Always an incredible experience here!!! I highly recommend paying the extra for the indulgent churrasco experience,you get an extra side and dessert, it's worth the price I promise. The service is always top notch, and the food is indescribably delicious. I'm not even a huge carnivore like my husband is, and I love treating myself to this fine dining just as much as him.
I had a wonderful experience at Fogão de Chão! I've been to several locations, including the one in Rio de Janeiro! The Austin location surpasses them all! Especially thanks to the service from Emilee, Dylan, and Carlos! They are very polite and attentive! I highly recommend this steakhouse!
Our experience at this location was 10/10! The whole staff was great and very helpful but Brandon was phenomenal! We had an early valentines dinner date and he made it special for us. He was very helpful and knowledgeable about the dishes. Other times I have been to a steakhouse I very rarely see the server but Brandon was always helping us and making sure we had everything we needed. The food is always delicious and you can’t go wrong with anything! Do not forget to try the tres leches while you are here.
Excellent experience and very professional with a great variety of fresh high quality food ranging from vegetarian dishes, cheeses, and excellent protein. All I can say is be careful where you park. And if you pay in a paid parking lot make sure to pay before leaving bc they will boot and charge
Geoff was amazing!!! Great customer service. Juan exceeded our expectations with his knowledge of the menu. He recommended the dessert. The entire restaurant was a great experience.
Paige and Joe were such an awesome serving team! They both helped me with making sure the food was gluten free (for celiac!) and making our meal special. They were very attentive and made our night great- we were celebrating our engagement, and they made sure to help make our night as special as it could be!
We had an amazing experience at Fogo de Chão, and a huge part of that was because of Carlos. From the moment we sat down, he was attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. He made sure our table was always taken care of without ever being overbearing. Our drinks stayed full, our requests were handled quickly, and he explained everything clearly, especially for anyone at the table who hadn’t been before. Carlos really elevated the whole dining experience. You can tell he takes pride in what he does. He was friendly, efficient, and made us feel like valued guests. If you’re dining here, definitely ask for Carlos. He’ll make sure you’re well taken care of.
Happy hour here was seriously next level. The atmosphere had that perfect buzz—lively but not overwhelming—and it just felt like the right place to unwind. The food was delicious across the board, and the service was top-notch from the minute we sat down. The real standout for me, though, was the sliders. They were so flavorful, super juicy, and cooked perfectly. Honestly, I could’ve ordered a second round without thinking twice. Everything came out fast, fresh, and exactly how you’d hope. It’s the kind of happy hour spot that makes you want to text your friends and plan the next visit before you even leave. Great vibes, great bites, and great service—it really checks all the boxes.
Emily and Joe were fantastic, always taking good care of us, making good recommendations. We were celebrating something and their service helped make it a wonderful dinner. (The only thing that would have made it perfect would be if they fix the door to stop it from sticking open and letting the 30 degree air in, but the staff worked hard to keep pulling it shut every time it was opened)
I had one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had at a Fogo de Chão, and that’s saying a lot because I’ve visited several locations over the years. From the moment we were seated, Nikita Juliana and Oscar made us feel genuinely welcomed and truly taken care of. Their attention to detail in service really stood out. They were attentive without being intrusive, always checking in at the right moments and making sure our table had everything we needed. What made the experience even more special was how thoughtful they were with every detail. We brought a cake to celebrate our friend’s birthday because we wanted to share that special moment with him at this restaurant, and they were incredibly kind and accommodating about it. They helped make the celebration feel smooth and memorable, which meant a lot to us. Oscar, who was in charge of customer service, went above and beyond, he even surprised us with a small pineapple dessert detail, which was such a thoughtful touch and not something we expected. On top of that, he made sure we were offered some of the meat cuts that might have been missed during the regular rotation of the all-you-can-eat service. That level of awareness and dedication is rare. The service felt personalized, warm, and professional from start to finish. It honestly felt like they cared about our experience, not just doing their job. Hands down, this was the best service I’ve received at any Fogo de Chão. Nikita Juliana and Oscar truly made the night unforgettable. I’ll definitely be coming back because of them.
Amazing experience at Fogo de Chão. From the moment we arrived, the service was excellent. The manager, Fernando, took great care of us, very attentive, professional, and always making sure everything was perfect. All the servers were super friendly and awesome, with a great attitude throughout our visit. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was very nice. Definitely a place we would love to come back to, not only for the food but for the outstanding service. Thank you to Fernando and the entire team!
Our second time at Fogo de Chao Austin and still had a very good experience with the service, the meats, the sides; and we just discovered that they have great desserts, too! Try the creme brulee, it is luscious! We all had the Indulgent Churrasco and chose the butter-bathed lobster tail. Yum! And we also added truffle butter to dip the meats. Double yum! And the $10 all-you-can cocktails is a win! You can switch and try all their cocktail options. I recommend going there for brunch so you have the rest of the afternoon to digest all that meat.
The entire team at Fogo de Chão Austin is of the highest standard of professionalism. Very much akin to service you would receive in Washington DC or Dubai. These individuals are great and second to none. Both Fernando and Ty are excellent management and their staff always provide the very best of service !
All you can eat salad, ham cheese, fruits and meat 🧡 Another great Fogo location that didn’t disappoint Lovely cuts of fresh cooked meat 🤤 Plentiful And happy hour 🍻 beers and cocktail This was (albeit) downstairs one of the smaller Fogo we’ve been to but equally stylish It also made up for it in personality with a really good team who were on point with fresh plates, special requests for cuts etc We were here twice this week Once at dinner and once for lunch Both services (different team on each bar the lovely lady who made a great hibiscus cocktail) and both times we were well looked after Highly recommend it
Our waiter John and the floor captain Fernando made the whole Brazilian steakhouse experience outstanding — super attentive, friendly, and fast. I was happily surprised to see the picanha come to our table so many times; perfectly seasoned and cooked every time. That’s exactly what you want at a churrascaria. The Market Table / salad bar was loaded with fresh options (lots of variety, not just lettuce), and they also had a great wine selection that paired perfectly with the meats. Overall, it was an amazing dining experience in Austin — great service, great food, and great atmosphere. We went here for dinner to celebrate our 7 year wedding anniversary. Before you come here, check out the entire menu. It is pretty detailed with options. We both chose to get the single churrasco cut that came with the feijoada bar. The meat of our choice was picanha, and it was so delicious. I don’t realize choosing one meat still meant you can eat all of that type of meat you want. Bonus! The feijoada bar was a fun experience. They have delicious cold vegetables that have been cooked/grilled/charred with flavor. Hands down the basil dressing is a new favorite, and paired very well with a lot of the vegetables and salads offered. We ordered lobster macaroni and cheese, which was good. There was a minor detail we brought to light, and received professionally. I don’t know if my husband shared it was our anniversary or not, but they brought us some of the best yucca and fried jicama with mashed potatoes. They offered a dessert on the house too! Sadly, we only have one stomach each, otherwise we would have indulged. Thank you Fogo for making our private anniversary dinner an unexpected five stars with service, friendliness, and care. We usually cook in because food is food and service makes/breaks a place. Service is outstanding. Thank you again 🙏🏽🫶🏼
I had an incredible time at Fogo de Chão! The happy hour was absolutely amazing — great atmosphere, delicious food, and top-notch service. The sliders were especially outstanding — flavorful, juicy, and perfectly cooked. A huge shoutout to Justin, Clemente, and Fernando for their outstanding hospitality and attention to detail. They truly made the experience memorable and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Highly recommend stopping by for happy hour — you won’t be disappointed!
My husband and I dined here for the first time today. We were the first ones in the restaurant and felt like we mattered. Jay and Justin took care of us-making us feel most welcomed and took the time to explain the menu. We never asked for anything-the service was top notch along with the amazing food! We will definitely be back!
Joseph, our server, was wonderful. Attentive but not annoying. Fernando was also great, stopping by to congratulate us on our anniversary, and ensuring everything was going well. We were sat within minutes of arrival for our reservation, and tended to quickly after seating. The food was delicious, and everything looked and tasted fresh. The fried plantains are the BEST! We enjoyed the best key lime pie we’ve ever had, and our anniversary dinner is a memory we’ll treasure. Thank you for making date night great while we celebrated 11 years together.
The food was fine for the most part. The staff were friendly great. You even gave us free desserts. Still think there's a little pricey for a person.But we'll definitely go again
Sadly I cannot recommend ordering togo from here. I asked for rare, knowing that the meat will continue to cook as I drove back home. Unfortunately the meat was very well done, to the point where it was dry and chewy. It was bad enough to where we left the meat half uneaten. This was our Christmas Eve dinner that turned out to be quite disappointing. You’re better off just making it yourself at home
Thursday night staff really ruined the experience of a brazillian steak house. I'm not sure if it was where they had us sit, but the staff seemed to actively avoid bringing over meats. The place was really well decorated, and the salad bar was nice, but we had to wait 30 minutes before they started bringing out meats, and once they did, they seemed to just walk right past us. Which was confusing since we sat in the doorway in the room right next to the kitchen. So it felt like they were actively avoiding my wife and I. At somepoint I started to just yell to get their attetion and gesture to our table so we could get food. That seemed to be the only way to participate in the brazilian steakhouse portion. The servers were pleasant when they finally did allow us to get some meat, but it was too far and between. The food also was not what you would expect at that price point. I wouldnt say any of it was bad, but the seasoning was all over the place. Some foods were wayyy too salty, or too much parmaseany, or just not seasoned. I think the most dissapointing was we paid for the lobster tail, and it had no flavor at all. Overall only thing that made this place nice was the atmosphere and location, will not be back.
My wife and I recently visited Fogo de Chão – Austin to celebrate our anniversary, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. The service throughout the evening was below expectations. The meat servers were handling and placing food on the table carelessly, to the point that it felt unprofessional. Additionally, the gauchos rarely came to our table, so we hardly had the opportunity to try the different cuts. For a restaurant that promotes a full churrasco experience, offering only a few meat options and having limited table service was disappointing. We also noticed that the service provided was not consistent among all guests. It appeared that certain customer/tables received a different level of attention and service, which created an impression of inconsistency in the overall dining experience. We have visited Fogo de Chão in other cities and had much better experiences. This Austin location, however, fell far short. Several of the meats were dry, drink service was extremely slow, and overall customer service was lacking. The bathrooms were also not well maintained during our visit. Another concern was the absence of any visible manager on the floor. In other locations, managers are typically present and checking in on guests to ensure everything is running smoothly. That was not the case here. Lastly, parking is very limited. Guests must rely on valet or find parking nearby, which adds to the inconvenience. I chose this restaurant to celebrate a special occasion, and unfortunately, it did not meet expectations. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works to improve the overall experience at this location.
