I ate here for the second time tonight, on a Monday. The first time it was packed. This time we were the only people in the entire restaurant. The atmosphere, including the bathrooms per my wife, was/is impeccable. I was concerned the food or service quality had diminished. Thankfully, it had not. The Colorado burrito was spicy and delicious. I really enjoyed my Agave margarita. My wife had queso, a soft taco and a few Clooney margaritas, all received 5 stars! Service was excellent both visits. Food is Tex-Mex, and they have brunch items all day. The explanation for the empty restaurant from the manager - they opened 2 months before the Spring semester ended. That was all I needed to know. Summer can be tough on any restaurant in Auburn, but especially on one that hasn’t established a following. Check it out (where Wings, etc. used to be), you won’t be disappointed even if it looks empty. The drinks we had were top shelf, so not college town prices. I can’t speak to the cheap stuff.

The most outstanding Mexican restaurant in Auburn. Joseph is doing a phenomenal job managing this restaurant. The food and margaritas are top notch. Quantity and timeliness of service was slower but it's worth every minute! Can't wait to return!

We had the best time at Agave! The service was quick and professional, and Joseph was so kind and helpful with menu questions!! The food was fresh and flavorful, I got the grilled chicken tacos and my husband got chicken and rice - both amazing. Such a fun spot to be close to downtown also. Will be coming back with friends!

Everything about this place was amazing! Josef, the manager, served us and did a wonderful job. He was very attentive, and gave great recommendations. The blackberry margarita was the perfect combination of sweet and strong, and the street tacos were incredible (but especially the chorizo). Agave Bar and Grill is a much needed and wonderful edition to downtown Auburn!

This is our 2nd time going, and we love it! We met Joseph, the manager, our first and second time. He’s excellent, pleasant, and very informative, and attentive. Their dips are so fresh, and delicious, and I definitely recommend the spicy margaritas! It’s so fresh, but so get too crazy with them! I recommend this new Mexican restaurant hot spot to any and everyone I know!!!

Wanted to try out this place since it is new and close by. Was pleasantly surprised by how good the food is, especially the rice it was delicious. Our server was Joseph C. and he was awesome and made sure everything was good and answered all of our questions and was very nice and funny. Will 100% come back soon.

It's was the first time I had been there and I went for lunch. Food, drink and service was absolutely perfect. I don't go to Auburn often but when I do, I will definitely be eating there again!

Went there in the evening and there was only one waiter, service was slow and desorganized. Ended up waiting 30 minutes for my food. I should have known after seeing the reviews of their other restaurant in Colombus. Please do your research before wasting your time.

I found a hair in my food and decided to leave after paying. There are better mexican restaurants out there don’t waste your money.
