We had lunch at this wonderful restaurant and were truly amazed by the kindness of the owner, the food, the ambiance, and the care with which the products are selected and served. It's a wonderful place; all the dishes we tried were delicious, and the portions were generous. A special mention goes to the apple juice, as well as the entire beverage menu, including beers, kombucha, and liqueurs. A place we love!
Good morning! Last night, a fantastic dinner with excellent dishes and a somewhat special atmosphere. Compliments to the chef and the hostess who was quick and precise with her orders. Compliments to the restaurant.
A very cute and cozy restaurant. The portions of meat dishes are huge (one serving might not be enough for two people), and the prices are reasonable. They serve delicious local specialties and have a book corner. They also host some local art events. If you're taking a walk in the park in Arona, I highly recommend eating here! Super cute place and really nice service, anche i cibi buonissimi 🤤
Excellent restaurant housed in an old farmhouse, serving Trentino/Tyrolean cuisine. The dishes are delicious and well-executed, including the goulash, dumplings, and all the desserts we tried. The place is rustic yet welcoming, with informal service and a very friendly and knowledgeable owner. The wine list is good, and their beer is excellent, too. Large and convenient parking lot.
A beautiful location in a farmhouse in the hills above Arona. A family atmosphere, inspired by Trentino, where the chef is from. A good selection of dishes, some unique, and in my opinion, plentiful and well-prepared. Excellent value for money, and the staff are professional and friendly. My family comes here quite often, and I'll be back. It's also a good place for family lunches. Convenient parking.
A very unique place, we were welcomed into a family atmosphere that immediately made you feel at ease. The food was very good and the portions were generous; you definitely won't leave on an empty stomach. Dogs are welcome, which is a huge plus for me. We'll definitely be back when we're in the area again.
I discovered this place by chance and it was a pleasant surprise. Excellent, friendly, and fairly quick service. Excellent value for money. For a Trentino restaurant in Piedmont, I take my hat off to it. I highly recommend it.
Very Original Italian restaurant. Had a great time and great food! Owners are super attentive and the chef is an artist.
Very nice waitress (think it was the boss/boss' wife). Good service, fair prices and something special to eat which you don't expect near the Lago. Huge dish, rustic, but great. The old guest room invites to stay a bit longer and have one of the local beers or wines.
What a meal! We booked early and were the first to arrive. The location is surrounded by greenery and easy to reach. The very kind owner helped us choose a table, brought the menus, and provided us with water (not bottled, but excellent). We skipped the appetizers to dig into the spinach dumplings, delicious, and the venison stew (so good it melted in your mouth): generous and delicious portions. A Tyrolean dish, a one-course meal, rich and made with quality ingredients. We then treated ourselves to dessert: a dreamy strudel and a delicious Sacher torte. All accompanied by the house red wine, highly recommended. In short, between the excellent food, the value for money, and the quick and friendly service, this place is absolutely worth a try. We will be back as soon as possible!
Best dinner I had while visiting Arona. Small place with excellent service and big portions.
What an amazing lunch. I searched the Internet and found this lovely little local restaurant. It was worth the steep climb on the bicycle to get to this little gem. Far from the maddening crowd and tourist hotspots by the lake and better for it. The lady in charge was welcoming and charming. The food was a picture on a plate and delicious.

A wonderful place to spend time enjoying good food and a family atmosphere. The attentive and friendly staff complements everything. The dishes are delicious and varied. The meat is high-quality and the pasta dishes are truly delicious. The prices are truly fair. I will definitely be back. Recommended!

We stumbled upon this trattoria, looking at the excellent reviews, where everything seems to have stood still for a long time. It's a blast from the past and... Trentino in Piedmont! The menu is short, with just a few, very well-stocked dishes. We ordered a Trentino dish with various cured meats, sausages, pancetta, stewed beans, fried onion rings, and a dish of baked pork shank with potatoes and rosti. Everything was simply fabulous!!! The lady in the dining room takes care of the customers with kindness and energy, making you feel right at home. Wonderful. If we're ever back in the area, this is a must-stop.

Nice restaurant with convenient outdoor parking. The dishes are all excellent, from the dumplings to the goulash, from the appetizers to the desserts... kudos to the chef! The service was prompt and professional, although I did get a couple of rude comments from the waitress. The prices are fair for the quality and quantity, but I should point out that the portions are very generous. Overall, a great experience; I'd go back! Responding to the restaurant's comment -> I left a 4-star review. What do you do? You ignore the positive things, responding in all caps only to the waitress's point and making veiled accusations when I asked questions. This perfectly demonstrates your attitude, and from now on, you'll lose a customer.

Looking for a nice place others than near the shore and guided by the good reviews, we landed in La Cascina, after reserving. This is the type of occasion when I wonder who the hell is writing these marvelous reviews... I mean, the restaurant has a picturesque position, looks welcoming once you are in the yard, and remains the same inside. But this is where the good news end. Since it is a place advertising with his Trentino/Südtirol identity, I had no hesitation in what to order, a 100% traditional meal combining pork nuckle, sausages, beans, cabbage, polenta and so on. Nothing fancy, just a sound mountain meal you expect to overwhelm you with different flavors. A pity that everything was extremely dry, salted, combined with herbs I don't think they belong there. A cruel lack of freshness feeling. And I was really hungry. The other choices we had on the table amplified this sensation: a seemed like cooked last week chicken and a risotto which we simply couldn't eat. And even you don't expect from the house wine to win some wine testing award, a pleasant experience should be granted, otherwise it is like you don't give much for your house reputation. So, for me a big disappointment, at least for what we ordered on that day.
