Really good solid diner with a lot of diner food classics. This place has been around forever and the inside hasn’t changed that much. The staff are super friendly and they know all their customers really well. They make their food all in-house. I really like their soups the most. Their beef barley soup is really excellent. All of their sandwiches including their egg sandwiches are really well done professionally done and very nice. Good place to sit down for breakfast lunch and dinner. They have daily dinner specials All made in the house. This is a great place to go people viewing as a lot of locals are here and it’s a real authentic New York local scene.

Place is usually busy during breakfast and lunch. Open seven days a week. Specials Monday through Friday.Food is decent. I usually have eggs or pancakes for breakfast and for lunch cheeseburger deluxe. High traffic area next to last stop on A train and last stop for a beach bus to Q-53. Hence the name. Block away from beach.

Sit down at counter or tables, can get crowded. Food is OK and cheap, coffee is hot and everyone is nice. Ask for cheese fries. Connected to the A/S subway station. Very casual, good for families.

Pros: one of the few original places here in Rockaway still serving great breakfast at a reasonable price. Portions are great and the food (breakfast- I haven’t eaten anything else here) is always fresh. Cons: not the best ambiance (how they keep prices low - next door bagel place is gorgeous but you are paying triple the price) service is relatively slow, have to ask for checks extra water or coffee etc - mind you it’s not a big place. Have to double check the charges. Twice now I’ve been overcharged and had to bring it to their attention. So pay attention to your bill but enjoy the yummy breakfast.

Decent diner, decent service, decent food, so on. It's a local diner and feels as such. Don't expect anything special. Service can be sluggish when the summer crowds are around.

Breakfast taste great and depending on the day service is s not good. The middle aged woman who is there during the morning hours during the week is rude over the phone and in person to certain patrons especially of color.

The food is actually good. But a certain waitress that works there with dark long hair seems unfair. I went in to dine in and was told I had to get my temperature taken and give my name and cell phone number. Three other customers came in after me and was also dining in and not one of them get their temperature taken. It seemed racial due to the other customers were caucasian and I'm african american. She (the long dark hair waitress) wasn't even attentive. Didn't offer/ask if I needed anything else and just gave the check. Totally disgusted by her. I've been other times and was treated like family. I don't think I will be spending any more more money there.

I usually order here or sit in with my family I was called today saying that there's an Uber limit on orders they need to be 15 or more and I was told I didn't leave a tip I usually tip cash or uber has me tip after the delivery is completed They keep saying its Uber but on the app it shows that the staff is delivering the food not an Uber rep They are pretty good for breakfast here any other meal isnt all that great maybe a burger and fries I just find it bothering that I am being called and lied to about the delivery process because a tip wasnt placed and I have to explain I tip after or with cash as usual I told the partner to cancel the order they said the food was already made I will be picking up next time This was a little off putting for me The delivery person also barked at me there's a minimum and was nasty I said that settings needs to be placed on the app and he spoke over me I told him there goes your tip and he cursed at me the food is not that great to be treated this way probably won't even bother going back theres other diners in the area

Such a disappointment!!! Snotty, lazy, staff that could have cared less that we came in. Restaurant was empty at 5:30 Saturday night probably because no one greets you, tables were dirty and they ignore you. Floor was filthy. 3 staff doing nothing and looking to do less. Too bad. Owner needs to see how much damage poor wait staff is doing. Food is usually really good IF you can get it. Gonna stick to take out - if I go back.

The worst experience I have ever had in in dining was on 3/2/24 approximately 11:30am. I live in the area and occasionally come with my wife and friends. The waitress with long black braided hair waited on me this day. Here is a break down of my awful experience. -- my waitress is cleaning my table and instead of gathering the food debris and picking it up she swipes the food debris in my direction onto the floor. I found this odd. -- my waitress brings out breakfast with condiments. I noticed the syrup dispenser sliding mechanism was missing no big deal, half way through my meal I was hoping for another cup of coffee. -- my waitress was socializing with two other tables and also had the time to go outside but never once approached my table for another cup of coffee nor to check on how my meal was going. I believed this to be a common courtesy. Every other time at your establishment or any eastablishment I was given that courtesy. I got the attention of the other waitress and asked for a cup of coffee and she looked extremely uncomfortable with my request. The coffee never came. -- Back to the syrup. When pouring the syrup onto my plate water comes pouring out of the dispenser how does water get into a syrup dispenser. I still did not get the attention of my waitress but the attention of the other waitress who hurried the replacement syrup. --The only other time my waitress came to my table was with the check. No apology. No explanation, nothing. If I could give a rating of less than zero for the service and atmosphere I would have. Shame on me for leaving a tip. To all patrons that are new and frequent this establishment be aware. To the owner and manager this is no coincidence long black braided hair waitress is dangerous for your establishment and possibly your patrons.
