Ordered fried fish with fried brown rice and shrimp, chicken wings with the fried brown rice and shrimp, egg rolls, and fried wontons. Everything was good, especially that fried brown rice with shrimp. First time I ordered and will be ordering again.
I’ve been eating here since I was 7 and I’m bout to be 30 in July 😁. Best wontons, hands-down. ordered two days in a row. 😋 Also, the boneless bbq spare ribs with extra barbecue sauce on top is perfection
I’ve been to this restaurant for years now. The food is good, very tasty and fresh. The service is excellent, the staffs are amazing and my food always delivered on time.

The restaurant is very comfy, staffs are very polite. I love the food there, the fried wings are really fresh, tasty and crunch. It is the must try.
Best Chinese Food in Island!! Chicken with Vegs cooked in Garlic Sauce is most like food in Menu, General Tso Chicken good for try!

Food is absolutely fresh and delicious. Vegetables and shrimp need to be softer, but it is acceptable. Vegetables were a bit crunchy and shrimp was not very soft
Their food is sometimes delicious, sometimes not worth the prices they charge. Their delivery guys are mostly rude demanding a tip; even holding on to your change until you say something. Rarely giving you a chance to give them the tip. Today, one of their delivery guys text my phone; after my daughter had gone down to him to receive the food, Saying "next time go pick up your own food, I earn tip". I found that to be rude and disrespectful being that I've been ordering from them for 19yrs, (mostly big orders) and I do tip most of the time. I called Happy Fortune to let them know and the woman basically took up for him saying "wouldn't you want a tip?" I was very appalled and told her that I couldn't believe that she is condoning his behavior. The driver gets paid whether I tip or not and if its one of his requirements then he should talk to his employer about making a tip mandatory. Even bartenders have to serve drinks (do their job) tip or not; and Im pretty sure I'm not the only person who doesn't tip ALL the time. Is he going to text all the othe non tippers too. Smh. I WILL NEVER ORDER/EAT FROM THERE AGAIN and I will make sure no one I know eats there either.

It's really not that good, the fries are the best, it's just convenient. The owners that were there before were much nicer and the food was better then. Sometimes I dont think they change the oil enough and that's unhealthy and disgusting. Staten Isl is just not the best with Chinese food IMO...

The guy hands me the bag with no receipt. I begin to put the back down with the door open to look for the receipt. Usually, they hand you the receipt to sign and give them a tip. In this case they did over your driver was out of line. He stood at my front door yelling he wants a tip and I usually do not carry cash that’s why I tip on the card. On top of that, he was so aggravated that he only got two dollars because he was disrespectful. He almost hit my pregnant neighbors car with her inside. They need to work on getting better delivery drivers and people that are not rude.

Today, I walked in and greeted them with a smile, and said. I was "New to the neighborhood and I'm looking for some good Chinese cuisine. May I have a menu?" The women stared at me like I was from a different planet. I than awkwardly started looking around and saw a menu I said "oh here it is. Thank you." She than, greeted a women that came in after me. Still not acknowledging what I've said. I go around and eat at places a lot, and I've experienced all types of customer service. But, this one was different. I don't want to try the food. I just have a feeling they won't appreciate the business I'll bring. You lost yourself a customer, and I didn't even get to try a single dish. I just know, the quality of how they treat their customers, is the same quality of the food they'll serve. I'm good.
This is the best Chinese food in this neighborhood, however the older woman that works at the front counter has given my family and I the nastiest attitude one too many times. Having a bad day is understandable, I will deal with the attitude once. Sadly, every single time that I have ordered there recently we have to deal with her acting like she is doing us the favor by working there. Last time I visited she made an error and was screaming at my mother in front of the entire restaurant. I had to come in to correct the issue, when she realized that she was wrong she did not even apologize. She sheepishly handed us the order. Today when we ordered she hung up after we asked a simple question, she didn’t even tell us how long our order will take. I will never give this restaurant my business again- if this is the person that you chose to be the face of your business, you may want to reevaluate every single business decision you have ever made, because i guarantee we will not be the only customers turned a off by the awful service provided.
The food quality has definitely gone down. My recent two orders were really a disaster. In the half chicken fried rice case, the chickens seemed to be old, and then it was burnt and black. The vegetable egg roll was pretty tasteless. In addition, they charge more than other places. When I complained to them about the food, the owner did not apologize or anything. He said it is supposed to come burnt. Pretty pathetic.
The food is decent for the price. Some times it's good, some times the chicken wings are undersized and over fried. Through it all I stood a loyal customer until the attitude from the people that take orders over the phone became too much. Rude and disrespectful, they hung up the phone when I asked to pay with a card. When I called back they argued about hanging up the phone. This was not the first incident of rude behavior but it is the last time I will deal with them. What a shame that they get mad at me because they can't understand what is being said. I was not expecting an apology but I was definitely not expecting to get yelled at. The owners are great people but their employees are horrible.
It is shameful that I asked for five paper plates with my food and they said that they could only give me three. The guys reasoning was that $24 worth of food was not enough for five plates. Little does he know that I have kids and they don’t eat as much so five plates in this case was justified. I said to him that he would lose my business and he shrugged his shoulders as if he didn’t care. He wanted to charge me for two additional plates. This was the last time that I order from this place. Too bad because it’s close to home and I ordered from them 2-3 times a month. I recommend EPIRE EAST. It’s a little more expensive, but they treat you with class. I don’t think that anyone should be treated the way that I was in this situation. On principle and customer service I must give this place 1 star.
I ordered a simple fried chicken wings with pork fried rice. I knew something was off when the woman at the counter was screaming at a customer who just wanted to purchase a small white rice.she was yelling at him that they only sell medium and large. The customer said,”but you gave me a small with my order? Screaming at this man that “we don’t sell small” only medium and large. Then she told him it was $2.50 for white rice? When I got home they chopped up 3 wings to make it look like 6 (which is how many is stated on the menu) bad business acumen! Totally unprofessional.NEVER GOING BACK
The worst customer service I've ever experienced. Off the bat the girl taking my order was EXTREMELY rude. I placed an order anyway, specifying No Vegtable, which she repeated back to me. About 50 minutes later, I received my order, clearly with Vegtable and called them back to let them know. Same girl (Francesca might be her name) continued with her attitude, even more nasty than before. Twice she told me that she KNEW I didn't tell her no veg, then she told me to look at the receipt (where it actually said no veg!) and then somehow told me that there was veg in what I received. I asked if she would like me to send her a picture, at which point she started yelling to the chef who confirmed what I was saying and told me they would send me another one. Never actually preferred to eat the wrong order, but wouldn't put it past this girl to do something to my food so here I am. Second time I ordered from them, second time received an attitude and an hour wait for subpar Chinese food. Never ordering again!
Delivery driver gives wrong change back so he can steal for a larger "tip" Also the food is low quality and the amounts are a joke. I ordered one Beef and broccoli and it's 90% rice 8% broccoli and 2% beef. What a joke. Also all the chicken dishes use low quality brown meat chicken when white meat is the standard for chinese food.
I spent $45 on my order, half which was incorrect and they didn’t want to correct it, I didn’t even want my money back.I just wanted it corrected. This is the only place I’ve come for my Chinese food, but it’s not that serious. I won’t come here anymore. they really think that they are a hot commodity. Their is that establishment is overpriced & isn’t the cleanest & they have a bad attitude.
