I always try to go here for my scrambled eggs + bacon. Their earl grey tea smacks and they even give u salsa for ur eggs. And they do this all in 5 seconds so idk what people are complaining about. I love Annie’s 😍😍 I go even when my gate is on the opposite side of the airport if I have that much time
I had a great Americano here. I wasn’t happy with my drip coffee and asked for an Americano instead, and Eduardo was very courteous about making me a new drink, and it was delicious!
Food is definitely priced appropriately. This is the best food at the airport and one of the few that’s serving fresh, scratch made dishes. Don’t sleep on the portobello burger or the horseradish carrots. Also, the service is top notch. Dean kindly served us today and last time the chef himself made our order. Thankful for Annie’s and little extra time to sit down and eat before our flight.
The service here is incredible! Joseph was especially great. He was quick, polite, and overall made the experience very enjoyable. I help manage people a lot so I know a great employee when I see one! He should definitely be considered for management!
The “Royale” chicken burger was so incredible I felt compelled to leave a review. I rarely leave reviews. The chicken was a nicely cooked breast with a generous amount of melted cheese topped with a unique aioli sauce. Additional plus, I was able to substitute the fries with an option of multiple types of “salads” for me was a serving of broccoli. I would highly recommend Anne’s to anyone going through AUS.
The croquet monsieur was delicious. Crisp buttery bread with bubbly sharp cheese(Asiago?) on the outside. Plenty of ham, Gruyère, and béchamel on the inside for contrast. They offered to toast it for me and were very friendly and helpful. Hit the spot for a warm comforting meal. I also got a kale Caesar salad. I love Caesar, but am ambivalent to kale. But this was actually yummy and a healthier alternative to normal airport food. Yes, it’s expensive. But I’m a happy sucker. I would happily eat this again. Pros: -Food seems chef quality, prepared quickly, and brought to my table -bar available -Quieter area of airport/soft lighting -Friendly staff Cons: -Expensive(it’s the airport though?) -No phone charging outlets
Awesome. Had a late flight out of Austin airport. Food was still fresh. Staff was very friendly and helpful so many good items cannot make a decision. I ordered the sourdough, turkey and brie sandwich and then the salads are so delicious. Actually ended up getting two additional salads. Try the Texas caviar it’s a surprise!
Annie’s has a wide selection of grab and go food, drinks, snacks, and a small deli area where you can get things to make a meal. They also have sandwiches, and a nice seating area. There’s a bar with a live music stage next to it and when I was there last there was somebody playing. Annie is seating area is a nice place to hang out. That usually has some space. The food here is good, I have not gotten anything from the bar so I can’t speak to that.
Annies Cafe & Bar Review Starting my day early at the airport, Annies Cafe & Bar delivered exactly what I needed. At 5:30 am, the latte was perfect—smooth and satisfying, hitting the spot for my caffeine fix. The cinnamon roll was a delightful treat, fresh and flavorful. My only small wish was that it could have been warmed, but even so, it was still delicious. A great way to kick off a travel day! Would definitely stop by again.
Great vegetarian breakfast tacos full of eggs, potato, avocado and comes with amazing sauce. A healthy sized cup of tea and after the two taco's I didn't need to eat for the rest of the day which was great for travelling back to Mexico. They have a huge range of healthy options, salads and vegetarian stuff which was such a nice surprise and I kind of wanted to eat everything there. All the other customers looked very satisfied and the locals I spoke with said it was the best place to go for coffee.
Croissant is sitting out in open air so it is very dry. It looks better than it tastes. It would be better warmed up, but they don’t even have a microwave.
Pretty solid food, go there often. Incredibly slow if you don't do grab and go—took 15 minutes to get a sandwich and salad just taken out of the case. Not busy. This is an airport, y'all people are in a hurry.
We tried the chocolate croissant, and unfortunately it was very hard and cold. We asked if it could be warmed, but were told it wasn’t possible. For $7, it didn’t feel worth the price. Hopefully the quality and service improve in the future.
As someone with Celaic, I love when there are gluten free options at an airport so I ventured over Annie’s to get a GF sandwich. I ordered a turkey with Brie and was shocked at the cost of $23 just for the sandwich and disappointed by the thin turkey lunch meat! When I ordered the description was roasted turkey and to get lunch meat (which I had no idea if it was GF) was so puzzling for a person with Celiac! The Odi’s bread was stale and the Brie was not melted. Finally, it told over 20 mins to get my food. Would not recommend.
I ordered French Toast at 6:36am. By 7:14am I still hadnt gotten my order. I went up to the counter around 7am to check and was asked if I had waited 10 mins yet. I informed them it had been more than 30 mins. I had to begin boarding at 7:20am. They gave me undercooked french toast, soggy and sloppily thrown in a brown bag. Will never order from here again. I would have preferred a refund to this inedible food they gave almost an hour later.
OMG worst service ever at Annie’s! Don’t make a mistake on your order or accidentally ask for something not on the menu. Don’t even think about changing your mind. If you’re not familiar with the restaurant or menu, the people on the grill will eat you alive, roll their eyes, and literally walk off asking for a break in the middle of making your sandwich. Doesn’t matter if you apologized for not knowing the “proper panini protocol”. Unbelievable! I’ve never seen someone so high strung in all my life working in customer service lose his patience over something SO SMALL. It’s a sandwich bro, it’s not that deep. You’ll be fine. Not to mention I paid $73 for 3 sandwiches, 2 bags of chips and 1 water. Will NEVER go back.
Horrible coffee, I ordered an iced caramel latte. I got a drink that tasted like burnt milk no caramel. I ask for caramel, she says I must pay ok fine. Yes, then it still taste Horrible. I ask for a refund, they said they would remake it. I'm almost positive they just threw ice & caramel sauce in it. It was awful! Rude!!
No clear instructions about how to order from the grill. Asked for a breakfast sandwich. Had to go back for the croissant I ordered, as it was not given to me. After waiting for 10 mins I was approached and asked if they could substitute some sort of roll. Self service coffee. Had to go back for a flavor. I travel often. Utilize airport cafes. Don’t bother with this one
