I made the best decision by deciding to throw my best friend’s surprise 30th birthday party here. Chris was super accommodating, the food was so delicious, drinks were great, and the staff was so helpful and sweet! Highly recommend Fava. Will definitely be planning more parties here in the future.
My boyfriend and I had an amazing experience and dinner here! The drinks were great we both got a mango margarita and he got the chimichurri steak I got the penne alla vodka. Amazing food and Nick was the best! We came all the way from Massachusetts and would gladly come again.
I had a really nice lunch here with my wife. She ordered the grilled chicken kabob with a salad, and I had the Greek chicken wrap with Greek fries. The chicken was tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The service was also excellent, Cristy took great care of us and made the experience even better. Definitely a spot we’ll be coming back to!
We came here two weeks in a row. Bartender was very welcoming. We were seated immediately with no reservation. The menu was reasonably priced and filled with a variety of Mediterranean dishes. For a drink, I had the cucumber spritzer which was fresh made. For dinner, I had shrimp skewers and my husband had steak skewers. What a plentiful meal with skewers, salad and pita with vegetables. Yummy. Service was great, food was delish and staff qas friendly. The second time we came back, we weren't so lucky with wait time. We brought our son and grand daughter bc we knew the food was delish. This time, food was equally delicious but this time, with a 1 1/2 year old, we waited a longggggg time for our food. A little too long. I know there was a restaurant festival earlier in the day but it was over when we arrived and the restaurant was not packed. Restaurant is kid friendly, my son got a pizza and we were allowed to eat adult food. The baby shared our meal. High chairs are available, parking is a little tough but both time we went we lucked out with parking across the street. It's metered but not after 7:00. We will be back but hopefully next time, the wait will not be too long and the food will still be delicious! Bathroom was also clean both times.
This was my first time at this restaurant and I was not disappointed. The starters were amazing (fritto misto, fava spread, zucchini chips and mom's spanakopita). The main course was just as amazing as the starters. The beef skewers were tender and tasty. The Greek Burger with fava sauce was a delight with copious amounts of Greek fries. Our server was very professional and accommodating. The atmosphere was calm and welcoming. A great place for a quiet family dinner or romantic one. I will highly recommend this place.
The Fava experience was beyond delightful. From the moment you set eyes on the place and the beautiful flower arch outside the door, you know you’re in for a great experience. Then you walk in the door, and you’re in the Mediterranean without even leaving Staten Island. The service was quick without being rushed, the food was delicious and affordable, and the drinks were great. A new restaurant on the island scene, but I’m very glad we found this place and we will without a doubt be back often.
Had an amazing dinner here! One of the best calamari appetizers I have had. Perfectly cooked and the sauce was delicious. Entrees were also great, place itself is really nice and the service was exceptional. I would definitely recommend giving this place a try.
1st time dining here and I was very pleased with the food and service. The grilled octopus was excellent, as was the fried calamari, shrimp and zucchini appetizers. Our entrees of chimichuri steak and lamb chops were perfectly prepared and very tasty. Staff was friendly and attentive, returning to the table to refill drinks. Overall, a very pleasant dining experience.
5 STARS! I tried this place for the first time with my fiance for my birthday. We were very impressed! Our server Ruben was very friendly and attentive. I tried a Fig Martini, and it was surprisingly good. The Baked Feta is a must try as an appetizer. We also tried the Mediterranean Farro Salad, which was very refreshing. My Chimichuri Skirt Steak was cooked perfectly to my liking and was a good portion size. The roasted potatoes and broccoli on the side were also very good. Next time I'm trying the Seafood Paella Pasta dish. But my fiance's Sacchetinni was also very tasty! 5 stars!

Don't sleep on visiting Fava. The food here is amazing! We had a trio of spreads and the lamb empanadas and both were incredible. But the best part of our lunch were the cocktails. The Fava margarita is a delightful play on a Caribbean margarita and the spritzes were fabulous. The cucumber one is like springtime in a glass! I'd drive up from Philly just to eat here!
MY FAVORITE RESTAURANT!! I have been coming here for at least two years. Everyone that I bring here just loves it because the manager goes above and beyond to make sure that we’re all happy! I love coming here. I wish she could open her own place cuz she is a diamond! The food is excellent, and the service is the best. That’s why I keep coming. 💯💯💯
Rayne truly made our visit to Fava unforgettable! From the moment we sat down, she greeted us with a warm smile and a genuine enthusiasm that set a positive tone for the evening. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive, and she offered great recommendations that really enhanced our meal. What stood out the most was her attention to detail—she made sure our drinks were always filled and checked in just the right amount to ensure we had everything we needed without feeling rushed. The food came out incredibly fast, and she took the time to explain each dish, which added a personal touch to our dining experience. Her dedication to providing exceptional service was evident; it felt like she truly cared about making our evening special. If you visit Fava, definitely ask for Rayne—she exemplifies what great service should be!
I had an amazing brunch here today. Everyone was super attentive, the food was absolutely delicious and the service was impeccable! HIGHLY RECOMMEND !
Had our event of 100+ people using favas absolutely delicious food (different venue to accommodate the number of Guests, same delicious food) !! Their chef was able to handle the volume and the food tasted the same as our initial dinner for 2. The food was absolutely delicious. The salads, the pizza, the pasta, the shrimp, the steak to die for!! We were exceptionally satisfied!! The owner was an absolute pleasure to work with. Will return to this restaurant and recommend to all!!
I have to admit, my first visit to this Greek restaurant left me disappointed. The service was slow, and the food didn’t live up to the expectations I had. I almost didn’t come back—but I’m so glad I gave it another chance. This time, everything was completely different. From the moment I walked in, the staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The service was prompt, friendly, and thoughtful throughout the meal. And the food—wow. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The grilled burger was perfectly tender, the spicy sausage delicious and comforting and seasoned just right. The cocktails were also top-notch—clearly crafted with care. What a turnaround. It will now be one of my favorite spots. Huge kudos to the team for the improvements—they’ve more than earned my loyalty. Highly recommend!
Fava Restaurant is a standout on Staten Island! The food was excellent—loved the garlic & oil spicy shrimp, spanakopita, chicken souvlaki, and quinoa salad (fresh, flavorful, and generous portions with perfect Mediterranean touches). Service was outstanding: friendly, attentive staff who made the experience welcoming. Atmosphere is nice—cute, modern, and relaxed, though not overly fancy. Great spot for sharing mezze or a full meal. Highly recommend this gem!

Food is incredible and amazing service. Nicky and Christy also make the best drinks! I highly recommend this place 10/10

I came here for valentines day with the hopes of trying something different for a change, and overall the experience was pleasant. While they ran a special for a vday menu of 65 a person with free champagne, that unfortunately got canceled and they didn’t notify customers in advance so that was disappointing given the good deal. Nonetheless, the atmosphere is really nice, definitely has a nice greek Mediterranean feel , it felt like summer for a moment which was nice. I just hate how cold I felt each time the door opened and closed since its just one dining room. The regular menu has decent options from platters to finger foods, nice dips, salads, and hearty mains. The problem with the menu is that their wine list is non existent, they apologized a million times for not having even the Zoe greek wines in house or basic ones like Josh Cellar, but their pitcher of sangria really made up for it. They should invest in a restocked wine menu if they want to elevate the dining experience since certain wines pair well with fish and red meats on their menu. The waitress acts as the hostess here so they run around like chickens with no head. I also saw ticket numbers got mixed up when they delivered wrong entrees to people. You can tell they really take their jobs seriously as you never saw them standing around doing nothing. We tried their zucchini chips which were divine, lightly fried with good seasoning and yummy tzatziki dip, good start to the night. We then had pistachio crusted lamb chops with sherry wine sauce, let me tell you something, im still thinking about that sauce several days later it is DIVINE. i want to dip everything in their and the pistachio crumbs are sheer genius. We also had steak skewers platter, the platter has good value since you get salad a dip fries and bread or veggies, it was easy to share. I liked the seasoning on their skewers but I wanted the meat medium, it felt too well done. It did have a nice smoky flavor though from the grill. Fries were decent, i would of added more salt . The spicy feta dip was spectacular, loved the crushed red pepper. The greek salad had yummy olives. At the end of the night we tried their cucumber margaritas, it was really good- refreshing and slightly sour , I would drink this in the summer for sure! We also got their triple chocolate cake, we loved it because it was very decadent from their dark chocolate layers. However you would expect them to have baklava and maybe some other pastries with pistachios , instead they had only tiramisu, gelato and chocolate cake. Their pistachio dessert was out of stock . Their $7 cappuccino wasn’t worth it, it barely had any foam and too much cinnamon. This place needs to pull their inventory together if they want to get a five star experience for their customers. Otherwise, the tasty food makes up for everything else that’s lacking. I would return here in the summer time to see what else they have to offer.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at FAVA, and it was a fantastic experience overall. I ordered the lamb chops, and they were excellent—perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavor. It’s clear the kitchen takes pride in what they serve. The interior of the restaurant is really well done—modern, stylish, and inviting. It has a great atmosphere, although when we visited, it was completely empty, which made us feel a little out of place at first. That said, the quiet setting made for a peaceful and intimate meal. Service was also top-notch. Attentive, friendly, and professional from start to finish. Great food, great service, and a beautiful space—I’d definitely recommend FAVA to anyone looking for a quality dining experience.
I picked the wrong night to come here. Monday nights they host a poker game, they were loud to the point we couldn’t hear each other talk. The food and drinks were great but the atmosphere was not it!

Came here with the family for the reviews and got the steak chimichurri and left hungry, it was a small portion with two potato's and two pieces of broccoli. I don't believe this was worth the price. Others at the table got burgers and wraps which were just okay. The fries and dessert were their only redeeming quality. The mezze platter was underwhelming and not family style, we were a party of 6 people and it was 2 pieces of pita per person. Overall left underwhelmed and still hungry for $400, in this economy not worth the price.

We visited the restaurant around 5 p.m. and found it completely empty. We ordered calamari, octopus, pappardelle, and the steak pita. The calamari and octopus were excellent and easily the highlights of the meal. Unfortunately, the pappardelle was disappointing — it wasn’t actually pappardelle with ragu as listed on the menu, but rather plain fettuccine bolognese with a spoonful of ricotta on top. The steak pita was also underwhelming; the meat was very dry despite the waitress asking how we’d like it cooked. The pita itself was stuffed with fries, and fries were also offered as a side, which felt redundant. What really stood out was the lack of options: on a Saturday evening, they had run out of beer and almost all desserts, with only two remaining. Considering the prices, the quality of the food and the overall experience didn’t meet our expectations .

Very disappointed- arugula was mushy, wilted, drowning in dressing and with yellow leaves. Cost $25 for this with tomatoes and olive. No bread - no beans.
