Picanha meat and Alcatra are Brazilian cuts, ask for Rare for a better experience Good Restaurant
I used to live two blocks from this place and while I was living with recent graduate intern salary, I always found this place to be quality yet affordable. Sure price had gone up for now, but it is still very much reasonable with very quality Brazilian cuisine that makes high-end steak house a run for their money
Love coming here for lunch, fresh meats from the rotisserie cut on sight to your choosing. The prices are reasonable as the food is set up in a buffet style where you pay per pound. I spent 30$ including a drink, highly recommend the top sirloin, unbeatable in flavor. May have to wait til 12 if you come at opening time and prefer well done, I had mine at medium. I love their potato salad, maduros, and spinach lasagna. They have fresh fruits and salads as well. The atmosphere is casual and cozy and not pretentious or uncomfortable, so I enjoy dining in. Great place to go to and close to subway.
Gets kind of busy in the afternoon. Food is great. Fine cuts of beef available like top sirloin, and skirt. They'll cut it to your liking. The side dishes are just as delicious with options like plantains mixed rice and beans. The staff is always very nice
Delicious and affordable Brazilian barbecue in NYC.
Cahier very friendly..lots of salads choices the meat was so tender. You need to try this place..cozy..affordable
Every time I feel like eating good and authentic Brazilian barbecue, I come to Copacabana Grill. Delicious food, reasonable prices and very friendly staff. It’s a self service buffet, but food on display is always fresh and everything is clean.
Great place for a steak reasonable prices.!!
Nice place to buy lunch by pound. The meat is amazing. The salad bar is complete. Just be careful there are to many foods thing in the buffet that you might gain some pounds. Staff is good
Absolutely delicious Brazilian food, with a rotating menu so the food is different every day but it consistently does not disappoint. Great staff, too.
Great place to eat meat, they sell beers! Everything is clean! I passed by, didn't know about this restaurant! 100% recommend! Good service!
Another great Brazilian buffet with food that doesn't disappoint. Went over to the Astoria location, I've been to the one in Jackson Heights about 5 years ago and this place has a similar vibe to its other location. Food is also affordable too, my plate was about $15, bumped up to $21 with dessert and can of soda. A bit disappointed I didn't see any chicken anywhere in the meat section so I settled for strip steak and roast pork which was pretty decent along with seafood and vegetable yellow rice with a plantain on the side. It was a relaxing lunch and the service was pretty decent.
The restaurant was really clean, staff were nice, had nice selection of food for the buffet, and good prices. I came here with family which is just three other people. Great stop before going to a museum. It's a resedential area so not very hard to get lost and it's also quiet. Train was very accessible and it's also a very walkable area. It was nice weather the day we went so perfect day to try new foods.
Super taste sirloin Good workers , good price match
This is one of my favorites Brazilian Restaurants, You can enjoy the traditional Brazilian flavors Unlimited and succulent varieties of rotisserie- grilled meets perfectly seasoned , gourmet salads and authentic Brazilian hot Side -dishes and a Sweet side Desserts. They have it all! Very clean place, attentive staff and always fast service. Family friendly! Highly recommend!!!
A Brazillian buffet that’s pay per pound with a great selection of meats! This is a fast casual dining situation and right beside Rio Market but the quality is great, there is a large selection of rotisserie meats right when you walk in. Highly recommend for authentic Brazilian cuisine!
I’ve reviewed many places in Astoria/LIC and this place is one of the best deals that I’ve found. I came here because my husband wanted to try it—it is buffet style and charged by weight. When we sat down and my husband took a bite of their shortrib, he said, “This is why I love living in New York City.” There are few places in the world with this much variety in food, and of great quality. This is probably going to be one of our regulars for lunch!

It was my first time eating at a Brazilian restaurant, and I could safely say the food was amazing. I had a variety of stuff on my plate and the meat had great seasoning and cooked well
Love it! Authentic and super tasty brazilian food. The place kills all my cravings, the system is “pay per pound”, so you serve as much as you want and the prices are great!

I mean seriously, for 6 dollars I was able to eat a very good meal, fresh steak and hot sausages right off the grill and a nicely placed salad with lime. There prices are very good. I would highly recommend visiting this place for a nice big lunch
The food here tastes like it's made with real care. Copacabana proves small spaces can be immaculate and cozy. Their customer treatment and menu choices are excellent. The flavors they create are outstanding. I appreciate the staff's positive attitude.

Looking for a quick bite of barbecue brazilian style. This is the place
Paid $42 for me and my boyfriend, they gave me a piece of meat That was so tough Everything else was good. I also don’t think she removed the weight from my plate but it wasn’t bad. If I’m honest, I think that the mashed potatoes and heavy items like that, are a waste because they rack up the price. Their hot sauce is good, however, if I’m being honest the amount of food we got it was not worth the price . It was tasty, but I think you have to be more smart about it than I was maybe just one plate with sides and one plate with meat . Also, once I left the bathroom, a homeless man was standing in front of our table which was a little concerning
This place is great if one is looking for a variety of two different types in a cuisine. They have BBQ + Buffet and Buffet + Salad bar. Their salad bar and the buffet is quite okay and has a good spread. The BBQ has steaks and can be made to your liking. The portion-size or its weight dictates the price, however, the staff over there are not too strict and that's a good thing. Free soft drinks to go. Price is reasonable at $11.99 & $10.99 respectively. Nice cosy place with business-like table and chairs and they also have take aways.
food is rly tasty for the prices but as is the norm w buffets, rice esp can get stale if it's been sitting nice clerk and cute restroom/overall restaurant ambiance

Food is pretty good, but insanely expensive per pound. Be careful, you'll spend $50 without realizing.
This place lost it. The restaurant staff were always so nice and attentive now my God the guy serving me the meat was so rude. The meat was like rubber. I couldn’t bite it. The taste of the food is there but man the food isn’t soft anymore. The food was also cold. Invest in a good food heating system. My high school place is ruined.
Stopped by to order some food- you choose what meats you would like from the BBQ then choose what other additional items- this then is weighed and you pay was around $42. I thought was a bit pricey but it was an enjoyable meal which we shared.

They used to season their rices, now they're all bland. That's a shame, because all of the food used to be delicious. Overall, now the food is just above average. Also, to the owner: yes, this place offers a small buffet and delicious freshly grilled meats, but it IS a SELF SERVE restaurant. Your prices are now very close to a table service restaurant. If you close that gap any further, you'll lose business - including mine.
The food was average but definitely overpriced being sold by weight. They didn't have too much variety for the side dishes. The meats were kinda dry and the lamb had too much fat. I also didn't like the buffet concept, it was too small & you have to reach over the food to get to the back side. It was a ok first try, but just not for me.

Honestly, I wish I could give ZERO star ratings to this place for their service. I came in to get food for two families, and while getting the food, I couldn't stand the attitude the workers had. If I'm paying for the food, why is there attitudes involved? While paying out, I had the cashier be on the phone the whole time and not focus on weighing our orders. Focus on your customers. There were no issues in the past, but people really would appreciate a great service.
This past weekend I bought picanha and another cut of meat. The picanha was very good—juicy, flavorful, and clearly fresh. However, the other meat was a big disappointment. From the very first bite, I noticed a strange taste, like it had been reheated or was old. I tried to eat it, but it was honestly inedible. Unfortunately, I had to throw it in the trash, and that’s really frustrating—not just because of the money lost, but because it shakes your trust. When you buy meat, you expect good quality. I really hope they start checking the freshness of their products more carefully, because experiences like this leave a bad impression on customers.
This placed used to be decent/good but in the last few months the quality has decreased. The individual at the meat station is not well versed in his craft. He seems unfamiliar with how to slice the meat and the type of meat cuts to serve. The meat itself is often tough and the food at the buffet is nothing spectacular. Its a shame.
The barbecue guy doesn’t ask how much meat you want on your plate—he just cuts a piece that he thinks is the right portion for you. Also, the cashier could have a better professional treatment.

I paid the weight of the plate. It should be illegal. Usually I spend around 20$. This time I spent 37$. Almost fraudolent cashier. This was thsi past Saturday at lunchtime.

Cashier places a heavy dish on top of the weight, and then weights plates or container separately, adding about 1/3 lb to every time they weigh a plate. Simply dishonest, will not be coming back. Also, griller didn’t ask for a meat term and just stated cutting, when we asked, he said that was the only term he had - false. Ended up with a burned cut and a cold raw one he had on the side. $85 for two adults and a 7 and 4 year old.
