First time at Short Stop in Austin! We always ask the locals whenever we travel where are the best places to eat. We wanted a simple, to go burger (drive up only). What we got was one of the best damn burgers we ever ate. Simple and yummy, just like a Feast Burger from back home, fries were perfect, the prices were on point also🫶🍔🍟 check it out peeps🤎🤘

Incredible customer service and courteousness. Everybody at this location is friendly and has a big smile from the window all the way to the cooks. Food came out fast was hot and fresh and exactly what I've come to expect from shortstop. Nothing short of a great experience at this location!

One of my local favorites that is still left from the 80's. My favorite is a number 3 combo which is a double meat double cheese. I ask for no pickles, no onions , with mayo and no mustard, add bacon, jalapenos, well done on the patties. What a great place I hope it stays open forever!!! The chicken tenders are also underrated!!

I haven’t tried my food yet, but Bernice (I hope I spelled this right), y’all were very busy, and yet you weren’t skipping a beat with a positive voice, clarifying my order, and handing me my soda with a great big smile on your face. Short stop had a line on both sides, and walk up’s. All eating their food. Quick service. Bernice, your customer service skills are the reason I pulled over to leave this review before even trying my food. Establishment’s employing humans like Bernice are vital in an atmosphere to grab a quick lunch during a stressful workday. Thank you.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BURGER PLACE! it's like a secret burger place that's not a secret. I went with a double meat patty all the way. And it DID NOT disappoint. But, you can definitely skip the fries. They were not needed. 😆

Play Make a good burger. Everything was fresh. I'm not real sure about the cheese though that was on it. Not sure what kind of cheese they use. They were quick and I was out of there. Their fries had no salt on them. Be nice if they salted the fries. I got iced and it was good. Just no ice. Had to ask for more.

Short Stop offers a good burger, but a long drive-through wait and just an 'okay' burger left me a bit disappointed.

Burger is average at best. Not much flavor to the meat. Seems like basic low quality fast food. Nothing special here. Fries were good but unsalted.

Anyone who rates this place higher than 3 stars was probably either high, drunk, or nostalgic. This place has the some of the laziest, blandest burgers you’ve ever had in your life, albeit presentable. I’d take any fast food chain over this.

I just came and do my order at short stop 2217 E th st Austin Tx 78702 and when I look at the back of the shelf, they don’t even pull hand glove on while making my order and then I asked the lady what is your name she said her name is Lola and I asked her your don’t pull glove on she say we don’t put glove on I don’t like this food. I need my refund back.
