I had the tripe last night. It was fantastic. It was so tender, it melted in my mouth. First time I have been to Docas, I'll be back very soon.
Great little spot. Friendly service. Recommend for anyone who likes a smaller place to eat thats less crowded.
Had the T-bone steak with rice and beans Excellent
Great place. So good seafood (Ask for the shrimp grill) you will love it!!!! Broiled BRONZINO delicious!!!
Nice local spot to get authentic Portuguese food. Not too expensive, casual.
Really enjoyable place with good food! Recommend it. Friendly proprietors.
Food was delicious and well worth the wait on the busy day that I visited. The breakfast sandwich and coffee hit the spot!
Casual atmosphere traditional Portuguese food! Bring your own wine or beer and a great staff !
Amazing Portuguese food. BIG portions so order conservatively. Save room for dessert and coffee.
One of our favorite places. The food is delicious and service is great.
Great place to eat and drink my favorite restaurant! Great value for your money.
Great authentic food and atmosphere. Love skirt steak, clams, chirico
The food tastes good and fresh and the Portuguese wine is very good.
The food is delicious! Really the best Branzino I've tried. The owner is very nice, the service was amazing, don't have enough words to describe how great it was! Highly recommended!! We would definitely come back!
Food and drinks are always great! Topped off a Portuguese style steak with an espresso coffee. If your lucky you can catch a European soccer game while you eat lunch or dinner. Highly recommended
As a Portuguese Ossining native it's almost required for me to make regular visits to Docas. The people and staff are very friendly and welcoming, and the food is a perfect blend of Mediterranean flavor, featuring delicious meats and irresistible seafood (I recommend the clams in garlic sauce.)
I loved this place. The staff was friendly, the food was excellent, and they had e Sporting CP game on!! Can’t wait to go back!
Home cooked Portuguese food in casual setting. I've eaten here many times and always been happy. Rabbit stew is great. And their Octopus is amazing. Docas is an Ossining institution. Superb.
We had a great experience. Bruna was by far the best waitress we have had in a long time . We will definitely come back again and recommend to friends and family.
Great Portuguese food. Traditional dishes on a daily special and awesome fresh ingredients. At home feeling welcoming to everyone. Laid back and great service.
Fresh branzini and yummy francesinha. Would recommend these two! Personally did not love my febras a portuguesa, but my dining companion liked it. Would come back, recommend :)
Serves traditional Portuguese food that is simply to live for. Try their exquisite hand made from scratch flan. They make really good traditional deserts. I love their supperbe steamed little neck clams in garlic sauce. And their mix grill is mouth watering. Has a full bar and makes great cocktails. My compliments to the chef for best no frills no thrills best home cooked meals.
Came here on Black Friday. Very good bronzino, octopus salad, clam, vegie soup, and egg tarts.
Consistently delicious food at Docas. Appetizers of Cod Fritters and Clams in garlic sauce are so good. For entree, order the Cod Fish Lagareiro's Style or Grilled Branzino. Service is always friendly.
It's like a trip to Lisboa. I love this place. Food is authentic and staff are actually Portuguese. I always order the bifana sandwich (off menu item and garlic clams. it bring me back to my time in Lisbon. Just need some ginja and the experience will be complete.
We loved the food and the lady who served us. We definitely will be back soon. Very soon
These guys are legit. I have been coming here since 2009 and Abel,Jorge and the girls always received me and my family very well. The ambience and the delicious food is the closest you get from Portugal. I definitely love come here with my family. Thank you all!
I loved the BYOB and the food. My first time at a Portuguese restaurant. I loved the fish.
Service was very good. The cod fish appetizer and Grilled Red Snapper were excellent.
Rosares baby pig at his Best, Docas the Máster , increíble Lunch.

We were up in Ossining for the Weir Tour sponsored by Friends of the Old Croton Aqueduct. Ossining is a very cute little town right on the river. In the town square, this restaurant stood out for its European vibe. Inside, people really were using Portuguese a lot, and Portuguese CNN was on the television. We were immediately served olives and bread with vinegar and oil. Yummy! I had the rabbit stew. What a dish! Cooked similar to how my Texas grandmother did it, gosh, 30 years ago. Just one waitress was working the floor, but she served us all effiecnyand was friendly. This seems a gem for the town square. I’d definitely go again.
Looking for authentic Portuguese food? Allow me to recommend Docas for you...you cant go wrong with their entrees of either meats or seafood...grilled branzini is excellent...on Saturdays they have dobrada, which translates to tripe...and if you find their Osso Bucco on Sundays, you HAVE to get it...homemade desserts and great place to chat a soccer game...or just "hear" Portuguese ppl be...Portuguese
Awesome Portuguese food. They need to have Piri Piri available but otherwise, optimo!
Having had Portuguese food straight from the source, I can say that the food here is very authentic. The bacalao (cured cod fish) was perfect and their rendition of francesinha was very reminiscent of the version served in Porto. The server we had was super friendly and the atmosphere felt like a local family restaurant where the townsfolk came everyday.
Amazing Seafood and Meats. My favorite are grilled prawns ( ask for them) and short ribs. Very authentic. Staff are the sweetest . We opted to do 7 fish celebrating here! Natas are so good!

european village bistro atmosphere, the best grilled jumbo shrimp in westchester. small but wonderful, rich food. unfortunately no alcohol served but byo.
If you want traditional Portuguese without the fluff, here it is. Cozy setting, good service, just good food. Ambience is somewhat missing, but look past it and enjoy.
Food is more than acceptable but a bit heavy. Decor could be improved. Seems to be a family owned business.
Solid family style Portuguese food. Do not miss grilled fish and/or grilled octopus
Great little place, with small town ambience. Good salad, drinks, and food overall. Friendly service. May experience some busy times during peak hours. Can be and feel crowded. Still a nice experience for a reasonable price.

Fabulously spicy Quail ( pan fried), You'll be dunking all your bread on the sauce.
Food is good at fair price but very limited on wine. Only had 1 type of red portugese house wine. Service decent. Not a fancy place but good if you're hungry.

We got takeout so I can’t review the service or atmosphere. The hummus and eggplant salad did not taste homemade.
Food was subpar...could be just a bad but the dish I ordered wasn't quite right
Rolled the dice and unassumingly walked in after a hike. As a main, I ordered the grilled bacalao and for appetizer was shrimp cakes but disappointed with both. The shrimp cakes were cooked from frozen, tasted bland, and you’re paying for dough/filler. The bacalao was even more disconcerting; no love given to the fish or the vegetables it came with. I only noticed the specials written on a white board in the back of the restaurant which is also hard to decipher as the markings were faded and nobody cared to mention it.

Have been there several times. Service was never exemplary. On 6/17/2023, however, touched a low point when I politely asked the host (who is probably the owner) for a paper towel to clean my wet chair. Overly stressed and aggressive, he accused me of complaining. Told me that the door was open. Could not figure out what I could have done differently. With two children, my wife and I had no option but to get up and leave. Did not want our children to see us putting up with abusive behavior. Avoid.
