An absolutely fantastic experience! From atmosphere to service, to formidable food from excellent local and seasonal ingredients! They went above and beyond for our celebration and also accommodated our children! We ended up returning again during our week in the area as no other restaurant experience came anywhere close! We left feeling like family and dream of coming back again!

The woman who served us was incredibly friendly, funny and gave a lot of information about the food she served us. The food was an adventure. A good mix of the traditional and experimental; surprising interesting new tastes, textures and colours. We had a wonderful night!

This restaurant is a gem! We chose this place based only on the rating and the distance away from the lake to avoid some of the crowds. The staff and the food are fantastic and I have so far not found a better restaurant near Arona. The approach to many local ingredients is very satisfying and is certainly aligned with the restaurant's description of creative and modern. The chef does well to highlight the flavors in interesting ways that pair well together. The staff were friendly and go out of their way to make sure you enjoy the experience. The wine may seem on the pricer side of what you may expect to pay at a typical trattoria, but I believe it's fairly priced for the quality and vintage. We ordered a bottle with the help of the staff that paired very well with our selections. Next time we return to the area will opt for the tasting menu for the full experience! Thank you to the chef and wait staff for creating such a wonderful dinning experience!

We were looking for a restaurant in the area and stumbled upon STRATTORIA - what a find! The gracious host squeezed the 2 of us in despite a busy Sunday lunch crowd. We were presented with starters compliments of the chef - excellent ! We then shared an wonderful beef tartare followed by a risotto porcini - the latter requiring 30 minutes to prepare so you knew it was fresh. Numerous desserts followed with an espresso . The whole dining experience was explained to us us by a charming young lady who spoke impeccable English. She even shared some funny stories of eating endless bowls of potato and leek soup in England while learning the language. The meal was not inexpensive but I would rate value for money VERY high. Highly recommended for a long leisurely lunch.
