First time here and I heard it was good but I try not to listen to the hype. I ordered their cheeseburger and spicy loaded fries. I was happily surprised what the spicy loaded fries surpassed all expectations and the cheeseburger matched my expectations. I highly recommend trying the spicy loaded fries and if you don't like spicy foods, the loaded fries are also delicious!

Every time I go here quality is exactly the same. The kitchen staff is always in work mode. I was greeted by Ayana and Matthew today. Both so welcoming and professional. Had multiple orders and everything came out just as it was supposed to. They were on point. Place is very clean and well kept. I love the super simple menu. You do not have to read a novel to decide on what you want… Burgers and fries are exactly how you want them. They are popping up all over the place for a reason. I tried to find a reason not to give 5 stars but couldn't. First and foremost the food quality - burgers are amazing. The taste is so good. It's top of the top even though they are pretty basic. They messed up my order and gave mine to someone else perhaps because they got the names mixed up or something but not sure. Due to this the cashier gave me an extra fries for free and all in I got my order pretty quickly after that. The restaurant has plenty of places to sit if needed if you need it even though it's pretty plain. They gave a local artist free bags of food who was outside performing as well. It's obvious the staff is happy to work there which is a great sign. The food is really tasty. Next time though I will order more if I'm hungry because a double with fries wasn't enough to fill me up. It's not quite a five guys in terms of size but it tastes better for what it is. Price is relatively reasonable compared to similar things. Definitely will return when possible. The burger is extremely greasy.

The verdict: these lil smashers are definitely on par w/some of the best in the city. Personally there's others higher up the list but these burgers dnt play no games.... Really good quality beef smashed thin n crispy, smothered in cheese w/ special sauce onions & pickles. Theres great balance here when you bite into one of these pillowy potato rolled skinnys. The sauce has great flave and isn't overly sweet, the onions are like tiny flavor crystals burstin in your mouth and the pickle cuts thru the grease just right. Really solid fries as well. These are a winner n house-able, top 3 "smashburger"s I've had so far. Price/Size are on the level w/most any smashburger spot in the country. Place is clean and the servers move lines quick.

Very Good Burger for a Fair Price!!! It’s a pretty straight forward menu of cheeseburger with toppings and French fries , a burger joint for a quick bite when you’re not in the cooking mood! lol Burger it’s juicy and well seasoned, beware of the weekend nights, they’re VERY BUSY and the staff seems a little overwhelmed by getting hounded by an army of delivery workers. The inside is white walls and white tables as you would expect from a mainly order-to-go environment. 4 stars!!!

Solid smashed burger patty can’t go wrong service is good sometimes they do have an attitude, but they do try their best. The burger is flavorful and honestly it never misses would highly recommend. I especially love that they’re open late.

First time visiting 7th Street Burger. Came here for a Yelp event. Got the cheeseburger and impossible burger combo. Classic burger and fries, simple and good. Smashed burger patty, with sauce and pickle on a potato bun. Fries were crisp and chewy, and it's a big portion. The burger was greasy, moist and flavourful. Potato bun was soft and chewy, and the combo meal was very filling. I'm not a huge fan of the minimalist decor, and the bathroom floor got wet at some point so I didn't feel so comfortable stepping in there, but Overall, I enjoyed the food and time there. Staff was helpful and nice. Easy location right on 30th Ave and nice to have one in Astoria.

I came here during Yelp Elite event week and it was my first time ever trying their burgers. The restaurant was clean and lots of seating. The bathroom was clean despite the garbage can was stacked with paper. I ordered a double cheeseburger without the caramelized onions and pickle and fries. I loved the fries!!!! I can imagine if it came with truffle and Parmesan it would have been perfect! I did enjoy the burger but not how greasy it was. I also forgot that it had sauce already and I put ketchup inside so I didn’t fully enjoy the taste of the burger. I did try my boyfriend’s burger which had the onions and pickle and it was good! Very savory and juicy that’s for sure! I would def like to come back again!

Eh. People online said this was reminiscent of In-N-Out but that’s an insult to the quality and freshness of in-n-out and gross over praise of this place. It’s a “fast”, somewhat greasy burger, with a surprisingly long wait (given there are two items in the menu, fries and burgers, that’s it). The fries were very crispy but again, greasy. Also frozen fries 😔 fine but not great. Open late so 🤷🏽‍♀️

I’m coming into my experience with some food sensitivities, the more important one is potato. Have to avoid it. They don’t have any bun option other potato bun or no bun. I knew this before ordering. I ordered extra onions and pickles, which were upcharges, but did not make it to the burger, neither did the sauce. I’ve ordered a few times and I’ve had good and bad experiences and I’ll still order from them again.

Ordered in person, took 30 minutes for a double cheeseburger and fries and it wasn’t particularly busy in there. The burger was solid at least, but the fries were room temperature.

You get what you pay for. A little overpriced for a smashed unseasoned patty with cheese onions and some sauce. Essentially you’re just paying for the hype. Very greasy but still delicious. Would get five stars if the price was reasonable for the food.

I don't think it lives up to the hype at all. I tried it twice because I was really hoping it would be better, but it just wasn't. Both times I ordered my burger with extra pickles (and paid extra for it) and didn't even get any pickles at all. The burger looked like it had been thrown against the wall before being put into the bun. First time, the burger didn't look cooked enough. Second time, it looked like it was cooked too long. Fries were alright. Staff is very polite and friendly though.

Food is great when things go great. When they forget your food in the stapled bag and have to come back 15 minutes later, they’ll hand you the now-cold burger they forgot to include in the first place, to go with your now-cold fries. Edit: they didn’t even give me a bag. She just handed me the burger to take back home.

Don’t order from Uber Eats because it will take them A FULL HOUR OR LONGER to make one goddamn burger. Order due at 3:08pm (30mins after order) and arrived at 4:08pm

I ordered online and there was an item (which I paid $5+ for) missing from the order, upon delivery. The delivery man told me to call the restaurant. When I called the restaurant, there was no option to speak to a real person on the phone. It's just a corporate phone number which prompts you to press a number and then you receive a text message with a link to a website to make a complaint online. Absolute BS. Will never order from here again.
