is A+ quality.
I have driven past here a number of times off the I-20 in Arlington. I drove up from Stephenville with my son and decided to stop by. We are definitely barbecue fanatics and we're excited about finding a new BBQ joint. Rudy's is a cool place to visit. The interior is fun and eclectic and smells of barbecue. That's always a good sign. Just like any other BBQ place you order at the counter and can buy meat by the pound. Their prices are pretty good. I ordered a brisket slice sandwich and my son had the chopped brisket sandwich. Both were really good. However, the brisket is not as smokey as I like it but that's okay. It was still good. Next time I want to try out their smoked turkey. Rudy's is a fun place to visit and is right off the freeway. Definitely worth checking out. We didn't go into the store part. We'll do that next time.

Really enjoy coming here. My experience is always satisfactory. Though I don't frequent here often (due to distance from where I live), I've noticed that the moist brisket has very little brisket actually on it. Each strip is like 65% fat, 35% brisket. Its not the good fat either. Most of the fat is sort of like gristle.. so, instead of melting in your mouth, it's chewy. Maybe next time I'll order the lean I guess? Everything else is great. Warm and helpful staff, clean restaurant, soda fountains always work.
I’m gonna be honest. The food was so-so, but the service was EXCELLENT! I was honestly amazed by the service from multiple employees. The food will be subjective, but to anyone, the service will be above and beyond.
A nice BBQ place with many communal tables and benches. They offer bottled beer and soda on ice. The moist brisket is delicious as always. It has a smokey flavor to it and the rub on it is good. The cream corn is recommended. It is hot and sweet. The jalapeño sausage is okay. The pork loin and pork ham are on the dry side and they don't taste very good. I probably won't get them again. The place offers self service onions, jalapeños, and pickles. What I find weird is that they serve food on soda trays. I don't think those are the cleanest but I usually order togo so I don't have to worry about them.
Normally have good food but went early in their own morning and food was dry. Like they were serving last night's meat.
Rudy's is one of the Top 10 BBQ joints we went to in the DFW area and was really close to us while in Arlington, TX. They had good service and great food. My favorite was the Brisket and the pulled pork was really flavorful too. The ambiance was great and the beer tubs were filled with ice cold bottles and the condiments bar had great options to accompany your BBQ. Give it a try if you have not been there yet!
Pretty good bbq. I got the sausage sammitch and I liked it a lot. Paired it with the potato salad (it's ok) corn on the cob. Decent lunch, decent price.
Food was good. I was confused by the sauce coming in multiple little dipping sauces....I wish they had mac n cheese, or mashed potatoes. But their beans are delicious.
I really like Rudy's they have very high quality BBQ. I get 1/4 moist, 1/4 lean Beef brisket. The BBQ sauce is a really good. Great staff and open atmosphere. They give you buns instead of plain bread now for your sandwiches which is a plus. You can self serve pickles, jalapeños, onions and other garnish items. The bark on the brisket and the fatty bits are unexplainably lovely.
Came In hungry and left full for the whole day- the Turkey was a bit bland so was the brisket but what made it so good was their spicy BBQ sauce - my baked potato didn’t have much flavor and a bit cold - the banana pudding was good wish it had more vanilla wafers. Family of 4 expect to spend +100
First time there after wanting to go for years. The man behind the counter asked if we've ever been there before. After telling him no, he started telling us about the meats and giving us samples, which helped us decide what meat(s) to order. I was looking forward to trying the Banana pudding because no one gets right. The taste was there but the Bananas had turned dark Inside the cup under the pudding.
Food had a nice taste, very well priced. I was expecting a little more than just 8 slices of sausage on a toasted bun but for the price it seems appropriate. Cozy atmosphere. I didn’t care for the picnic tables and it being partially a gas station but very Texas to say the least. I’d return
Really great breakfast burrito! Stuffed with brisket! LOVED the red salsa! Good price!!
We loved this bbq. The location was nice, the service was excellent, food was as exceptional! Look I g forward to eating here again when in Texas
Good price and good ish food. Brisket is very fatty, but still taste good. I got the brisket sandwich and the bread was phenomenal, super yummy and had a slight sweetness. They have free condiments…
Great variety of breakfast tacos. Too bad they don't open until 7am, but it was worth thr wait.
I took a group of 10 people here for lunch. Its an odd mix of gas station, store, and restaurant. We tried a wide variety of items. The moist brisket was a bit dry. The baked potato was excellent…
food was good, but kinda pricey for the amount of food you get. Had a little wait time to get what we ordered.

Retro western barbecue restaurant. Atmosphere was classic old school barbecue pit. Immediately upon entering you could smell the aroma smoked goodness. I had a combination plate with baby back ribs and smoked sausage. I was somewhat a little disappointed on the texture of the ribs a little chewy but both of the home grown sauces were excellent. Now for the beef smoked sausage. Excellent! Deep smoked through flavor with a smooth robust taste. I ha d the plain but they also have a cheese infused version and a jalapeño infused version which should be interesting. All in all a good Texas barbecue restaurant. Not a lot of flash but good grub.
Haven't been here in years because my first visit for dinner was just ok. Nothing special. Their breakfast tacos are where it's at though. I've never bought them but I've had someone share their tacos from here with me on more than one occasion. Family recently chose this spot for lunch so I agreed to come. Well...disappointed. I got the brisket pulled pork sandwich. Soooo dry. Had to use a lot of sauce to help it. I was also disappointed that don't have fries. I typically get fries with my BBQ sandwiches. I told the staff I was shocked they don't have fries as most BBQ places do. They also agreed with me wishing they offered fries and one employee stated they wish they offered mac n cheese too. Oh well. I won't be back unless I'm up early enough and feel like the drive for the breakfast tacos. Oh almost forgot the rice krispie treat was great though. Has a smokey after taste to it tho lol... for obvious reasons. Staff was great too. Helpful and friendly.
I am Sorry but not, I only wanted some Ham, it was Dry. The person that weighed my ham laid it on the scale w/o a safe sheet of wax/parchment paper under it, I am that person that once I order I pay for it anyway. Had they listened closely, I said I will never come back.
I am so disappointed. Steam table bbq. Nothing had seen a flame, so sad. Ordered brisket, the kid said it was dry, moist brisket, kid didn't like it either, ribs (steam table😭) and sausage, kid liked it, but says it wasn't worth the trip. I will go back for peanut brittle though, it's like my grandmother's recipe.
First time eating here. The guy at the register who took our order.. Was super nice. We told him it was our first time and he gave us some samples to try. The turkey was delicious. The potatoe salad was also really good. We had ribs, sausage and ham. Ham was sweet. It was kind of expensive. But we wanted to try this place. Picnic style seating and plenty of parking.
I’ve been wanting to try this place forever! The bbq was very dry and disappointing. I had the baby back ribs, spicy sausage, turkey and the sliced brisket. The only meat that had flavor was the sausage, but it was a little too spicy. The turkey was second best, but the brisket and ribs needed lots of sauce. Unfortunately, the sauce just didn’t help the flavorless taste of the meat. I’m a positive note, the customer service was excellent, and I loved the inside of the restaurant.
Pull up for Diesel, which is actually the cheapest around at $3.25 vs others at $3.99 with the prices hiking like crazy, and meet the slowest pump on the planet. I mean it's so slow, I had time to go eat a BBQ sandwich, which they measured 3 slices of brisket, then weighed and with all the fat that was on it, it was HALF the size of what was actually cut. After eating HALF a sandwich, had time to go outside with the pump still going and at $74, over 20 minutes, I turned it off and left. Nice staff, but come on. If you're gonna sell BBQ by the slice, and be that stern, at least remove the stuff you can't eat and or don't want to eat, and for God's sake, fix the pumps! How old are they! Can't see myself coming back to this location.
Stopped here for the best Diesel price around. Had enough time to eat an entire meal if I was hungry and my tank still wouldn’t be full!! The pump can only do about 1 gallon a minute today. Beware of this and make sure you aren’t in a hurry to fill up.
First let me start with the pros the meat was very tender and the sissy sauce was good and thewait time not long. The cons were the meat was flavorless they don't offer onions or pickles which I found odd because all bbq restaurants I been to have pickles and onions as a side option. The price was what to be expected but I wouldn't say it was a bang for your buck. I have had better but it wasn't the worst I have had.
Having a drive-through at Rudy's is a major plus. The brisket is consistently good whether you get moist or lean. The cream corn is the best side, in my opinion. I keep these expectations every time …
Went in after a meeting and it was still breakfast time so they had breakfast tacos still. Ordered 3 sausage, brisket, egg and cheese tacos and it set me back about 15ish bucks. When I wa…
Nice people barbecue just not good brisket dry no bark no flavor you can do better pepper that bad boy and wrap longer come on.
Haven't eaten at Rudy's in a while. After today, I may never eat there again. "Moist" brisket was dry and needed salt terribly. This is unforgivable at $35/lb. As bad as the brisket was, the pork loin was worse. Overcooked and powdery dry. Simply awful. Previous visits are the only thing preventing a 1 star rating.
1st time there and they offered up samples They were amazing 😋... the brisket sample was so good we elected to have that however what we received was dry and chewy 😒 I went back and ask why and the do offer a moist juicy version for a dollar more so I purchased a 1/2 pound to share. I get back to my table and find what I have purchased was a 1/2 pound and over half of it was burnt fat and very little actual meat 😬😒😲. Do people really eat charred fat?... I mean a little is ok. SERIOUSLY DISAPPOINTED If only they would have filled my order with the same brisket they gave as samples we would have really enjoyed our meal. Bait and switched out of $40 🙄
Food is common bbq and way overpriced for what you get an. Decent flavor decent tenderness but nothing special. BBQ sauce is pretty generic.
So I visited this location after passing by and then checking the reviews. Immediately after walking in, I realized that the pictures were not from this location and probably used in all the franchise reviews. I purchased about $65 to sample a few items before I decided to return and write a review. The food is not fresh or warm when served. It reminds me of Dickeys or Honey Baked Ham textures. I ordered the pork ribs to be told they were not available at 2pm and a practically empty establishment. So I ordered the Baby Back Ribs, which resulted in sad bones with slithers of dried meat and brisket that didn't get any better. The sides were very lacking, so I tried the "New Potatoes" which were old potatoes simply boiled in water and then dipped in butter upon ordering. Other than that, the sauce was decent. The service was very blue and hairy, but they did what was expected. The atmosphere was basic and had gas pumps out front, where they had stickers to warn you about using your pin at the pump next to the available pin pad. I really wanted to find another BBQ place near the house, but this isn't it. Will not return or recommend.

Food was terrible - if you like Texas barbeque, this is not the place for you - otherwise it just what you would expect from a gas station serving food
Drive thru customer service is horrible, food is great. I probably wouldn't come back to this location, Burleson way better.
I really hate to say this because Rudy's been my favorite BBQ place. On this day 09/16/2023 @ 5:53pm. Guy took my money and fix my sandwich with the same gloves on. He actually had a attitude when …
We were staying around the block from them with a trailer. So always heard they where good. We purchased a bbq sandwich all the way and a 1/2 of a chicken and 2 Cole slaws. We got back to …
Ordered ribs, pulled pork, slice beef and beans. Not fresh on all these .
I have been going to this Rudy’s since they open and by far this was the worst BBQ I have ever eaten. The Ribs were not done they were to tuff to eat we literally throw them in the trash. The Brisket which we usually love was disgusting it was old and I was changed for pieces of fat as you can see. I would have taken it back but unfortunately I drove from Waxahachie!!!!
I visited this location 6/7 between 837 -843pm i SPECIFICALLY asked for a half pound of brisket which is $11.49, once I checked my receipt I was charged $15.17. I asked the girl (Server: Avery S on the receipt)did they go up on the meat, her response "no we measure the meat and we just went over a little bit" I'm sorry, so now Rudy's dictates how much a customer spends now? I told her I want to pay for a half of pound of brisket, if I wanted "just a little bit more" I would've asked for that. Then I handed her my card back, she comes back to window asking for the meat back, so they can do Lord knows what to the meat and hand it back to me. I just asked for a refund. First, no apology was made, they were at fault and why are you asking for the meat back. Also, I ordered a pint of chocolate pudding, it was just thrown together. It comes in an open type lid filled with whip cream but this time they literally just mashed it down with a flat lid. This was my local Rudy's, not anymore! Major disappointment that Rudy's would have such ppl working for them. Manager, if you're reading, PLEASE have your employees provide great customer service no matter what time of the day it is and treat customers like they would want to be treated. They asked to work there!
I cant reccomend rudys barbq. This was my first time ever ordering from them.I picked up food and my half chicken was burnt and almost unedible.I called the manager the next day, no accountability, no sorry, wanted me to bring it back to get a refund or remake ? Really that chicken is in the trash,What are going to do with it?This place is a joke.
I got the moist brisket and baby back ribs. Both item were driest and bland bbq I’ve had in probably 20 years when I tried bbq in California. I eat at different Rudy locations from the valley, Houston, round rock , and Tyler. All for 35 dollars.
First, I ordered a half pound of both brisket types, and they wrapped it butcher paper, THEN weighed the amount of meat of each. This led to me paying for 1.2 oz of butcher paper, which cost me a total of $2.15. Then, the 1/2 chicken I ordered was actually 1/4 chicken, as it was half a breast, a wing, and a piece of dark meat. They chopped it up enough to make it hard to decipher the amount while at the restaurant. However, they charged me the full $8.99 for it. Both of these are FRAUDULENT PRACTICES. The new potatoes were so over boiled that they tasted as if they came from a can. Not even frying them with spices could save them.
Stood at the counter for 10 minutes waiting for someone to take our order. One employee stood with her arms crossed looking into space but didn’t bother to acknowledge we were even there. We would have walked out but we were with another couple. The restaurant wasn’t even busy. The food was also cold. It was very disappointing.
Needed gas and how convenient to have gas available, along with a restaurant. Gas was the bait lol. Never been here before and won’t be coming back. Tried out the ribs, brisket, and sausage. I guess the parking lot being empty should have been a red flag. Stingy with the servings and most of the meat was filled with fat, even after asking for lean. Have spent less money elsewhere (Outlaws) and boy, better with everything compared to this place. Don’t waste your time or money here…if you need gas..fill’er up and fly outta there partna. Cream corn was pretty good, but that’s it!
Disappointed in food. Potato was hard and had that old yellow look. The girl cutting meat looked pissed. Food was made sloppy. Not worth the price. A 12 dollar potato and I had to trash it.
I was very disappointed with the quality of the food. I ordered my food through Uber Eats and I think they just give you anything because you're not there to check your food before you leave. When Uber Eats delivered my food to me I was really disappointed because the sliced brisket was overcooked and very dry. The peach cobbler was just a lot of crust and no peaches. I just wasted my money for some slop. I won't be ordering anything else from Rudy's and I definitely wouldn't recommend anybody else eat there.
Very, Very DISAPPOINTING Early Lunch Today at 10:30 A.M. Wasted $48.51. The Pork Ribs Were "Undercooked - Pink, Cold, Gummy Like Chew." Showed & Asked A Female Employee If She Would Like To Take A Bite, Which She DECLINED. She Explained The Pitmaster/Rib Cook Was New. NO EXCUSES, This Is Pork, You Can Get A Customer (Adult, Toddler, or Sr. Citizen) Sick or Put Them As An In-Patient To A Hospital via The Emergency Dept. If NOT Fully Cooked. I Explained To Her I BBQ Pork Ribs With The 3 hrs. (Once Internal Temp. Is 160 Degree F, Wrap Ribs In Foil), 2 hrs. (Once Internal Temp. 203 to 205 Degrees F), Unwrap To Foil Boat And Add Your BBQ Sauce & Leave On Pit for 15 to 20 mins. This Is A "No Brainer," We WILL NOT Be Returning To Rudy's BBQ For "Substandard" BBQ!!!! P.S.- Included Pics of Properly Cooked Pork Ribs And Dino (Beef Ribs) On My Weber Smokey Mountain & Performer Grill.Thank you. V/R, John C. "Doc" Padilla, HMC(FMF)/USN(RET)
We will never be coming back to Rudy's .. it is not the food quality, but their pricing scam .. we went for Brisket .. as we do .. and noticed today that if you want to moist brisket .. (fattier more flavor0 you pay $2 more as if it were DIFFERENT MEAT!! This is just plain unadulterated greed. Going to go up the highway a piece and get some Papa's Bar b Que where brisket is brisket same price and their ribs are sooo much better!
DISAPPOINTED and PISSED!! First time and last time ordering a Thanksgiving entree from here. I ordered a brisket and come to found out on Thanksgiving day they gave me a turkey breast. I called on Friday spoke to manager Erin, she asked me to take the leftover turkey breast I had and she would replace it with brisket. I told her it was 1/2 gone she said she understood to bring it. I got upset 😡 told I would be over in 30 mins and hung up. I arrived and it just got worse. The manager never apologized and seemed unconcerned and inconvenient. She just said "You have your receipt". I showed her my online receipt and I told her I only ordered brisket not sure how this could had happen. She just looked at my receipt, didn't say anything, and walked away to the back register. She took awhile and looked like she got other employees involved about the situation. I started to get angry as if I did something wrong. She finally walks over and still questions me asking "Did you have another order that day?". Now I got loud shook my head and told her "No, this was my first time ordering here and it would be my last time." She looked like a deer in headlights. And tried to explain "why" the amount of brisket she was giving me. I cut her off and told her "Let's just get this over with" I grabbed the bag and told her I will be calling corporate and giving her a review. I stormed out of there pissed and in disbelief!! Worst Customer service!! Fyi: I didn't get any refund not even partial. I received a 1/2 lb of brisket. And she kept my leftover turkey breast so watch out someone probably got my leftovers!!
Sliced Brisket sandwiches normally excellent, along with sides and green chile stew. I decided to get some chopped brisket to go to make brisket tacos at home. First time I’ve had their chopped brisket and that was the ABSOLUTELY WORST brisket I’ve ever had in my life! It was bone dry and chewy tough. I even tried drowning it in their BBQ sauce and it was AWFUL. DO NOT GET CHOPPED BRISKET TO GO. It’s exorbitantly priced and TERRIBLE to the point of being inedible. I question how this could possibly have been made fresh today.
