If you’re looking for authentic Mexican cuisine look no further. Liked it so much I returned a 2nd time during my visit. The 2nd time there was live entertainment. A little loud but good overall

Best taco truck (and now restaurant) in the area. We've tried them all. But El Rey is the most authentic and delicious. The truck is no longer located on the corner of Lake Worth road and Military Trail- it's parked outside their new restaurant, which is nearby and allows for indoor seating. So happy to see them expand their business- it's well deserved!

Amazing authentic and tasty Tacos. It doesn't look like much of a spot compared to next door. However, the El Rey Del Taco is absolutely better. I tried one of each taco and added red salsa.

Wow, the food here is amazing! Picked up a burrito which was the size of a mortar shell! That alone would have made a wonderful and filling dinner but no, my buddy decided to order tostada's as well... Amazing! I ate everything since it was so delicious and am struggling to not fall asleep😅. There was only one group ahead of us and our order was ready quite quickly. The person taking or order was patient and friendly too! Will definitely be making a return visit to this delightful food truck/stand/shop again very soon, thanks! 👍

This place was slamming! I heard it from a couple locals while on a job and it was well worth the stop. They have a pretty good selection of tacos and some other plates. Check it out if you're in the area, worth stopping over other taquerías.

So delicious! The people that run this truck are kind and helpful, plenty of seating and ice cold drinks. Definitely going back. We had the tacos and a chicken quesadilla, their carnitas are one of the best I've ever tried.

Update: I was confused the second time I tried finding this place. There is another truck on the block but the food is nowhere near the food at El Rey Del Taco. If your plate doesn't come with a line or radish, then you're at the wrong place. ____________________________________________________ I went to this place once by accident. But now that I look it up, it takes me to the 4040 s Military Trail address. The truck and food presentation doesn't look the same. Can someone please help me understand?

Very authentic Mexican restaurant. I ordered chicken fajitas. They did not give me chips like most restaurants do. It came with rice and beans. It came with a corn tortilla instead of a flour tortilla. The chair was very wobbly. I probably will not go again. It was okay but nothing to rave about.

Good food and great service! Don't ask for iced tea It tastes like it was sitting there for awhile. Get an Agua Fresca instead I ended up ordering a Pineapple Agua fresco. It was good. Food was great!

I went to their truck which used to be off lake worth road but is now outside the restaurant a little further west on lake worth. I’ve been to it a couple of times and it’s very consistent. Their meat is fresh and your order comes out fast

This place makes great margaritas! Tacos and steak are flavorful! Fajitas is okay. They need to jazz up their fajitas. It doesn’t come with any pico de gallo or any sides other than the meat and tortillas. Overall, it’s a very authentic taco place to try. We will come back and try other stuff from the menu.

I always go to another taco spot but a friend suggested this one and it was oh so good. My favorite by far was the barbacoa taco. I also go the melon Fresca it was not my favorite. The flavor was good but I personally couldn’t get past the consistency of the drink. I will be trying another flavor next time. This was my first visit to the Lantana Green Market, which on a Friday evening turns a small public area into a fantastically exciting party. Tonight was Havana Night celebrating a locals birthday and Cuban Culture. Filled with local vendors such as Emilio and his family churning out some homemade fantastic jams and other subsides, to a charming young lady selling insanely good homemade cookies and a wonderful older man selling insect eating plants. What did it for me was, aside from the fire eating belly dancer, was the rotating spit of Pastor from the folks at El Rey Del, which have their flagship truck parked on Military ave in West Palm Beach. It’s hard to find a true pastor down here like you know and love in Mexico, but it was exciting just to see it spinning. The trio pictured consisted of a chorizo, carnitas and of course the pastor. All were served on warm fresh tortilla and had the fresh grilled onion and homemade hot sauces that are all delish. The chorizo wasn’t crispy enough for me (even though I asked for a bit more char) and the carnitas was a tad dry. The pastor, however, did it the job thoroughly and satisfied that craving. A very lovely evening indeed.

I visit your place on Friday, 26 April I was with my two kids we enjoyed the food ,service was excellent, but I have to let you know that import beer prices are very ,very extremely expensive. A beer called “Modelo” cost 7.00 dollars,.. not even in the luxury place on the downtown, cost 7.00 dollars a beer, I love your place. Food is good. Service is good but I will consider to sit down again. I love Modelo and corona beer but 7.00dollars is extremely expensive.

The food was very good, the issue I had is my wife ordered a margarita, my son wanted a mango daiquiri, my wifes margarita with alcohol was 11.99$ and my son's mango daiquiri that came in a foam cup was 15.99$ no alcohol, I told the waitress and she told me it's normal, can someone from the management explain to me, since the waitress couldn't.

I’m giving this 2 star because the inconsistency is ridiculous. Today, I visited the taco truck outside El Ray de Taco, and unfortunately, I was disappointed with the food, as is often the case, this was around 5-30pm. The food itself tastes good and the wait time is usually fine, but that doesn’t matter when the main item I order is never the same. I always order a burrito, and every single visit it’s a gamble. Sometimes it’s a normal size, sometimes it’s small, and other times it’s unbelievably small, short, and thick like it was rushed and cut off early. You’re paying the same price but getting completely different portions depending on the day, and that’s not acceptable. On top of that, the burritos are clearly rushed. They’re wrapped so poorly that they start falling apart immediately, with food spilling out everywhere. Half the time I’m eating, the burrito is breaking apart in my hands. And to make it worse, the tortillas are sometimes stale and slightly hard instead of soft and fresh, which just ruins the whole thing. This place could be good, but the lack of consistency, rushed preparation, and stale tortillas make it frustrating every time I go. I shouldn’t have to wonder what kind of burrito I’m getting when I order the same thing every visit. Two star until this is fixed.

I visited the food truck, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The cashier was on the phone chatting and left me waiting for over five minutes before I could place my order. After finally ordering, I had to wait further, but then another customer arrived and was immediately served—receiving her food before me, despite me having been there for 15 minutes already. While the food was decent, the customer service was unacceptable.

This place was good when it was parked at Military Trail and Lake Worth, but they move right next to the restaurant they have dropped in quality. The girl at the front of the truck won’t acknowledge you, takes your order with an attitude. I ordered 5 tacos and was very disappointed the food didn’t look right and the meat was dry and lacked flavor, their melon water use to taste good but now it tasted spoiled. For the price you pay you would at least expect better it’s no longer worth it. This will be the last time I come to the taco truck and restaurant

I’ve been coming to this place for over 5 years, and I always enjoyed their tacos — they were good. But today, I decided to try their burrito for the first time, and it was absolutely ridiculous. There was barely any meat inside. Even with my glasses on, I couldn’t find it! Instead, it was stuffed with extra, extra lettuce — like a salad wrapped in a tortilla. This was, without a doubt, the worst burrito I’ve ever had in my life. I’m extremely disappointed, and I have no intention of ever coming back. If there was an option to give ZERO stars, I absolutely would — but since I can’t, they’re getting 1 star from me.

First time here and I don’t think I’ll never come back again to this place. The lady who was taking the order at the cashier inside the truck was super rude and doesn’t know what is customer service at all. No manners whatsoever, you are supposed to at least fake a smile to your customers and welcome them to your business, she didn’t have patience to explain the menu, being first time customers. The burrito and the quesadilla wasn’t bad, and it was a good portion. But the place needs serious maintenance, not cleaned at all. There was trash flying all over the place, tables were not cleaned at all, the trash cans were overflown, and nobody changes the trash bags.I wouldn’t recommend this place unless they seriously change the way the deal with cleanliness.
