Awesome bar due to the staff. I can not believe I have waited this long for an honest review. Friendly and engaging staff that remembers your drink choice. A few common staples and a rotating beer selection with happy hour. This is what a bar should be!

Cool, intimate dive bar. Good prices, great music, amazing service. I've gone here a couple of times and the bartenders, namely Colin, are so friendly and will serve us quickly and strike up a great conversation. Highly recommend for locals and visitors alike. Bathrooms are surprisingly clean. There's popcorn, too.

Best spot for a cheap happy hour. Garage bar style, no frills place. Always packed. Still manage quick service. Garage doors open in the front to the outside if it's nice, and there's a patio out back, I think, too. They serve fresh popcorn for free and it's salty and buttery...so, delicious. They have a touch screen machine that has Photo Hunt and many other games...and that is a really important thing for me at a bar with my friends, haha. We will miss J&P when we move!!!

Nice bar on 30th Street. Extensive collection 9f beer for $5 in Happy Hours that make a lot of reasons to go during the week. Also, small outdoor space in the back but definitely the best spot is on the front bar checking out people walking by !

Great place with a awesome staff of bartenders! A very good selection of craft beers that you will not find at other Astoria bars! Also a 4 hour happy hour, who else does that? You will definitely enjoy yourselves!

Love this place! Great music and crowd... Mostly late 20's early 30's - Sometimes it's pretty mixed and I find my age group lol early 40's. Love one of the bartenders... he has a special personality lol... drinks are not that bad either

Nice and relaxing spot for drinks. Open air back patio and really good drink selection. Their frozen drinks include and aperol spritz and a mango margarita. Honestly they were around $10 and tasted amazing. Happy hour special is $5 we’ll drinks and draft beers so it’s the perfect weekday bar.

Visited last week with some friends from the area. The vibe was energetic and friendly, the music was generally 90s grunge with some old school hip hop mixed in, and the drinks were reasonably priced. We had a blast and I would recommend you stop by.
