This was the first place we went after arriving at Arona. The ambiance-is cozy cool choke full of amazing pastry and espresso. Up stairs is a slick modern lounge. We went back four times. The friendly staff remembered us. They last day we had to check out of our Air B&B -at 10:00am. They allowed us to stow our small bags up stairs closet until after dinner! While we really enjoyed everything we tried, we especially love the Capucinos, Cream puffs- amazing.
Stopped here on a day trip before the Airport and had a lovely experience here at Madis. The staff were extremely friendly and helped explain the different sweets they offered, everything was fresh and delicious - we got the chocolate ciambella and 2 filled croissants - the coffee was the best we had all through our Italy trip! Excellent seating upstairs to sit and enjoy the lake

Stylish and cosy café with unbelievably tasty aperitivo and fantastic drinks. Their coffee is also great and they have beautiful brioches.

Nice coffee shop with interesting pastries and good outdoor seating.

Decent pastries, but not the best in the area. Coffee was pretty good.
Terrible, microwave heated food, nice view.
Dissapointing. The pie tasted old and stale, nothing fresh about it. For the high prices they charge, I expected real quality, not this. Feels like another place trying to pass off “fake gourmet” as a trend, but it just doesn’t work here. Definitely not worth the money.
The food was great, but the staff moves slow, they got our order wrong and it's overpriced.
The croissants were very good! However, we let the servers know that one of us has a milk allergy and she wanted a soy cappuccino. When the coffees arrived we asked which one was made with soy milk to make sure but he gave the wrong one. The person with the allergy had an allergic reaction. They did react very well when we informed them of the situation. We are disappointed that they did not take much care in this delicate situation. We hope that in the future they can take customer’s allergies more seriously
The plates are industrial and warm up then just transfer to a plate, i don't recommend Madìs Sweet Bread Bar if you look for a real cooked food
We were ignored and left unserved.
Caffe, meh, waiter's mood, double meh, feeling upon exit: prolly won't be back.
