Hands down the best restaurant I’ve ever eaten at in my life. From the moment you walk in until the moment you walk out this place has a reputation it absolutely upholds. Our waitress was Brittany and she was phenomenal. We started out with the pomegranate martini for me and the old fashioned for my fiancé. Presentation on the old fashioned was beautiful. We got the family style meal that includes 2 large salads, 2 large appetizers, 4 entrees and 3 desserts to share for $100. There are several different apps and entrees to choose from but the chicken parm was incredible. The desserts are just out of this world. We got the butter cake, chocolate cake and cheesecake and they were HUGE pieces. It was my fiancés birthday and they went over the top with the nicest birthday card for him and ice cream. He said it was the best vanilla ice cream he had ever tasted. We will absolutely be back to Atlanta just to come to Maggianos! Thank you so much!
Maggiano's - Buckhead (Atlanta) Little Italy - From beginning to end your experience is one of belonging to Italian Family dinner table. Let me start this story from the beginning. As you pull up to the building, you have an option to Valet or self-park in the garage. (Validated Parking Available) If this is your first time coming, this location offers several businesses, “Corner Bakery,” and “Maggiano’s Little Italy.” When you walk in, you discover a grand staircase and a friendly staff to assist you, to the right. As you proceed to your table, if you look immediately to the left, past the entrance, you’ll see a beautiful bar to get a drink. As we were seated a server attendant to us promptly. We order our drinks and house bread to start. Once the bread basket arrived, we noticed it was not the same bread that Maggiano’s normally served. Turns out, they changed to something different and supposedly healthier option. As we cut the bread in half and spread that flaky and creamy butter on the inside, it had a good texture and flavor to it. We personally loved the old bread more than new one. New was doable. Now, for the main course. We ordered signature famous, “Maggiano’s Lasagna” and “Eggplant Parmesan with Spaghetti.” OMG!!! We should have just ordered one menu item. We mentioned to the waiter that Lasagna will be shared for two. The level of attentiveness and quality was unmatched during main course. When they brought our food, Lasagna was placed on two separate plates and smothered with delicious red sauce. So much cheese! The Eggplant Parmesan plate had four large pieces with more cheese and spaghetti. With every bite, you were tasting authentic Italian cuisine. No compromise. It was so beyond generous portions that we took leftovers to last for few more meals. The carry-out bag was thoughtfully created. You almost feel guilty throwing it away. Italian table full of delicious cuisine is meant to gather around, enjoy great company, relax and eat delicious foods. We felt that and certainly recommend this place to you.
Now, I've been going to Maggiano's since they arrived in Buckhead nearly 30 years ago, but this time the food was different!! It was amazing! I must admit it has taken me some time to get used to the swanky atmosphere vs the old skool fun family style Italian restaurant from the past...but hey...it works. They have raised the bar and the quality of the food! We're still talking about our meal almost a week later! It was that good. So good I forgot to take a picture of our appetizers and entrees. So, what did we have? We did the family style dinner despite only having 3, we paid for 4 since that was the minimum. We were prepared to choose one salad not realizing that we got both salads. They were delicious. We enjoyed delicious stuffed mushrooms and fried calamari. For our entrees we chose the salmon, beef tenderloin medallions with mashed potatoes and mushrooms, lasagna and waygu beef stuffed shells in a vodka sauce. So, so good! We also enjoyed their pomegranate martini and lemon drop martini. But the funniest and best part was dessert because we had no idea all 3 desserts come with the feast...we were prepared to pick one. They too...were delicious. My go too dessert is the apple crostada but that isn't an available selection which is kind of a bummer. They should offer it as an upcharge cause I'll pay!! Needless to say, we'll be back sooner rather than later. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.
Private Dining Event in “The Bar” Banquet Room 🎂 Ray’s 80th Birthday Bash! 🎂🎉 Taryn Jones, the event manager, kept everything on track and responded to my questions without delay. Even when inclement weather (the Snow Bomb Cyclone) hit Atlanta on the day of the event (and her day off), she stayed in contact to reassure me—a detail I truly valued. The “Bar” banquet room was tastefully set, with black linens that added a sophisticated touch. The on‑site hostess Caroline, and her team were attentive and professional, ensuring the flow of the evening remained smooth and well‑timed. Overall, the evening was a success and felt perfectly orchestrated. Everyone commented that they had a wonderful time! Thank you Taryn, Caroline & team! Brenda, wife of "The Birthday 🎂 boy"!
Wonderful New Years Eve dinner! We decided to stop in after shopping and hanging out in the are on NYE. I love the chicken & spinach manicotti but it is currently not on the menu. I ordered the Blackened Salmon with crispy Calabrian shrimp. It’s served with spinach, mashed potatoes and pepper relish and it was much better than I had expected. It was delicious. Our server Brittany (sp) was absolutely excellent!
We had reservations for lunch, so we didn’t wait too long for our table. I got a glass of the Cabernet - Juggernaut Hillside and the Our Famous Rigatoni “D.” I love the roasted mushroom and caramelized onion, so savory and paired well with the Cabernet. My boyfriend got the Fettuccine Alfredo with broccoli and his son got the cheese flatbread. The service and ambiance is always superb.
My wife and I dined here last night. They did not disappoint. We started with drinks, Moscato mojito for her and a traditional Old Fashioned for me along with an order of their Calamari Fritte. By far one of the best Old Fashioned I've had. My wife and I were surprised by the plate that arrived, the calamari could feed a family of six. It was amazing. Great flavor, not oily or overly breaded. For our entrees, my wife ordered their shrimp linguine and I ordered the chicken marsala. As you can see from the pics, both plates are healthy portions of protein and pasta. Everything was flavorful, fresh, and a delight with every bite. This is certainly a restaurant my wife and I will visit again when we stay in Buckhead/Atlanta again.
Maggiano’s never disappoints me. A unique place with great Italian music. Good food and excellent service. You never go wrong with this restaurant.
This place is always the best when I come. Food is amazing. The atmosphere is great for all occasions. First time trying the chicken parmigiana….what I can say Superb. Also that BUTTERCAKE IS DELICIOUS. 10/10 would recommend‼️🔥👏🏽
We held our company dinner here in a private room and it was perfect! Staff was very attentive, food was amazing, and was a great atmosphere! Highly recommend for parties or just for dinner! Great job guys!!!
From the time my wife and I walked into the restaurant until the time we left we were treated wonderfully. When making my reservation I indicated that we were celebrating our anniversary. After we were seated in the restaurant our waitress Lena came up and said with excitement “Happy Anniversary” and that caught our attention. Lena went on to explain the menu, answer any questions and really made us feel special. Lena never let my tea glass get empty! Lena was very attentive but at the same time let us have our space. From the tasty appetizer to the delicious entrees, our food was spectacular. After our meal Lena said I have something special for you guys on your anniversary and brought out a dessert and in the middle it had white chocolate that had “Happy Anniversary” wrote on it. This made our anniversary date even more special. Lena is a valuable asset for Maggiano’s and I hope the management sees this and she gets recognition.
The food was so good. Our server was amazing and took care of us from start to finish.
We celebrated Cassi, Brielle, Donna, and Curtis's birthdays in style with a fantastic Italian dinner at Maggianos, featuring an array of delectable dishes including Branzino crab imperial, beef tenderloin medallions, chicken francese, lobster carbonara with linguini in white wine truffle cream, chicken parmesan, calamari, and Waygu meatball appetizers. Their desert doughnuts are a must try! 🙂
Last time we were in Atlanta for a conference at the Cobb Galleria, we ordered takeout from Maggianos. The price for 3 was around $100 for dinner and dessert, which I thought was steep for takeout. But the food was outstanding, and there was so much we frankly ate on that meal for the 3-day conference. This time we made a reservation, and dined in. My son and I got the lasagna, and my wife got the salmon. It was again too much to finish. The atmosphere here is quite immersive. Italian music plays over the sound system, interspersed with Frank Sinatra. Dark wood and crushed velvet is everywhere, speaking of yesterday’s comfort and an opulent lifestyle. Again, the food was unforgettable. From the crab cakes to the dessert everything was just right.
I was VERY pleased with my experience there. I drove 2 hours to eat there for my birthday. The server Ayanna (not sure the spelling) was wonderful. The chef came out personally and talked to us. The food was excellent. I got a free desert for my birthday. The manager saw the happy birthday written on the plate and gave me a handwritten card. The whole experience made me very happy, I will definitely go back.
My family and I enjoyed ourselves immensely. We had a party of 9 so I know it might have been stressful but our sever Iyanna handled it with Grace. The food did take awhile because it was very busy but the food was well worth the wait.
My husband and I were in last night to celebrate our anniversary. The food was delicious and the service was fantastic! The restaurant manager, Lee, stopped by our table to check on us during our meal. He was so friendly and kind— he even brought us some sparkling wine for a toast 🥂. The restaurant is beautiful inside and very clean as well. It was the perfect spot for a romantic dinner. The portion sizes are very generous and we couldn’t even finish our meals… but we got the NY Style Cheesecake anyway- because it’s just THAT GOOD!!! It’s so light, yet full of flavor. Hands down the best cheesecake we’ve ever had!! We also got some of their delicious lemon cookies to take home and enjoy another day! (If you haven’t had them— you’ve got to try them!) Everything about our dinner was fantastic!!
I had such delicious food for Father's Day here. I can't forget how the appetizers were so creamy and tasty. And the meal was cooked perfectly. I took the mini combo cakes lastly, which was just good. Enjoyed the service from the waiters, and they were all great and welcoming. I'd say the only thing that was particularly off was the smell of the hall when you get in, but I guess you'd adapt and forget about it quickly.
Food wasbgreat. Service good. My girls birthday. Free dessert.
We got the combo that brings out all appetizers + 4 mains + all deserts and everything was amazing. Would definitely come back if I’m in the area
Great place to wine and dine. The food was awesome!!! Service and atmosphere were superb!! I was there for a birthday party for a 90 year old Lady and this was the perfect place to celebrate her. A good place for other events also! Thank you!
I picked up a large catering order for a luncheon I hosted. The staff promptly took our order and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed before we left. The manager, Charles, was literally TOP NOTCH! Maggiano’s says their passion is to make people feel special, and he delivers that and more. He was so extremely attentive to our needs and accommodating to make sure we were comfortable while we waited. He is awesome, and so is the chef and staff!! I would highly recommend for a date night, casual business lunch or catering for events.
OMG , this restaurant is so good. The food, the drinks we're right on. And then to top it off, we had one of the best waiters ever, Geoffrey. He was very attentive to our needs and made sure we were happy with our meals
It was my birthday on May 21 and I celebrated it with Maggiano, with one of my friends. Listennnnnnnn to this minute, I’m still telling everyone about my birthday and how I spent it. Everything about this restaurant was AMAZING! I walked in and spoke to the lady at the front desk and she was courteous and it took no time for someone to come seat us and offer us water and we got bread! That bread was just ….!! 🥹 With each bite, I felt like I was in heaven especially with the warm Italian music. Amazing! Our server, Joshua was the BEST. He made a lot of recommendations so we were able to work order and it took no time to get our food. That fettuccini and drinks were spectacular and delicious, the ambiance was lovely, music not too loud, I got a little birthday treat as you can see. Our bill was under $100. Normally I’d ask for take home dish! What food? I ate everything. I have NOTHING negative to say. Best experience I’ve had in a long time. I told my coworkers and now she wants to go with me 🤭I’ll be back soon.
The food, service and atmosphere was a 10000 out of 10! I needed a place to host my mom’s 80th birthday celebration and I’m so glad my daughter suggested this restaurant. The sales team was amazing. They made sure i understood the process and even called the day before the event to confirm my guest count. The day of everyone was so helpful making sure my mom was taken care of and the other guests didn’t have to lift a finger. They went above and beyond and I have to say Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!!! Ps : the food was delicious!!! My out of town guests loved every bite. Thank you for everything!
The welcoming was great and they found us a table right way even though our reservation was 15min later. I would still recommend reserving before coming. The food is excellent, portion is large even for the desserts, and the service is on point. It has a great value overall, highly recommended.
Seated quickly and we had great service! Our server was very attentive. The manager checked in at the end of the meal as well which was a lovely touch. Everyone was warm and welcoming and the ambiance was just right. I ordered the lobster carbonara which did not disappoint! However, the olive oil for the bread tasted a little weak but that was the only thing that I found lacking. Overall a nice time and we will be returning soon.
We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. Our server, Ayana, was amazing. It was our first time and she made sure we had the best experience. The manager came by our table and gave us a card for our anniversary. The food was amazing. Truffle Garlic Bread appetizer was flavorful and delicious. We had the chicken piccata and salmon which were both very good. For dessert, Ayana surprised us with the warm apple crostada which was a better version of apple pie! We left very happy and very full. Will definitely be back.
Sincerely, one of the best restaurants I have ever tried, and I say it as the Grandson of an Italian and who has visited many times the best restaurants in the old continent. Donna’s service was so sweet, professional; and the prices are so reasonable contrasting the highest quality standards on recipes and best ingredients. Highly Recommended
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Maggiano's Little Italy, and it was an unforgettable experience. The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the Shrimp Fettuccine Alfredo. The pasta was perfectly cooked, and the Alfredo sauce was rich and creamy, complemented beautifully by succulent, perfectly seasoned shrimp. Each bite was a delightful blend of flavors that left me wanting more. Equally impressive was the Spaghetti and Meatball. The spaghetti was cooked to perfection, and the meatball was tender and bursting with flavor. The marinara sauce was robust and savory, coating each strand of pasta just right. It was a classic dish executed flawlessly. The service at Maggiano's was exceptional. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure our dining experience was top-notch from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a perfect blend of elegance and comfort. Whether you're planning a family dinner or a romantic date night, Maggiano's provides the perfect setting. Overall, Maggiano's Little Italy is a fantastic choice for anyone looking to enjoy delicious Italian cuisine in a wonderful environment.
We came in about 30 minutes before closing due to a late flight. Staff was INCREDIBLE. I WISH I remembered our servers name because she was an absolute sweetheart. Food was incredible and came out very fast!!! Perfect for our empty, jetlagged stomachs!
My oldest sister recommended me to visit Maggiano's as my visit in the states is temporary. My experience tonight was the best I've had. The waiter, Lee, was very attentive, gave great recommendations and asked if anyone had allergies. The first-time visit felt like seeing and interacting with family. Our chef, Alex, was also very great as he came to our tables to accommodate to my younger sister's shellfish allergies. To say that the food was great would not be enough to explain how great it was as my mom and younger sister were asking for recipes to the point that we even wanted to tip Chef Alex for the meal as well. We'll definitely be sure to visit again before I return to my duty station in South Korea!
Loved it!!! Food was amazing! Service from David was amazing. The atmosphere was calm, with hits from Frank Sinatra playing. I loved everything about my dish! I will definitely visit again.
We were at Maggiano's yesterday afternoon for my nephew's birthday. We really had a wonderful time. We went during lunch time so valet was complimentary. Once inside, we were promptly seated. Our server was awesome! (Sorry, I forgot her name). For appetizers, we had garlic bread and mozzarella sticks. For drinks we had coca-cola and we also tried the Frozen Peach Bellini and the Lorenzo's Long Island Iced Tea. The drinks were so good! For our entrees, we had the Chicken Parmesan, Lasagna, Spaghetti and Meatballs and the Beef Tenderloin Medallions. According to everyone their food was delicious! I can say that I definitely enjoyed the food, drinks, service and the ambience of Maggiano's. We will be back again!
Excellent food, and amazing service. Megan is professional and absolutely amazing. You must come see her, the entire staff did an outstanding job making us feel welcomed happy. Shout out to mosie, Mariana, Corey and Lena
Just came for a birthday. The waiter was amazing super sweet. I did notice lots of changes, new menus, plates, and decor. I do wish they would bring back the warm-dark lighting, the piano guy and the Marco meal for 2.
This is a nice looking restaurant and the food was basically tasty. Victor was super friendly. My order was probably pretty slow and the food was a wee bit over cooked. But tbh it was still tasty! So I guess I’d come back but … idk. Probably better for pastas and stuff like that.
I save Maggiano's for special occasions. So my wife and I had a date. I've been to other of their fine establishments and I found this on a little off. The food was good, but it was a little undercooked. Would have sent it back but our waiter disappeared. I am use to the server waiting for you to check the steak ( New York strip)to see if it's cooked right. After he left it took several minutes for someone to find our waiter. By that time we didn't want to wait. Other than that and continued waiter hunting issues, the meal was great. The cheesecake was delicious also. It probably was a one off. But I try to be honest in my reviews.
The service, atmosphere, and appetizers at Maggiano's were truly superb—warm, attentive staff and a cozy, welcoming ambiance made for a great start to the meal. While the entrees were a bit underwhelming (the meat was tough and the fish and crab lacked flavor), I still recommend visiting for the drinks and excellent appetizers, top-notch service, and overall vibe. I imagine their pasta dishes might be a better choice and worth trying on a future visit.
Maggiano's Little Italy in Buckhead is a good place to get Italian-American cuisine. The service was very good and attentive, the restaurant was clean and comfortable to sit in, and the food is good though it did lean a bit on the salty side. I love how generous the portion was on the pasta - it was enough for my daughter and I to share with leftovers! That said, we also enjoyed the crab cake appetizer and some delightfully warm fresh bread beforehand, so we may have been a little full to begin with! Added bonus - it was within walking distance of my hotel and perfect for our dinner break.
Came here by surprise. The establishment is very beautiful and well put together. However, I wish I could say the same about our server. He was very unattentive til the point we literally had to ask 3-4 other waitresses to get things for our table hell even to check on our food. The young lady who was working the bar came and checked on us and ask how was everything. We put in our complaint and recieved $10 discount off. The food wasn’t hot compared to how long it took for them to bring it out. It wasn’t cold besides the bread was almost cold to the point the butter wouldn’t melt. We had to ask them to melt the butter and bring it back to the table in which they did. The fried calamari was good, the chicken Alfredo lacked seasoning and didn’t have enough flavor to Alfredo sauce nor enough cheese. The Caesar salad was very good. The spinach dip was very good as well. Still not hot as it should have been.
Great restaurant for hosting a large gathering. I recently attended a professional organization’s holiday party at this location, and it was an excellent choice. The event space was spacious and comfortably accommodated our large group, with plenty of room to mingle and all the necessary audiovisual setup, including a screen. The Italian buffet offered a well-rounded selection of starters, entrées, and desserts, with options that easily met a variety of dietary needs. Vera’s lemon cookies were the clear standout for me—perfectly balanced with just the right touch of zest. The bar featured a solid selection of cocktails, mocktails, and wine, and the staff were consistently pleasant, serving everyone with genuine smiles throughout the evening. There is a paid parking garage conveniently located behind the restaurant, which made arrival and departure easy. Bonus: The first two hours is free—remember to have the staff validate your parking ticket.
Our family comes here every year! Food was great and we had a good time. From my perspective they were overbooked and busy to the point that we received the salad and appetizers at the same time. Then when requesting more appetizers they didn’t come out until the main course. Just overwhelmed and waiting staff got confused.
I often visit this location for lunch since it’s close to my job. On this occasion, my brother was in town and suggested we stop by. G was our server and was absolutely phenomenal—attentive, friendly, and professional. The food, as always, was delicious. However, when I took the leftovers home, I was shocked to find long, dark hair strands embedded in our meatballs. This is a serious health and safety concern. I strongly urge management to review who was responsible for food prep and handling that day—this level of oversight is unacceptable. While I’ve genuinely enjoyed dining at Maggiano’s in the past, this experience has made me reconsider returning to this location.
Fried zucchini was delicious, but chicken marsala was very basic. Not enough sauce! Got it with mashed potatoes that had no seasoning or flavor. Overpriced.
We went there on a Monday night . It was empty at 8:00. We had party of five. I haven’t been to Mangiannos for several years and won’t be going back any time soon. Used to really like it back a few years ago. The quality has deteriorated and the portion size is significantly less while the cost is much higher. My wife, daughter and I had pasta which was soft and over cooked . They used to have great bread from the Corner Bakery now they have some cheap rolls almost worse than the Olive Garden’s breadsticks . My nephew’s steak was sent back because it wasn’t properly cooked. The waiter was asked several times to refill our water glasses. That shouldn’t happen. The Interior atmosphere is still nice. I would not recommend. When they re much better authentic Italian restaurants all around. Miss the good old days of Mangiannos .
I used to feel like this place was so magical particularly near Christmas time, but our recent visit was severely lacking. The walls and floor are different now, and it seemed the lighting was brighter (even at 730pm..) which made for a sterile environment. The white walls severely detracted from the typical intimate, festive, and upscale ambiance the restaurant used to have. The feeling resembled the new Walmart modernization design or the now-abandoned rebranding plans Cracker Barrel published. We had a medium sized party of 5 plus a toddler and a baby. The server we had was good, but we did wait a considerable while before being seen. The water tasted like it came out of a garden hose or straight from the soil. I don’t know what was going on but it had an awful earthy taste and smell that made me nervous about its safety. Our bread was always full and the kids’ food came out first which I always appreciate. The bread has changed and now it’s sweet bread with butter rather than the savory bread with olive oil for dipping. It was good, but felt very American-steakhouse-chain. Also, our server brought out a birthday dessert with a candle for our celebration which was nice. The menu had changed, and with it, the old recipes were different too. The person that brought out the food kept saying “here you are bruh” and “here you go bruh” even to the ladies in our party which was quite odd. Our total was near $250 and I wish we would have spent our money elsewhere. Unfortunately as long term casual and occasional diners, despite the decent service, we will not be returning to Maggiano’s.
Wow, what happened to this restaurant? Gathering our family of 10 here has been a holiday tradition for over a decade but I can't imagine we will be back. Everything has been painted white and the lights are so bright. No live piano (for a few years now) and its completely lost the old homey feel. We had to request individual menus because they tried to push the family style menu on us. We had to remind the waiter about water and drink orders multiple times, which we finally got after apps had already arrived. We had to ask the waitress to pour the tables' wine after she handed us a carafe and expected us to pass it around. The bread has gone from quality foccacia with olive oil to whipped butter and dinner rolls (frozen?). The fried mozzarella was out of a package, now served with ranch and lacking enough marinara for the table (also required a reminder for an order of extra). Some of our favorite orders have disappeared over the years (like the gnocchi). The guy that delivered our dessert practically threw the plates on the table. The coffee/cappuccino were in inappropriate cups, as was the cream and sugar that we had to request multiple times. By the end of dinner we were all laughing at what might come next. Valet is now $10 and there was only one guy so we waited in line forever! Some of this would have been explainable if the restaurant was packed like it normally is this time of year. But it wasn't close to full and we still felt rushed by the staff. I know this is a chain but we came because they maintained a charm anyway and at least pretended to be high-end with quality service. I guess they've pivoted to a different customer. Overall the food was okay, but not good enough to justify the price for what's now just casual dining. Its been Brinker-fied, which is too bad.
Great restaurant but they need to get valet inconsistency under control. Arrive and sign says valet complimentary and walk out with a $10 tip and valet says that’s the cost and not the tip. They should use two different color tickets for those that arrive when it’s free and a different color for those who arrive when it’s not.
Any time we are in a town where there is a Maggianos we make it a point to eat there. We were in town for a cheer competition and Valentine's Day weekend. I made sure to make reservations a few weeks back for my family of 5. I manage a restaurant so I understand holiday weekends and wanted to get in early and get out of the way. We were sat in a timely manner, the hostesses were very pleasant which started our dining experience off great. Our waitress came to get our drinks we all ordered waters after being in the convention center since 7 am we were needing something to rehydrate us. I'm assuming this bothered our waitress because we all caught her rolling her eyes at us. When she came back to the table I confronted her about the eye rolling she made an excuse, we asked for another waitress, but decided to just leave at that point. My family was just uncomfortable. Another waitress stopped us as we were leaving and apologized and said she did see the eye roll and she was sorry and would be taking care of us, but we were just ready to leave. I wish we had her from the beginning she was very sweet. Maybe when we come back in a few months we will have a better experience.
